The team role is getting to the point where only certain characters can compete against them and even then it's only if the team makes a mistake. Seriously go play like 50 matches of Sadako and you'll see what I mean once you're playing against people who know what they're doing you'll realize some killers just can't keep up with the current pace of the game. My mains are Sadako, Pig (Amanda), and Plague. I've put quite a lot of time learning these three, their kits and their techs, and yet lately I'm at a point of asking myself what am I doing this for ya know. The pace of the game has increased exponentially and there's a few maps that you can spawn on where you just lose due to the lack of traversal. What's wrong with you? I just had a girl crash out because I went to the bathroom during because I knew I wasn't going to find the hatch before the Kate that was left. When I came back I was confused because the match hadn't ended yet I was gone for 15 minutes. Between literal cheaters, to the people in this community BHVR is not doing enough to police it. If I have a bad game whether it's on killer my team mate/ opposition when tilted will take their anger outside of the game. The SHEER amount of times that I had to clean my profile of horrendous comments or had my auto mod catch them saying slurs on my stream is crazy. Balancing via spreadsheet like the devs do currently would only work if they had an idea WHY the values are the way they are. Like killers with two useful add-ons aren't bringing them constantly because they're op but, because legitimately these add ons have so much impact in comparison to the other ones that it's legitimately nerfing yourself to bring anything else. I say this because people will genuinely throw games following the killer around trying to use stuff like head on or champion of light. You can call it out as a survivor in a lobby tell these people not to throw but they are so hungry for clips for their tik toks. I understand not adding full on comms because the devs would likely have to uproot the foundational code in order to do so. But surely a radial wheel with things like going for save, I'm near, and opening gate along with other stuff the devs might deem useful could be simple enough to add, right? The newer players aren't learning good habits in the game BHVR is patching around the bad one's and I think that's what a good portion of the egos and toxicity are coming from. I just had a match as plague where an Orella just stood under the hook the entire match after first hook. Of course she was running stakeout hyperfocus with a toolbox and bnp. Like genuinely why even queue if you're going to just sit on a gen the entire time? It's no secret that survivor players and killer players are held to a different standard in the DbD community and I honestly wonder why. People on here constantly come on here and whine about constantly facing ghoul, nurse, and blight and I feel like no one who makes that type of post stops to think about the reason why these three are seen so often at high mmr. The crux of it is these three ignore the core issue of dbd.
