Mad Grit is a fun way to discourage survs from bodyblocking like that. Saves me from having to drop em, and most SWF groups are vulnerable to getting themselves killed for each other in endgame.
Whenever the gens are done and more than one surv is alive (and especially healed) I always expect some attempts at teamwork anyway.
I am aware but that wasn't apart of my build, mad grit is really a niche perk, sure it can come in handy but the moment surviors realize your running it, it becomes useless because they won't bother to body block anymore, if you can keep this hidden till end game it could become an asset but for the most part its niche.

Very sad to think like that.
I don't need to "think like that" because that's REALITY. You must either not be a killer main or be new to the game and if you are new to the game(less than 500 hours) I envy you for that because you haven't experienced what I have over the years.
It's NEVER been about "working as a team" for solo cue survivors, the fact they save each other is for their benefit alone because if you die on hook, the odds of them coming after you next are that much higher and they get big rewards for a safe hook rescue. I know from personal experience on this one, if a survivor has a chance, they will work with the killer faster than a coin flip if it means THEY get to escape and you're the only two left.
In SWFs its all about "How can we tilt the killer the most?" be it bringing perks like "head-on" boil over, ect, all the make the killer's game as unfun as possible and end it all with a 4man teabag at the exit gate. The difference between solo cues suddenly going sweatlord at end game for the 4 man teabag chance to rub it in the killer's face is SWFs make this a priority and coordinate on coms to ensure it happens.(voice chat is OP in this game) while doing everything they can to tilt the killer and laughing at your expense every chance they get to their teammates everytime they get a pallet stun or make you whiff.

I mean, whats your point? The Survivors are trying to prevent you from hooking someone, they are working together. Nothing wrong here.
And while I do think that at some point Survivors have to accept that they cannot have 4 Escapes in a game (let alone each game), I think when the end result is a 1K, they at least tried and did not get more people killed with that. (Obviously it is a complete fail if they turn a 1K into anything more than a 1K)
(Same with Killers btw. who have to accept that they cannot 4K a game or every game and who lose Kills because they were too greedy in Endgame)
Your missing the point, when surviors sweat that hard to get everyone out, its not about "working as a team" to them its about being able to brag that they 4man escaped, all four of them get to teabag at the exit gate, and brag the killer sucks because they couldn't sac one of them. It's not about points, its not about "Gotta save my teammate cuz its the cool thing to do!", it's litle more than to tilt the killer as much as possible.

Listen up nowhere to hide is for terrible killers. Like you cant find survivors so you use the perk and it plays the game for you like it is op no cooldown nothing you just kick gens and see all survivors like crazy to me if survivors had a perk like work on gen for 5 secs to see killer for 5 secs and keep regetting on the gen killer mains would be going crazy.
This is a joke right? A bait post? You CAN NOT be serious!
Hiding is a survivors GREATEST STRENGTH and something they are VERY GOOD AT especially lingering just out of sight or carefully circling that tree as you search behind it praying you give up without doing a full 360 degree check or hiding in a jungle gym.
It's incredibly hard to find survivors without perks like nowhere to hide and said perk exists to punish survivors who linger too close to a gen.

So.. you're mad at people for body blocking to prevent you from hooking and instead of forcing your way to the hook, you drop them and complain about sweating because they get picked back up?
quite the opposite actully, i'm not mad at all, i'm actully laughing my ass off at how hard they sweated for a 4man escape they never got!XD
But go ahead, try to play it off as if im actully "mad and butthurt" if it makes you feel better even though its just your imagination.:P

