Furtive Chase was useful to get more than one obsession but now Nemesis exists so its completely useless. 16 metres (4 tokens) less TR is stupidly OP... until you realise that it decreases your TR in a chase which makes no sense because... how would you use it ?! This Clown of a killer is not really good. I don't think he's the worst killer but he still sucks. The worst killer in the game is Leatherface by far but we'll talk about him in another discussion, OK ? For some info, Clown can throw bottles to slow down survivors, make their screen blurry and apply the Hindered status effect for 2.5 seconds after they leave the gas cloud. Killers' POV : The map is far too big to put pressure and control the generators. If you want to get to a gen that is upstairs, you need to go through 8 different rooms before you get there and at that point the gen would probably be at %15. The game is simple at its core (for killers). Down survivors quick in other words, end chases quickly Pressure the survivors and gens Kill someone as fast as possible without tunneling If you do this against a survivor and play good, you'll win everytime, right ? This is the biggest problem of this game by far. The fight between survivor mains and killer mains. We just can't agree, can we ? The only thing (that I know of) both sides agree on is : iri head. That's all. So, I will give some information first. The game is balanced around 2k 2 escape and solo survivors. SWFs don't ruin the game but they basically disable most killers' powers. I played a game as Hillbilly and the first gen popped in like 20 seconds. The second gen popped 40 seconds later, so I got someone down with my Chainsaw and hooked them. Two people came to save him, I downed one and the other two escaped. I hooked him, the same 2 people came again and this time, I downed both. The last guy was easy to find and I got a Merciless. So, this is a big problem. I'm sure everybody knows it so I'm not going to talk about details. Basically, I'm stuck at rank 7. I can't reach rank 6. It's either really trash survivors or really good survivors. There is no inbetween. So, this is pretty common. A killer camps a survivor so he can guarantee at least 1 kill. I thought this was not wrong and I got camped like this quite a lot. I still thought this was OK since the killer doesn't want to depip, which makes sense. Then I watched an Otzdarva video in which he played Wraith. All the gens were done and he had 1 person on hook. I am a rank 7 trapper main, the only teachable perks I own are : Trapper's perks and Discordance. I keep losing and I don't know if its because I'm bad or the other team is just way better. Last game I got 3 rank 1's (spoiler : I lost). Do I need to wait for the matchmaking update to play the game again or do I need to get better ? So, I am a relatively new killer, I am rank 9, and I play the Trapper. The teachables I own are : Brutal Strength, Agitation, Unnerving Presence and Discordance (I got Discordance from the Shrine). When I play, I find someone, hook 'em and after looking if there is someone nearby, I go to the nearest gen. So if I couldn't find anyone in, like, 2 of the nearest gens, I go back to the hook. So, I was playing solo survivor and was having a pretty fun time. Yea I lost some matches but it was still somewhat fun. I was playing on Backwater Swamp, The Pale Rose. Noone had died. We were fighting a Doctor but still, he was not that great so it wasn't hard. Then we opened the exit gates and I, y'know, escaped. Then the game told me that it lost connection.
