WGLF: Yea you are right with that, in terms of "effectivenss" it does nothing, i still appreciate that perk for its BP. But still, your argument is correct and i think i should remove it
Urban: I disagree. The meta right now is a little bit off for this perk, but it is just unpopular, not a bad perk. I would not use it, but those who play stealthy definitly enjoy it a lot. I have friends who would even put it on S Tier (i dont agree tho). I also dont think these playstyle is a bad habbit at all, its just different and can be effective. When i play against spirit or Nurse i sometimes wish i had that perk instead of those i run very frequently (for example Adrenaline or DS, those are more vs a good nurse almost useless). And for me, every Perk that is very useful against Nurse can not be below B Tier at least :P
Self Care: A tricky one. A medkit does a better job, and healing yourself with SC takes a lot of time. Still a good perk in many situations, like you said, you wont be dependent off your teammates. Definitly not a good perk when you play with a group, but helps when played solo. It gets outclassed by Adrenaline right now.
I try to stay as objecitve as possible, and i know that Meta does not always have to be the best. It is a trend and it can change very quickly, even without changing the game.

head on and aftercare being D tier offends me, also i use wake up and id like to say the same but it really isnt great
I was thinking a lot about aftercare, since i have not used it that much. My problem with this perk is, that it has no use in the early game at all and the benefit that you and your team might get out of it is not THAT great.
Head on is a fun perk, but compared to the other exhaustion perks, it is really not that awesome. It will get a buff tho (at least this is what i heard).
Wake Up went from F to D Tier, cause of EGC. Its a decent Perk and it might make the difference in some situations now. Problem is... it is still very situational and you get only use out of it in the endgame and even then it might not help you very often. To be fair, i only used it a couple of times now, but never really with great success.

Updated the List, did some minor and some bigger changes.. some thoughts about it?

I only get to play about once a week maybe for a few hours and recently have just got bored of it. After doing some dailies, there just isn't any more incentive because the time it takes to get the perks I need to have fun is so... damned... long. Obviously I am not the target market but there has to be a happy medium.
Everything in moderation... including moderation.
There is actually one way to deal with this: Your first game of the week gives you something like 50.000 Bloodpoints. But would that make you more happy? Maybe at first, but later you will ask for more.

2300 games if you already know how to play, also as you go up in the ranks it gets harder.
Plus some people has a life.
Like i said, managing 2300 games in DBD is not even really a task for ppl who can play very little every day. This could be done in 800 hours or less. 800 hours in 3 years is not even one game per day. And if you are new to the game, why would you need every single Survivor and every single Killer with all the perks?
Please devs. Ignore this request, we all know how this will go
- We want it quicker
- Now we have it all
- We need more content
- There is 2 little content
- I leave the game... boring...
Soo many games did that mistake and we saw them vanishing.
-
People who cant get into the better ranks would not like this idea. Most DBD Players probably will never be in Redranks.
If we are talking about a personal uprank reward (lets say after a season we are Green and we managed to get into purple) there would be even more reason to derank, since ranking up from R20 to R1 would be rewarding quiet a lot
-
I like his idea (even tho it is not a new one) but if every survivor has a passive, it should be a minor thing (like healing 3% faster)
-
If i need to camp to stay at the rank i want, i dont deserve that rank.
So no. I dont camp
-
Hello
While 175.000.000 BP sounds like a lot, it is actually managable.
Lets say you play Killer with BBQ and 100% BPs most of the time, it will take about 2300 games to reach that goal. Lets say you can play 3 Games per hour, we are not even at 800 hours. Double BP Events are not included.
800 hours is not that much for someone who is dedicated enough to get every Char to max with all perks... And those who are not should not reach that anyway (if they would, there would not be a lot to do for those who grind).
I play this game since 7 Months, i got 2 Survivor almost maxed out and most killer have 3-4 pages full of perks. Since this is the case, i will be complete in less the 5 months.
-
Best designed Killer is imho Myers. Well ballanced and feels a lot like his movie Paragon
-
Survior Perk
- Failing 5 Skillchecks in a row activates the Perk.
- If the following Skillcheck while repairing a Generator is a Good Skillcheck, your repairspeed is increased by 50% until you stop repairing.
- If the following Skillcheck while repairing a Generator is a great Skillcheck, the Generator is repaired immediately.
- If you fail the following Skillcheck while repairing a Generator, you fall into dying state.