Low kill rate can simply mean killer is difficult to play.
High killrate can simply be, because they are soloQ/noob stomper. Or killer is easier to play as than against, which was the case for skully.
Well, some survivors liked to claim Chucky is very easy killer to play as and near impossible for soloQ to win against, so what can be a reason for low kill rates? It's because killer with low map pressure got his chase nerfed…
-
Sadly everything we're suggesting here will never happen but on the offchance it does, let me pop off with another suggestion in line with the 3rd suggestion by spiteful:
If survivors are hanging in the exit gate and not leaving or within 15 meters of the exit gate, after 30 seconds 4 glyphs appear at random on the map and don't despawn even if the survivors leave the exit gate.(this timer is cumulative so the survivors can't just leave the exit gate for 5 seconds and go back into to reset the timer)
If the killer finds all 4 glyphs(each glyph grants 1000BP and a temporary 10% movement speed buff to ensure they can find all the glyphs) within the time limit of EGC, it triggers the following event:
The ground begins to shake violently and the yellow fissures turn blood red, the survivors now have 5 seconds to leave and any who don't scream as they are afflicted with exposed and the exit gates are blocked.
The killer now is given the ability to teleport to the exit gate and mori any survivors they down, if the survivors manage to loop the killer for an additional 2mins the entity steps in and instantly sacrifices the remaining alive survivors.
-
It's because they nerfed his dash speed into the ground, like overkill into the ground, he's barely faster than a survivor running hope in end game. This has made a once A-tier killer plummet from grace. No doubt all the survivor mains who couldn't figure out how to counter him are rejoicing while those who could already counter him smirked and went "he's GG EZ now".

I thought you to be a toxic Survivor because you were white-knighting them by downplaying being toxic at the Exit Gates
Im not white-knighting, Im giving my opinion.
Bleeding out is just objectively worse than t-bagging in the Exit Gates, and it solely comes down to player agency. Killers are able to stop to t-bagging by forcing them out, they arent forced to wait 2-minutes. Survivors dont have any agency if they get bled out, and they are forced to wait the 4-minutes.
This being said, both are still horrible. One can be worse than the other, but both should still be looked at because both still can persist as an issue.
Personally, I think BHVR should create a perk similar to Blood Warden that discourages t-bagging in the Exit Gates. Survivors can still do it if they want, but they risk being punished for it, so it naturally trains the players to avoid doing it or they will risk dying to the perk. Blood Warden trained players to 99% Exit Gates to avoid it, even if you only see it 1 in 1000 games, so think of what a perk could do to train people not to BM in the Exit Gates.
My idea is a little more on the point, if the survivors are in the exit gate or just outside of it(within 15 meters of the door in any direction) and stay there for 30 seconds during ECG doing nothing, the entity shoots a tendral out of the ground and swipes at the survivor(s) in an ark that forces them out. If they somehow evade the first one another will spawn and strike at them until it gets to the point they either lose a health state or are forced out either way, they never get to teabag you and if they have the audacity to continue to hang around slugged then the killer can just walk in and pick them up and no, they don't vanish if the survivor leaves in exit gate and back into the trial area.
With this in place the survivors are forced back into danger if they REALLY WANT to teabag you bad enough and lets face it, most survivors aren't going to risk a 2 or 4k if they have a chance to 4 man escape and rub it in post chat.

Think of it as the grand final mindgame of the match, the survivors want to be toxic and teabag you at the gate and it comes down to who gives in first, does the killer give them the satisfaction of being teabagged or does he suffer being held hostage for 2mins, either way, the survivors "win" in this regard which isn't right.

It's just as irrelevant to the discussion as the argument made by Killer players "that slugging to chase another Survivor mid-match is a tactic" in a thread about "4 people bleed out slugging" or "slugging for the 4K."
You know what. Yeah. Im willing to admit that there is a time and place for posts like that and my comment was neither in the time or place.
It really didnt add much to the conversation and I kind of just posted a nothing burger.

