At the risk of opening a can of worms... (because we all know how these threads like to attract the "less than helpful" posts) We have 30 survivors. That's a pretty sizable roster, and covers a diverse selection of individuals, different ethnicities and religions, and now, sexualities too. Statistically, it would not be unusual for there to be 2-4 other non-heterosexual characters within that nu236 comments 3,182 views last activity

Survivors, when Pyramid Head is refusing to down you, or hook you, because you're not tormented, please just stand in his goo. It's taken me 4 games to get this daily ritual done. Will genuinely let you all escape. Thanks.14 comments 191 views last activity

When attempting to move to the Current Tome from the Seasonal Tome using R2, I get the error: ARCHIVES ERROR The requested action cannot be completed Then hitting circle kicks me out to the character or main menu. I'm literally stuck on the Seasonal Tome, and I can't tab past the Current Tome to the Rift either. This has been happening for the past three days, I have rebooted the game an0 comments 1 views last activity

Make map offerings secret. Being aware of a map offering before loading into the game doesn't provide any useful information. All it does is allow people to DC during the loading screen so they can save their add ons/offering. The amount of time wasted queuing up for games only to have someone play RPD and get us all stuck in a 5m loading screen that results in a game over is very significant.4 comments 41 views last activity

This is coming from a 90% killer player; the recent Hatch/key changes went too far. The hatch is now exclusively used only by the last remaining survivor. Which means bringing a key is virtually pointless. Most "killer mains" would be absolutely fine with the hatch spawning after all generators were completed, while still be usable by any and all survivors left in the game at that point. Unhook a Survivor who unhooked you earlier in the trial, do this 10 time(s) . Must unhook them safely. This challenge is seriously overtuned. This scenario only presents itself every 5-10 games, and then that's just one time. You have to do this 10 times! That's an average of 50-100 games to complete this challenge. First you need to be hooked early in the game. So great, you're throwing the3 comments 41 views last activity

Adrenaline, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Sprint Burst, Borrowed Time, Iron Will... meta perks you see in just about every game, how can be shake things up and get other perks in there? [1] Hail Mary First things first, two of those perks are exclusive already, Dead Hard and Sprint Burst. Why? They're 'Exhaustion Perks', perks that trigger a status that prevents the use of any l5 comments 81 views last activity

Could this next update and the accompanying changes be so bad that it destroys DBD, igniting a worldwide rebellion against the gaming industry, rallying millions of otherwise sedentary manchildren to take up arms against the ruling classes, causing global anarchy and the downfall of civilisation? It seems to be a distinct possibility if some of these topics are to be taken seriously.6 comments 141 views last activity

This perk is mostly useless. It only affects basement hooks specifically, and only marginally increases the speed at which survivors are sacrificed. It could be repurposed as a useful anti-camping perk with just a little tweak as follows: When greater than 32 meters away from a hooked survivor, Hook Progression is accelerated by 5/10/15 % . If the hook is a Basement hook, then Hook Progres0 comments 11 views last activity

There are now 95 survivor perks and 84 killer perks When the game launched, there were approximately 30 survivor perks and 20 killer perks. Every year adds 12-15 perks for each. In another 2 years there will be ~120 survivors perks, and ~110 killer perks. For established players who have already caught up with the perk grind, this isn't a problem, but for new players (and the game2 comments 91 views last activity

Gens speeds are simultaneously too fast... and yet too slow. Rather than messing about with the speed itself, address it where it counts. Early game gen speeds are the most controversial, the killer can't be in 7 places at once, but at the same time, can pretty much know where the survivors are going to spawn. This suggestions would address that, slowing down initial gen speeds, while also makin0 comments 31 views last activity

Balance between solo play and SWF is a hugely contentious issue. You can't legitimately 'nerf SWF', because SWF isn't a guaranteed buff in itself. (I play with friends and do far, far worse than I do solo, because we suck at communication and tend to distract each other more than help each other win. But it's more fun, because it's with friends.) SWF isn't an instant benefit, or a guaranteed w7 comments 91 views last activity

This is still a little rough around the edges, and just a first draft kinda thing, but it stems from the idea of an Alien killer. Obviously a Xenomorph is a widely sought after licensed killer that we're likely never going to get, but it got me thinking of something that could fit better within DBD's format and aesthetic. This guy wouldn't look at all out of place on Coldwind Farm for example. I1 comments 41 views last activity

Bitter Resistance Survivor Perk: When hooked, for the next 20/25/30 seconds, if the killer is within 24 meters of the hook, your entity progression is reduced by 50/70/90%. The killer can see this effect as a debuff on their UI. Rationale: Basically, an inverted Camaraderie. If the killer camps the hook, they will need to wait longer for the survivor to be sacrificed, giving the other survivor0 comments 21 views last activity
