Happens only in Macmillan maps as far as I noticed

I remember starting the trial as a killer and glancing to the side to spot a survivor on a hill, right next to me. Poor soul tried to crouch
-
Welcome to the patch side switchers club, where every patch a quick analysis shows the "hot" side to convert you till another pops up
-
Isn't the game free for the weekend? Though it would help with queue times.
-
I like the idea, the Passive perks for each survivors could change along the shrine of secrets. Think it would be actually nice having unique survivors as well.
-
Have you tried Don't Starve Together? It's a survival cartoonish game that can be coop or solo. It has a lot o customization on consoles and the steam offers a lot of funny mods. There's even a mod for dbd :
My only issue with this is WX-78 not being the doctor but to be fair, Wilson also fit well the character.
-
If I remember correctly, there's a tecnique which you breath in and try to exale slow and long as possible. The lesson behind this was something along the lines "everyone recieve all kind of emotions everyday, the difference is how you process it"
I test it and it does work but still prefer yawning and eventualy taking a nap
-
For me it works if I yawn and stretch out. About the game, Im trying maining doctor and so far reached rank 3 lol . I like the new pipping system for killers but found survivors being much more demanding.
-
Face look like pizza is the best. Never gonna see him the same way again lol

Hello, I only wanted to say that you're doing a great job. I know how you feel, having BPD and anxiety too the game may look more frustating to us but let me tell you something: thanks to you, people were able to experience fun and judging your score, you didn't tunnel or camp which is really respectful for that you are trying to improve in gameplays and giving chances to survivors to actually survive.
Don't be too harsh on yourself, since every mistake you did is a experience to grown gameplaywise and there's no faster and better way to learn than to actually experience this.
Some trials, you'll see, after a good rewind/review you'll notice there were nothing you could do even if you could change some actions. That's okay too, we are not meant to win every game but if its bothering you so much, I would hightly recomended to change roles or change the game for some time.
But don't let this get you. You provided a good game and even though the survivors don't say it (since is easier to be toxic than to actually knowledge the effort to play "nice"), they surely felt it. If anything, keep on. Should the name of the killer start showing to survivors, you'll know that they'll actually compete to be in tour lobby.
Sorry for the long text and bad english and hava a nice day.
-
A game were survivors would start the trial with infinites flashlights and their goal is to aim at the killer and get many points as possible while the killer objective is to run away from the survs using their powers
-
You stab multiple people feelings without actually killing them. A truly Legion main.
Happy April's Fool =)

If I remember corretly, I was Feng and in my team there were Claud and 2 Laurie with the same outfit agains a Doc. I was sure one of them blonds were going to be obsession, since Laurie without DS is the same as Michel without a mask for me. Ironicaly, both of them died and I ended the match believing the doc have STBFL.
Nonentheless I was glad the gentleman only smacked my rear once :')
-
The killer was the doc and in my team have 2 lauries. Don't remember if they got DS or something...
Thanks for the replies @pootis_Bear and @Milo =)

@Saint_Ukraine let's see if works. Also, have a good day.

Hey, you see people going nuts about Myers, pig, legion and so on. Wouln'd go as far as calling him "Daddy" thought, that just give me chills.
-
Seems like he's under constant torture devices. The business suit skin implies that his headgear intend to provide a great amount of pain and the hallowed blight is just pitiful. I wouln'd say however that he's a victim, if anything I would put him in the sadomasochist category.
My favorite char of the game and I cannot squeal enought when I face him, specially in his business suit. The only killer I actually enjoy being camped while I whisper: "Im the only survivor you need"

Concordo mas gostaria de chamar o Dead Hard de Pai Duro =P

Bu-but.. What about my fellow japanese survivors??

Im training with her on ps4 but don't have this item Q_Q seems great but even if I got this, would feel bad using due to its rarity lol

