I've been thinking about this for a while and came up with a theory about why so many people quit at the slightest inconvenience, an epidemic that pains me to say has stopped me from playing. I have read conflicting information on this for Killers and absolutely nothing on Survivors. Is it true your MMR drops if you take a break from the game? If so, only Killers? Just a quick PSA that PSN is down for unknown reasons and players cannot play online. Please Note this information before contacting Player Support or opening bug reports. Another FYI! If you own any digital PS games that do not have online play and notice you can't play those either, simply go to Settings on your console and disconnect from the internet. If you are working on a gen with another using Prove Thyself, the progress bar is red. However, if you are working with them while injured using Prove, deja Vu and resilience, it is yellow. I just bought the Charred Chucky cosmetic from The friends til the end collection and I didn't get either the badge or banner. It is in the same collection as Tiffany and the other Chucky cosmetic and should therefore grant the badge and banner to a player if this is their first Chucky cosmetic. I began recording after about a minute. For roughly a minute, I could not heal my teammate. The prompt would come up, my Nancy would begin the healing animation for a split second, then stop and start over and over again (see video). A Killer main that I follow can almost always predict where the hatch will spawn based on where the 3rd Survivor is sacrificed and the location of the final Survivor (assuming they know where they are on the map). I have been playing since 2020 on Nintendo Switch in Docked Mode. I used cross-progression last week to go to PS4 and today I got a PS5. I play Freddy and rarely miss a basic attack. I have been getting this message quite frequently and a lot of other players do too. Look at the Steam forums, Reddit, YouTube, and even here. If the "Dedicated Server is not responding; Disconnecting..." message is triggered, then no players who are still in that match should get a DC Penalty. Today, I did my fitst SoloQ Killer match. The Huntress teamed up with a Sable who lead her to everyone. I knocked the Sable down but The Huntress refused to let me cage her. I was almost happy that my game crashed with dedicated server not responding, which it did. I bought the game on the PS4 early Tuesday to cross-progress my Switch account and prior to the 8.1.1 update, I had no issues playing. Afterwards, the game started to crash at random times and give me the same error. I just tried reinstalling the game and it crashed as I was at the loading screen for a Custom Match against bots.
