  • Howdy, this is a simple topic; as many of you may know, Shelter Woods is the oldest map in the game, it was first seen during the betas of the game during Spring of 2016 and it's never been changed as much as it probably should have. Though it belongs to the MacMillan Estate realm, it doesn't share some of the elements that other maps of that realm share, such as these filler pallets (ignore the

  • Hello, In regards to fixing many of the issues we have all been encountering (especially on the survivor side in terms of Bullsh1t Hits®) I have a quicker, better and simpler solution as opposed to what the Game designers thought of (reworking the entire movement engine of survivors in a way that makes their movements predictable to the server). The solution consists of showing more information

  • Hello, Today I'm here to talk about something that has been mentioned several times without anything really being done or even thought about it: rewarding people for ranking up, both as killer and as survivor. The idea is simple: a player that is on Rank 1 will gain some bonus Bloodpoints and/or Iridescent Shards for every time a Pip is earned, the bonus is increased if 2 Pips are earned. The b

  • Hey guys, I know this might sound mindblowing but I found an actual reliable counterplay to genrush after years of research. I came up with an efficient method that is probably the very only one that is actually likely to work ever. What you have to do is basically start the game, retrieve the IP address of the survivors and track down their position. At this point, go to each of their places

  • Hello people, I'm here today to explain what my idea is to rework WGLF (We're gonna live forever), a David King Unique perk that uniquely involves the survivor's bloodpoint gain, without any additional feature to it. So my idea is basically reducing the cap of maximum tokens to 2, each one of them should be worth 50% of the bloodpoints. Tokens should be given by: Safe Hook Rescues Killer Gras

  • Hey, serious post about Decisive Strike. I would like to share an idea for a minor rework on Decisive Strike; albeit I do appreciate the way it's not always as much of a free out-of-jail card as it used to be in the past, there's still some situations in which I believe that some killers should not get stabbed with it when they in fact are or should get stabbed when they in fact aren't. Before

  • So I was just thinking: can we take a moment to appreciate the removal of the Switch Role button? That overpowered piece of crap was really ruining the game, I'm so glad that you may now comfortably make your way back to the main menu with some solid fps drops and select the opposite role, that's such a beautiful experience, sometimes you could also get an unknown error too and I love mystery sol

  • So I've been playing this game for quite a long time and the Macmillan Estate map "Ironworks of Misery" has always been in. How comes I always dammit miss that window vault when I'm looking behind myself at the killer? To clear off I don't always rely on infinites, but when there's nothing left around I can't do anything else, at most I could let the killer catch me and that's not ideal ("Or is

  • I recently started using Vigil again to test out how it feels, and yeah, it is definitely not worth it to use it for how it is now, so one really simple thought that I had about it was to make that 20% bonus apply no matter what. Now, before I explain better, I would like to point out that I don't want to specifically refer to cases in which you're the perk holder or in which you're being give

  • As the Winter Solstice Double Bloodpoints event demonstrated to the community, In its current state, WGLF is a debatable perk because of how much it still encourages farming survivors off the hook and yolo-saving in general by tanking lethal hits just to gain as many tokens as possible. The old intervention that developers made on this perk: Patch 1.7.0 - 14 September 2017 This chan

  • This game has evolved since 2016, it's nearly 2019 now, I hope we can all understand that Dead by Daylight loses all its sense and fun when it comes down to camping. I'm tired of wasting my time, items, addons, offerings and rank pips into games where I get caught for a single mistake (which sometimes could be conditioned by the game itself) and that's enough to get me punished to death by any

  • So, I had Pro-Pain hammer equipped, and after restarting the game Claudette found out to have a good potential in being a killer's weapon. Not sure on why this bug happens by the way, but now when it comes down to examining the image that we can see instead of the actual hammer that I had selected, what shows up is a default Common Claudette head, which everybody (but Billy, apparently) owns

  • Tunneling and camping have always been debated but they start deserving a little more attention now that survivors got nerfed in everything and that we would be given limits even in taking a #########. It's time to give some importance to the harsh experiences that survivors have in this game as well as it's been given to those that the killer had, and one of these is to deal with tunnelers an

  • Hi, as the title says, I don't understand the change to the pickup animation that made it 3.0 seconds long rather than 4.3 like it used to be. Since I know that the flashlight has been mentioned as a reason to this change, please let me tell you that they couldn't take a worse decision. If what high rank killer mains are currently concerned about is gen-rush, then nerfing more and more any fe

  • Hi there, I've been recently using MLGA to monitor my ping towards the host along with the ping towards google (my internet is not the best, so I want to immediately know if it's me or the host lagging). The thing with it is, it has a feature about blocking players and giving you the possibility to dodge their lobbies since you would know from the lobby rather than in game. I know that devs have

  • Hi there, I would like to share with your guys my idea on how Decisive Strike should be nerfed. I'm assuming that, for the next mid chapter patch, the planned nerf for Decisive Strike is already scheduled and will be about the Broken status effect, which is pretty much the No Mither effect: you can't heal after escaping the killer's grasp. I might be wrong about that actually, because I reme

  • Hi there, I haven’t followed the latest DbD dev streams recently, and I don’t know if I missed this one or not. I know that back in November, devs were asked about this and they seemed to have plans for the future about reimpementing the Common and Ultra Rare rarities for perks, which were long removed because of Bloodweb issues with them. If anyone knows something about it, it’d be really apprec

  • Hello there. I'm learning how to play the nurse right now. I have been playing her before and after 1.9.0, and then left her completely till now. I'm quite sure that the experience I had acquired back then is already back to me and I'm still training. I can of course tell apart when I'm supposed to blink and when I'm supposed to walk generally during the match, but more in depth about chases,

  • Hello, I'll start saying that I'm actually a survivor main, but I find it ridiculous that to cancel the regression caused by a 2 seconds animation from the killer it just takes one tap to the generator. This is really not helpful against the genrush. As a minimum thing, it should take 2 seconds of repairing to stop the regression, but I believe that the feature itself should be buffed. Regardl
