I understand that people will always camp and tunnel as long as it’s the most viable/low effort way to win, but can we please get rid of the unhook notification or at the very least get rid of it for mobility killers? I’ve watched so many people literally drop chase with an injured survivor, just to go back and tunnel when they hear the notification. Efficient? Yes. Very lame to play against tho.89 comments 2,262 views last activity

I would genuinely like to understand whether the devs expect this to be an enjoyable experience? I would also like to understand why there isn't some sort of measure to prevent playing the same killer 3/4/5 times in such a short span of games. Honestly, this is my biggest issue with the MMR system. Just because I can play halfway decently in solo q, it doesn't mean I want to face the best sweat24 comments 704 views last activity

Has everyone caught on to the fact that once a generator has been kicked, you can effectively just hold the gen for 4 seconds, let go, and then the regression timer starts over? This means you can basically make it so that the gen can never be kicked (obviously gen regression/blocking perks that don't require kicking the gen still work). This can become extremely strong mid to late game once all8 comments 351 views last activity

I’m really curious as to why it’s not painfully obvious to the devs that this will make games absolutely horrendous once this is optimized.11 comments 191 views last activity

I don’t think it’s good design for a perk to basically be “run calm spirit every match or have the killer know where you are at almost all times”. At least with bbq, it requires the killer to win a chase and down the survivor. At the very least, the cool down needs to be extended if the activation requirement is going to remain so easy.93 comments 2,012 views last activity

I don't know when this trend started, but I can't count the number of times someone has accidentally sent themselves to second phase attempting to kobe when I'm literally right in their face trying to unhook them. I just lost a game because someone did exactly this and the whole team ending up dying shortly thereafter. Please stop doing this.2 comments 81 views last activity

I only play solo q when I play survivor. Since the last patch, I've fallen in love with We'll Make It. It's so satisfying to heal my teammates with We'll Make It + medkits right under the hook in under 8 seconds (also a direct counter to the sloppy butcher meta). I've found that one of the best ways to punish tunneling, is if the unhooked survivor is healed as quickly as possible so at least they16 comments 371 views last activity

I find this to be very strange. By tunneling/camping at 5 gens (and winning), you are artificially pushing your MMR up. And what is the end result? You end up facing more difficult competition ie more coordinated swfs. So sure you will stomp solos and mid level teams for awhile, but to what end? You hit that brick wall and then you'll be stuck in the same type of miserable games that you have bee21 comments 562 views last activity

So if you play both sides, by now I'm sure you have faced a SM that sits on a 3gen from the start of the match and then does not chase outside of the area. Then add the synergy with the gen kick meta and the result is the game stalls and becomes a stalemate where the survivors are essentially forced to give up/run in and give a free down/kill in order for the game to progress/end. Background: For years, I was exclusively a killer main. However at the beginning of this year, I wanted to give survivor a real try (solo) to see if I was merely blinded by my own bias. The short answer is yes I was. Now let me explain. Killer Experience: As a killer main, I probably win 70% of my games at this point. However, whenever I lose, it generally feels disproportionately bad. This is l10 comments 391 views last activity

My experience so far tells me that the biggest change is that I now have to think a bit about my loadout as a killer. However, other than that, I feel like the survivor meta will simply be gen rush (Prove Thyself & toolboxes/bnp) + speed boost chase/exhaustion perks like Spring Burst and Lithe + endurance perks like off the record. I've started to come across more and more swfs where the whole team has these equipped and at times it feels like chases are pointless because of how much time it takes to even catch up in the first place. It's as if people are doing their very best not to actually have to engage in real chases. Not sure how to actually work around this against teams who are effective at it. Context: Let's start off with what NOED actually does. It removes 1 health state. survivors can stack second chance perks to get 3/4/5 extra health states throughout the entire game, but then do not like when 1 health state gets removed during egc. Here's how I would fix NOED: each time a survivor uses a second chance perk, NOED gains a token (no longer a hex). If you want to benefit from havin16 comments 191 views last activity

I'm still genuinely confused as to why survivors get a head start by spawning right on top of gens if you don't run corrupt. There are times when I question why the game doesn't just start at 3 gens to complete because the first 2 gens will almost always pop regardless of what you do (unless the survivors are absolute potatoes). I could understand if one survivor always spawned within the line of9 comments 251 views last activity

Can someone please advise me how I could have performed better here? 2 downs with corrupt/ruin up and still lost a gen. Make it make sense please and thank you. *Edit: For those that are unclear: the purpose of this post is to discuss how the average killer (I am above average so this is not about me) is supposed to keep up. I 4ked this match. My concern is for less experienced killers and why t88 comments 1,081 views last activity

For all the gripes I might have about being killer main, subtle cheating is by far the most depressing. I can play around annoying perks, swf etc but nothing can be done if someone is cheating. I just got done playing a game where I suspected something was off because one of them were just a bit too fast, but they didn't fully reveal it until I was about to Mori them (then they pulled a disappear8 comments 121 views last activity

I see a lot of threads about nerfing camping and giving solo queue more information so they are closer to swfs, but I rarely see what people are willing to give killers in return. I'd love to hear your ideas (with the exception of just buffing ghostface/legion - not trying to hear that at all lol).96 comments 1,772 views last activity
