I'm aware that your aura gets revealed when a lot of things happen and you can see the debuff saying you've been revealed. I'm not talking about that. I'll be hiding behind an object for a full minute or two, and then a killer will make a beeline straight across the map directly to my position for no reason, and come around the object to hit me, when I my aura was never revealed and they never s11 comments 752 views last activity

Select a survivor. Modify their perks. Maybe play games for a while. Logout and/or close the game. Next time you go to that survivor, their perks have reset to their previous perks, or to no perks at all on newly unlocked survivors. A while back, I had a glitch where my UI got stuck in the lobby while everyone else entered the game because I bought an item in the bloodweb simultaneously. I1 comments 191 views last activity

Xenomorph would be perfect for this. Its movement modes already make it like a feral animal. Maybe you could even do a Werewolf: The Apocalypse thing where runner mode transforms it into a quadrupedal wolf and cancelling runner mode turns it back into two-legged werewolf. No flashy lights or particles needed. Just make its body contort unnaturally when it changes modes. Maybe the turrets could3 comments 51 views last activity

I've noticed that the devs are really good at capturing the type of terror they want to invoke with a certain killer. For example: Me and a friend were doing a generator, and we both turned our cameras at the same time, and saw Michael Myers just standing there, staring at us. It terrified both of us to realize he had been watching us the whole time. Or The Dredge (Dredge Main here) representin1 comments 91 views last activity

1: Get the alien angry if you're winning, or it's being toxic if it's winning. 2: It downs you, then picks you up. 3: It disconnects while carrying you forward towards a wall. 4: The disconnected alien continues walking against the wall, your controls no longer do anything to influence the game. 5: The game ends with disconnect for alien and me. I had to open the surveymonkey page in an Incognito window for each subsequent outpost submission, otherwise surveymonkey would say I already completed the survey.4 comments 31 views last activity

It's hard to get guards to come fight even in a big room now, because Bloodlust's aggro range is so small now. I understand making guards yell constantly so they don't sneak up and assassinate players anymore, but the large summoning range was really good and it should go back in.0 comments 21 views last activity

You can even download both versions of the game on your PS5, and switch to the PS4 version of the game when editing/prestiging to make your thumbnails bright again.0 comments 11 views last activity

And I try to build my outposts accordingly. I've built 2 of each so far. My first five (my "early work") are one of each, and my second five (my "later work") are also one of each. I'll put the earlier one first and the more recent one second. Guard I consider a Test of Guard to be a test of the player's ability to engage in combat with guards and outplay them. Since they changed prestige, it has been impossible not to prestige your outpost every time it runs out. I actually liked the old system better, where it was a struggle for your outpost to do well enough to prestige at higher levels. With the caveat that they should keep the fix where large bases are just as easy to prestige as small ones. Even if we don't go back to that, we should still go ha2 comments 31 views last activity

I've only seen a Playstation logo or that wireframe sphere logo, which I interpret to be PC. I'm on PS4. I thought this game is cross-platform for being able to raid players' outposts?3 comments 101 views last activity

I dunno about other builders, but I take the genmat type into account when thinking about themes/strategies for building an outpost. It would be nice for players to get a reminder after they've loaded, of what type of genmat they're on. Not just if they forgot, but also for challenge outposts and social outposts, which don't let you see the genmat type from the menu. The genmat drone's landing13 comments 121 views last activity

They should also do it for players hiding outside the playable area, or when they have Short Leash and you're outside their patrol zone.1 comments 11 views last activity

It's bad enough when you spend 20 minutes to an hour in build mode, thinking it's one difficulty, then you test it and the difficulty goes up, and you have to delete several entities to go back to the difficulty you thought it was. Yesterday I uploaded an outpost, where BOTH Build Mode and the Command Center told me, for HOURS upon HOURS upon HOURS, that it was Dangerous. Then I woke up this mo7 comments 71 views last activity

I had this poor guy who took a minute and 30 seconds to reload into my outpost, and then died 30 seconds in and had to wait a minute 30 to play again. He spent more time in loading screens than playing the game. :( He must have been on an original PS4. Seems like the game shouldn't have to reload the whole outpost if they're just reviving.7 comments 71 views last activity

And the replay says they're going to die 10 more. It always irritates me when they tilt their camera (just once) after every kill/encounter/etc, like they're teabagging or "flexing on" you. At least you can laugh at them when they're clearly not as great as they think they are.4 comments 51 views last activity

It's bad enough that some sweaties have watched some youtuber out there who told them "if you just keep walking, nothing will get you". It's broken that they can do this with the Iron Claw too, since the whole reason it exists is to stop them from just walking away. There's a gigantic claw made of pure iron embedded into their body from behind, and they just wave their sword at the empty space4 comments 61 views last activity

If you put an armored Warmonger in a place where they have to come face to face with it, and then put two more armored Warmongers nearby with Bloodlust... the time it takes an average player to kill the "Bait" Warmonger, is about the same time it takes for the next two to show up. The backups arrive together and become a "1-2 combo". When the player staggers the first one by breaking its armor,9 comments 261 views last activity

I understand if the devs want us to continue making new maps and not just sit on the same one forever. But it seems like it's better to guide that behavior with incentives rather than take away player agency. They should just let us spend a high amount of synth to re-activate it, and maybe reduce the cost of buying plots of land. Players who are passionate about their map would be willing to gri8 comments 131 views last activity

For example, if I buy a base that generates GenMat for the monsters advisor, and I think "it'll be cool to make something monster themed", will other players raiding my all-monsters base get the GenMat for the advisor who does monsters?2 comments 31 views last activity
