@Lynxx It's the hypocrisy of socialism in general. Sorry to take it political, but it is. The corporations are falling over themselves to Cowtow to the loudest of people. David didn't need to be gay. In the interest of inclusions they made David Gay, yet, didn't just make a brand new character with perks and cosmetics to match. That would have been representation. They'll censor any bad word. You could stretch to imagine why Rancor and Killer would be censored in chat. Stretch. But Red Herring? C'mon. That censorship hypocrisy is, they delete bad words that offend and some that don't het encourage toxicity in gameplay with the mechanics they've presented. Women want rights but don't want men to have them. Etc etc etc.
I don't buy in to any bull. Be yourself, I'll be myself. I don't need representation. But censor what I can and cannot say and you've crossed the line. Some people swear as a coping mechanism, others for genuine comfort, others because its their local culture. Who's really gonne be able to do anything if a bunch of delicates go rattling because the mean man on the Internet used a swear? Easier to implement a bull AI censor bot.

I literally said one of the perks I was using as in my match it had OP vaule. So, BHVR doesn't like "Red Herring," apparently. It offends someone woke? I curse a blue-streak on a daily basis in my life and do you know who are the only ones to tell me shut up or find it hugely offensive? Snowflake millenials and Gen Z

No white glyph challenge. Dude was on death hook. Survivors played like trash. I capitalised on every mistake, even went the other side of the map to give them a breather. No totems were done and I was running the perks to activate totems once hooked. A 3K and the last survivor injured AND on death hook. 3000 more bloodpoints than me. I took a BP sacrifice offering. There is no conceivable or logical or digitally mathematical way he could have gotten more BP.

@Munqaxus It was Nia Decosta, Peele just a production credit. But I agree wholeheartedly.
I also think FNAF is a bad idea. The whole deal with the puppets is they don't move when you look at them. That sounds like a massive nuisance.

@drsoontm I said there was no indication of anything being done. As cheaters and hackers are still here, ruining it for the rest of us as strong as ever. The WAY they're going about it is a failure. Calling something an impossibility just because it hasn't happened yet is a bit previous. Also, the fact that Piraters can also get away with having for free what I paid for and playing with all of us on the same servers is broken. No other online game allows piracy to join the real servers, except DbD. All pirated games online are dedicated servers specifically for the people who have a cracked version of the game.

Yup, accurate gateway casting is a must in chases for Pinhead. The trick is to cast it right on to the survivor, then a millisecond later hit the execute. In that millisecond the survivor has moved just enough away from the casted gaeway that the hook hits them instantly. It's very difficult to pull off if you're a PH newbie. But, once done effectively, PH becomes a strong chase killer.
I main him for a number of reasons: magnanimously, it's nice to be giving survivors something else to do other than gens. They HAVE to solve the box or be punished.
His add-ons aren't that great but the one that lets you see where the box is can be handy as all Hell. Purists like to use the extended gateway casting items so the can cast through walls just outside the terror radius. I prefer not to and just play normally and saving my items for either box location or extra Lament Configuration soliving time.
It's BS that hecan break his own chains on the survivor when walking through them, but every killer has an annoyance about them. Some more than others.

@ThiccBudhha I don't. I really truly don't. The cussing out part was only one of the gripes. End game chat is always toxic. Either survivors quit out after you say GG because they're salty, or you've somehow exploited something because you dained to get a kill on them and how dare you. Just the chat the other day got to me because I was called the trash player because I got a 1k, though I played magnanimously. You have to admit, there is an overriding sense of futlity to it when 4 gens pop after your first hook. A good survivor team can trounce any skilled killer. There's a major balancing issue.

@QueenSaccharine I can't F all about Survivor mains as the experience HAS to be a thousand times worse for a woman. Anything a woman does online in fact gets this treatment.
I'm nowhere near a Christian, but I do follow do unto others.... I would despise it if a killer camped me out, or tunneled me at the start of the match. So I don't do it as a killer. I refuse to add to the feedback loop. All others just saying start playing unfair because they do. It doesn't solve anything. Just puts me as bad as them and continuing the cycle. Besides I have gotten ALOT of 4Ks playing the way I do. But get Seal Team Swf and you've no chance as a fair killer.

@MrsGhostface That's what we all thought with the Pinhead license and the hook tease we got. I even allowed a vain hope that The Artist was Daniel Robitaille. The 6 would have to be upside down with an elongated curve for it to be juice flowing. But we can all hope, though. People seem to think the new killer will be spider based.

@TragicSolitude When I first thought of Candyman in DBD, it hit me that it was just The Artist. Kinda disappointing. Now they'd have to work hard not to make him just an Artist derivative. I can't think of what his power would be but the bees and How'd you work them without them being exactly the same as the crows? They're just a hindrance and added pressure.

