I literally did his mission yesterday (send 4 survivors to Cages). It’s probably just random chance. Keep in mind, if you own all the killers, there are 21 killers plus all the survivor daily missions so the probability of getting a Pyramid Head mission on a given day is only around 2-3% or so I think. You have to go through around 30-50 missions on average to see Pyramid Head specifically.
Ah so it's just my amazing luck😄

I've definitely had it, send survivors to cages, which sucks since cages suck.
On another note, I miss when they gave them cool names like "Rite of the Ungrateful" and "Rite of the Dark Within" instead of this weak "Rite of the [insert killer name.]"
I didn't even notice that they changed that, "Rite of the Dark Within" was such a cool name and will be missed
Edit: Just realised it's only the more recent ones that have the name of the killer, so Rite of the Dark Within lives on😁

Just pick Wraith and go afk on the exit gates. Survivor will get their points and you will get what you want.
Whilst the thought of purposefully de-ranking has crossed my mind, The Plague is the only killer I'd need to de-rank for as other killers I do play well with, So I will probably only do that as a last resort.

Myers with moniter
Huntress with nurses
Nurse with shadowborn
Hillbilly with bamboozle for some reason
Everyone with bbq because sweet sweet bp
As a Myers main myself I never understood using monitor as I find he's stronger with a terror radius that allows him to push people off gens easier (providing ruin is being used and still up) unless someone is specifically going for the jump scare build on him.

Halloween is one of the most influential slasher movies as it basically gave birth to the modern day slasher
The score by John Carpenter is legendary
and the first movie didn't bludgeon you with gore, rather it build atmosphere whilst still having solid kills
It's lead is relatable, she's not overly confident but she is competent
and it gave us Michael Myers, the embodiment of evil

Is the charm for mobile only or is it for pc as well?
From what I've seen I believe the charm is for pc and console.

I'm not looking forward to it at all.
With how broken the game currently is, mobile is gonna be a pain.
I hope if it is bad, it's gonna be a meme-able kind of bad. However I think this version has potential to be a good game and I'm hopeful that it will be.

I gave the game a go by creating an account from one of the available countries, just to see what it was all about, it’s not bad for a mobile game and the way you obtain perks is completely different, I played it a few times one week but haven’t played it since. I signed up for the mobile version simply to get the charm.
I get the feeling that the "just for the charm" way of thinking is quite common.

Make your choice +trap on the hook is nice combination so just crouch 🤷🏻♂️
I never said I don't know how to counter it but that doesn't detract from how annoying it is.

Fav: Ghost Face. He scares me sometimes. Myers is a close second but he hasn't made me yelp yet.
Least Fav: Huntress. She's just my problem area with that range, and with lag delay, getting sniped behind structures feels far too common. Harder to avoid. She has my favorite character design though, and is probably a blast to play once you get the hang of it.
Every Huntress that I get put against with bad connection always seem to bring iri heads, infantry belts and an ebony, that is why no killer will be hated by me more than her.

I don't like killers that remove my agency or force me to stop playing in order to hold a button. Doc, Legion, Deathslinger are my least favorites.
Doctor really annoys me. He isn't particuarly hard to loop, contrary to popular belief. Plus the constant screaming, madness sound fx, and having to snap out of it all the time is super annoying.
Legion and Deathslinger are kind of the same to me. Legion will always get the first hit, and they can drag a game out for an obscene amount of time while accomplishing absolutely nothing.
I don't like being reeled in by Deathslinger. It was cool the first few times it happened. Deep Wound is never fun.
I personally like Deathslinger as he isn't as easy to loop as other killers and can end chase early with his range and reel, but as a survivor that is very stealthy Doc makes me change up my play style a lot.

Fun to play against:
Myers (Always keeps you on your toes)
Pig (At least the ones that are good and don't tunnel)
Legion (Being injured doesn't automatically mean they're trying to kill you)
Not Fun To Play Against:
Doctor (Zero chance of stealth once you hit that tier 2. Never feels very rewarding. not a huge fan of the chase music either)
Wraith (Bing Bong, I'm pretending to be gone! But I'm really camping the hook. Least fun stealth mechanic by far.)
Personally I hate killers that camp all game but Wraith is by far the most annoying killer to do it.

Was there any inspiration for the Deathslingers weapon, it is extremely cool and highly unique and I was wondering if it was inspired or if it was thought of independently?

No. It won't. The new matchmaking system can't account for tunneling, SWF, Perk levels (and their effectiveness), solo survivors not comig to unhook you, map variation (certain maps are killer/survivor sided), etc.
It's a performanced based matchmaking that takes ZERO of these factors in consideration. All the new matchmaking does is ask if you had a good or bad game without any consideration for what actually happened.
They're just hiding the ranking system and making the game a free for all so they no longer have to worry about it.
Do we know what will be counted as a "win" for killers yet? Will they have to get a 4k for it to count as a win or will a 2k count as a win?

