" Killers can play bad and still win a game."
Oh my. I think I might have laughed a little at this one. This doesn't remotely hold any truth.
What did I say wrong? Go on, tell me. Don't act like it's not possible to play terrible and still get a four man slug. I do it all the time. I see streamers do it all the time.
Meanwhile survivors can't play terrible and expect to finish all five gens. That's just not something that happens. But I see you're way to biased to ever admit this.

An eye for an eye makes the world blind.
Stop thinking in Us VS Them and think about the overall health of the game. I say Fast Track needed this change because I used it first hand and could see it was not healthy.Define what you mean by the "health of the game". Because you can argue something like Fast Treck (pre-nerfs) was needed in DBD. Survivors don't have the snowball potential killers do. Killers can play bad and still win a game. If you lose one of your fellow survivors at 3 gens then the killer has basically sealed the win. Imo, survivors need something that can swing a game the way killers can. Because the idea that a game can be over at 3 gens just cause you lost one teammate? That's bad game design.

Good, now lets move on to nerfing the rest of the meta perks across both sides so that people actually have to use their brain to play.
Oh, and btw, the perk is still good, just not absurdly busted anymore
Are there even anymore meta perks? Honestly, it feels like BHVR is afraid to give either side strong perks.

TBH, i quite lost faith in this forums. I discuss with those i feel that might be productive and that's it. I and others have been receiving downvotes even when saying obvious thing - even neutral stuff that doesn't revolve around balance.
People have been defending absurd, specially after the 9.2.0 PTB. Hope the devs at least have good sense in what is good feedback and what isn't.
Comparing Fast Track - maybe the strongest survivor perk before the today patch - to perks like Fire Up or Cruel Limits is absurd. Even for Deadlock there is a very common counter that makes the perk almost useless.
If the fact that Fast Track were on 100% of the matches on Hens "No Rule" tournament is no argument, then nothing will be.
Who cares about Hens and his stupid tournaments? Those are coordinated swfs. Of course fast track is gonna be overpowered under those conditions. My thing is the game shouldn’t be balanced around swfs because most of us play solo and a solo survivor with fast track is not about to make a noticeable difference.
-
The only "skill issue" is on the killer side. They had to give Ghoul auto-aim cause they know how bad a lot of killers are. And y'all can talk about nerfs all y'all want, but until Ghoul's auto-aim is gone I ain't listening to any of it.
-
I feel like if her whip is gonna be so powerful then she shouldn't be able to infect people so easy. Really, Krause is like Ghoul with that auto-aim crap. All you have to is point in the general direction of a survivor and Krause will infect you.
-
He’s the introductory killer. His power is fine for beginners learning the game.
-
I hope you’re joking. Killers are the ones who can play like crap and still get a 4 man slug. Survivors can’t play like crap and expect to finish all 5 gens.
-
The hooks are so close together that saboing is not even viable. The killer will be able make it to a new hook most of the time. Honestly unless you've got a full swf with sabo builds then saboing is pointless.
-
People still trying to gaslight others into believing Ghoul isn’t strong. Stop. ✋🏾
-
The devs have been waging war on blood points for the longest. They think everyone is gonna put 8 hours a day into this game.

It wasn't just Fast Track, no. I never said that. However, Fast Track coupled with other perks plus a brand new part? It's easy and consistent to do. We already had questionable perks, the new Fast Track is yet another.
As I have said before, these forums especially have a very US VS. THEM mentality between survivor mains and killer mains. I play both sides, which is why I am able to to see how insanely easy it is for me to solo complete generators now if I don't get tunneled out.Did you do the Fast Track/Specialist build where Specialist does most of the carrying? Also a build that no one will ever use because it takes too much time to set up? See this is the problem with people whining about Fast Track. They know Fast Track isn't all that so they put in very situational builds.
-
@AbsolutGrndZer0 said:
Been running it myself now for personal testing, and in just two games I have managed to complete an entire generator by myself in 10 seconds. Do I expect it to happen every match? No, it won't. Even more so as I tend to suck at hitting those BNP skill checks. But when I do? 10 second generators, 20 seconds without the BNP if the killer is 'trying to make sure it's a fun match' as survivor mains insist killers do.
There’s no way you completed a gen in ten seconds just using fast track. Maybe you were playing a gimmick custom game using potential energy or something.
Fast track is really not that strong. Content creators whose “job” it is to rage bait are the ones trying to get people to believe that. Really if you just want gen speed then hyperfocus + stakeout > fast track. Fast track is a decent comeback perk, but it’s nothing special. -
I don't think it's that good. Even at max stacks it doesn't give that much gen progression. Are people just saying it's overpowered because it can bypass slowdown? Yeah, well about that, the total percentage of maxium charges required to complete gens isn't reduced that much. I tried it out and thought it was a slightly worse brand new part.
And besides, isn't something like this perk needed? So the game isn't over once the killer tunnels someone out of a game early.

