No, because you're bad at the game.

I'll take the account penalty. I'm laying on the ground for four minutes. I'm not sitting in bullshit lobbies to lay around in bullshit games. I'll just unplug the internet so it registers as a loss of connection.
-
Moris are point killers. I'm not willing to wait in a lobby just to use a mori for a quick game. It seems an enormous waste of time. I also think keys and moris are just too easy. There is no fun in them.
-
Seems like you're complaining about a non-issue. It's really unimportant what they bring. If someone escapes with a key, move on. If you lose, move on. Just like when killers say it isn't their job to make sure survivors have fun, neither is it the job of survivors to help killer have fun. The toxicity of this game has been the only constant since day one and that will continue. If you dislike that, you have a problem with the core of the game and the community.

You like to be overly dramatic, don't you? Honestly, by the way you express yourself the victim role that you're trying to take suits you well. I like that you introduce the topic about paying for something that is completely free and then complain for having to use a perk for one game. Also, out of curiosity where did you get the data to estimate that you're of the majority and I'm part of the minority on this topic? I'd be interested to see that. Opinionised people like you that for some reason assume that everyone should think like them are so difficult to take seriously.. You have no credibility
Pot, meet kettle.
-
If they listen to every single voice, then nothing will be done. Want a buff? Well some want a nerf. Want things to change in any form, some want it to be the same. That said, these times are not built to be done by all of the community. It is cutting off lower tier players from the lore and creating a difficult inaccessibility. Instead of making the game more playable, it does the exact opposite because everyone in the match is trying to constantly do these difficult challenges while the rest of the team suffer. It makes the game so much less fun.
-
Yeah, when I pay for something I expect it to completely change into a product I didn't pay for. How entitled those people who bought the game are. What outrage!

No it is bloody not needed all the time.
As I've stated in previous posts you have to go out of your way to blind or head on a killer you could simply just not do it.
Contrary to popular belief you don't need to bring a flashlight into a game and for the most part unless you have a plan on or you're trying to do a coordinated save wasting time staying in a locker just for a head on stun isn't beneficial to anybody.
Also it is not impossible to just drop the pallet early.
You could also simply not kick gens, or run ruin, or slug a ds player. You could simply not play the game if we're getting to the brass tacks. "Just don't do it" isn't a valid response. It's part of the game and needs to be taken into account every time. Sorry. You're wrong.

It's only extremely rare until people realize it's good, and then it's not. Take old Decisive Strike for example. Getting hit by it once wasn't a big deal, but when all four survivors started to run it because it was a free second chance every match, then it was a problem. We'd rather stay in front of problems like that and stop them from ever happening, not wait for everything to go wrong and then react.
Which is why good perks can't exist for survivors. Instead, we spend money for good perks that are nerfed after released or refuse to buy the dlc and face the fact that the game has fewer worthwhile additions for one side. Survivors are valued by perks since none of the characters actually matter and are just skin changes. When the community begins to whither because of the undeniable bias, you won't be able to feign surprise. The writing is on the wall.

If camping and tunneling are fair game, so is tapping. Can't have cheap play styles for one but not the other. Get over it.

Scratched mirror myers
Yeah, but with my headphones I can hear him breathing. Especially because the killer usually takes us to maps with ambience that doesn't do much to cover it up. Also, I have yet to face a scratched mirror Myers that poses a challenge. I'm on console so the pool is shallow.

Damn. Prayer beads were the only jump scares I got from this so called "horror" game. Oh well, another killer that's boring to play against. At least they're consistent in that way.

Rest assured this piggy is playing normally the challenges will get done but not at the expense of those I play with or against I think people act like it needs to be done with in a day or two that's the problem mainly I see.
Just want to give thanks to you red ranks I've had the pleasure to play with on ps4, I nearly made it so been vrsing alot of you guys thanks to reset and playing more than normal.
I've had some truly wonderful messages saying thanks for the fun matches and no tunneling camping etc it shocked me greatly to receive positive messages it means alot ??
Keep it positive remember these challenges will come be respectful to those you play with and against and have fun in the fog.
?
We need more of this in the community. What a rare and beautiful thing.

