  • i am not toxic normally but after reading this I have only one Thing to say: Maybe try to get good? I am a rank 1 Killer every Season and i have no problems getting 4K's with every killler at all

  • @Nick said:

"Best survivor perk" would've been a better title no? Since there are no overpowered survivor perks.

DS is still better imo, since Adrenaline is only reliable in full SWFs

ur totally right, so there we go

I hardly ever see Adrenaline used atm. It's one of those perks that is just outside the top 4 for me on my builds.

As killer I hardly see it since I usually have at least 1 or 2 dead if the game reaches end game.

what perkbuild do u use then? i'm curious about that. i myself use iron will, dh, bt and adre. i switch out perks for ds, resilience or Unbreakable sometimes tho

True. Arguments used to get super heated back when I joined this forum, but now it's a lot more chilled out.

yee i actually am surprised how chill this discussion is because i know its a pretty controversial topic and people are raging a lot about perks being op and stuff. so i am happy to get some good opinions and ideas here

  • @DelsKibara said:

    Actually OP?

I honestly would have to say....... Iron Will.

Dead Hard is amazing, but doesn't always work.

DS is just... really not worth taking, it's just not that good anymore imo.

Adrenaline only happens at the end of the game, which to be honest, is the same as running NOED. You're running 3 perks the whole game so you could maybe use this one perk that will give you a huge boost.

OoO is not that useful solo, and even then not that great on SWF either other than small bits of information.

So my vote goes for Iron Will, which can make you seem like you disappear if you can hide well enough.

yee a long time i really loved iron will and i still use it while either using a flashlight or playing solo queue. for SWF i changed my opinion somewhen tho because i think 16 second chance perks allow you to Play agressive enough to not need iron will anymore. still a great perk for sure!

I still dont know why creating these post, imo they should be deleted.

This is all just to create drama, cry about X thing and us vs them mentality, nothing usseful and no constructive = usseles post

my goal wasnt to complain or start drama at all. i just wanted to collect information to creat an even stronger build than i already have

also i want to get and give as constructive opinions as possible

'too strong' suggests it's overpowered that's why I was misled. But I don't get the fuss about these perks, so easy to play around DS and Adrenaline is basically NOED but for survivors, as a player who plays both sides, I find both perks fine, same with NOED, BBQ, STBFL and Pop goes the weasel. The community just complains about good perks... :/

Well i dont complain about perks being too strong at all. Also Adrenaline is easily my favorite perk for Survivor. As Killer i don't use Noed and Bamboozle tho because imo it's low skill but i don't complain if someone uses it. A fact is just that it is a bit boring that there are only few top tier Perks and the other like 75 Perks are useles compared to them. But as long as there are good perks for both sides they balance each other out.

  • @KingFrost said:

Object of Obsession. Put it on in SWF and unless the survivors just don't do gens... good luck to the killer.

very interesting choice aswell. i dont really like it myself but i have seen how good it can be when my Friends used it. especially against Killers like trapper or hag ngl.

  • @Poweas said:

Nah, DS and Adrenaline aren't 'overpowered'. None of them are really that 'overpowered' the ones that people think are, are just good perks. :/

hm well you may realise i put OP in quotion marks because i dont think ist op either, it can be extremely strong in the right hands tho, maybe even a bit too strong

How come it can still be used in chase? If devs really wanted it not to they would've made the timer 10 seconds or something.

well if you use it in chase you either sacrifice a lot more distance than you gain because the killer has to be miles away or you hop into the locker with Q&Q and the killer needs some seconds to notice what is going on, after he wants to open the locker (first scenario i mentioned) or he is completelly lost and that he walks by your locker is complete luck (second scenario i mentioned). what i am saying is that its not intended to use it during chase to gain distance not that its impossible. Ofc it is possible but it is more a gimmic, not a viable strategy.

same with any means necessary for example. there is a 4 sec activation time so you cant just pick a pallet up mid chase to stun the killer twice, but to reset pallets the killer didnt kick. Still its possible to use it during a chase either if the killer is a bit lost and doesnt know where you are for 4 sec or if he keeps doubeling back for 4 sec to mindgame you and you just reset it.

I hope you get what I mean now

Im pretty positive the devs are working there hardest on the game, so what is complaining gonna get you?

PLS tell that to Tru3ta1ent!! He is the most entilted Killer main I've ever seen.

But yeah you are 100% right. In my opinion the Devs did an amazing job and are still adjust the game to be even more balanced. At the moment both sides have a fair chance to win. The only thing that still can make games really unfair is the different equippement people can use so if a killer takes the best perks, add ons and a mori he will win against some casual Survivor team but if a sweaty SWF with coms faces an add on less killer he will have an impossibly hard time too. but idk how to fix that either ngl

  • head on's 3 sec activtion time has nothing to do with the 3 second stun. the 3 second activation time is to Prevent you from using it when the killer knows you went in the locker to head on him. what i mean by that is so you can't go into a locker after a hit or when he is picking someone up in front of a locker or something like that. the Purpose of head on is to stun him when he wants to upen the locker not to stun him mid chase or sth. of course with luck or in a SWF you can also use it when he just walks past the locker.

  • All the people who say Adrenaline is not broken don't know about it's full potential. Obviously it's annoying if you chase an injured person and then he gets an insta heal and zooms accross the map but that is not necessarily the problem. The bigger problem is the instaheal itsself. If you face a team with 4 adrenalines, you can't snowball any pressure when there are only few gens left because as soon as they finish the last gen they all get an instaheal, what makes it impossible to split pressure or even slug. That means, it allowes survivor to play agressive and get away with it during the time, the killer has the most map control. The sprintburst definitelly makes it worse because you don't just get healed but you also get away without getting hit again. So yeah i think that change would nerf Adrenaline but it would still be a good perk for 4 man swf's.

  • Well I think the Devout Emblem needs a rework. The way it works currently, focuses too much on kills. For example you can't even get an Iridescent Emblem without 4k-ing. Likewise you always get a Silver Emblem for a 2k, no matter whether you got 2 or 10 hooks. To solve problems like these, I suggest, the Emblem should work more like this:

You should get 10 points perk kill (instead of the current 20), 10 points for every 2 hooks (instead of just the current 10 points you get for 9+ hooks) and 20 points for hooking everybody (instead of the current 10). With that system you could get a maximum of 120 points, if you get a 4k with 12 hooks. 100+ points should result in a Iridescent Emblem, 80+ points in a Golden one, 50+ in a Silver one and 30+ in a Bronze one.

A system like that would reward you better for getting a low amout of kills with a lot of hooks, but punish people who get a lot of killes with tunneling or camping. It also gets rid of the need to slug for the 4k to get an Iridescent Emblem because would get an Iridescent Emblem if you 3k with 10+ hooks. Additionally you would get rewarded with a Golden Emblem, if you get a 2k with 8+ hooks, instead of the Silver one you would get, if you just tunnel 2 people out of the game.

  • Adrenalin is not a real exhaustion perks because its completely different then the other exhaustion perks
    Good survivor:
Dead Hard (makes you a 3 hit if you know how to use it)
Sprint Burst (if you know how to sprint control you can get a boost whenever you want)
Balanced Landing (makes hills a viable place to go but you have to find one)
Lithe (like sprintburst but worse because you can only use it when vaulting)

    Bad survivor:
Lithe (killer doesnt get a free hit when he double backs and you vault
    Balanced Landing (same as above)
Sprint Burst (you will either waste time walking around or dont have sprint burst when starting a chase except if you were repairing a gen and the killer is coming)
Dead Hard (works only one time, after the killer will just wait till you used it)
