Dracula, which is only backwards compatible with other killers no matter what you make it do, and is just so busy with the controls that you have to keep thinking about object hooks and heights, is OP? Can you say the same again after using it in a ranked match for 10 matches?
-
Community managers say rocker DS is a cool technique. With this perception, it is no wonder that the current situation in DBD is all over the place, with survivors coming together to abuse killers.
-
Please don't just make hillbillies useless again after they have been released from a long incarceration. The "just right" strength of Kare with the overheat system was one of the most stupid adjustments in the history of BhVR.
-
For Killer, there are significant advantages to reducing the number of survivors by one as early as possible. The camp tunnel controversy will not end without providing further incentives for the act of patrolling the map and chasing survivors at a large distance from the hook.
I disagree because the above will not be solved by making the same oppressive changes as before that only punish killers by lengthening the time of the hook stage this time. If it is to be implemented, there are many ways to do it, for example, shortening the time in the opposite direction if you are a certain distance away from the hook, or knowing the location of other survivors when hooking (= easier to head towards and sabotage Gen), etc.
-
I think this is a good mode to relax and play on either side without worrying about the concept of winning or losing. 1vs1 chases are not competitive at first due to the countless number of pallets, and there may be no point in aiming for 8k from the start due to the three hatches coming out.I think it's a good mode to play in. This is a limited time mode, so relax and enjoy it as if you were taking a walk.
-
I am aware that this is a mode where more than half of the survivors will escape in about 5 minutes at most, unless the survivor abandons the Gen. Were you playing a different game than the 2vs8 mode the topic owner is playing? This mode is a brutal mode that ends prematurely if the survivor is doing more than usual (working on Gen).
-
Because of the hatch, it is almost impossible to get wiped out, so relax and enjoy it as if you were taking a walk. As long as you can manage the matching time, this mode is exhilarating and fun.
-
Give up in this mode because the VCPT coordination is stronger than ever in this mode and the three hatches make it nearly impossible. Relax and enjoy the killer as if you were taking a walk.
-
Not too sure why there are not enough survivor queues, 2vs8 mode is more efficient with a high turnover rate and many matches to enjoy, as there is a high probability that all the gen will be completed in 3-4 minutes, or that they will be overwhelmed at the first move and the battle over the hatch will begin.
I think a large part of the reason the killer player queue is crowded is that it frees them from the solitude they have always struggled with in VC collaboration, but the survivor is still the same, for better or worse.

I know what I'm about to ask is probably going to get some strong reactions but on the topic of the gen bug where if one survivor dies and leaves the game the next gen completed counts as 2 gens, would it be crazy if that stayed in the game in some version as an anti-tunnel mechanic?
It hasn't cost me any games as killer personally and as survivor it really only makes a difference in games where one person gets hard tunneled out early on. If they made it where it only did it after one person died it could be a genuinely good mechanic to dissuade tunneling. I thought killer was going to be unplayable with this bug around but it really isn't if you ping pong between two survivors and spread pressure by the time a survivor dies it doesn't really matter if you take a gen away or put another way any game where it matters you were probably going to lose anyway. Because from my experience it only effects killers trying to hard tunnel one person out while running a bunch of gen blocking (deadlock/grim embrace/DMS) perks which isn't any fun to go against anyway.
It is ridiculous to penalize the killer side for performing the act of executing a survivor, which is one of the gameplay objectives imposed on the killer side. What do you think the two camps are separated for?
-
@terror said:
Don't tunnel and you'll be fine.
This is an inaccurate post. If one person is executed on the third hook after 2 hooks for everyone equally, it will still occur after exiting the results screen.
-
I saw several topics mentioning bugs that were closed because they were not bug reports or were duplicates. However, BhVR is growing in that regard, as it is rare for a bug to be fatal in playing this type of game, and it is reported to users on the official Twitter page.
-
As for Knight, I only have the impression that he is a character that has been abandoned by BhVR. Since its release, it has been riddled with bugs, with guards often getting stuck and making unnecessary detours during chases, and at one point it was left buggy and unusable for over a month. It is very dishonest to release this kind of content as paid DLC.
-
For players who leave the game in anger or who ruin the game experience for their matches by leaving the game early, BhVR will update the specs to automatically complete the gen and win for the Survivor team. Implemented in patch notes.
-
BhVR does not love him when he makes the AI unusable or stuck without notice within a few months of release. It really sucks.
-
I thought PTB 8.1.0 improved the scratching, but then it went back to its usual awfulness and I was disappointed, "Oh, it's BhVR. Why don't we go back and look at the gameplay videos around 2017,18 ourselves?
-
Although best used in conjunction with DH, which is one of the best perks in terms of both usage and strength of effect, it can be legally activated by bodyblocking a teammate after unhooking. Originally intended as a base kit to reduce tunneling, the BT still makes MFT the premier chase park as long as it is available.
-
When playing as a survivor, I am dissatisfied with not being able to aim for sabotage, light stun, or party play that combines these, but if you think about it from a killer's perspective, the remote hook function is an option that will greatly improve your quality of life. This is a feature I would like to see re-introduced with some restrictions and conditions.
-
If the fastest moving speed is strong enough, then Demogorgon is the strongest killer because Shred is the fastest.
-
Depending on the survivor's items and offerings, there may be little incentive to hook them, and this tendency is accelerated when they bring a park such as Sabotage.
When playing a killer play in high MMR now, the act of carrying and hooking is risky, and the scourge hook that used to reward hooking has become less appealing with repeated nerfs and sabotage enhancements, and pop has been returned to the state that BhVR once said was too weak and unused, and is now blind. It is not possible to see it.
In the end, there are many matches where making a couple of crawlers and then attacking the survivor who comes to wake them up is the optimal action to reduce the palette of the map with the least risk.
-
It is quite difficult to hear Ada's moaning as she crawls away and disappears somewhere, and there are not a few matches where you can't find her, but still, is it a killer to be punished?
-
@Jacknalls_Paw said:
From the next update hooks on which a survivor is sacrificed will be able to respawn after 60 seconds.
There are no more excuses at this point, the killer often used the loophole of not being able to hook because there were no more hooks available nearby even though it may not have been true just to mask his toxicity.
I am obviously only talking about the situation where there are only survivors on the ground and the game is virtually over, whereas if a killer wants to slug during the game there is no problem of course. Is the killer also punished when the survivor gets burned by a flip-flop right under the palette or loses sight of Ada, who has almost no moaning?
-
It's a killer that we rarely see even for free, but if it loses even its chase ability, it will be a killer that we won't see as much as Twins Nightmare Demogorgon Alien Singularity Chucky Unknown.
-
What does BhVR have against Chucky? If you hate him so much, why did you implement him as a collaborator?
-
There are several characters who have not yet used up their Alex toolboxes, so please wait to nerf them.
-
You may not know it, but the character Ada has already gotten a passive whose moans are smaller than those of other kyarakutas for a long time, so high MMR players and competitive SWF groups are using her at a high rate.

