I love playing shaman Hag. It plays into her core strength of map defense very well.
Instead of Haunted Grounds, I'd tech in Huntress Lullaby though. Ruin + Lullaby = nothing's gonna get done, and even healing is going to be real nasty.
Teching in Franklins Demise instead is also a good choice, especially when the survivors have lots of items or a flashlight.
yeah lullaby would be frustrating for survivors on top of ruin lol
i dont have a problem with flashlights with this build with the amount of pressure you out on survivors you can just slug one and smack the guy waiting to flashlight save. might save the downed surv. but you can hook the flashlighter.

Hag does not need Mint Rag to destroy survivors. She is a very strong killer and can end chases very quickly. I myself have never used Mint Rag on her.
no but when you do a hex build built around thrill of the hunt. you need mint rag to tp across the map what ever totem a survivor is trying to cleanse. its like the prayer bead/ thrill of the hunt spirit build.

I played the game over 5k hrs
if Im tired of rng spirit I just leave and have a way better time in the match one minute later. So enjoy your ez game as killer (and I know that it doesnt feel satisfying enough because 3v1 is bs) and the others can also enjoy their lifes I dont care. Im here to have FUN
and oif the killer is just boosted af I'll leave by killing myself on the hook. or if the killer denies I dc.
It's not about git gud
It's not about my poor teammates I left in the fog
It's about having a good time. (not by bullying the killer in a toxic and unbalanced way)
So bbye spirit or 50 meter hits, 20 second after I fast vaulted, bbye any toxic behaviour.
So many games I got tunneled by omega blink nurses, then got slugged for 239 seconds, got grabbed until the EGC timer was running out, just to hook me last second. And what did i do? I got found that's all.
So yea, ######### you Im out.
this is more in regards to the person who dc's on their first down/first hook or if the killer finds them first.

Dear salty killers when you DC because they are SWF you aren't going to get better doing this and you are not doing yourself any favors. You just make the game easier for the survivors to win. and the bps of the survivors suffer. Plus you just end up looking like a POS.
Thems facts

I agree, that odds should be even. My idea behind all this is just that, if Killer spots you, you simply messed up. When killer spots you, he should not chase you ALL around just to HAVE A CHANCE to catch you up. Thats non-sensical in my opinion.
We need a bit more balance, and killer being actual threat. This game turned into action, for both sides, not a horor genre.
What i would like in the future is more hiding spots like was in Friday 13th ... Beds, Stables, curtains etc. etc. The survivors should not outrun you, but outsmart you. Thats in my opinion the main issue. And having "CORE PERKS" to win is not ideal for me ... I like variety and experiment, this disallows it and make future balanicng super hard.
Also NOED is bad :P
i like your idea.. but noed isnt bad, its a means to counter but i digress lol

I respect your opinion sir. Now to counter-argument if you allow. The slowing down perks are Overcharge and Ruin, ruin can be EASILY countered by any good team. And it still dont slow game much. Problem is not in slowing generators. Problem is in killers being so slow especialy in the looping againts survivors. Increasing the generator repair time, just would make it much more tedious and annoying.
Survivors have windows, pallets, smaller hitboxes then killers so they can loop a bit faster then Killers can ... Thats the issue. At least in my point of view.
Thats a fair arguement, and the counter to that would be noed and blood warden.
But you're not going to win every game, you're going to run into teams that stomp you every now and again. Its just part of playing.

The 3 killers are good they could get a change in the ptb so i dont get why youre saying that 1 killer perk its good since most of the dlcs they gave good perks for killer just let the survivor have something since the good survivor perk that i ever seen it was david perks and thats it
idk man surge and the one that blocks windows seems alright as well, but over all the Surge perk might be a meta changer on the killer side.

But I’m not. All of Steve’s perks are worthless by themselves and there are already pre-existing perks that are far better than any of his (that do a similar job). Nancy’s first two perks are not that good either. The scratch mark one COULD be but they’re needlessly restrictive with it; making it only see your scratch marks and only being able to fast walk while not being injured. I can guarantee you that these perks (besides Inner Strength) will not be used outside of the first two weeks of release unless they get changed.
The killer perk that blocks vaults is going to be good because it only creates a bigger dead zone for the survivor, and if there’s no pallet they’re pretty much #########. The gen one is going to be annoying because it’s another slow the game down perk (which we don’t need more of). The exhaustion one is going to be equally as annoying because it’s going to waste your time if you want exhaustion back. All of the killer perks are going to be better than you think.
nearly all perks are useless by themselves. lol most killer perks need to be paired as well. not counting hex's but hex's can be destroyed easily. the game in its current state, is more balanced than its ever been.

