Hello,
That's actually a great idea.
Call of Duty Zombies have a very deep lore and emblematic characters. They would fit in DBD.
I don't think there is room for a "classical" first-person killer but releasing survivors, killer skins and a map would be insane.
Or BHVR can make an "hord killer" where you play as Sam and manage hords of zombies in some way with a view from above.
I am a big fan of Kino der Toten. Having this map as a DBD map would be insane. But we already have a cinema-like map.
Maybe Origins would fit better since there is no "war trenches" one, and I think would a perfect fit for a horror game.It would be a great collaboration with Activion Blizzard since they just released BO1 and BO2 on PS4/5. Time-wise it sounds great.
Hopefully devs take a look at your idea. 👀

I only played 2v8 this year.
I am really pleased to see it last longer. -
Nice cooking man.
It could have more forbidden actions for the killer to chose through out the game like :
Don't stop running for x seconds.
Don't vault
Don't stun the killer
Don't hold any items
and the list goes one.
It would be really funny to have a Monokuma killer spying on you via TVs and chasing you. -
I would appreciate Danganronpa skins.
Hopefully i will be able to play Mikan and Celestia if that happens. -

That she said everyone on all social platforms said bots was a good idea? Only killer mains wants that so they don't wait 30 minutes in a killer sided game. Queue times are bad because survivors are meat for a grinder.
Totally feel the same.
I play (99.5% of the time solo survivor and just playing killer for archives) as Solo Survivor and it feels like I am just some meaty placeholder for the game. I read what Maddy wrote but this does not change the fact that BHVR just mainly replace solo survivors by bots. Maybe we already played with bots not knowing it was one.
Most of the frustration from the solo survivor experience is made by the lack of communication and QOL features like seeing others perks while playing. Most of my match, i just try to get my archives done. But it feels like if i don't stick to the gen for 20 secondes the game is lost. I don't blame killers for it. But BHVR allowing such a bad gameplay experience on the slugging/tunneling is a terrible game direction.
Nowadays they release more skins in each patch note than actual changes in mechanics or perks. The cosmetic developper team must be huge.
I am starting to regret the 400 dollars and 1K hours spent on this game since 2017. I still watch content creators and lurk each patches to seek for any hope but i don't play the game anymore.

There is nothing to understand from the balancing team.
It's like when they buffed a brown addon which became better then their yellow counter part. -
proximity chat would be very fun.
Seeing screaming survivors getting chased while their sound fades off. -
Say slugging is done because people bring Oaks offering and Saboteur is pretty bold.
-
What i understood from his point of view:
Survivors are just meat for the grinder. They must be running rabbits with 0 fight back power.Killers must be rewarded for playing killer by killing survivors. But "survivors" are not meant to survive ?
I propose that we change "survivor" for something else. "rabbits" ?

Top dbd experience

SoloQ survivor is such a bad experience.
You just prefer to remplace the "void" with bots.
-
Survivors do not want to play on 2v8, so you replace them with bots ???
Don't you consider just changing your game to be more appealing to survivors ?Since it's asymmetrical with 4 to 1 ratio, you need 80% of active players to go for survivors queues.

I might be the only person that likes the way this perk currently works, but this is still a pretty neat idea.
I think it would be better as a separate new general perk, though. Since Stranger Things returned to the game, new Survivors have had 6 less perks to play with than what I started out with. We could do with a few new ones, especially ones that can teach you things about the game when you use them.
Yeah, i wish more general perk would be released.

SoloQ

As a solo and average survivor (1000 hours), I stopped due to the tunneling and slugging.
I get so frustrated from most games. All usefull perks are nerfed because of SWF abuse.
People keep asking to nerf SWF but they don't realise that most nerfs impacts solo survivors experience and new players. The current poll* asked if you would recommand the game to friends.
I would discourage them to play. -
Hope they chance the game mechanics and not just create an underwhelming perk locked behind a licenced survivor.
-
When 2 survivors are left and one of them is put in the dying state: The hatch should spawn.
-
Yeah seems very fun having a swarm and "mimic" killer. It will allow "mind games" by simply faking survivors behaviours just to get closer or let them get closer.
Imagine finding a generator with someone working on it. You get closer and he slaps you right away.

I stopped reading at "8 fake survivors spawn in the trial"
The could barely make 2 zombies for nemesis before their spagetti code started dying... 8 is literally impossible for them.…
The 8vs2 game mod seemed to work well why wouldn't it work for "8 empty husk survivor". Maybe Switch's spagetti hardware might not work. haha

60%+ kill rate and 90 second gens. Yeah, no thanks.
The fact that they balance game around kills and not hooks states or effective hooks (hooking action) is mind blowing.

My main concern with many of these statements is that they place all the blame solely on the players, particularly killers, for employing certain strategies. These strategies didn’t emerge because killers wanted to annoy survivors; they developed over thousands of hours as a response to the current state of game balance. When survivors play at a competent and efficient level, the game can progress so quickly that even securing a single hook can feel like it costs the killer the match.
The solution isn’t to keep patching these issues with add-ons or surface fixes but to look at the overall balance of the game. Fun, diverse playstyles should be rewarded on both sides, ensuring neither is made overly weak while encouraging a fair and engaging experience for everyone.
Efficiency drives the meta on both sides, and these strategies are often a necessity rather than a choice.
I think you are right more strategies is the better. But you can't say that the tunneling and slugging amont we are facing is minor.
Killers need to be rewarded "basekit" for spreading hooks and survivors should have another objectif. But also survivors should have "basekit" answer to most common playstyle (game feature).Survivor side, you just do gens. That's the only escape possible.
Maybe they should rework hatch to be a secondary possible escape (which survivors would need to work for). Back then I used to love finding keys on chest and escaping with some teammates using hatch. -

Nah 4v1 is better, 2v8 is mindnumbingly boring, badly designed and implimented, limited, repetitive. It's a soulless boring dumbed down DBD lite for people who cant play actual DBD.
It's a palette cleanser for a couple days at best, and an excuse to drop the game and have a break until its gone at worse.
"for people who cant play actual DBD" xD
Can't talk about killers' side on 2v8 as i did not play it.
