Is it in the Game right now? Because i cant find it. :/
The new system won't be added to the game until May. What was revealed today was just a preview.

This is something that's been happening to me consistently, ever since the 400% incentive was introduced for this version of 2v8.
During the morning/afternoon, the 400% incentive (300% now) for the 1v4 queue will always be there with no issue, but in the evening/at night, it will randomly disappear and there'll be a 50% incentive for killer instead. Logging out and back in doesn't change it. The only way to get it back (that I know of) is to play a game of 2v8. The 1v4 incentive will usually be working again once that's over and I'm back in the main menu, but it usually only lasts for a single 1v4 match. Then I have to play 2v8 again.
Basically, in the evenings, I have to keep going back and forth between 1v4 and 2v8 if I want to play 1v4 with the incentive.

Something like that just happened to me. Got slammed, then instantly downed by an M1.

Same thing is happening to me.

I understand it's taking some time to go through the system to everyone - is there still trouble with it?
I have the 400% incentive in 1v4 sometimes, but it will always disappear again after I play a match of survivor. Logging out then back in doesn't bring it back, but playing a match of 2v8 does. It's definitely bugged.

Oh, so an outfit vote? Like they do every now and then?
No, they had a challenge in one of the episodes of Dragula's latest season back in November, where the winning creation from that episode would be turned into a killer cosmetic in DbD. The Boulet Brothers are also supposed to get a cosmetic for a killer, as well as a badge/banner, but it's been 2 months since that episode aired and we've had no news for any of it.
-
For the past few months I very rarely got matched with killers with 200+ ping before, but I logged on to play 5 matches of survivor this afternoon and 2 of those killers had nearly 300 ping. Either something has changed, or it's one hell of a coincidence.
-
I'm split on this rift.
The only cosmetics I like belong to killers, but whenever you play killer, you can barely see your cosmetic in-game so I don't care. As for the survivors, I think most of the rift cosmetics range from mid to downright ugly. The only redeeming part to me is Renato's torso and legs, but I still hate the head. And don't get me started on the travesty that is David's skinny ponytail… Not to downplay all the work that went into designing and modelling it all—I know it took a lot of time and effort. They're just not for me.
I'll still unlock the premium track—I play enough to always reach the end of each rift and you get the cells back—but I won't use any of the cosmetics we got this time around. My desire for simpler, more everyday clothes increases with each collection…

I received my stats earlier today, but I doubt they're entirely accurate.
My email said my most played survivor was Felix. I used to main him for maybe my first year, so this would've been true back in 2022, but I definitely only played as him in a handful of matches over the past couple years. I'd assume Jeff would've been my most played survivor in 2024, due to him still having hundreds of anniversary offerings I've slowly been working my way through. Maybe Gabriel instead, but it DEFINITELY wasn't Felix.
-
I've been keeping track of which survivors I see since June, and the results are as expected (I only count those not on my friends list, so when I'm playing in a SWF, I don't add them to the results).
The most popular survivors are:
- Sable (170)
- Lara (159)
- Feng Min (114)The least popular (not counting legendary survivors) are:
- Baermar (5)
- Jonah (6)
- Quentin (6)If I do factor in legendary survivors, the least popular is Tubarão, who I haven't seen a single time.

We need more better looking cosmetics for the POC survivors
Definitely. It would also help if certain survivors didn't feel like they were set up to fail, suffering from some combination of:
- a lacklustre default cosmetic
- lacklustre perks
- the majority of their other cosmetics upon release being recolours of their default
- only having a single purple rarity cosmetic
- no green rarity cosmetics
I'm mainly speaking about Gabriel here because I'm biased as a P100 player, but he could've been the next Felix or Vittorio. Instead they did him dirty in the cosmetic department.

I'm not excited, to be honest. I don't dislike the Houndmaster or Taurie, but neither interests me. The only thing from the PTB that did was the new map, but that won't be coming until next month. I am still looking forward to the livestream though; I'm hoping it will include previews of upcoming cosmetics, and we'll get a glimpse of the long-awaited Gabriel cosmetic we were promised a few weeks ago.