1 - When looping, make sure you face/body is glued to this loop. This provides better Space management and if you do it corretly, is possible to loop 2-3 times before needing to drop pallets.
2 - When the last gen is completed and there's 2 or 3 of you guys who are afraid of opening the gate, a strategy I use is waiting nearby the killer to patrol and right after push the lever for around 4 seconds if Im not mistake. This will make progress to the gate but won't show in the lights powering them (the 3 red ones). Wait for them patrol again and proceed to completly open the gate =)
3 - Notice where the basement is: the shack is a great place to loop and mindgame but if the basement is there and you're injuried, is just not worth it considering theres a lot of killers who have a strong basement game.
4 - When healing yourself, never go to the corner of the map: there are no pallets or structures to help you if the killer spot you.
5 - If possible, always heal yourself. It doens't matter if is a legion or a 4.4 mov speed killer. Always consider that you're prone to mistakes and having another heal state can do wonders.
6 - If you don't have balancing landing is important to avoid highter places if you're in a chase: your char will always stagger upon the fall, shorting the distancie between you and the killer.
7 - Take tour time before working on a gen: firstly analize your surrodings searching possible loops and pallets locations. Always have 2 ways in case of the killer comes from one.
8 - Mostly important: never get out of your way for flamming people, be the killer or teammate. We get it, the game may be frustating but the moment you get out of your confort zone to spam another people, is the moment you should revise your morals and having a time out of the game. If you don't have something nice to say, then preferly don't.
-
I believe that the problem is that the "circunstances" is at the mercy of the good judgement of the killer...
... I think the DC's speaks for itself.
-
Oh my, I only wanted to share my opinion, didn't mean to change this thread as "asnwered" . Sorry, sorry.
-
Doesn't this involve the religious stuff they said they wanted to avoid? Would be nice having a killer able to possess players though, but I don't think it would work in swf
-
Playing solo survivor does feel a little bit more stressful so I switched to killer for this time being and I'm having a good time even though most games end up being fooling around due to dc's.
-
Speaking in meta, have anyone notice an increase of "Rancor" on builds? Almost every game I play there's this poor soul begging for someone to use DS
-
The Calling (Wii), Fatal Frame and Silent Hill. Gotta watch the gameplay of "welcome to the game", saw some streams but they never reached to the ending

Hello there! After reading your post I couln't let it pass, mostly because that was the way i felt when I joined the game too.
I started to play in December and just like you, I was addicted to it. Would literally wake up early to play and scream my lungs out of fear and laughs. Like you said, the frustation of being camped and tunneled made me want to get better at survivor and don't get caught. After reaching rank 2 at that time, I noticed I got stuck at this rank, sometimes bouncing to 3 and in this moment a realization crosses my mind: in order to be a good survivor, I would have to play killer.
When you play killer you understand why camping and tunneling aren't bannable, though is discouranged and I think that's really nice. This means you play by your own rule, although you do know what they (devs and survivors) expect from you by what the some perks and emblems implies.
People being rude exist in every game and sadly I don't have an idea on how we could improve this matter in dbd. Is ironic seeing people complain about teabagging while they spam their attack on a hooked survivor or when they leave you to bleed out on purpose. Sometimes, the simple act of stunning a killer is enough to make your first hook the last.
What I could say at least is: don't take those things so seriously. In the end of the day, this is just a game and it doesn't affect in anything in my life, nor should it. Maybe give it a time by playing other things, since is healthy having other experiences. Dbd look like Herman Carter's spark: a curse and a gift. Is a awesome game, a masterpiece by uniting the engaging gameplay, good graphics and unique feelings of horror, survival and cooperation. The problem is that there's no game like it, and people stay eve when they have enough

Greetings everyone
First of all, I would like to thank @DAMNFASTDEAD for presenting good ideas with respectful arguments. It made me want to share my opinions as well.
Before reading many comments here, I was also in favor of progressive banishment (it starts mildly and is hardening according to frequency) but there are many points to be considered.
Not everyone has a good internet, equipment or is in control of the environment, meaning that often the DC was not intentional. In these cases, banning them is not a matter of temporarily taking them out of the game, but rather creating a sense of injustice, developing a playerbase with resentment and being more likely to abandon the game instead. I would also like to say that since the DLC was released I am disconnected from the host several times and for various reasons and if I remember correctly, the last time this happened was right after they launched the Legion as well.
I noticed that there is a lot of discussion whether this game is casual or not. Why does that make a difference? In order for you to achieve a wide range of gameplay, it is necessary to have several perks on several levels. In my view, this requires a lot of bloodpoints, which implies a heavy grinding. As a survivor you have to play a lot to get at the end of the match with few points. It becomes frustrating to have to play 3-4 matches to level a bloodweb of level 50 and WGLF seems to promote unsafe hooks.
The gameplay of the killer influences more we can imagine in the behavior of others. An example of this is if the person is caught and tunnelled to death, with no possibility of doing anything. It's almost certain they'll leave the match. I have seen several times a survivor dead at the end of the match with 3400 points and what can you do with it? How to convince this player to stay in other matches, wasting time and not earning bloodpoints at all? I understand the side of the killer, it needs on some occasions to put more pressure on the game and to take someone else is very valuable, in the same way that I have seen this being used with 5 generators left.
My proposal: increase the gain of bloodpoints for everyone or reduce the price of items and perks.
Increasing the bloodpoints that survivors earn is an incentive for them to make goals and want to stay longer in the match. However, I don't believe it should surpass the killer points, for that the last have a great amount of pressure.
For killers: Bonus of 1000 bloodpoints for each DC.
For survivors: bonus of 1000 bloodpoints + 2x bloodpoints for any other interactions from the moment someone disconnects like repair of generators, totems, etc. + 0.25 speed of interactions. I believe it is necessary to give a boost to those who stayed, as a way of encouraging not to disconnect and compensation for having one less member.
That being said, thank you for your attention and let's focus on how we can contribute for an enjoable gameplay for both sides, without needing for punishements.