@sirnewbington I've used this build before and it worked well up until I faced a killer who ignored me altogether after realizing what I was up to. They killed off the rest of my team instead, before slugging me to death by smacking me everytime I fully recovered.
yeah that's a thing too lol or a killer with iron grasp. but statistically you help prolong the game and make your self nearly impossible to hook.

Man if only, if you let on loopers, they will start looping you again. YOU NEED to get a kill and hits, otherwise you will lose eventualy. You cant endlessly push on generators, because you cant protect them all at the same time thats the issue.
i disagree, with the right slowdown perks, you can postpone gates for awhile and kill off the weaker survivors. then you can mess around with the loopers by this time its typically you vs 2 survs, and ill happily take the 3k if i can catch one of these loopers slipping.
i will admit, outcomes may vary against a 4player swf.. played one today that was just awful. theyd break hooks with me feet away and flash light me into oblivion lol. still got a kill and a pip tho
-
no mither, boilover, sabateur, deliverance
i can say as a killer.. this perk set up is frustrating as all hell. lol cant get a surv to a hook, and you cant slug them, because they get right back up

4? I wish we got 4 decent perks, we only got one (Inner Strength) with the others being good in concept but horrible in execution.
i think you're grasping at straws, survs def got 4 solid perks that will combo great with existing perks. killer literally got 1 well rounded perk.
mind breaker could be good.. its a situational perk that really only works if someone with sprint burst or lithe are found at a gen.. otherwise its a dud.
-
lots of pessimism here. both new survs have some solid perks
Baby Sitter promotes altruistic playing and allows you to see the killers aura while the unhooked surv doesnt leave scratches.. they can straight up dip out of dodge..
Better Together is LITERALLY a killers nightmare because it promotes gen rushing, particularly for solo survivors.
Fixated give you an edge on the killer by seeing your own scratches allowing you to mind game the killer, assuming you're not an utter potato.
Inner strength adds incentive to do totems, giving survivors an easy counter to NOED which yall gripe about religiously.
Congrats.. looks like survivors got a solid 4 decent perks from the DLC,
Killers got surge tho.. RIP Ruin meta haha
-
looping is just a thing you deal with as a killer. the thing is.. dont get baited into a loop. learn the maps, learn the loops and know when to cut your losses, play against the objective and put pressure on gens . never let a survivor tell you where to go. they will punish you.
-
Right? Ive never seen BBQ in the shrine 😂
-
sorry to be the pessimist here, but the devs were probably like "yea sure, lets go with that." not to say the devs dont care about building lore, its a large part of the community, but yeah.. i dont buy into it.
-
because thats the victim mind set man lol

“Bloodlust is a bandaid mechanic that rarely comes into play”
Cant tell if serious or joking 🙃
The majority of the killers I’ve faced want to ignore breaking pallets because they know they have bloodlust at their disposal. Because they would have otherwise not succeeded in catching me.
Face camping is the modern term for Proxy Camping/Waiting behind a wall camping/Pretending like they are leaving but turn right back around camping. Nobody that uses it today is referring to the old way killers camped.
this "face camping" is just taking advantage Insidious. its a strat, however sweaty and cheesed it is is irrelevant. if devs didn't want killers doing it, they wouldn't have implemented it as well as other stealthy addons and abilities into the game.

i just want to see its Mori tbh lol

every rank reset I get to purple or red ranks in the first 2 weeks of playing trust me it’s doesn’t get that much better after rank 15
i think the difference is that at red ranks you're running into the seasoned killers, who are generally really good, and will play to punish survivors after an encounter with the dreaded sweaty SWF.. it's me. im the vindictive killer *laughs in salt* lmao

Sure lets do it! *laughs in killer*

OK I’m almost 100% sure you don’t play survivor as much as killer cause if you did you would understand once you’re on the other side of this when it hits
Admittedly i do not play survivor as much as killer 2/3 of my play time is definitely killer. But, on both sides of the playing field i have good and bad games. Get your killer in low green to purple ranks and tell me how "OP" killers are. Survivor really only sucks when your in brown and yellow, because you got crappy survivors that typically just dont know what they're doing yet, and/or statistically more toxic killers.
-
or.. you learn how to play to a survivors strengths and git gud rather than think killers need nerfed even more. killers are fine, freddy is fine, legion is trash lets move on shall we?
-
i mostly play killer, yet i understand the hatch is an equalizer mechanic. 1v1 a survivor doesn't stand a chance against a killer. so the hatch is that mechanic that puts pressure on both killer and survivor in the last minutes of the game to find it first.. typically the killer has a leg up because a decent killer is gonna have an eye out for the hatch when he is in chases with the remaining survs when the hatch spawns. but.. no surv regardless of skill level is going to out play a killer 1v1 if they have even 1 gen and a door to open. all the killer has to do is find you and chase you till you mess up..

