The afk system is too punishing, you can get crows by crouching in terror radius while killer patrols gen or by looking for flashlight/sabo. Also low profile and left behind are even worse now, actually all stealth builds are obsolete now.

It tilts me a bit when I see comments saying face-camping in EGC guarantees 1 kill without any skill, where Survivors can easily make the rescue as long as everyone's still alive.
As for slugging for 4k, I don't do it myself, but I can see why people do it, and I don't blame the killers. It's just the way hatch is designed.
You guys really shouldn't blame killer players for making the optimal play. Blame devs.
My comment above was meant to quote this

It tilts me a bit seeing comments like this, expecting the game to be balanced around 4 man swf. You have 0 idea about random lobbies, especially with crossplay. Some survs just tunnel corner gens resulting in 3 gen situation. Even if they unhook you next to killer, it doesn't mean they would take protection hits or help you in any way.

Idk personaly his hitbox is smaller than huntress and works normaly, truth is axe will be faster than uncharged huntress but thats needed he isnt that oppresive as people think and good swf can eat him now, after year he will be another b-tier because his counterplay will be know and now its silly like getting him revealed with cameras trough walls all he can do to stop this is throw axe into the door with the camera but he cant do it trough walls and he is just m1 then, without his invisiable bug he will be much easier to prerun and with the amout of counterplay with cameras plus the mobility survivors can get (its much harder to get people trough doors on random more as you think its like a dredge with locker grabs) he wont be much of the problem, his antiloop in form of axe is good but its much harder to hit than huntress (longer you hold it more it falls down and his max reach is 18 meters same as slinger) and is more punishing against good survivors (ones that can loop good and their teammates are working on gens and dont randomly run around wasting time).
You are talking about a different thing. His whole pov is sometimes bugged when throwing axe, like he literally isn't even looking at you. I'm not talking about balance, I'm talking about bug.

There are some trolls down voting literally everything here. Whatever someone says, there's a down voter. They don't even comment, they just spread their own hatred towards life.

What on Earth does ‘looking at Africa’ mean?
It's the same as "he was on the other side of Africa" meaning he wasn't even facing at me or looking at me and axe still hit me.

Still exists.
I think I'll record some gameplay to show this. Still don't know if the vaults are silent to killer's aswell, which makes this bug an advantage to survivors. -
I've only played the beta few games, but I felt like rushing gens and looping if killer comes is still the best tactic and not looking around the doors, unless a highly coordinated swf.

Still exists

Just wanted to update, that this still happens.

You do know they raised the cap to 5,000,000 right?
Yes I know, also it's insta queue for survivor, if you don't immediately click ready, you will spend the same amount of bp that you will also get after the game. I'm stuck at cap, unless I don't instantly queue for new game.

I still have this

What really nice perks reward killers for not tunneling?
Grim embrace iex.

Why do people not understand it's part of the game now. If the game allows it, you just have to accept it. Killers have to accept things they don't like as well.
So we are not supposed to shake the stale meta we've had for months by reworking perks or gameplay mechanics? We've had some really nice perks to reward killers for not tunneling. It's part of the game now? Yeh imagine people grinding other games without new content and gameplay being the same. Let me go play some world of warcraft and farm 1 dungeon for the rest of my life.
-
If I have 50% bonus by just playing survivor, why would I stack it with cakes? I already have to spend bloodpoints between every game to not be capped all the time. Also can't use the event offering after the event.
-
Just wanted to update that I just got hit by Ghouls ability while he was on the first floor and I was on the upper floor (2 staircases) at eyrie of crows main building. There wasn't even straight line of sight. But I guess this is intented.
-
I'm against removing dc penalties, but till they nerf ghoul they should completely remove dc penalty. 99% of the games are hard camping and tunneling ghouls that trash solo lobbies, most of the games we don't even get to play the game cause of so many people instantly leaving or rage quitting. This killer single handedly ruined this game for so many survivors. You wanna counter ghoul? Okay here's the 4 perks that are actually useful against it. We literally can't even change perks to our liking now.
-
I wanted to give this game a try, now that I got 2 friends to play with today. Killer basic attacked and downed me from behind a wall. Killer was behind the big crate, that is inside shack, next to pallet. The pallet was dropped and killer was behind the crate (inside the shack, not behind pallet). Perfectly balanced killer, getting m1 behind pallets.
-
After another camp + tunnel game, where styptic + antihemo does nothing, antitunnel and exhaust perks are useless. I'm done with the game. So done. Camping and tunneling has already been meta for few months and now we get the same games, but with broken killer. I'm so done. You can't enjoy solo queue at all.

The first hit is practically always guaranteed and feels quite unrewarding, is it skillfull to hit from 30 metres with the indicator of the open mouth acting as an auto-aim? Not to mention the fact that the hitbox is tremendously large enough to catch is survivors behind walls.
I also don't understand why the devs always fall into the same mistake: the killer has very little cooldown after using the leap, it's a scenario we've seen dozens of times with other killers. So far the survivor side fun is not expected.
I honestly thought 3 weeks was enough time to certify that this killer was already strong enough during the PTB, the fact that he even came out with buffs and 0 nerfs is quite worrying. The killer has very little cd after using the leap. Yep. Just got downed in the smallest possible loop after killed vaulted a pallet and caught me and hit me from behind. No mind games involded. Even Wesker can't just vault a pallet and immediately hit you again without you being able to run atleast once more trough the window or pallet.

