  • TLDR: SWF vs. Solo -- Give survivors an Aura Reveal Button; Show survivors' perk loadouts when a match is loading Lack of Time for Killer -- Rework the BLOODLUST mechanic to reward good killers Tunneling/Camping -- Give survivors a new status effect -- DETERMINED I apologize for the long read, but I think it’s worth it as after playing the game for over 1,000 hours over the past three year

  • Victor has shined more light on DBD’s slugging problem. I play both sides so I understand that the way the game is set up now, slugging is necessary at times for the killer to win; it's just soooo boring for the survivor. If any change is made to slugging, something needs to be provided to the Killer as compensation – for example, an End Game Collapse equivalent at the start of the match. It

  • Right now, there is no reason to run Premonition over Spine Chill as Spine Chill is up 100 percent of the time and also gives an action speed boost. Premonition needs to do something that Spine Chill can't. What's that? Become a team information tool: -------------------------------------- You have the undeniable capability to sense danger. Get an auditory warning when looking in the direc

  • I came up with this idea for a perk after reading the post by @DudeDelicious about not being able to avoid killer instinct . ----------------------------- Of the Shadows After not being in a chase with the killer for 150/135/120 seconds, the perk activates. You are immune to aura reading, killer instinct and perks activated by your physical presence. (e.g. Whispers, Territorial Imperati

  • I started playing Hearthstone late last year, and one concept that I think DBD could take from the card game is the restrictions it puts on certain cards for deck-building purposes. For example, as long as your deck has no duplicates, then this card gives you X benefit. I think DBD should use this concept too because it could lead to some interesting perks that couldn't be created in the curren

  • Please make one person the obsession in every match regardless if the players are running obsession perks or not. As a solo survivor, I feel I'm forced to run Decisive Strike, in case none of my teammates and the killer are running Obsession perks, so the killer doesn't get a green light to tunnel away. I'd like to come up with more fun builds, but it's not worth taking the risk and having a

  • Curious to see what your guys thoughts on this are. Decisive Strike is a very powerful perk, and there have been countless discussions on how to make it more fair. Now that the active ability button can be used at dropped pallets to stand them up, I thought of this idea. To activate Decisive Strike, hold the activate ability button next to a pallet to destroy it and create a wooden spike. Th

  • Why not simply give him a horse? Press the Secondary Ability button to whistle for your ghost steed. Move around the map quickly for X amount of time. Has Cooldown. Fits the cowboy theme. Solves the map pressure problem. Everyone happy.

  • What do you think of reworking Mori offerings to turn them into an alternate game mode? ----------------------------------------- My idea for this game mode → A clock is on the top of the HUD and ticks down. When the clock reaches 0, the exit gates are powered. Mori offerings now do the following and are no longer secret: Cypress Mori -- 10 minute timer Ivory Mori -- 10:30 minute time

  • 1. Boost the max amount of BP per category to 10,000. That's a potential 25 percent boost in BP, and 10,000 is a better number than 8,000. So many survivors and killers now ... Some more BP would be nice. 2. Have an option at Level 50 that lets you regenerate your Bloodweb before starting it for 1,000 BP at first before increasing by 500 BP each time you regenerate it. After you complete a Bl

  • Disclaimer -- Yes, I think Moris need to be changed too and would be happy if Moris and Keys are reworked at the same time. Now, my idea -- What if instead of keys being used to open the hatch, they were used to unlock a special chest and in that chest was something special. ------------------------------------------------------ (3 possible ideas) 1. Top quality items -- a Ranger medkit, a

  • TLDR Summary: For Killers -- Increase dull totems on map to 7, cleansing a totem provides a generator part, each generator part removes a Hex: Ruin effect on 1 generator For Survivors -- Increase hook times ————————- Why do this? For Killers -- Games are extremely stressful because you have very little time to get your objective done. For Survivors -- Being camped and tunneled is extremely

  • (Thanks @UlvenDagoth for the inspiration.) Here's my idea to help with, imo, Legion's two main problems: * For killers, that’s getting a second hit and downing the survivor. * For survivors, it's having to mend, which is boring and makes Legion obnoxious to go against. My solution -- Change the Deep Wound status effect and give Legion a secondary power -- Mob Mentality. -------------------

  • Someone on one of the forums made the point that Ghostface's secondary power, crouch, is very underwhelming and that most of his add-ons aren't worth running. That got me thinking of a way to make his crouch and some of his add-ons more useful. My idea -- While Ghostface is crouched, the Night Shroud recovery rate increases by 25 percent. 1. Reusable Cinch Straps -- Increases movement speed wh