Odds are you deserved it for being a toxic POS
Very rarely do I get upset the game nor do I get upset at other people.
I will admit that Im not perfect, but I always try and remain conscience of how my words or actions affect others. Only twice out of thousands of hours of playing have I gotten upset enough to say/do something and most of it was just talking in chat and saying stuff that I heavily regret, mainly since it's just a game and there was no reason for me to take it seriously. While it definitely doesnt justify anything, again, keep in mind that these are very rare occurrences.
But in most my games where I am bled out, I did nothing, I looped the Killer, I went for unhooks and took Protection Hits for the team. I just played how I would normally play, which is for the team. I dont bring meta perks in most my games. Sometimes, just sometimes, people bled me out for reasons beyond my control. Maybe they are having a bad day or they just want to do it because they think it would be really funny to make someone else upset.
You have zero agency to leave in ECG until you get the chance to be toxic as hell and teabag the Killer otw out, and if you dont get that chance you hold them hostage for the entire EGC timer out of spite, because they wont give you the pleasure of being a toxic POS.
Except I dont do that?
While in the Exit Gates, I am given the agency to leave anytime, and I do just that, leave anytime, often when it is necessary. I dont tbag in the Exit Gates, I dont waste the Killer's time out of ego or toxicity.
Often when I do wait for my team, it is not out of toxicity, but so I can take a Protection Hit to help them escape, or heal them at the edge of the Exit Gate to prevent the Killer from picking them up instantly. There are strategic reasons for doing such, and if there is no reason for me to stay, I just leave.
As a Survivor, Ive witnessed my teammates teabag otw out or wait at the Exit Gate for the entire EGC timer
I do see that sometimes and I really wish people wouldnt do it. There is nothing that is gained by players from doing this other than inflating their already large ego. I play both sides so I know what it is like to be on the other end of things.
But, in the same response, I also have the question your one-sided viewpoints.
Killers can bleed Survivors out if it is "deserved" (according to you, me being bled out was deserved and it was justified) but Survivors cannot t-bag in the Exit Gates because it is "toxic" (something you are heavily against). You even went as far as to instantly call me toxic and make false assumptions/allegations about me to make these points.
I don't hold double standards, if the killer was genuinely toxic to you during the match "slugged you for no reason"(and no, slugging you to keep pressure on the team is NOT toxic), performed the back and forth motion implying their buttscrewing you, or tunneling you out for no reason(aka: You have no flashlight and thus can not be a flashlight jesus or are not running a troublesome perk), and you weren't toxic at all during the game, then teabag the hell out of them for all i care as they deserve it for being toxic first.
Though the tunneling you out one can be debatable on if its toxic or not depending on the circumstances. And yes, I thought you to be a toxic survior because you were white knighting them by downplaying being toxic at the exit gate.

If you get so triggered by someone pressing the crouch button in a video game, maybe you should play something else
Be sure to tell that to your kid when the other kids on the sports team are bullying him for not playing "good enough" i'm sure it will go over really well.

So what you saying right there is that it is not OK to slug to death the survivors, but it is fine when they waste and annoy the killer's time if they not force them out?
Basic slugging many times is a strategic choose, and you can loose the game without it. Standing for 2 minutes and tbagging in the gate and wasting the killer's time is just purely toxic
Dude, i'm getting the feeling were talking to brick walls, as much as i'd hate to reinforce the "us vs them" mentality, is obvious they just want to excuse being toxic survivors and at this point are just trying to find weak excuses to downplay it.

Uh, the main difference is this: The survivors can't do ANYTHING to you in the real world. A bully at school most certainly can do a variety of terrible things. And, you know what? Fighting back is sound advice to people being stepped on. Most certainly worked for me. So, yes, I will definitely give that advice to someone I care about.
And yes, this is just a video game. If you see it as someone equivalent to real life torment that affects school performance and one's physical wellbeing, you are delusional and need to stop playing the game for a little bit.
Yes, I stand by the fact that if you suck less at a video game, you'll be taunted less. I find it difficult to call tbagging at the exit gate 'bullying'. The only thing in this game I'd ever call 'bullying' would be much more skilled players abusing the inexperience of a lesser skilled killer. And even then, I'll still say it's of bad taste comparing it to something that had dire consequences in the real world.
There's no fixing people being petty children online. Lest you want to moderate EVERYTHING. Best thing you can do is see them for the infantile nothings they are. Or beat them.