That's not the definition of broken. Broken means broken regardless of skill, not "in good hands".
That is your definition of it, and it makes no sense at all.
Urban Dictionary: Something that is so overpowered, that it makes all other options look terrible.
Obviously there is nothing in the world that is broken for everybody. The best gun in a Shooter might be broken for 99,9% of the Playerbase, but per your definition it is not broken, since my 98 year old Grandmother would still suck with it...

If she was broken, as so many people claim, she'd stomp no matter the skill of the person playing her.
It should be obvious that she is broken in skilled hands, since it requires a lot of skill to reach her full potential. Thats the difference between a very good leatherface and a very good Nurse... The Killing Potential of the Nurse is 10 times bigger then the Killing potential of a regular Killer.

Q: Why is tunneling bad?
A: Because it is no fun for the tunneld Survivor (and eventually for the whole team). The same is valid for Camping or Survivor who try their best to piss off the Killer.
Also, if a killer has to tunnel a Person or camp the hook, he is simply not good enough.
I would never tunnel anyone, just for those 2 reasons (no fun for anyone and it would be a concession that i am bad)
-
I almost never go for the unhooked person. The only reason i might do it, is if the hooked guy was bm before.
-
Dont want to be the Party pooper, but we already get a lot of bloodpoints (and soon for Survivor aswell).
Get BBQ, Throw in 100% on all and you will have more often then not 70K per Game.
But "Hey, there is no enough Bloodpoints, more is always better" ? Wrong, grind is a part of the game, and as long as ppl have something to grind, they have lesser reasons to leave the game.
Leave it the way it is. BP Events every now and then is more then enough.
And now, throw some thoughtless hate towards me :P
-
So you want that Devs dont nerf op Perks? Why not? Mettle was OP, DS was OP and Sprint Burst aswell. PPL will complain about OP Stuff as long as they are in the game. I dont see anything wrong with that sry.
-
The nurse is so hated because its the only killer where survivor dont have their faith in their hands, but only the killer itself. You can loop a normal killer, and if you play perfect (and the killer does too) you will gain time, until you will run out of good loops / pallets.
This is not the case with the nurse. A perfect nurse (playing vs a perfect surivor) will just get the survivor within seconds, no matter what he is doing. Breaking line of sight or hiding is only in theory "counterplay". It all rely on how good the nurse is, and nowadays, nurse players are getting better.
-
lol the Nurse of course. A good nurse will destroy you, no matter what you do.
Maybe not on console tho
-
Dead Hard is the best, but it is sometimes hard to use. I would still recomand Ballanced Landing to new players, advanced should go with Deadhard all the time.
-
nobody cares for that pure, useless perk? Give it some love please :)
-
Depending on the rank i have / i aim for.
Currently Rank 1 i run:
- Spine Chill: Because it is the best Perk in the game.
- Dead Hard / Ballanced Landing: Amazing perks for gaining distance
- DS: Because i hate to get farmed off the hook or beeing tunneled
- Adrenaline / Borrowed Time: Because i like op perks :P
@CheersTC I like your perk Setup but i would recommand changing Selfcare to something different ("Dance With me" would complete your build, or maybe Spine Chill because it is godtier)
-
Yea me too, but i would still prefere Pinhead / Hellraiser or a Stranger things Chapter over Pumpkinhead. Still a very interesting Killer this game might have someday ๐ค
-
That would be fantastic, im not gonna lie.
Demogorgon as killer
Barb as survivor ๐
-
Killer: Lerys
Survivor: Lerys
-
I pretty much always do. Dont see a reason why i should not.

There are some people that use the same perk combination everyh game. Once you see their name, you would know which perks you're going against.
Not knowing which killer i am facing is for me a nice experience (even you often find out in the first 30 seconds.)
When i play killer, it does not really make it more exciting to know the survivors perks for the beginning on.
I would not mind if the killer wont be able to see the survivor names in the lobby.๐
-
- Giving the last guy hatch
- GGs at the end
- Letting them farm when something bad happens during game (like someone DC or kill himself on the hook right at the start of the game)
Yes, i like when everyone has a good time.
-
Because as a survivor you should not know who you are up against. There are some ppl who play like 1-3 Killers exclusivly. Once you see his name you would know which killer you are facing.
-
Spine Chill always helps a bit. But vs a good spirit you have a hard time anyway
-
As a Survivor:
- Facecamping Killer
- Megablink Nurse
- Lerys
- Me playing bad
- Teammates playing bad
As a Killer:
- Me Playing bad
- Flashlight Clicky
- Tbag
- Combo of all 3