Yeah, I think the bug specifically has to do with how the algorithm processes the killer's rank - sometimes it receives incorrect rank information from the server, and so it matches them with survivors based on the 'false' rank. So if you get, for example, a rank 9 killer matched against four red-ranked survivors, that's probably what's happening because the system has essentially mistaken that rank 9 for a red-ranked killer and matched them accordingly.
That has actually given me some hope that after the update I'll actually be put against people who are my rank and be able to enjoy playing as killer again.
-
@Fibijean said:
Depends who you ask. I suspect it will fix the problem you're describing, since that's actually a bug with the current system, so unless they port that over, bugs and all, to use for the MMR system, the same issue shouldn't still exist in both versions.
I wasn't actually aware that it was a bug, even though it explains a lot, Thanks.

This is BHVR were talking about. Anything to reduce the number of rainbow games (a person of every rank color) I get on both sides would be great. Or games like a couple hours ago when I went up against two red ranks, and two rank 20's. As a rank 12 at the time. I hope to God well see an improvement, but I don't have high hopes. And while this game could use a reduction in toxicity, hiding ranks isn't gonna help. Let's hope I'm wrong though.
You said it, I've seen threads about how this will just be a band aid to get rid of all the posts with the rainbow match images like you mentioned. however I will try to give the devs the benefit of the doubt and be hopeful that it will improve.

@Rullisi said:
It didn't seem to solve anything really. It's just more confusing with this old rank showing your rank falsely. I still get a lot of completely unbalanced games a lot, especially if I am in swf but also when solo, recently. Ranks are also much worse when I have to match with russians. There should be matchmaking filters to filter out swf, killers, countries.
Yeah I actually feel blessed when I get a full team that is my rank as killer and not the four man swf rank 1 groups that I'm used to getting, I have nothing against swf as long as the highest rank is equal to or slightly above the killers.

Now this is a chart I can get behind

I like alot of killers where you have to mind game against them, it's not just looping them around a pallet or a TL wall.
Ghostface and Myers are up there because I always laugh while playing against them. I use spinechill and half of the time I run right into them.
Trapper is a meme to me because of Sam.
All the average games are there because the killer has a basic mechanic which doesn't really change how I play.
Clown and Bubba do change how I loop, but Clown is an easy match usually, and I always get frustrated when being downed by a Bubba.
Plague and Hag because their powers are annoying.
Freddy because he is Freddy.
I will always stand by Hag being the most annoying killer to go against due to most of them, I repeat "MOST OF THEM" trapping the hook to oblivion.
But Huntress and her hitboxes will always ruin a game for me and make me enjoy it less.

Is there any specific reason for liking and not liking those certain killers?

I just got Oni's Adept with 1 tier 2 and 2 tier 1 perks. And I played him basically as a m1 killer, since I have no idea how to play him. It's all about getting bad survivors. Rank 1 btw...
Oni is the most fun I've had with killer in a long time and I found his adept easy to achieve due to the combination of fun and power he posses.
-
@TDZ_Luke said:
Getting adept nurse was not fun to say the least and I would of got it way before if it was the 4K, however I don’t think it’s the killers achievement that needs altering, why not make the survivor achievement harder, and have it so you need to double pip as survivor.
Cause I believe escaping is the most basic objective as survivor just like a killers main job is to kill all four people, survivors adept could be made harder but it would be easier to just decrease killer adept difficulty rather than escalate survivor. It doesn't help that the emblem system can be an enemy rather than a friend sometimes as well.

@Booper_Of_Snoot said:
Killers are too hard, survivors are braindead easy. Made a post about this on my original account before I got locked out.
Whilst I agree that the survivor achievement is a lot easier than killer, I think its situational if it's easy as if you get put against a killer that camps you on first hook, unless you're playing Laurie with ds chances are they'll tunnel as well, but as mentioned it is situational.

Oh I hear you. The Entity blessed me with survivors that were complete potatoes against a Nurse. Like they had never gone against her before and had no idea what to do. They respected the ######### outta me even though I missed half of my blink hits and I still managed to get Merciless SOMEHOW. Nurses on console are the only killers I won't disrespect.
Yeah I feel so bad when I see a clearly baby Nurse get bullied by my team, if they don't d/c I normally give them a kill as well as my friends if they're with me, I know the pain of getting bullied as a baby Nurse and it can make you want to give up a lot of the time.

Try Nurse on console then talk to us about miracles. Lol. I have never been more bullied as killer than when I was a nurse and the survivors knew I was trash.
That achievement was absolutely antagonising to get and it gave me a whole new respect for console Nurse mains (despite there not being many of them), the only reason I got it was because I was on the Game and that is where I get most of my killer achievements that I don't play often due to the map being quite compact.

Sometimes the game has a stroke and when I escape with 3 teachable perks on the specific character it doesn't reward me.
Given how some matches can go that'd infuriate me, especially if it was a close match, sorry to hear that.

@OfficerTapsomeBooty said:
I agree with the fact that survivors shouldn’t be allowed to get it easier than killers, especially when the survivors have the game built in their favour.
As I mentioned previously I think the survivor requirements are fine and make sense, it just surprises me that killer have to get merciless.
-
@Dehitay said:
Yeah, the difference in difficulty is significant. I've actually intentionally depippped before on some weaker killers with weaker teachables just to accomplish them.
I have only done that with killers with weak perks, I often feel bad though as it feels unfair on the survivors I'm put against.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Many have complained about the change in difficulty for killer adepts. Unfortunately it's tied to the (busted) emblem system now, so I'm not sure if/when it will be altered.
Yeah I find it strange that killers have to get a near/perfect match whilst survivors only have to escape.
