Reduction of snares basically means you can't use it as trap now. So only as chase tool now.

However, i can't accept they reduce pallet freddy. It's already weak, and nerfing it even more just makes every pallet add-ons useless.

That's what confuses me, the slowdown is meant to discourage setting snares in chase, yet there aren't enough to warrant taking the time to set up and see decent value in most situations. Also, I agree that the pallets didn't need a reduction in the amount of tokens, the snares were the issue.

  • When I play The Trickster, I try to use the knives, but it's so hard to get hits with them at loops that I've just resorted to normal looping...but I can't even do that to effectively because the killer moves at 110%. I really wanted to like this killer, but he just isn't strong at all.

  • To me, he's quite relaxing to play. I don't have to think about hiding my approach like the stealth killers, I don't have to worry about setting up a bunch of traps, I just go and chase.

  • Someone complained that I was running Zanshin Tactics on The Nurse.

3 killers per year and at least 1 licensed is the schedule I believe and if the past 2 were original it has to be licensed. They said they dont want to make a habit if doing things back to back, but they want to be surprising on their schedule

I could see the next chapter being licensed, I just don't think it's as likely as an original. But like you said, they want to keep the schedule unpredictable, so you never know. One of the reasons why I think it'll be an original is because there are 4 more realms left that are visually "outdated" (Coldwind, Haddonfield, Swamp & Red Forest). I believe the devs want the reworks for the maps done ASAP, so if 19 was original, they would do 2 realm updates, and finish the last two in the subsequent midchapter. This would make the first new map the Anniversary Chapter, which is going to be licensed. If 19 was a license, they would most likely make a new map (due to the nature of the content), pushing the final reworks to the midchapter of 20, which would be late July-ish. 20 is definitely going to have a map, as it's gonna be a "large" license, since MCote already planted the hype seeds at the end of last year. Honestly, anything can happen, this is just my perspective on the matter.

  • Oni is more fun, but Spirit is overall more powerful. Spirit overall has better perks that can fit into a more general variety of builds, however the Oni has more niche perks that normally would have builds built around them (exhaustion build with Blood Echo, Obsession-switching build with Nemisis). Both are great killers, it just depends on what you're currently looking for. @IDK_BRUHH What are the killers you currently enjoy playing the most?

  • While blighted Myers is cool, the devs have stated that the deal surrounding the Halloween content is very specific about how the characters must look (I believe the original deal was that they must look as they did in the original film). For a blighted skin, they would have to renegotiate the contract.

  • I think it'll be an original killer, since MCote already said in his 2020 year in review post that the anniversary will be licensed. I don't see them doing licensed chapters back-to-back like before, since they're starting to run out of BIG horror franchises that aren't already in the game.

If you really like the game like I do, you wouldn't mind all the problems it has.

Yes sometimes it is buggy, yes sometimes the events are not as good as we wanted them to be, yes sometimes you get destroyed by others

But the Devs are always trying to repair things and improve themselves, they give us things, and the only thing they get as a return is "Go ######### yourself" when we should say "Thank for creating one of the funniest game"

And you know what? I'll never stop playing this game for the only reason that is it the only good multiplayer "horror" game I know

And if any of you guys want to complain about the prices of the Skins, remember this, you AREN'T forced to pay, just keep playing with the basic skins. You'll see, you can save money this way

And just to be clear, yes it is obvious the devs rushed the DLC to be released the 1st December, and I won't complain about that as well... Why? Because if they hadn't they would have delayed the Advent Calendar Event, which would have been really dumb.

Conclusion : You complain because the DLC is rushed but get the event and wait for the hotfix

The DLC is delayed but the event too and you complain as well

You guys that keep trashtalking about this game (i'm not pointing you @bluekitt, i'm saying this to all the people concerned)

You want to go? Fine, you won't be missed.

And I hope the devs will read this, seeing that some people still think they are doing an amazing job

While I feel that people have been too critical of this chapter, you still have to hold the devs accountable. The fact that the patch launched with this many bugs is not ok, even people who did not spend money on this Chapter have had to endure its issues (three killers are currently majorly bugged, not including The Twins, who are a whole different story). You say that delaying the update would have delayed the advent calendar, but that's not true. The event is a bunch of sweater cosmetics, charms, and frosty eye heads for this year's original killers, I assure you delaying the chapter by one, even two weeks would not have delayed these rather small editions to the game. Telling people they won't be missed by the community just because their opinion differs from yours is unfair. If you truly loved this game, you would be willing to acknowledge that there are some problems, instead of dismissing them. This year has been hard for the devs, I won't deny that. Working from home has most definitely caused the development to change course in a few aspects, and I do think that the developers can do a good job (just look at The Blight, and all of the visual reworks for the maps), however we as a community need to look at both sides of the coin. I love this game, but some of the things that have been occurring as of late have me concerned about the game's future. Brushing aside the sheer amount of issues with this patch tells the devs that you're ok with this quality of a product, which will send them the wrong message. If they see that people are OK with things like this, who's to say the next major patch won't stretch the limit even further? I don't think the devs are intentionally trying to be malicious, but someone on the team thought this patch was ready to be released to live. You have the right to your own opinion, however I urge you to look at the other side, consider what people are saying. How would this game look to someone who started playing this game when the Chapter launched? They would play for a few hours, see all the bugs, and possibly quit. That isn't good for the longevity of the game, and based on how many people are getting fed up with the devs, new players are needed now more than ever.

  • I think his bottles are going to refill automatically (like Bubba's charges, albeit with a lot slower replenish rate than Bubba's chainsaw).

  • Wraith is a stealth killer that has been outclassed as the years have passed. His power allows for surprise attacks, but turns him into an M1 killer once he gets that first hit. With Ghostface (who most would agree is the best stealth killer), he also doesn't have any chase powers, however he can instadown, drastically cutting down the time it takes for him to deal with survivors. I don't think Wraith needs a complete rework, however he needs something that will make him something more than an inferior Ghostface...

  • While Bubba has a better power in chase, the sheer fact that Billy can control the map due to his mobility, alongside still being able to instadown survivors makes him the better killer in my opinion. Billy can still charge his chainsaw to force early pallet drops, and while the overheat mechanic does exist, I've never found it to be a real hindrance.

  • Try using one of the slam duration add-ons so that you can take your time to learn the strange hitboxes a bit better. Blight has been one of my main killers since he launched, and I had that same issue at first. One tip is to make sure his hands one your POV are clear of any possible collision, his hitbox is pretty sensitive.

  • No new ones as of yet, there will most likely be a few codes as the holiday season picks up though...

  • The devs have confirmed that he'll be coming when Chapter 18 launches on December 1st. The reason why he wasn't available on PS5 at launch was due to licensing issues.

  • He should, other reworked killers this year have been getting unique chase music (with Leatherface being the exception, since he's a licensed character).