That idea is equivalent to killing the game. It's a GAME and playing with friends is part of it's lifeblood. I can't tell you how many people I've heard say that they won't play solo survivor whatsoever. If you want the game to die, this is a great idea. Another good idea is to just stop being so sweaty about something that doesn't matter once you turn it off. I play against swf all the time. It's fine. If this is ever enacted, prepare for killer lobbies to take forever. Devs have already displayed that they have no issue with voice chat. Fog Whisperers do it all the time to the knowledge of devs. Just like the perk Better together proves that gen rushing is a legitimate strategy.
-
Make prayer beads ultra rare and the Father's glasses very rare. That will alleviate a lot of issues. I think maybe survivors are underperforming. The current pip system and matchmaking certainly don't help that situation. I'm a red rank survivor and I know that I have no business being there. I'm, in reality, on the skill level of a low purple at best. Also, I play swf with a few newer/less skilled players most of the time. My main friends are a rank 13, 12 and 17 and that definitely skews the stats on an overperforming killer. I'm not saying matchmaking is broken but it certainly doesn't help when determining the efficiency of a killer.
-
This community is disgusting. Killers and survivors. What a shame that a video game makes everyone so salty.
-
I just ready up and play. I don't care what they bring or what their level is. It's of very little importance.
-
I feel like the equivalent for insta-heals is exposure perks/powers. Just get rid of them. No insta-downs if no insta-ups.
#byemike #ghostfaceistrash
-
I have no problem against Spirits. They're fun, even with the prayer beads (but Spine Chill helps tremendously). I think it just comes down to people not wanting any kind of challenge. You shouldn't nerf a powerful character in a game, players should learn to adapt to survive. I'm sure if the devs just made prayer beads ultra rare and the Father's glasses very rare, it would fix a lot with effectively zero nerfs.
Also, infinite Freddy is a fun challenge that I enjoy facing. However, I'm normally getting hatch because of DCs. It's why solo survivor is hit and miss. With swf at least I know there won't be intentional DCs.
-
No nerf needed.

The joy of playing with friends shouldn't come at the expense of other people's fun. When a killer runs into a good SWF group, they have no hope of victory. I often see killers just disconnect when they run into a Rank 1 SWF group.
And it's difficult to have fun with friends when your opponents immediately leave once they know that you're playing in a group, wouldn't you agree?
That's on the killer for disconnecting. That's not a development flaw. Just bad sportsmanship.
A good group shouldn't be punished for being good and having buddies. A rank one killer has plenty of opportunity to score high in a four man swf. If a 4k is the sole way to win a match, yes that will be difficult. It's not though. Scoring highest is also a victory. The thing is, there cannot be punishment for playing a game with friends. Even if you're good.
-
I've said this in
@Williamz said:
4 man SWF will full meta perks and items straight up make it unplayable and it's frequently happening more. There needs be a big nerf to SWF.
Buffing solo is completely the WRONG decision.
I've said this in other posts but I'll say it again. Nerfing SFW and penalizing people playing a video game with buddies is one of the quickest ways to lose survivor players. You think killer lobbies are queuing long how? Just wait until the "nerf survivors" train reaches a breaking point. Playing a leisurely game with your friends should never be penalized.
-
No. If you stack too many cards against survivors, there will be less people who play survivor. Nobody wants that. Keep up the Chase and use perks to slow progress. Even at a high number, there are players who take on the role of being the distraction and this would hinder those who do. Maybe a hex perk could do it but there would have to be some reasonable perimeters.
-
It really depends on who the killer is. Lery's is a generally good killer map but can be harder for Plagues and Hillbillies. Azarov's is an awesome Ghostface and Pig map. Coldwind can hurt killers unless there's a huntress or hillbilly.

It's not an Alert nerf, it's a nerf for the way more opressing perk OoO.
OoO only works on bad killers.

They should probably fix the consistency of the stalk reveal first.

Just because you buy a game does not mean you deserve all it's rewards.
Just because you buy a movie doesn't mean you deserve to watch the whole thing.
Just because you buy food doesn't mean you deserve to eat it.
Just because you buy a car doesn't mean you get the transmission.
Just because you buy a book doesn't mean you deserve pages 32-38 and 120-165.
Just because you use your money on someone's product doesn't mean you get access to all of what that product offers everyone else? That's bad business practices and triple A studios have suffered for that in the past.
10 days would be a great compromise for those who work. Especially because they spent some of that work time to purchase this product. They traded time of life essentially yet the devs can't give them time to grind.
-
Why use ruin when you could use pop goes the weasel and have a better perk the entire trial?
If ruin is base, adrenaline should be as well. Or Spine Chill. No perk should be added to the base kit on either side. It eliminates the resource management aspect of the game and brings down the QoL. New players would have a tremendously difficult time with ruin and many would probably just give the game up.
-
It was such a weird perk for Michael. The other two require the obsession to live while old DL made it necessary for the obsession to die. It lacked any kind of synergy. That said, waiting for a lobby for ten minutes only to be tunneled down in 60 seconds tends to make the game significantly less fun. Less fun equals less players. This game needs both sides to be fun and winnable for everyone playing or else the game dies. Some perks need reworks to achieve that. Just like the mettle of man rework, so too did DL need a change.
-
Because people would rather something be nerfed than to have to actually learn. That's this community for you.
-
My username has never made as much sense as it does in this thread. Obviously the game should just be four survivors walking around while unable to do gens and killers with no attack. There are counters for everything, it's all just a matter of practicing and getting better. Spine Chill for this spirit build. Spine Chill ist the best perk you aren't using. It works on stealthy killers too. Plus it can help clutch a gate escape if any killer closes the hatch. Spine Chill to save. Taking the meta out would make the game blow.
-
Also they need to fix survivor's bloodpoints disappearing when killers DC.

