Ok, I’m an Xbox player and have the gen1 Xbox, so dbdl was always a little laggy. But after this update, even on non upgraded maps, that lag is so bad on killer that it’s not unplayable. I was just sitting and thinking and then it hit me, y does spine chill seemingly have no downsides? Then it hit me, we all know old ruin so I don’t have to explain it. Skill check reliant. If the killer was looking at you, a ten% increase in skill checks and 10% smaller was not good, especially for newer players where hitting great skill checks is a challenge. I’m rlly proud of myself. I have wanted this game for years and I was finally allowed to get it at the beginning of April, with all of the quarantine going on. And in two months I hit rank 1 survivor (only rank 8 killer atm) Ik how to 360 and loop and my friends are astounded that I got this good this quickly. We have all been there, struggling on the hook your sitting there spamming that button, key whatever and bam! You get impaled by the entity and your game is over. It’s the worst when you’re spamming it and somehow you still die. I play on Xbox 1 and started to notice in games that when channeling abyss to see killer instinct, it doesn’t come up sometimes (even when portal is activated) I was channeling abyss then a gen was completed, THEN I saw the people, even though they were on top of the portal the whole time. Ok, I would say I’m a demo main, love the character and the high skill ceiling, but throughout yesterday and today I’ve noticed when channeling abyss (on an activate portal next to a gen) it’s not showing the heart beat 100% of the time when the survivor is working on the gen! Let’s face it, the once amazing Metal of Man, is now a meme perk 😂 The nerf was warranted, the perk was insanely good, but rn even with protection changes yah have to go out of your way to get the value. My proposed change, two ones actually 1- if you take a protection hit while already injured, then go into dying state, you get two stacks. In my opinion rank “reset” isn’t a “reset” at all. I only lost 3 survivor ranks and 2 killer! If I really tried I could easily get that back in a day, then I’m stuck sitting, chilling, for the next month. Can’t they make Rank reset harder like it used to be so it’s TRULY a reset? Ever since Dbdl mobile was released, me and my friends(playing survivor) have been seeing a crap ton of rank 20s, when the rest of my friends are red rank and I’m the only purple. Like yesterday we played 5 games and THREE of them were rank 20! I would rather wait longer for a match that’s fun and not De pip because we gen rushed and left. ATM I’m a rank 6 Survivor and a Rank 8 Killer. I would say I’m decent at the game, but I only got the game A couple weeks ago. I do solo Q for survivor and sometimes with friends, I but can’t help but notice that I hit these ranks relatively easy. As a survivor (not main I’m an even split on both) playing up against the spirit SUCKS. You have no indication of if she is phase walking or not, and it leaves for very little counter play.
