Let’s talk about what the devs haven’t done in 2019.

a year or so ago the devs said:

1) ”IN DECEMBER MATCHMAKING WILL BE IMPROVED”. Still not the case.

2) “FPS on consoles and low end PCs will be improved to a CONSTANT 60 FPS by chapter 14”. Chapter 14 is here and there’s barely a difference, but at least it’s noticeable.

3) “Dedicated servers will release Late Summer 2019”. That didn’t happen. It got delayed to “Late Fall 2019”. Guess what December 21st was? It was the first day of winter. It’s winter and 9 days left in 2019. You guys still haven’t mentioned anything on the servers as of lately. So that’s great.

YOU KNOW WHAT WE GOT IN 2019:

1) Freddy doesn’t suck.

2) Nurse sucks.

3) More cosmetics?

4) The best m1 killer to never do anything, The Plague

5) The most unused killer in the game, The Demogorgon

6) IMO a kind of boring killer for what the hype led up too, The Oni

7) Japanese Nea (Yui)

8) BUGSSSSS

9) the rift. With more bugs.

10) rift challenges that are overly try hard and situational. They suck the ever living titty milk out of your brain until you can’t process anything else other than what face camping, noed using, basement killers pupils look like. Or worse, 4man SWF trying time deplete 9 (reduced 3) keys.

10) frames dropping on bloodlust is broken is a problem again for the 1000th time since 2017.

11) the mostly dead dbd platform... the switch

12) no real events since the Chinese New Years. The game can just stay stale asf forever now

I think 2019 really sucked for the most part in comparison to the 2018 year. It also didn’t really help the game much, honestly this year has only dedicated to improving the game, but such lack of improvements where they are most dire falls with consequences which personally felt like they hurt hard this year. The game did get a nice influx players due to the Netflix/StrangerThings agreement and Rift pass, but I feel as if the devs had slowed down the constant every 3+/- month release of a killer there would be more room to actually improve what has been promised. There are many variables that effect the game and it’s stability in all cases, so I don’t put all the burden on the devs. Praying for a good 2019.

EDIT: for those commenting on “Freddy doesn’t suck” and saying “no he’s great, that’s understatement and you’re being unreasonable”. I said he doesn’t suck. he sucked before. now he doesn’t. In what way does that statement sh*t on Freddy? If you wanted me to say he’s great, he’s not imo.

  • i don't think they even care at this point. but in the past they say the game is getting updates for atleast the next 5 years. yeah sure. if the game isn't dead then with the constant killer nerfs. killers are memes. survivors are the killers in this game.

i made a couple of threads and tweets about dedicated servers for console but they getting ignored.

they even don't mention problems if we don't ask for it. they pretty much ignore it. thats the sad thing.

  • Isn't ironic how all of this is happening, and they tried to do the same thing with Deathgarden, which resulted in the game ACTUALLY GETTING KILLED.

(basically saying they haven't learned from their mistakes, i know DBD team didn't make Deathgarden, but they still definitely looked at it from the sidelines, and do something so it doesn't happen again.)

Yes, the game's not recycling memory properly.

It's why for some people it takes ages at the end of the match for the score screen to appear after they've been playing a while.

Btw dont forget when you dead hard and the game freezes for 1s or you throw a hatchet, that's total bs

Odd I never really noticed that's stupid after all this time

The game runs at 60 FPS on console (unstable though) just saying. Also the one thing that everyone seems to forget is that BHVR is just an indie studio with a big hit on their hands. Do you really think they can pump ######### out at the scale of a triple A studio? The main issue with BHVR is that they are way too ambitious just leads to them promising things and not being able to deliver because they are not big enough to support the game in the level they want too.

Considering they made triple a games in the past and are working on star bound, yes.

They pump put paid cosmetics at an insane speed. Why can they not do the same with bug fixes?

Yeah, they would answer something like: the cosmetics are made by a specific team of the whole company, and the programmers do other things. But then, some people still buy the cosmetics, waste money and devs think they're doing ok because they are having gains, then focus more on cosmetics.

  • All these promises and we just ended with a new, hated and even more dark Yamaoka map: The Sanctum of Wrath!

Seriously, who asked for a new Yamaoka map?

You have a pretty bad attitude my friend. Criticisms are all well and good. Some of the things you pointed out are legitimate concerns and criticisms. But you can make your point without being so negative.

  • @TooKoolFoU i actually main demo, even if i only play viable and high required mechanical skills killers(Huntress, Billy, Nurse), because they are fun and more rewarding especially on console, Demo is one of them even if it's the easiest between the hardest ones..the aim is hard to control, and he is one of the killer who makes the game drops fps even more.. i need to play him on certain maps, and restart the game every hour, to play him at his full potential

  • Gotta love how all theses people act like makeing a AAA game is so easy and that promising something means it has to happen. Lay off the devs I'm positive that they are working as hard as they can. I want to hear from a game developer that can set this all straight and instead of players just shitting on a damn good game. Yeah it has its bugs but name one AAA game that doesn't have it's issues after 3 years. If someone can bring proof of a game like that then go away and play something ealse and don't wine bout something you can't not will help with.

  • Huummmmm this year smell like "it's already bad, but we can do worst"

  • They have refused to add in the garbage monster

If they're working as hard as they can then we need to worry.

Every single aspect of this game has major issues.

Doesn't seem like they're trying at all.

Actually promising something does mean it had to happen... like it’s the definition otherwise you’re breaking a promise, lying to people who pay you money for something.
