    1. Doesn't justify the perk lasting for 60s
    2. Doesn't apply to the perk being active really
    3. Fair counterplay, but stacked with unbreakable still doesn't justify the perk being active for 60s
    4. irrelevant since I don't use mori's anymore
    5. Also irrelevant since skill checks are literally a base mechanic that can be mastered within 3 minutes of learning the game

And survivor's can choose weather they wanna use the remaining time of DS to be invincible on a gen! Ik I sound entitled af right now, but the reason why I believe the perk needs more of a severe risk is because how it can literally affect that course of the match!

However much like anything in this game, its justifiable use of a perk slot. If a survivor is using DS then he's not using other perks that could be useful to him. You usually find players run a balanced set of meta perks, a speed perk, a second chance perk etc. Rarely done ever see someone using all second chance perks, that is cheap but then so is using iri hatchets so I dont know what else you want to be said lol.. if theyre running all second chance perks then theyre sacrificing sneaking, gens, scratch marks, and other things.

The key thing here that fungoose and true talent and top guys like this say is "if youre spending too long chasing one survivor, you've ######### up." Or my other favourite is "if youre chasing someone who is good at looping, go for the weaker survivors." Tactically take out the weaker first and if one gets away then they get away. If you have to eat a DS then you have to eat it my friend and you have to realise when a survivor is deliberately trying to run you. Punish them later after you've got their friends out of the way.. I never see these guys struggle to not get 4ks usually and true will tunnel a survivor if he gets the chance but its not his go to play and he will happily eat a DS to get it over and done with early, ive seen him do it many times on stream.

  • It depends on your experience. From a survivors experience right now I have zero choice but to run it or be depipped back to the stone age because it picks up my gameplay where I am lacking as a player. If it changed to not being allowed to touch a gen then so be it, as I rarely get a chance to do that anyway.

The perk being super effective against tunneling killers, I agree! But I'm a firm believer that touching a gen or being healed should deactive the perk for the sake of balance and adding risk to the perk.

If you were to straighten it out this way you'd just have more survivors hanging around lockers. The way I see it is this, im not great at looping. I am OK at it but most of the time I screw it up playing on controller. 9 times out of 10 if a killer is going to tunnel me theyre going to get it. There is a risk on my part of not hitting the smaller than usual skill check and occasionally with frame rate drops and fat fingers i miss that too and im screwed. Its not perfect but its all I have as an average player. Like anything it comes with a strategy and a skill gap and its rhose players who you are likely having difficulty with from what you've said. Just my 2 cents though.

Yeah, your too 1v1 focused and not 4v1 focused, shouldn't have even replied to you!

Oh dear your opinion differs to mine, I only want to talk to people who have the same opinion as me!

A lot of perks have the ability to be abused, im sure some do abuse this perk but for me right now it stops me depipping to toxic killers. I have literally jumped on a gen a handful of times to force a grab over a slug to maximise its use, which is fair game. Either go for someone else, or eat the DS and get it over and done with.

  • Thanks lol. The community is far too toxic sometimes. We all need to be able to kick back and enjoy any way we can :)

So why is it ok for you to be invulnerable for 60s when you've

Been healed to the healthy state?

    Able to touch a gen?

If your able to do 1 of 2 or both of these things, than the perk doesn't need to last 60 seconds because it's obvious your not being and that the killer is pressuring someone else.

While DS isnt a so called anti-tunneling perk (yet it activates and it's counterplay is anti-tunneling) is it still ok to be invulnerable for 60s with NO DOWNSIDE OR RISK?

I am very rarely healed to a healthy state by my fellow survivors. Most of the games I've had today is being farmed off the hook by idiots and bigger idiots trying to put me straight back on. Your comments may be an issue in swf but I play solo and its saved my ass a few times from other players stupid mistakes or tunnel visioned killers. Dont try and put me straight back on the hook and give me a chance to play the game and it won't happen to you. Simple as that.

  • I couldn't care less while playing killer in this game. I usually get 2 hooks on people and let them get out after that. Couldnt care less about killing them, i usually pip anyway. If survivors are giving me a genuine game I'll play properly but my killer rank is so under levelled from lack of use that its not fair me playing against rank 20s etc. I like to brighten up people's days while playing. Most of the killers I face are tunnelling asshats, its nice to make sure someone is being given a break once in a while.

Blendette's get mercilessly tunneled. People mention it in their profiles how they tunnel em. People hate on Urban Ev. users.

I'm sorry we're not all blessed with an algorithmic god-like knowledge of the maps, every hitbox, every trick, running the dirtiest perks imaginable as a nigh untouchable SWF team.

Some of us get our kicks watching a Killer search every bush in the map, because you a blendette, did so one time, and now he's convinced you're ALWAYS hiding in a bush.