@Mooks He's got a voice acting credit in the upcoming Sony Spider-man 2 set for 2023. Possible as Venom but that's up for debate. He did a voice for a character in DOTA but can't find anything more on it.
@NerfedFreddy You can't really denegrate something that doesn't exist. The character is Schrodingers, both awesome and sucky, because this is just a thought experiment.
I personally wouldn't use any other killer, if he were in it. And it has to be Tony Todd not that Abdul imposter from the 2021 film. But gameplay wise, there could be some interesting mechanics. His add-ons would be an easy pick (sweets, mirrors, paintings and brushes etc.) The bees could impair survivors, but instead of the crows, you could have a timer to get them off or you go to the injured (or dying) state. Could have mirros dotted around the map and put timers so survivors have to at some point interact with them and have that as one of the 5 Candymans the survivors have to say. Once all five, either exposed or condemned. His add-ons would either speed up the timer needed to interact with a mirror, or slow down the bee timer. His perks could be something around the theme of his hook hand and the trial hooks, maybe. As he isn't really a walking killer, he'd materilaise like Sadako. And maybe faze in the chases. Haven't put much thought in to these, this is jsut what's off the top of my head.
Problem is, in the movie canon he's described as a vengeful Wraith. So I have no idea what he's be called ALA Pyramid head and The Executioner.

No, the problem here is the definition of toxicity. What OP described was not it. They took it bad a killer kept M1ing them after they got a 4K. Their "argument" was that it was intentional on the killers part therefore their feelings SHOULD be hurt and we should rally behind the little wimp. Gimme a God damn break.

Gen rushing is absolutely a thing. Without Lethal Persuer it's nigh a certainty 3-4 gens will be done within the first chase if it takes 47 second for two people to finish one gen. If a chase goes on with God loops, DH etc, all gens can be done before your first hook within 2 mins of starting the map. That's not fun for anyone. Killers call you gen rushers, toxic survivors call killer whiners. This whole problem with the fan base won't change.

CoH being nerfed again means it's pretty much useless without the Shadow Step that comes with it. And no one wants to use 2 perk slots just for one boom location on the map. I've seen it less and less since the debuff. Almost none now that Legion has been OP'd.

Sounds like you're bad at reading survivors in chase. You got looped to Hell by a decent survivor and it MUST be their Dead Hard, right? Dude, once Dead Hard is used, it's Game Over for survivors, they get exhausted, a hit is only a formality at that point. Chase the survivor, get in close, wait for a DH, if not hit them immediately. This is what every half decent killer in this game does. It isn't rocket science. Grow up and learn to play instead of salting the community with your negativity and insults.

Dude, it's made a SMALL portion of the LGBTQ community happy. More straight people are happy for the LGBTQs than the latter. BHVR did bare minimum in regards to their respresentation. They didn't make a brand new character with perks, lore and cosmetics, they just announced out of the blue out of nowhere that David King is gay... I empathise more with THAT gripe. (personal note: Steve has that sailor outfit and they made the Peaky Blinder gay?)

People don't automatically know their identities. Many gay people will get into hetero relationships because it's just what people are supposed to do, and then stay there in lukewarm dissatisfaction for ages until they figure out why it isn't working for them (and have the courage to be open with it.)
I agree with you about DS, though. Now that it's a pure anti-tunneling perk and not an invincibility shield, it could stand to be a little stronger at what it does. I think ideally, they could make it work for both hook stages, remove the skill check, and add touching the exit gate switch as one of the triggers that deactivates it. Likewise that they keep missing the point of what makes CoH strong with its nerfs and the report system is a joke - putting the onus on players to have recording software is pure bogus.
The recording software comes standard with most PCs and their graphic card manufacture apps. I personally have Nvidia. And it's a button push to hit record. Same for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, too.
Also, the gay thing. I know a lot of people who were previously in a straight relationship before finding themselves, I'm not disputing nor mentioning anything to the contrary. The anger I identify with when it comes to the gripe of the LGBT community is that they just announced that a previously straight character is suddenly gay. When in actually fact it is bare minimum as far as representation is concerned. They could have quite literally modelled a character who's lore has them mentioning their secuality and whatever fashions and perks may come with it. Instead of just pointing at David and going, yeah he was gay all along.
If DS was the be all and end all of anti tunneling, all I'm saying is I've been tunneled plenty without ever having the opportunity to use it. What am I supposed to do after first hook? Wait around to be downed again or run as far from the killer as possible and do gens to escape? Remove the objective cancellation, but I would definitely agree to have it cancelled if the exit gates were touched, or hex totem. Since doing the latter is mostly by choice and isn't a prime survivor objective.
I get that it is simply a matter of sheer volume of hackers as to why I'm still seeing them, it's more frequent than not is my point.
The middle of Haddonfield is now an utter no-go for survivors now. And most of the RNG in the houses are broken as heck. There's a God loop in Myers residence now every single time. There's a totem that no one can get to behind an inaccessible door.
Also, we gotta talk SWFs. I don't agree with banning the ability to play with a team of mates, but remove their comms for God sake. Even the worst players can be like Seal Team Survivors if they've the ability to communicate the entire match. Or maybe take their comms off when their injured, dying or on the hook. I would stand the long lobby times at night if that was more balanced. Also, 10 min wait for survivor lobby, 3 seconds for killer lobby post 8pm. That is the SWFs doing the clogging. Just no fun to play whatsoever.

Thanks for the reply. It mentions in David's lore him previously being in a straight relationship. That was the LGBTQIA2+ issue.