Scourge Pain Res is still a pretty good perk despite the nerf, however, PGTW is pretty terrible now leaving us with only one truly good gen regression perk, that being the former. Unlike all the other previous meta shake-ups there are no more gen regression perks to lean on, no secret underutilized perk that will now be catapulted to meta status like Call of Brine and Eruption after Ruin and Undying got nerfed, nothing.
So…What now? I highly doubt that PGTW will last any longer in the meta because of its pathetic 20% regression, so whats going to be meta now? Will No Way Out and Noed be the new meta combo? Will people rely more on Gen block perks like Grim Embrace and Deadlock even after they've been nerfed? Will hexes make a comeback? I'm curious to know what everyone thinks it will be because quite frankly looking at the perk selection Killers have right now I have zero clue as to what's going to be the new meta. It really feels as if Killers have no extremely powerful perks anymore leaving us instead with a bunch of much weaker, albeit still strong when combined perks now.
Because there are no other slowdown lok options, we have no choice but to take some of the ones that have been weakened by the most recent adjustments: Surge and Eruption are still hard to use because they are still punished by the 3gen system, and Undying & Ruin are disabled in the first 30 seconds of the game. You cannot take them with you because of the risk.
Again, many players just use them because they have no other decent slowdown options, so they have no choice. Especially if you try to use M1 Killer now, you will be out of the gate in no time without slowdown.

Dont know about you, but half the matches I see still have people using Pop + Pain Res and STILL winning matches.
Doesn't look dead to me but if (And keyword, IF) killers complain about it being too weak; i wouldn't be surprised.Because there are no other slowdown lok options, we have no choice but to take some of the ones that have been weakened by the most recent adjustments: Surge and Eruption are still hard to use because they are still punished by the 3gen system, and Undying & Ruin are disabled in the first 30 seconds of the game. You cannot take them with you because of the risk.