Some of us get our kicks seeing just how hard we can fuNk with the Killer and waste their time entirely.

It's a legitimate part of the game. Stop acting like it's not.

If the makers were THAT concerned they'd stop making super dark blendy cosmetics.

    Stop. Hating.

This is also my preferred playstyle, its a shame it seems to earn you zero points for actually successfully avoiding the killer. Running around next to the killer and trying to teabag them gets you more points for those red pips so blame the devs for that crappy behaviour.

No! The perk needs to be changed because

    1. The perk is active to long and can be easily abused

    2. It can punish killers who play fairly and hook other survivors

Disagree. Since crossplay it has become my go to perk or else I'm forever being tunneled out of the game early. Its fine the way it is.

Uhh what? Excuse me.. but I have 10-15 minute queue times as a survivor every single day since crossplay. I'd love to know where you're getting 30 second queue times as a survivor.

I'm getting into games real fast since crossplay. Depends on the time of day but usually late afternoon early evening here in the UK. Never waiting for more than a minute on aurvivor queues. Only problem is every damn game im playing is utter dog crap against other networks full of cheaters. If i go back to xbox only queues its 10 mins per match while looking.

dude, as long as queue is as survivor now, I don't blame them for rather having you have wasted your own ten minutes in queue than themselves if they can drop the killer on you and get to play alittle bit longer. I started doing the same thing myself. It's not cheating, the game was originally designed for randoms trying to survive, and naturally, you would try to survive by any means necessary. That includes getting somebody else killed so you can stay alive when the option presents itself. There is a reason very few people are that selfless, we refer to it as "natural selection". Meaning those sort of mindsets don't keep you alive very long, and by extension, able to feed, nurture, and protect your offspring. So being Too "altruistic" is not something likely to be common, since it wasn't often passed on and when it was it was at a massive disadvantage when competing with selfishness. There is no right or wrong, those are social constructs, there is only do or don't do. And sandbagging is something I will do until I stop having ten minute (sometimes more) queues.

Theres no such thing as a 10 minute queue on crossplay right now, its about 30 secs at most. I had a bill running to different areas of the map letting legion hit him with feral to find where i was so I could get hooked and he got the hatch. Its blatant cheating, not just giving my position away.

  • This isn't the post I thought it was going to be. Honestly thought it going to be about genuinely playing bad killers where you can escape within 2 minutes and have so few point you actually depip for surviving. Theres something seriously wrong in the game if it allows this to happen.

Or when a killer goes wraith AFK in a corner and your teammates rush the hell out of the map and get you out fast only to lose points.

  • Generally speaking I reserve my right to play the game however I feel like.

I rarely play killer but when I do its usually very low ranks and against lesser skilled players, if this is the case I usually try and get 2 hooks on them all and let them out if possible.

If ive killed all your friends and you played a good game without being a dick ill usually let you go. I could care less about the 4ks and would rather show respect to a decent player.

If I tunnel a player I usually slug them and give their team a chance to get them back up. I dont often tunnel, usually its by accident following the rescuer and the rescuee and accidentally hitting the wrong one.

As a survivor I will try and do what I can to get a 4 man out and if I can't i usually die trying. This will usually depend on the killer im up against too however.

If im halfway through a generator when you get hooked, im finishing the damn thing first. As much as i love trying to help people there is zero point in me rushing just to farm you and get you put back on the hook while the gen isn't being done and nobody gets out.

Nerf BBQ so it shows all survivors further than 1M away from the hook, sounds fun

Fine by me, I'm a cautious player and usually as far away from the killer as possible. This however usually means its me that gets targeted while the others are all fighting over the hook rescue.

  • I guess thats my biggest downside. I dont really ever play killer, I find it boring. So I dont know what they can do at higher ranks and I'm missing the knowledge.

  • The Myers was a ridiculous game, my teammates literally took it he wasn't gonna attack them and just sat there feeding him. I often say bad teammates are way worse than a good killer.

The wraith I cant remember the addons exactly but his movement speed was fast as hell, silent bell and yeah he could see us from some range. He mori'd us all within a few minutes it was brutal.

Also ive noticed since cross play was introduced there seems to be a real go to meta for killers. Ive been playing literally about 6 hours tonight and virtually every killer has the same setup involving bbq, play with your food, nurses calling and the 4th differs from time to time but is usually thantaphobia or ruin. Its getting boring now lol.

  • I used to laugh my ass off when I'd watch JRM or Ayrun get these horrible hits through Windows that were clearly not hits or shouldnt have been. Im no longer laughing because apparently since cross play is now a thing, the massive extendable hits through windows and pallets are affecting consoles now too. Generally when playing against PC killers, or one would assume seeing as the all encompassing logo for another platform gives nothing away.
