  • Mmr changes, it needs to be based on more than just escapes/kills. Also increases and losses should be adjusted according to the mmr of your opponents. If I face a squad of fresh potato survs and they get crushed I should not gain a ton of mmr points, and likewise for survs. Also if I come up against a bully squad, even if they mess up and I kill one, all of their actions (stuns, flashlights, unhooks, dodges, long chases whatever) should lead to them gaining some mmr rather than losing it. Overall the amounts of mmr change should just generally be smaller too.

  • I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of drippy blighted skins so they don't do anything for me. At least they add variety I suppose.

  • The thing I don't really understand with all this is why people act like noed is an insta4k. It isn't, I've died to it and also escaped while it was in effect. It's always a nasty surprise but the killer still has to actually find and catch the survivors.

  • I feel like a good change would be dh only giving the i -frames but no distance. More like an on the spot dodge. Killer still misses and has their swing cd applied, so it buys the surv a bit of time but they can't just boost away to the next safe pallet etc. That's what sb should be for instead.

  • I'm kind of glad its not on, just played two matches as killer and the lag, rubberbanding and hit detection was abysmal. I had to leave it was so bad. Wasn't like this 2 hours ago, I hope it was just bad luck or something.

  • Dc after dc, infinite load screens and occasionally a match, usually gen rushed. Just had a guy running some sort of hacks earlier, no perks but whenever I hit him he would run at light speed and his scratch marks and bloodspots would disappear in an instant. Pulled him off a gen and camped him to death eventually, I hate hackers.

    Cenobite.

His power feels underwhelming to play, yet annnoying to survivors. Also i don't like most of add-ons. Very disappointing.

Also the licensing is very bleh on this chapter. His DBD original store outfit, according to dataminers, is missing a head for the outfit.

And of course. No voicelines. And NFTs. I wonder how different this chapter would have been if it was liscensed by Clive Barker instead of Park Avenue Entertainment.

His chains need to be sturdier, they break if a light breeze wafts through.

  • Dh is a bit irritating at times but I find ds more of a nuisance. At least with dh once you've seen it, you know they have it (although I assume almost every surv has it anyway) and you can bait it out. Most times they dh into nothingness and it does little for them. Good surv who know how to use it are another story though, dh to that god pallet or window etc.

just don't make it possible to 99 the gates

I agree with this, if you let go of the handle the gate progress regresses.

Good taste in nicknames, my dude.

Same to you, clown is great once you learn to juggle bottles properly. Plus being able to shut down loops early is a lot of fun.

  • Thanks guys, everything you said sounds like what I experienced. Buggy killer, shame as I am really getting on well with legion. Just have to persevere and learn to live with the bugs.

    Those were hacks, not bugs.

That could explain I suppose but didn't feel like normal lag switchers.

  • Yeah I had several times where I would vault but just be stuck infront of it for what felt like ages.

I'm a killer main. These perks are annoying, yes. But I don't blame them per se.

What bothers me is that the only negative aspect of being exhausted is that you can't use exhaustion perks. I think exhaustion should cost them more than that

Perhaps they could leave you needing to perform a recovery animation, a hands on knees deep breaths thing. A bit like a mend action but instead of taking a health state, you're exhaustion cooldown wont start until it's done. Or even you have a % ineffeciency penalty to healing and gen repair action until exhaustion wears off.

  • When your gameplan works out as killer its really satisfying. Congrats on all 4.

I had a match yesterday where I had a steve who wanted to be chased, so I did and let him drop every pallet across the map on me. He started teabagging at pallets, I guess he didn't realise I wanted him to drop the pallets. I broke chase a couple times to get someone else on a hook and then went back to him. Once I had got rid of a bunch of pallets I finished up with him and went after the rest of the team. All at madness 3, every pallet was an illusionary one and by this time my devour hope had 5 tokens, so I killed 2 myself and hooked the last 2. If steve hadn't helped me those pallets I don't think it would've worked out so well.

And there are lags, teleports, stutters, getting stuck / not being able to move.

As a console player I am upset yet again. Or still? Who knows at this point.

Playing killer the lagging and stuttering survivors has meant I've had many attacks just hit scenery instead of surv. Sometimes they'll just be standing there and I'll get hit animation (blood, scream etc) but they actually aren't there and there is no hit. I'm on xbox and prior to the update I had none of these problems.

I actually had issues with bad hooks lately a lot, I wonder if they did some changes...

I was finding this last night, sections of maps with basically no hooks. Maybe it was just bad luck but it's not usually this bad. Had to drop a number of surv. Was there something changed with the latest update?

  • Clicky clicky, pallet stun -> flashlight stun nea/feng/meg (usually one of them) are pretty annoying. Especially if there is also a head on user in their swf group. Can normally get 3 or 4 k when they are like this though because they're cocky and think they are invincible. With my main clown I don't care because they in a 1v1 he's a beast, same with doctor just means free zaps and every broken pallet is an illusionary one later. But I've just started learning trickster and it's feeling pretty rough so far.