-
I'm not interested in whether the developer can play the game well or not, but at least understand what kind of play is good and how the adjustments that will be made will affect the game.
Who came up with the new map and implemented it? The almost endless chases with warp portals and Window, which exploit the breakdown of chase decisions, etc., are too extreme in balance, with a significant advantage for survivors and a killer advantage if the two gates are brought to the final stage due to their extreme proximity. Is the feedback from many players of last year's Halloween event being ignored?
-
For the two park combo, place the item on the ground first. Fortunately, you will be notified of the perk, so once you see it, pick up the item and take it to a non-chase position and store it there. For medikits, you will waste half of your killer perk slot just doing that. In the case of a toolbox for sabotage or a flashlight for stun aim, you have no choice but to hold on to it.
-
The hesitation regarding the PoP adjustments can only mean that BhVR has not kept track of what adjustments they have made and how much they have been used in the past. Why revert to figures from a time when they were not used at all in the past?
-
A Park that consumes two Gen Kick times is useless unless it has a value similar to the previous PoP. Even though there is a downed survivor in front of you, if you can see the aura of the survivor working on Gen, there is no benefit other than being able to sort out the situation except for certain killers such as artists. I still don't understand what BhVR was thinking in making this rework.
-
Were there any hooks left around? When you got 4% escape, did you do anything you would expect from a player, like making noise and T-bagging in front of the hatch?
I personally feel bad about slugging because it wastes my time, but if I was playing with a player I didn't know, including Solo, I would give up and think, ``Maybe he did something,'' and then I would play on Twitch. I try to kill time by watching Youtube. It can't be helped because you don't know what's going on outside your sight or what the other person thinks about you.
-
If all other perks are nerfed until they are no longer useful, they will be an option for use. Even this joke is realistic now after seeing the recent adjustments to BhVR's killer perk.
-
Do you know what it means to spend two of the four available park slots just for aura visualization? Fewer slots for perks that can be involved in the gen means that a mistake can end the game in modern DbD (I don't know of any survivors on North American servers who are taking their time).
-
Why should the killer be penalized for the blunder of the survivor player?
-
It is laughable that there is a desire to weaken the park when, let's say, it is just a park that is only involved in the comfort of the game. If this keeps up, it really will be nerfed in 2025 on the grounds that shattered hope is too strong to enjoy an all-boon configuration.
-
BhVR adjustments are consistent. All base kit effects, perks, and item buffs for survivors will now be of greatest benefit to VCPTs, and only killers that do not suffer from higher tier mobility will be able to withstand use.

the worst map added in the history of maps very disappointing it stresses me you can’t win as a survivor the heartbeat is always there no no no this is unacceptable i need changes pronto or disabled this map because who ever created it did a horrible job
Not winning as a survivor on this map? Really? On a map where you can have endless portal chases with M1 killers and where it is difficult to move between above and below ground when the gen is scattered with killers that don't have warp capabilities. Really?
-
I think the chapters that followed Singularity -> Xenomorph are clearly failures. Having an object on the map as a counterplay to the killer's ability is fine, but the fact that it is so easy and unlimited in frequency is flawed.
-
I knew it...no wonder BhVR was sold in an enhanced state from PTB and then immediately nerfed, which was the norm.
Since this comes after the last few days when the ways to get around and deal with the chase against the rich have started to become a little more popular, maybe they don't even want to give the survivor players the pleasure of trial and error at the earliest.

You are talking about that funny picture with numbers BHVR presented as "statistic" on the "trust me bro" basis, which does not correlate to the real experience of players. We need an independent source in order to talk about statistics.
I am well aware of the credibility of the numbers BhVR publishes, as I have seen the days when they used to subdivide the park into slots 1-4 and publish each slot in order to deceive the DH usage rate.
-
Statistics show that 4SWF has only a 4% higher escape rate than soloQ, so few killers should avoid the lobby because of that. Survivor wait times will not increase even if implemented.
-
This is a good time to have a new person in charge of Japanese information dissemination and localization. There are many typographical errors that have yet to be fixed, the addition of inflammatory phrases when sending out patch notes, etc., that are meant to upset people (mainly the killer players), and a series of translations that differ from the English original, such as the recent toolbox buffing reasons. I am fed up and I have been playing the English version of the game for about 5 years now.
-
Immediately after the update, I was playing PT with the trio, and in two hours, three of them saw a killer who was heartbroken and left alone. Alex Toolbox has been able to sabotage at an insane rate since PTB, but I never thought it would actually be implemented. I think they will continue to consume a lot of Alex, which they got as a byproduct of playing Prestige before the re-nerf comes.
-
The year after next, they will demand a nerf because they cannot enjoy the all-boon totem configuration + boilover + sabotage configuration due to shattered hopes.
-
I am surprised that BhVR has not learned anything from the so-called Void-Tech that abused the Void for last year's Halloween event. I would have thought that they would have at least taken into account the feedback of what happened during the last year or so.
-
It was a party where we could share about Gen's progress with VCPT and it was very effective when used in the middle to end of the game. The Ultra Rare add-on to the toolbox can be slammed into multiple Gen units, which can be as effective as mocking the killer's attempts to defend the Gen.
-
Awesome. The quirky nerf may be the number one nerf ever done to a killer by BhVR, beyond the folly of adding the overheat system to hillbillies and the folly of making the hug trap disappear by hand. Has the person in charge of the adjustments that allowed the demogorgon's special attack to break the board already left the company?
-
I will only buy if there is an attractive perk, if it is only for the killer himself, I will wait and see as it will be nerfed or bugged in a few weeks to a month anyway. This is especially true after the 2022 killer.