Survivors be like :
You tunneled all 4 of us ur bad.
Uhhaha okay then. Guess im not allowed to attack anybody? The survivor community is hilarious
And survivors shouldn't do gens. The DBD community as a whole trends toward ridiculous.
-
The Spirit and Freddy pretty evenly.
-
Ash is my biggest regret. Between him and Ghostface I've gotten nothing from the purchases. I buy mainly for perks and I use none from either character. I don't really like using Ghostface either because his stalk reveal is a bit broken so it sometimes feels like I'm cheesing it if I get a 4k.

Just play hag since they cant nerf her cus she is already too weak. Once BHVR nerfs every killer the hag will be the best killer.
The Hag has the highest kill rate on PC. Hag is amazing for those who know how to play her. For those who do not, she can be tough. The worst killer is the Clown. He needs a Freddy like buff. Nurse is fine, however, plenty of ways to win. Just tweak the add-ons.

What are you even saying? The game is balanced around purple and green rank survivors. That’s why I’m saying what I did above it’s to fix the actual problems with the game not nerf Nurse, because everyone can’t deal with a killer that’s good. Like I said rank 1 in both buddy, the top 1-2 % of survivors should win the majority of games against non nurse or spirit killers.
You didn't do anything to balance it. All you did was change things that add any level of challenge to the game in order to take that away. I'm also saying that maybe you can't handle the heat of high ranks so maybe regress so that things are easier for you. Nobody should or shouldn't win as an assumption either. There are too many variables for said assumption and only someone who wants a victory handed to them says something like that. Sorry man, but in this case of trying to balance a game you've only managed to make suggestions that cripple long term mechanics and make the game less challenging.
-
Getting camped is almost like a confirmation that you were certainly better than the killer. I say, if you're camped all sacrifice points should drop to 0. No rituals can be completed for sacrifice and survivor action is 5% faster.
-
So you are basically saying that you don't like the game because it's hard and makes you strategize builds? Maybe try F13 where the perks don't matter and you can engage in mindless play. All of the perks you suggested fixing are fine. You may just want to try regressing back to purple ranks because red seems a little too much for you. Hey! Maybe, per the type of suggestions you made, the killer should only have to hit you once with a hard stare and survivors should start with the door open.
-
I run it because I play distraction. I bring a flashlight so I don't really use medkits and I don't want my team wasting time healing me either. That said, I also run adrenaline, balanced landing and spine chill so I guess bad killers would call me toxic. If you don't want to be toxic, don't run sc or any other perk. If you want to play a game where you take tons of hits, SC is fine for that.
-
Still complaining about this perk huh? How tired.
-
The game just needs to remain fun for both sides. It has to be winnable for everyone and should provide challenge (to which killers are often opposed, sure). If one side stops being fun to play then the whole game crumbles because you can't have one without the other. Maybe the community should just play the game without getting so uproarious over whether they have to win every single trial. I mean, it is just a game. It's not important in any way at the end of the day.
-
They're fine, you just aren't.
-
You got outclassed. Simple. You couldn't handle being outclassed and quit instead of take an L. You can't win every trial. Nobody does. Sometimes people are just better. Want an easier killer experience? Try Friday the 13th and it may make you appreciate dbd some more.
-
If anything, I'd say there was a killer bias. Also, surviving is still less likely than dying according to the stats so I don't see how you could possibly be complaining because you can't insta Mori someone who's just playing the game. Everything one side does is toxic to the other. DS? Toxic. Exhaustion perk? Toxic. Noed? Toxic. M1 Billy? Toxic. It's asinine. The amount of salt has me surprised there isn't a community prescription for Lisinopril. Now there are complaints because BPs are getting more even? Christ, where does it end? Is the only goal making sure nobody else has any fun in a VIDEO GAME?
-
Sadly, on console she just isn't that great. I've put in so many hours but still can't get her down. It seems a common issue for console users like myself. If we want to use a character with nurse like satisfaction we're stuck with the Spirit. She's super fun though so I don't mind too much.
-
Have you considered just getting better at not being looped to Oblivion? Or is it a common trait among killers to cry for nerfing when something is hard? They've given killers every handicap they can, if you still aren't able to win maybe try Friday the 13th. I hear that game makes it very easy to play Jason.
