Hillbilly Broken? Discussion/Question
I've been hearing alot of talk that Billy is broken or should be next for a nerf, I made this to see why people believe this.
I personally believe he is what every killer should be, strong but countable and if you disagree please try to say why and be open for a discussion.

We got it. Everyone that isn't your opinion has to be really bad and has to learn to play. May be you should learn to tolerate or simply grow up.
I made my point more than clear. Time will tell if my feeling was right or if im just really bad.
You forget the extra time instasaw buys you.
Instasaw doesn't exist anymore. Tinkerer was reworked. Stacked charge time addons cut it down by literally one second. I didn't forget anything. Read the entire thread next time.
Yes seconds count in dbd. Literally no one agrees with you that Billy's add ons are fine.
Maybe Clown should be severely nerfed then, you can hold his bottles (the Killer Power) and walk around with full speed for as long as you want. Sounds really busted from that perspective.
Get rid of the idea to "teach" people ur opinion.
An opinion is not a lesson.
No matter what you say - i have my point.
Why? Cause i face hillbilly since 5k hours and 2k16. U dont have to teach me.
Literally never said that. I agree to disagree with plenty of people. I will say, and continue to say, that only unskilled survivors will say Billy is overpowered.
If you can't handle being told you're wrong, I really don't know what to tell ya. You said he needs "cooldowns like nurse", and he already has cooldowns like nurse. You showed with your opening statement alone that you are either a new player or not very knowledgeable of neither survivor or killer gameplay.
Thanks. Glad to see another like-minded and sensible person. You picked a great time to join the forums. Be wary though, if you tell someone they are wrong you'll likely be reprimanded for it.
Seconds count, and if you're in the middle of a loop, that second means nothing. If you're out in the open, you were screwed whether the Billy had charge addons or not.
Seconds matter more to the killer than anything. Survivor games aren't time sensitive. Killers are.
You have spotted the fatal flaw in their logic. Excellent.
So you're saying seconds do count and super fast charging is op?
Thanks for the win! I won the second you manufactured something I never said.
You tried this multiple times before. Remember how it worked out then? Spoiler: it didn't.
A win? Are you some type of sicko that gets off from winning internet arguments? Anyways, you said seconds count so...if seconds count and the add ons save seconds then surely they are too powerful. Seconds do count at loops, why do you think stbfl or dead hard or vault speed builds are used?
I never said he is OP. Please quote me saying this.
His power is imbalance in comparison to other killers. U dont seem to get this point, althought is not that hard to understand.
I can handle being told i am wrong, because i dont give a dime (which i already said before).
Using emoticons makes you look silly, you considering stopping?
Same goes for you. Please quote me telling billy is OP.
His power is imbalanced in comparison to other killers'. 2 or 3 seconds cooldown wont change a thing at this fact.
Death above me said it perfectly. I'm convinced you're trolling now.
Maybe. What's it to you? in any case, when you resort to literally manufacturing statements I not only didn't make, but didn't even imply (implication being key, here), you forfeit. They are right. You do tend to do that a lot.
Yea sicko was kind of harsh...my bad
Time is very important for survivors in chases. I don't get why you think it doesn't. Just look at how much of a difference the 15% vault speed can make.
Charging the chainsaw faster can absolutely make a big difference in loops, especially if you know how to curve.
Even half of a second could be game changing in certain situations, for both sides.
Imbalanced and overpowered are two different things. Just reconsider the latest changes that have been made to killers. U might get a clue of what im talking about.
But hey, just call me a troll if it makes you feel better. If his power gets tweaked, you might remember my trolling words.
During chases, sir; but their entire objective doesn't hang on time. They can take as long as they need and have all the tools to do it.
Billy is high risk/reward, people who complain are bad at the game. They will gut him like they did with nurse and so on...
Yes yes, every map has 0 obstacles and is 100% deadzone, billy op. *facepalm*
I wouldn't want them removed, just nerfed a bit. Though I donÄt really have a strong opinion on that matter, I can just see why people would want them nerfed a bit, since they are really powerful and Billy is already a strong killer at base.
Puh lease, it’s survivors like you that don’t know how to counter a bully with these add ons and say it needs to be changed or whatever instead of just getting better lol
Oh yes it's completely fine that the add ons eliminate most counter play to billy. I play more killer than survivor btw, but thanks for admitting your bias and discrimination :)
The Spirit is a more balanced version of Hillbilly's archetype.
Um, good for you? Good job for being special and facing an unskilled Billy.
People just dont want their ez mode killer nerfed.
Do you ever provide any good arguments? Or are you just going to call anyone who has a different opinion to you bad at the game?
Watch good billys running charge add ons.
Kiddo, nothing is easy as killer. Ez mode is the survivor part of the game, you know where people are too bad to hit a skillcheck.
This party is still going, I see. OOF
But all you have done all day is call anyone who disagrees with you a bad player. Its quite insulting.
I haven’t spoken about anyones skill level, just pointed out that Billy is the easiest of the top tier killers. People will always take the easiest path. Its why many pick other killers over Nurse. Or why many take the strongest perks (e.g. NOED)
I wasn't talking about engravings. I'm talking about tuning guide and prime bulb combo. Makes chainsaw feel so skill-less.
Freddy doesn't exist or hag
Eh they're pretty close contenders as well if we're talking Billy base kit. But if it's double charge addons, it becomes so braindead to play.
Ok closing this here as a few of you need to understand this is a discussion forum and people are entitled to their opinion without it being "wrong" - the personal attacks on other users are not going to be tolerated.