Quentin. Whenever I look at this dude, I think : "4:20"
-
Out of 7 matches as a survivor, 4 was obsession without obsession perks
-
Gotta love other beings than bipedals
-
Im in favor to anything that buff the doctor, only because I'm fan and also to have more buff in other parts than the muscles... Deeem muscles ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Came here looking for this holy amount of billys and was not disappointed
-
Heeello. Did you guys watched "Hush"? When I saw the movie, I though the killer were a wannabe Ghostface, but then I noticed some similarities with the Legion =D.
The killer have a tattoo on the neck, stab multiples time a victim, seems to be a young adult, is merciless and is average in height.
Through the entire movie I was like: heeeeey that's Frank alright.

Hello, I would like to share my opinion about Legion.
I'm both rank 1 killer/survivor, should this information have any value, so let's start.
When I have to play Legion, i find games a little bit more difficult actually than any other M1 killer, and in my opinion it's hard to get a solidity 4K. Also, from the 3 times I played, no one dc'ed which surprise me, since you guys make it seem like it's a quitter party points.
When I play against Legion, it feels like I can actualy endure more time in chases and it's super fun to stun the killer in the right moment they decided to use feral frenzy, making them lose their power for some time. Oh, there was 1 time when the killer did the moonwalk and I quick went in front of them to not let them break the chase. In all honesty it was fun: the killer didn't want to reconize me, while i run in front of them like "notice me sempai!". Only one time they have the Franks Mix Tape but they downwed me because I also did a mistake (even if not, its okay, not all Legions have this add on). Also, no dc's from my teammates in solo queue and I can say it have increased the amount of Legions on PS4. By the way, I noticed they rarely get a 4K as well.
Im not sure how this thing of "unfun" even begun, I have a feeling that if people actually play against them, they'll see it's not hard to win, and the "unfun"part is really subjective because the moment you run into a killer, the question is not if you're going down, but when. By that logic, going against a nurse of any killer that can mind game you is also not "fun" since they will get you eventually.
That being said, I'm really excited to play Legion when the thanatophobia buff release and I wish best regards and good games for the people here =)

I always liked to play survivor but since waiting times on console can past 10 minutes, I did try on killer and oh boy.
The match barely starts and I feel everything is on fire. I do have a lot of trouble in losing survivors in a chase, and I can feel my anxiety building up alredy in the offering screen and it doenst matter if I did good or not, i feel emotionly drained after a couple of games especially after recieving a harassment or hate messages.
People say to grow a ticker skin or to not really give attention to this kind of behavior but those things do build up and if Im not in a good day, makes me drop the game for a day or so, being content in watching streams for a while.
I dunno, killers can be powerful but the amount of pressure they have to take makes me wonder if they are even being rewarded properly.
-
I can't believe I created an account only to share this feeling.
As a survivor, I started running bond to avoid bringing the killer by accident to a teammate but frustation started to build into me when I found Every game someone would be urban evading in a corner of the map. Lost count of the matches were I died cause I tried to get BOTH of us out while this player would rather be in a locker or behind a tree, waiting near a hatch for my death .
Because of that, I made a rule myself were I would never give the survivor a hatch as a killer, for that i don't know how much you did for the team. Also, I removed Bond from my build because is better for me NOT knowing somethings in order to keep my patience.