"Hello, fellow Survivor. Oh, him? That's just...a mannequin I put on the Hook for decoration. Yep."
I buy it.. that odd looking survivor seems like a trustworthy fellow
-
ive said it once, ill keep saying it till i see it.
The Body-Snatcher!
ability: copy the appearance of the last survivor you hit
-
steve's perks..
- It's Fabergé Organics, - releases hair spray attack on killer on first hit
- punching bag- insta spawns next to killer to get beat tf up
- ahoy captain- can see killers aura from the boat at blackwater
-
I take the salt and gather it.. if i get three games of salty comments i bring out an ebony mori and ruin some poor survivors' game. Then we reset. Its all fun to me

That's literally the point of the chase music. it's purpose is to make you not be able to hear anything.
I'd say thats a broken design. No killer... ok maybe ghostface.. is going to inner monologue chase music. It destroys the ambience of the game imo and gives the survivor another leg up against the killer.
-
@Kycer said:
I really hate that they gave us the chasing music again.. the game felt much better without it..
Thank you! It ruins the experience as killer ,like.. how am i supposed to hear foot steps and the groans of my victims if im listening this stupid music. Devs should drop it.
-
Metal of man, such an annoying perk.. i understand it and i know its not OP or anything like that. Its just very annoying when all 4 swf are running it with dead hard.. oh well lol
-
There is no benefits at the season end for being high rank.. so there is no incentive to be in red ranks unless you are trying to play as sweaty as possible. I personally like to balance in the low yellows and high greens because they're just more casual ranks to be at. I can play any killer i want to on any given day and not be worrying about getting absolutely crushed. On the survivor side id say yellow ranks are garbage.. green is the sweet spot for finding competent team mates and statistically less toxic killers
-
I use a set of AKG's 700 series.. but.. they're over kill to be put lightly. A decent set of single driver, quality headphones would do just fine. Dont buy into the gimmick of "gaming" headphones. The multiple sound drivers in those headphones would give you false directional ques and tend to distort sound quality when the sound moves between drivers. You can get some decent entry level akg's, sennheiser's, audio technica's , etc for competitive pricing. Just gotta do your research on what you're looking for.
-
Doctor mostly
-
If it was against a ghostface i kinds get it.. it makes his ability completely useless. But, a good killer would just play through the pain.
-
Dont play for ranks, play to have fun

Did you even read what they proposed? Ebony mori stays the same and they grant bloodpoints to everyone. Plus no one depips... While everyone still has the chance to pip! And NOED wasn’t even mentioned??
I dont like that idea, at all. Dont get mad at a killer for using whats in the game. Should just make devour hope a casual perk while were at it.. Lets be real, if you are using a mori you are likely running noed.. i do, but i run noed and mori after particularly frustrating rounds lol
-
Ghost Face, pop M2 and mark survivors and watch them freak out and run away from the gen they were working on.
-
The Body snatcher, what the legion should have been. M2 changes the killer to look just like the last survivor he/she came in conact with.
-
I like it, implement it for survivors as well and you're on to something!
-
No, swf can all bring in engineers tool boxes with brand new parts or insta heal med kits, my ebony mori & noed is perfectly fair. Sorry, not sorry.
-
@NMCKE said:
*SWF intensifies*
It would still be a great idea because even with SWF they would still need to waste time confirming who can be trusted. The killer would need to take the appearance of the survivor's cosmetics to make it look believable through.
The body snatcher killer! Takes the form of any survivor he comes in contact with, gains their trust then bomb! Stabbed.
-
being a killer now isnt hard, in the early days of DBD before the big survivor nerf, being a killer was a pain in the expletive.
-
I've been noticing ultra rare everything spawning in blood webs more often. but also, your blood web is for a maxed lvl P3, right? you should be getting rarer items in your blood webs like that. It's one of the perks of prestiging

Even better idea:
If you're playing against a SWF group, everyone starts the game downed and you get a free ebony mori.
i think you're on to something here
-
When i play plague, i dont even touch vile pools unless there is one gen left. Its not a neccessity to win. Its just an edge up in a clutch situation. You wanna loop me? Fine, im gonna infect every pallet and window near you and just wait till i see you again in the open and in the broken state. Then ill punish that booty.
-
Or these could just be legion skins, because its essentially the same kind of killer
