So T1 Myers AND spine chill got buffed? I'm only seeing positives here.
-
Wow, thank you so much for providing a summary!! Every time I watch a dev stream, it always feels like it takes forever for them to get to what I actually want to hear, so thank you for putting in the time and effort so I don't have to! LOL
-
Jeff's beard in his Metal Jeff skin just freaks me the heck out. Why does he look like one of the tree people from Lord of the Rings?
-
Yes
-
I would say it only depends on you as a player, since some players are good enough to not need one while others may need it because they're still learning or aren't confident enough to play without them.
-
Nice killers that let you go or meme around with you :)
-
Undetectable doesn't block spine chill. It blocks aura detection perks only. The Shape's Tier 1 Evil Within previously blocked spine chill and premonition, but doesn't anymore with the addition of undetectable. There's a thread here, specifically talking about the nerf (it's not but agree to disagree).
Edit: fixed the link and some typos

I know it's you, PainReliever

Yeah, it's really unfair how survivors can basically 180 a match that's in the killers favor just from one perk with no drawbacks or counters. It just does too much, in my opinion.
Adrenaline is used only once per match. I don't feel it's OP
The only potential Nerf I could get behind with adrenaline, is if the survivor is healed one health state, to take away the sprint burst for 5 seconds and only allow the sprint burst to activate if you are already at full health.
I feel this is a good balance to counter the insta-heal even after being hooked that's really the OP part. Or maybe it could even be temporary, like I've seen it suggested? Similar to the haste status, but just temporary Endurance until the effect is over.
-
Oh man, this takes me back. It was against a Huntress at... I wanna say shelter woods, and I was playing as Claudette, and I think I had brought we'll make it and empathy for my perks. I like to think i did pretty good for my first time, I ran to get unhooks when my teammates would just run off as soon as they heard the terror radius, I managed to get two generators by myself, but eventually the Huntress picked us off one by one when my teammates bumrushed the hooks so I died when she eventually happened to find me at a generator.
-
They're probably new since I've noticed only newer players get spooked when they hear the terror radius and take off, while more experienced players will just unhook anyways unless they can see the Killer coming back. Just be patient and kind with the baby survivors, they'll get used to it after a while and learn in time.
-
It's not as bad as the old DS but as it is, it's still a 60 second immunity from the Killer and encourages slugging, which isn't fun for either killer or survivor. Adjusting the timer or making it so that it deactivates upon being fully healed would make it still viable, but not as oppressive to killers as it is now.
-
I love Wraith's whole backstory, and how he tried to save the man before his boss killed him, and his power is just a cool concept overall. 10/10, love the spoopy boy.
-
This would actually be better as a buff to blood warden though, I could see this being useful even as a hex totem or just as an alternative to NOED
-
Even streamers like Puppers and Monto agree that the Legion needs a full power rework since his power is literally garbage after his nerfs. You hate to see it.
-
...Too far?
(Kidding aside, his mori could even be like starting a saw blade and pushing the survivor face first into it! That would be pretty rad, js)
-
I watched SuperButterBun's video on it with her friends and it looked so fun that I just instantly bought it. Highly recommend watching!
-
I don't think the game will ever really be balanced, or at least not to where either side is 100% happy, but i think it's pretty close as it is, mostly just some bug fixes and a few changes here or there would make the game pretty great.
-
Ohhh the Groom, for sure 😍 He could make me his "Bride" any day, if you know what I mean
-
They could even use the same tech they use for moris for this, where the mori icon pops up when in front of a survivor, but just the hex's icon when standing in front of the totem. Seems like a pretty reasonable QoL change.

Isn't Jake asian?
I believe he's Korean, considering his last name is a common Korean surname, but his specific ethnicity hasn't been confirmed iirc
-
I agree. It's annoying to people I'm playing in the same room as, not to mention killer on my keyboard. I wish they'd make it more interactive, like Doc's snap out of it skill checks, or just press and hold, anything besides the frenzied button mashing.
-
Protection hits should definitely be looked at as a mechanic because they feel so inconsistent to earn, like jumping in front of teammate being chased or carried might not count towards WGLF but getting hit when across the map from another survivor somehow does? it just feels so random at times.
-
These all sound pretty good, compared to the way they are now. 1 sounds more fair considering the skill required to actually hit hatchets, 2 sounds like a flat nerf but could be good, and 3 could be interesting but I feel the amount of time for the Exposed effect is too short for most Huntress players to be able to catch up to those survivors, especially since her hatchets don't count towards Exposed hits.
4 is my favorite personally, especially with the full 120 seconds of Broken effect, since it still gives the game a sense of danger when survivors do get hit but without the unfairness of a one-hit from across the map.
5 is the weakest of these suggestions imo, and 6 would be good if the Huntress didn't have a map-wide lullaby already alerting survivors to her proximity. Unless you meant it would silence her lullaby, then that would be REALLY good!
All in all, I really liked your suggestions! They're all very creative and could add excitement to the game instead of just number tweaks. Good job!
-
Their power wouldn't even necessarily have to do with seeing survivors since their doubles weren't supernatural in origin, but I'd be excited to see whatever power they end up giving Red!
-
I try to save everybody as soon as i can when I know it's safe, and I don't even mind trading for them as long as they get out safe.

Before actually going for something like this, ask yourself these questions:
- What does it add to the story?
- What does it add to the character?
- Does it change the character?
If your answer is "nothing/no", then maybe reconsider it. Yes, headcanons are fine and a lot of people think of David as gay already, but the devs confirming it wouldn't add anything to the story. Just... "Hey, here's a gay character now give us internet points"
Even so, technically everyone is already gay if you mean it as an umbrella term like queer. As far as I know, the devs have said that every character in DBD is bisexual, so I think you're going to have to settle for that.
"What does it add to the story" and "What does it add to the character" Why does it need to add anything? People are just gay in real life, they don't need a reason to justify their sexuality. And for "does it change the character", if David being gay doesn't change his character, then why does it matter to so many people if he is? It has nothing to do with gameplay so why can't gay people have just ONE survivor that's like them? There are literally like ten other male survivors you can project being straight on, so why crap all over gay people that just want to see themselves in their favorite game?
-
I immediately liked David because I think he's handsome and I'm gay for guys who are tough-looking but also care for their friends a lot so he was right up my alley.

I like this for Solo Qeue players👍🏻
I actually thought of this while playing solo! It's one of the things I wish I could have while playing by myself since I'm always paranoid about whether the Killer is nearby.
-
I try to stay stealthy since I'm bad at looping, but I at least work on gens if I know the Killer is occupied elsewhere. I usually get downed because I'm TOO brave, trying to work on gens or get totems done when I know the Killer's nearby.
-
Spine chill and premonition are perks meant to counter stealth Killers specifically like Myers and they're not 100% accurate either, seems fair to make Myers immune to aura only detection perks. Give him SOME counterplay at least
-
I feel like Small Game should provide a totem counter, or even just add one to base kit, but I also kinda like the idea of NOED activating like Haunted Grounds when the last gen pops to give the game that "oh shoot" moment. Either would be good, but I'd say both would be nice as well.

Literally a brand new account that's coincidentally called gaydavidking in a thread talking about a request to make David king gay. Something seems odd😄. Careful on how you phrase things, try to not to go overboard.
Nothing odd here, just new to the forums and recently made an account about a month ago. Haven't used it much besides upvoting in threads.

Heck yeah, OP, I'm with you! David King belongs to the LGBTs now and there's nothing you haters can do about it! *rubs my super gay hands all over David*