I believe it's due to a difference in how previous license agreements have treated killers and survivors. From the very first license, every contract Behaviour has made with another IP would have likely outlined that licensed survivors like Quentin and Leon would interact with other licensed content, so Behaviour would have experienced no legal issues by including licensed survivors in 2v8. However, the implementation of 2v8 is relatively new, so previous licensing contracts would NOT have had stipulations saying that licensed killers would interact with other licensed killers.
Going forward, I'd guess that Behaviour will change their contracts so license holders have to consent to a licensed killer playing alongside another licensed killer before that IP comes to DbD, but it's not a guarantee, just a theory—and as for licenses that are already in DbD, that depends on if A) Behaviour is willing to take the time and potentially the money to go back to each holder of the licenses they already have to renegotiate the contract and allow that killer to appear in 2v8, and B) if each license holder will say yes or no to it at all.
-
Developer updates are usually posted on Thursdays the week before a PTB is due to start. Then the following week, Behaviour usually releases full patch notes just before the PTB goes live on Tuesday.
-
I'm particularly disappointed that the space suit is the outfit they chose to recolour for Gabriel. It's not like he has a lot of options because Behaviour don't give him much, but in my opinion, the bulky space suit is his worst cosmetic by a mile.
-
I'm here, a poor Jeff main, waiting for my artsy metal man to get his time in the sun too. It's disheartening to see other characters get their second tomes before several others even have a chance to get one. A Felix tome would be nice too.
-
Swamp is also pretty damn bad about generator placements, especially Grim Pantry. This screenshot is from a match I had during last year's anniversary on that very map, in which 6 out of 7 generators spawned pretty damn close to each other. Luckily for us, the Wesker seemed relatively inexperienced at playing killer, so we managed to get all 5 gens repaired, but it would have meant a swift and inevitable death for all of us if we'd been put against someone else.
-
My thoughts just from playing a few matches earlier today.
The pros:
- Switching between characters now feels much smoother on PS5 than it did before.
- Slightly smaller icons means less scrolling when selecting survivors/killers.
Cons:
- No way to quickly swap between survivors by just pressing a button.
- The search bar is conspicuously large.
- Swapping out charms is incredibly clunky.
- Characters you don't own are no longer greyed-out at the bottom.
- Names are ridiculously small on the HUD inside of matches. I could just barely read them on my TV before, but it's impossible now.
-
I've also had this happen to me.
I didn't save the footage, but there were 2 generators left. I was on 1 with 60% progress, a teammate was on the 2nd with 90% progress, another teammate was being chased by the killer, and the 4th was already dead. When my teammate completed their generator, mine completed at the same time, even though I still had around 30% progress left to do.

As someone who has Jonah at P100, I would also like to know the answer to this.
-
The same thing happened to me. Should've got 1,150,000 bloodpoints, but only just over 80,000 actually appeared when I got back to the lobby. I captured the video of it.

The new skin does have a new lullaby, and it's pay-to-win right now. Since the lullaby is so low, it sounds super quiet from the survivor side and it's difficult to tell how far away the killer is. The grunt she makes when winding up a hatchet is also so quiet that it's nearly inaudible.
-
I second this. I bought Jonah and David's new cosmetics and was disappointed to learn the banner only comes with Kate's, a character I never play, even though all 3 outfits are a part of the same collection.

You can still have casual clothing that's still space theme'd, one does not exclude the other.
Also i'll never get the people who wants modern cosmetics for Gabe but takes massive issue with Vittorio getting modern cosmetics just because he's from the dark ages, either all Survivors can have modern clothing or nobody can have modern clothing.
I don't have an issue with Vittorio getting modern cosmetics—in fact I vastly prefer them. I was merely pointing out that I've seen some other people share those opinions and this could be a reason why Behaviour are being so strict with the theming of Gabriel's cosmetics.
And in terms of casual cosmetics, I meant just simple stuff that doesn't have a "theme". I've noticed a big trend that certain survivors always seem to have rigidly themed cosmetics in terms of prints or decals, like Kate having guitars on her Cozy Break cosmetic, or Jeff nearly always having metal band logos on his like he does in that same collection. This neglects any other aspect of their personalities and/or lore in favour of one idea repeated again and again. Not all of Kate's cosmetics have to be music-themed. Not all of Ace's have to be gambling-themed. Not all of Jeff's have to be metal-themed. Not all of Gabriel's have to be sci-fi-themed.
-
I'll buy shirts for Jeff and Gabriel, but I've never bought a killer cosmetic and never will since you don't see it in game yourself.
-
I'm a proud and unapologetic Jonah simp. I just finished getting him to P100 last week.