You assume I want to be "playing a game". Yes, it is a game, people play it, but I don't want to be participating in chess. I want to lean back and relax and stomp on little zhits as a ghost in a horror movie setting. It's fun and lmao, it's in the game and there is still a playerbase, I honestly don't care about the survivors fun. They don't care about mine or other killers or even eachother and caring doesn't rank me up, give me cosmetics, or make the game more enjoyable. Lmao trying to paint me as a cheat or an abuser, swessy, no!
The only story you tell us here is that you have no empathy with anyone else, in that case with the survivors. And you seem to not understand that "beeing a survivor" is no personal attack . I think you are simply playing the wrong game. Maybe a singleplayer Horror Game might be a better choice for you? idk

lmao i dont think im good. see, i like going against fellow rank 1s and 2s and changing the game for them. every other killer obeys the survivors rules and the survivor is always able to outplay the killer if they know what they are doing. i dont like that. so i run prayer beads so i have the upper hand, not them. im in the power role, not them. this game is balanced so people want to play survivor. i dont like that balance and I have the option to remove it with an add on so i use it. please explain to me why on Earth would i want to be countered?
Why would i want to play chess vs an oponnent who has the same ammount of pieces then i do? Its way more fun playing vs someone who starts with nothing but his king, because its all about me winning and not having a decent gaming experience, right?
-
If this perk should be a decent attempt for killers to leave the hook, then i have to disapoint you. Some simply camp, because they like to. No perk will change that unfortunatly.
There is already BBQ + Devour Hope, Campers simply wont use those perks (or they will use it and dont give a poop about the penatly)
-
Thanks for your imput. May i ask whats your favourite brown addon is?
-
Thank you guys, i will consider all of your suggestions! <3
One question: What do you think about the addon "All Seeing Blood" ?
-
Nice posting TWiXT, all of the listed ideas have some merites.
Devs, make Gen kicking viable please :) At this current state, it is clearly not.
-
@Alfred said:
Survivals are so powerful they can repair the generator with only touch. Best part is survival who is chased and stop the regresion...
Yes that was one of my thoughts about it. Just run to the gen, tap it really quick and leave again.
In my opinion, Gens are already done quick and this would be a fair way to balance it a little bit.
As a Killer i often think when i am next to a gen that it is not worth the time kicking it, since it will taped anyway really soon. I also see the other perspecitve as a survivor, that (for example when i am about to rescue some1 off a hook) i just quickly tap the gen and then go to safe the person.

Spine Chill
Adreanaline
Borrowed Time
Dead Hard
Ballanced Landing

Great ideas, would love to see all these changes.
Amandas Secret would be my favourite change.

They are strategies that you can use and help you win the game. What is not fair is face camp, mori spam.
Why is facecamping in your opinion unfair and "normal camping" fair? What is even your definition of fairness?
-
Activision :o
You want Behaviour to "partner up" like Blizzard did with Activison? If so... There are no words in the tongs of Men that can describe how aweful this idea is.
-
No it is when a killer is rage DCing after like for example a chase he lost, you get a minus pip for that (and every1 else). Why am i getting punished for that? Devs? Do you have a plan for that? I am a bit shocked that stuff like that is not fixed yet, it is such an essential thing and cant be a big deal to fix, especially because it is not even abuseable.
When a Killer is DCing, you should get Blackpip or better, no matter what, and no matter what rank you are ofc.
-
Does Rank matter in CS:GO?
Does Rank matter in LoL?
Does Rank matter in Chess?
Does "Rank" matter in your Job?
It all depends on how YOU see it :) If you dont care about the rank, then it does not, if you care, then it does.
If you want my personal opinion: It does a little bit. For me, green ranks are boring, so i wanna be in purple at least. Red Ranks are to triedhard and personally i wanna relax at least a bit when i play.
Oh and by the way.. you dont get anything if you reach a certain rank. And even if you would, it would not really matter, since it would just a cosmetic item in a Videogame, which could matter... or could not.. :P
-
Depends a lot on the Map. On some maps its billy by a mile, on some Spirt is way better.
-
I play every game because i am looking for a challange. You only get good if you face the best and eventually you can beat them. Playing against weak opponents wont make you a better player.
-
Hello
The question you are asking is strange and the answer is very obvious
Every game is always different in some sort of way.
It is like asking a chess player why he is not getting tired of this game. Doing always these moves, beat those peaces, defeate the enemy...
-
Probably someone lost connection. The only time i think some1 would dc is a mori.