It is of extremely bad taste to compare being bullied in person with nothing you can really do about it to being taunted in a video game by people that you don't know and should have zero impact on your life.
Get over yourself, it's in no way of the same magnitude.
Extremely bad taste? Dude, in what world is it any different to mock a kid for his weight or lack of skill in school and to mock a killer by teabagging them at an exit gate when you fourman escape? You're being a bully in both scenarios. And when killers come to complain on these forums about toxic surviors teabagging them what's the general response?
Oh that's right, "Git gud" or "skill issue" their statement of "be sure to tell your kid the same thing when their being bullied at school" applies 100% to this "just a video game" as you call it. An irresponsible or uncaring parent would tell their kid the same thing in more or less the same way. "Get better at standing up for yourself then and you won't be bullied"
So in what world is it any different to tell a killer to "git gud" and to tell a bullied child to "Get better at standing up for yourself" neither solves the problem and just gives both bullying parties an excuse to bully the child or killer even more because no one is doing anything to fix the problem or stop them from bullying.

Based on past PTB to live releases, you'll have to forgive me if I don't quite believe you.

Except the two are very different.
As Killer, if I see Survivor t-bagging in the Exit Gates, it is annoying, but I can force them out. I, as a player, am given agency to end things faster. Depending on the situation, it could even result in an extra hook/kill. At maximum, if I dont do anything, it will take 2-minutes, but I can actively choose to make it take 10-seconds.
As Survivor, if I am being bled out, there is no agency, I cant speed things up, Im forced to wait 4-minutes. I cannot DC because Im hit with a 5-minute DC Penalty, I cant go next because the Killer is actively choosing to not hook me and let me bleed out, to put it bluntly, there is quite literally nothing the Survivor can do to shorten the amount of time wasted.
It is dumb how both scenarios exist, where the opposing side can waste your time because they want to, but I think it is objectively worse to be bled out as Survivor due to how the game is designed.
All of this is ignoring the fact that not everyone sits in the Exit Gates to BM. I normally sit in the Exit Gates to make sure my team gets out or to take a hit if needed. I dont BM, I leave when it is clear that there is no reason for my to remain in the trial since I dont want to waste peoples' time. Meanwhile, I get bled out in a decent amount of my games for basically no reason. Part of me thinks it solely has to do with "pay-it-forwards culture" which is its own can of worms.
Don't give us that BS if your being slugged, odds are you deserved it for being a toxic pos unless the killer is running a slug build then well… "sucks to be you". You have zero agency to leave in ECG until you get the chance to be toxic as hell and teabag the killer otw out and if you don't get that chance you hold them hostage for the entire EGC timer out of spite because they won't give you the pleasure of being a toxic pos.
As survivor i've witnessed my teammates teabag otw out or wait at the exit gate for the entire EGC timer, I report them everytime i see one doing this no killer deserves to be mocked with the non-verbal equivalent of: "Haha you suck! GG EZ!"

Seriously, this is annoying…
I dont waste my time going to the gates to do nothing besides watching teabags, the devs must do something about it.
Survs complain about killers letting them to die on the floor but killers suffer the same thing EVERY SINGLE MATCH they dont kill at least 3.
A few solutions could be ONE of those:
1 - Alucard's shield baseline for all killers. (kinda fun for everyone)
2 - If a surv get hit inside the gate area the exit closes for that surv for 5s. (like the Houndmaster).
3 - Put an option to end the game for the killer to use, just like they can open the gates themselves.@Reinami said:

Make it only work if they are hanging around the gate for some number of seconds. If a survivor is inside the gate for say 8 seconds, and gets hit by the killer, it should block the gate. This wouldn't impact normal gameplay, because it only takes you 3 seconds to leave from the entrance of the gate.
I like this idea but lets face it, that just means they still get to teabag you at the exit giving them the satisfaction of being able to be a toxic pos at the very end and leave a little sooner and we can't deny them this satisfaction if we try to wait out this timer at the exit gate because they'll make sure to always leave before it triggers teabagging you otw out and typing "GG EZ" in post chat.

