no, no single role is more OP than the other. It’s the Perks + Environments variables that make one side stronger.
It is a difficult topic.
From statistics alone, its not even close. The Killer has the upper hand by a long shot.
This could be because the ranking system is bad overall, there are way to many potato survs in red ranks. It can also be because many killer bring red moris, which is totally overpowered. Yes, way more op then any key can ever be. It is also true that kill =/= times hooked. But in the end it does not matter.. the survivor is dead.
It is also map dependent. Some maps are better for survivor, some are better for killer.
The next important part of this is solo vs group. A group can dominate a killer, but a killer normally dominates 4 randoms.
There are some killers that are (still) overpowered (Nurse, Spirit ... please mr killermain, dont deny that... ty) and there are some killers, that might be a little bit to weak for facing a strong group (Hello Clown, Legion, Bubba).
Thats it. And this is mainly 90% of the discussion on this forum.

I've seen some Unbra videos. Really ridiculous. To the point you question if it's legit. The other two I've never watched.
The game itself definitely favors the survivor side vs the killer side.
But charaters and perks change up alot of it...
I agree, killers can have high tier perks to slug and survs only can counter it once with unbreakble. Sometimes no need unbreakable but how to counter knock out or infectious fright?

A SWF group with the meta perks and voice com? Well that's another issue.
The issues with balance in DBD are the fault of three main things: 1. Solo-SWF gap, map design, and the variance in killer power levels.

Yes, but as killer coukd you listen to music or atleast play normally? As a surv , I listen to music and dont pay much attention until hes right next to me then gets looped.

Yet a entire squad of Survivors without perks can dominate a Killer. Yet a perkless killer will have trouble against the same lvl of skill that those survivors have.
Without perks both ways, killer wins. I play only killer. It’s literally unbalanced based on Perks and the variables of tiles. Nothing else.
That's not true. There was the depip squad that faced killers who had perks and the killers lost.