Penalty for rage quit is not solving a problem why survs do so. Game may end up with less quits and less players.
It will make the survivors think twice before rage quitting, as the penalty gets higher each time you do it, surely they don't mind the first 2-3 times, but after 15 minute penalty comes 30 minutes? After that is it 1 hour? If people get those penalties faster, they need to calm down and close the game or actually play the game. If we lose rage quitters, do we actually lose anything? Should we also not ban griefers who ruin the game for others to prevent losing players? I've been held stuck in a game for over 10 minutes by a Wraith, stuck in a corner not being able to move since the killer doesn't hit me. Should we not punish that killer to prevent losing players? We also lose players who cba going game after game to only have rage quitters and griefing. Also patching to remove the skill checks from 2nd state shouldn't be too hard to implement it the next patch, that would actually help.

Chase prompts on the UI are barely helpful especially against stealth or killers with no terror radius or killers chasing multiple people in rare cases. If someone spots a killer chasing them but you're not aware because the UI prompt is not active then being able to shout that out is useful since they're not even being stealthy anyway.
Unhooking is a nightmare if you don't have kindred on at all, not knowing who's going for an unhook and being unable to judge who the closest person is and if they're in chase at the moment as well sucks too. Problems SWF players don't have to struggle with. Quick prompts to let people know the status of the situation definitely gives solo survivors more tools to work with when helping the team.It doesn't matter who is the closest survivor, you have plenty of time to run for unhook. Factors like hook count, current health status and if the survivor is doing an objective count. Also you can see gen progress, so if you see a survivor with 90% gen progress, that survivor will go for the unhook after the gen. Stealth killers don't matter, you can still see the tentacles shaking on the player who 's in chase. If the killer starts to "chase 2 survivors", the other one continues the gen they were doubling, or runs to unhook, why would the 2 survivors stack and sandbag each other on the loops? This argument just sounds like those overly altruistic survivors who lose the game for others while chasing the killer 24/7 with flashlight, only to flashlight killers butt from behind while they could have finished a gen. The real value in kindred is to see where the other survivors where doing the gens or hexes that got interrupted. Usually you just see the aura of someone afking or crouching around without killer even close with kindred.
-
Okay, after just ending another solo queue match with 3 genning survivors, I do believe we need to have a marker to mark gens red so survivors wouldn't fix all the gens next to each other. Even after doing follow emote and shaking head, the survivors doubled the last gen resulting in an unwinnable 3 gen, then the console survivor hid for over 10 minutes while others tried to fix the last gen.
-
It wouldn't matter. Remember what it was like before they added the extra information on the bottom left hud? Now we can see that someone is in chase and 2 people are doing gens. Now the full hp survivor with 0 hooks doing nothing should be the one going for unhook. However this is rarely the occasion in solo queue. Ignorant survivor or one with 0 gamesense would just ignore the added communication lines aswell. Survivors should also be able to tell if killer is straight up facecamping and not stop the anticamp meter, unless they trade at the very last second. The only advantage with voice chat is knowing which gens your teammates are doing and where the killer is.

Can you help me figuring out why im getting hit through walls?
On anything else im willing to give it a lot of time, but that one feels incredibly cheap to play against.
I'm also getting hit trough walls, behind obstacles while out of killers line of sight. The most bullfrog one was when I just played Hawkins and got hit trough upper floor while being kn the first dloor below killer. At firsr I thougvt it was just lagg, but after that bullfrog Hawkkn's incident, it can't be just lagg.
-
You forgot to take into consideration what your teammates do. I see a lot of people unhook next to killer and run away without giving protection hits, which has a major impact on the tunneling. I could be looping the killer and have 3 survivors open chests and do dulls or fix 3 gens at the corners and 3 genning us early on. I also think playing early morning you get sweatier swf's, playing mid day, middle of the week you get these returning players.

"It's nothing but hard camping and tunneling. Solo queue is 110% unplayable."

Seriously. People keep using that word and it's absurd. Not fun =/= unplayable. Barely ever winning =/= unplayable. Imbalanced =/= unplayable.
Solo queue is unenjoyable. There, you feel better?

This still isn't updated on the perk tooltip. We just wasted a lot of time for posting the bug. My time was also wasted twice, since doing support ticket failed on the last step where it asks for email. Labour of love.
-
Not sure, we played as premade. However the perk is already bad, why doesn't it work on blocked generators?
Edit: I just checked the perk tooltip for weaving spiders, it doesn't clarify this and is really confusing. Also that perk is really bad, please make it work trough blocked gens. Imagine working for 60 seconds straight for an invocation, and canceling the ritual sets the progress to 0. -
Also submit ticket hasn't worked for 2 days in a row, please fix it. It's already super awful reporting players or bugs.
-
How is this still not fixed? We've had this problem for months now, this was a thing before december…
-
Lmao I just tried to report a toxic postgame chat with screenshots. This time I tried with chrome and not the steam browser, it still says the filetype is not supported. Imagine us having this toxic can of worms community and not being able to report other players. The reporting is made super troublesome and I have yet to figure out how to report.
-
First of all, it should be way faster and more straightforward than it currently is.
Sure but doing that takes a lot of development time and making and designing underpinning system."
Why wasn't it already in the game when it was released? It's a competitive game with solo queue lobbies and chat option.
Nobody records their games, unless they are streamers.
False, I do. Its always running in the background and will save the last mins to a file at a press of a button.
My Nvidia Graphics Card has a service built in, its called Shadowplay. Its really good.
You are nitpicking, nobody as in majority of the players. That is a stupid argument. You can't expect everyone to have systems that support background programs to record and still run the game smoothly.
You cannot attach images when opening ticket trough steam browser, when reporting trough steam and ingame.
Its not bHVR's fault that the Steam Browser is bad. Open a browser outside the game.
It's bhvr's fault for making a report system like this in the first place. Also there are zero instructions given how the report system works.
Are you just commenting coz you like to argue with people?
-
Multiple people has now reported this on the steam forums aswell, this should be top 1 priority on bugfixes!