Blaming cheats because some one else is playing well or because you made a misplay aint doing you any favors. I know Aven has been around for a while and Im confident they are more than capable at sniffing out a cheater if theyre trying to be subtle
Can say the same thing for myself. Seen all kinds of cheats since Ive started playing in 2017 and racked up well over 6k hours. Theres no doubt they exist, but they arent nearly as prominent as some claim
Please don't white knight cheaters, they don't deserve it. I'm not blind nor am i vain enough to not admit when i lost legitly so i'd appreciate it if you'd not treat me like butthurt kid who got owned by a skilled group of survivors and went whining to the forums about it.

I have 10k hours in DBD, I know what to look out for. And I am not saying that I never encounter cheaters, I have seen some very subtle and not so subtle Cheaters.
Not so subtle —> When spectating an Ace they were mirrowing the movements of the Killer perfectly while also being way too fast (it was a Deathslinger, but he still reached Bloodlust 3 and did not really catch up at Shack). And when the second to last Survivor bled out the Cheater was heading straight to the Hatch.
Subtle —> Encountered a Survivor who was always JUST making the Pallet around a Loop. In Postgame I also have seen that they have Hyperfocus (and only Hyperfocus) which can be an indicator as well.
But outside of those two, I have not encountered Cheaters in months. And this is why I think that recordings are important, if you think something is not going the right way, record and have others look at it as well. I know this from other games which have an automated Replay-function that it clears up a lot.
Well maybe I just have the unfortunate luck to run into them more often then. Regardless at least 1 or more matches I play as survivor or killer involve at least one cheater.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
"And lastly, NO I did not record this because if I had to record every single match I played on a daily basis my HD would be filled to the brim within a week and I have far more important things to use my HD space for."
You dont have to record every match, but you can start recording when something suspicious is happening. This would be the only way to a) report it and b) show it to others so that they can either say "Yep, thats cheating" or "This is not cheating, this happened". Without it, I would always assume it is not cheating, because it is far more likely that something happened which you did not realize or understand than you running into an actual cheater.
Not denying that Cheaters are in this game, Cheaters are in every game. But from my experience, it is really unlikely to run into one.
You most likely have and have not realized it, subtle cheaters are NOT stupid, they make sure their cheats are subtle enough to make even the most perceptive of players not suspect foul play at work. You have to pay VERY CLOSE attention. Is that survivor running just a little too fast without any perks to let them do so? DON'T ASSUME they are just corning that loop really well, PAY ATTENTION! In a general chase assuming your pathing is on par, you can get at least one hit on a survivor average in about 10 seconds or less unless they are in a jungle gym. Are they somehow keeping distance from you even in bloodlust 1?
Did they somehow vanish without a trace when you're 110% sure you there was no way they could evade you in a loop or jungle gym? NEVER ASSUME "Oh, I must have just lost them."
You do this and you'll begin to notice cheaters ALOT more often. Only reason I notice half the time is because I'm constantly looking for suspicious behavior from survivors because I trust them not to abuse mechanics or not to cheat as far as I can throw them on a killer whose NOT Wesker.:P
-
@KerJuice said:
Possible Smurf maybe? And or great with check spotting.
Do you remember what perks the teammates were running? Any Wiretaps or that new Invocation perk that lets them see your aura for disturbing crows?
If you suspect someone of cheating like that again, drop chase and punish the other 3 with every dirty tactic at your disposal.
I kicked the gen in the area prior to chase so if there was a wire tap, it was broken when i kicked. As I said in my OP, no aura reading perks that would let them see me or predict my moves on any survivor.

@Grigerbest said:
There are cheaters, no doubt.
But… You know… If they don't hold you hostage - just shrug it off, report them and move on. Developers are the ones who should take care of them.
It should not be your concern, and you have no power to deal with them, but making the report.
It's more about raising awareness. Most DBD players still play under the Illusion that cheaters only target streamers or as an excuse by bad players due to believing they either don't exist or are not as big of a problem as they actually are.

No, killer was tunneling me from the get-go, I'm guessing the killer got lucky enough to be cued in with a few of his stream viewers or something like that because less than 20seconds after i'd join up with a fellow survivor, myers would be on me and at least two of the other survivors actively tried body blocking me to slow me down when I made great distance.