  • The Abomination TLDR/Summary: A killer who has a bomb-like attack that damages any survivor close to him when it goes off and who gains super mobility after reloading his power for a brief time to give him map pressure Height: Tall Speed: 4.6 mps Terror Radius: 32 meters Look: Something along the lines of the Grotesque from Diablo 3 . He has a massive right arm with a big meaty claw o

  • This is my third attempt to rework Moris, Keys and Insta-heals. I think it's my best attempt yet. 😁 Hopefully, you guys agree. What do you think? 1) Mori Rework : Ebony Mori -- Grants the ability to kill one survivor who has been hooked by your hand during the next trial, after hooking survivors four times. Ivory Mori -- Grants the ability to kill one survivor who has been hooked by y

  • Monstrous Shrine: The Entity rewards those who honor her. Each time a survivor is hooked in the basement for the first time, one random pallet in the map will be destroyed and the vault closest to it will be blocked for the remainder of the trial. The locations are revealed to the killer for 4/5/6 seconds.

  • You can bring the following items into a match and burn the following offerings once per 24 hours: -- Dull Key/Skeleton Key -- Styptic Agent/Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe -- Brand New Part -- Ivory Memento Mori -- Ebony Memento Mori ------------------------ The community is split over whether instaheals, moris, keys and BNPs are OK in the game. Instead of rebalancing them, removing them or

  • When the killer attempts to Mori you, succeed a Skill Check to recover from the dying state and headbutt the killer, stunning them for 5 seconds. Succeeding the Skill Check will disable Mettle of Man. Receive 30/40/50 percent more bloodpoints for surviving the trial. What do you think? ------------------------ The vanilla Mom was OP, and the reworked MoM is not good. My idea is to turn MoM

  • If the survivor side cannot get a base Kindred, could survivors at least be able to see the auras of survivors within 32 meters of hooked survivors?

  • Slippery Meat: The last 1/2/3 hooks that you sabotage at least 50 percent provide a 100 percent chance for the next survivor hooked on one of them to unhook themselves during the escape attempt. The aura of these hooks can be seen by survivors within 128 meters of range. What do you guys think? ---------------------------------- I think this would actually turn the perk into a fun one people

  • Hello, Each killer comes with a new stat -- Destructive Force, which affects how many charges a generator loses per second while regressing. Weak DF (.25 charges per second), Average DF (.5 cps) and Strong DF (.75 cps). Weak DF: Nurse, Hillbilly, Wraith, Legion, Spirit, Reworked Freddy Average DF: Trapper, Plague, Clown, Hag, Doctor, Leatherface, Pig, Myers, Ghostface Strong DF: Huntress D

  • Do cosmetics that can only be purchased with Auric Cells when they are released ever become available to be purchased with Iridescent Shards later? If so, how much later? Thanks

  • Moris are a good mechanic of the game in theory. However, execution wise they are poorly done. Ebony moris are OP and are basically a free win for the killer. Ivory moris are mostly used to tunnel a survivor, ruining their experience, and make the game a 3v1 ASAP. And Cypress moris are basically worthless. Victories using Ebony and Ivory moris feel cheap, and the moris typically ruin matches w

  • Hello, There's a TLDR at the end. DBD suffers from two big problems: DBD Problem 1: Survivors can complete their objective much faster than the killer can complete his or hers. DBD Problem 2: If a killer tunnels or camps, there’s not much the survivors can do about it. To address Problem 1, the devs have said they’re looking into creating a secondary objective for survivors, which

  • Monstrous Shrine Rework Tier 1 -- Survivors taking an item from basement chest suffer from the exposed status effect for 60 seconds Tier 2 -- Survivors who exit the basement lockers suffer from the exposed status effect for 60 seconds Tier 3 -- 10% faster Entity progression All Tiers -- Both basements spawn on maps that have two basement spawn points.

  • Hello, There's a TLDR at the end. I’ve made some significant changes based on what I've learned about DBD over the past eight months that greatly improve the killer. He’d be a unique addition to the killer lineup, and would be well-balanced and instill fear in survivors by causing them to have to play dangerously. The killer is: The Curse (These images were found on a Go

  • Hello all, I play both survivor and killer, and agree that Legion needs to be buffed; I've made some suggestions for that in previous posts -- increased movement speed per injured survivor, fewer number of frenzy hits to down an injured survivor, etc. The problem that I have with Legion is that while I enjoy playing it (besides losing a lot), it is boring to play against, and it will be eve

  • This Halloween event has shown that adding a secondary objective in addition to the generators is a great idea. However, milking these plants doesn't help survivors in the game and has caused killers to have an easy time of it. So what if instead of these plants, there were 4 shrines to the entity where you can worship -- one for each survivor. By worshipping at these shrines, you remove a pen
