Every character listed here at least resembles their older version. Like, if you put the new Kate up you can tell it's her but with some funky features.
New Dwight (henceforth called Dwot), is a completely new character. Face shape, jaw line, eye placement, nose size, mouth curve, hair texture, and ear height have all been changed. Dwight was body-snatched and replaced with a whole different character.
I main Dwight. I ONLY play Dwight. If someone showed me a pic of what was released today, I wouldn't eve be able to guess that it was Dwight.
This was NOT minor changes as claimed. This was a complete re-imagining.

I have EVERY single Dweet skin and I PAID for them. I am a Dweet main and I ONLY play him because I love him so much.
This is such a huge dissapointment.

It was a gamble to try and update the models.
Humans are wired to learn people's facial features so we can tell them apart. Other animals use smell. So when those features are changed, even slightly, we immediately notice.
I am a Dweet (Dwight) main. I only play Dweet. I adore him and buy every single outfit for him the day it releases. The new model looks like an entirely different character.

If it is such a tiny unimportant detail, then why did the devs spend so much time and resources to update them?
A visual connection to our characters not only affects how much the players enjoy the game, but also the overall health of the game. The company makes important revenue from skins.

This is the exact same defense killers give about mori. Yet Mori will usually wipe ALL survivors, a key will usually only save one MAYBE two survivors.

I LOVE Prove Thy Self and can't imagine not running on any of my characters. I am red rank.
I do have a soft spot for Leader, but there are just so many other great options out there.

My understanding is that image is a fan creation. It isn't a planned update.

I love the game and it is incredibly unique. However, I really don't see any innovation.
The game really needs a second game mode. Something totally silly. Like...50 survivors and 4 killers. Killers with most kills wins on killer side. For surivivors, there are TONS of doors, and they have to open it, but it takes time and it only opens for them.

I totally agree! A shirt Dwight skin with a little tuft of chest hair. Adorably pathetic like our favorite survivor.

BBQ and Chili is completely out of hand and overpowered. I am going endless waves of matches against killers ALL of whom take it. THEN, survivors getting lucky if we even get ONE generator down.
The reading aura portion of the perk is absurd and should be removed. The aura reading after a hook creates a snow ball effect for the next hook, eventually leading to a win for the killer.
It is also completely unaballanced. One perk should not instantly lead to 4 kills and zero generators.

DBD with no ruin...and killers are getting 4 kills. It is almost impossible to escape now even with ruin nerfs. Killers are so selfish.

It matters because it shows that even with generators speeds, killer advantages are so huge they can still get 4 kills with generators speed is mute.
Killers are so selfish. You aren't even happy with 4 kills now. You want 4 easy kills now. The killer demands will never stop.

It's not like any killer could've done anything about this from happening. And then the second gen popped a minute later.

As a side comment I don't like how this clip just starts with a ranting thing. I just saw it in my feed. Clicked it because I was bored. And had to do a double take when a gen popped at 0:52.

You totally ignore the survivor perspective. All the survivors died! Killers are getting 4 kills and you still demand nerfs to survivors?! It is absurd how much killers demand this game be tailored to them. The game is already so absurd tilted their favor. The second the killer encounters their first survivor the killers is going to start snowballing because anytime a surivior is running/healing/sneaking because of a killer, they aren't doing gens.

I'm sorry, no. Compared to survivor, killer is so much easier and less stressful. The amount of effort you have to do to blood farm is absurdly low compared to survivor also.
I've noticed that killers expect the game to be completely tailored to them. I mean, the original poster even starts with the fact that he was going to get a four kill. How much more does he want? The fact that there was no hook around is the mechanic of the game to give the survivor a chance to escape. The survivor should have been trying to escape, and wiggling when you picked them up to pull them away from the gate when you picked them up. To demand anything else is to ask to circumvent balance and build in mori for all killers.