Anyone who says that "<insert name> killer needs to be deleted" shouldn't be playing dbd.
The devs have left Skull Merchant in the same state for so long…so? Sounds like they agree Skull Merchant is a boring killer. They don't even want her in the game.
-
I think people need to admit Skull Merchant is a fundamentally bad killer. Her power is just not fun for either side. I would delete her from the game if possible.
-
I honestly never liked the developers trying to make "looping" the meta playstyle. Apparently killers can play stealthy, but survivors can't? That's some bullcrap. It's already bad enough that they've added so many aura reading perks while gutting distortion.
-
What makes you assume players with a 1000 hours are good? See, this is the problem with the MMR discussion. P1000s are often the worse players I get matched with.
-
Disables during end game. Disables after "conspicuous" actions. Only lasts 60 seconds. I don't think DS is that great.
-
I don't even use exhaustion perks since they don't work with Iron Will. Thanks for that nerf, killer mains.
-
I don't get how people can enjoy Knight. You're basically outsourcing your job to AI.
-
There's been an uptick in Neme players because people know his zombies are better than any slow down. Now Neme gets free slow down and information on survivors all rolled into one.

B tier is usually considered slightly underpowered. He is enjoyable to vs and play as tho idk where u got the opposite idea
B tier killers are the most balanced. Calling Freddy underpowered is just wrong. But how is he fun to play as? His power is literally just hindering you. Oh and he can make fake pallets. So cool.
-
Freddy isn't weak. He's a solid B tier killer. He's just boring. They made him a little better, but he's still boring to play against and as.
-
It's crazy BHVR nerfed so many killer and survivor perks just for the sake of "changing the meta", but Pain Res is left alone.
-
I just don’t see the teleportation killers working in 2v8. Demo, Alien, Springtrap, etc. I think having two killers that can teleport might be too oppressive. But Clown definitely should have been in 2v8 already.
-
His M2 is way too spammy. That's the problem. Most killers are punished for using their powers and missing. Vecna can spam with no penality.
-
Toolboxes only last for a few seconds when repairing a gen. If's not even worth it to use them for gens imo. If I'm bringing a toolbox it's for sabo. Which is also kinda average considering how close the hooks are now, maybe that's why it feels so great to pull off a sabo.
-
His new voice is so lifeless and generic. Is Elodie the only person left with a good scene partner voice?
-
But it’s just easier to animate something that walks on two legs.
-
People are way too sensitive. Toxic is calling someone a very bad word in end game. Tea bagging isn't that serious.

bro has never played ghostface outside of shitter mmr in his life
lol. Here we go with the MMR argument. You have no idea what your supposed MMR is. But I've played killer enough to know that most games aren't against 4 man death squads. Most of games will be against noobs. And Ghostface is a noob stomper.
-
Let's be honest, MMR isn't a thing. This game favors queue times over all else. People just convinced themselves MMR was real because they needed an excuse for losing. "I lost because I was put in the wrong MMR".

Why does Deathslinger have a 42% KR then?
Source? If you can’t win over 50 percent of your games then you’re just bad. I don’t even play killer like that, but all of my killers are in the high 50s/low 60s in terms of kill rate.
-
Playing killer is already easy enough without every killer being able to zoom around the map.
-
Ghoul and Billy. And they don’t even need addons to be as strong. And before Ghoul defenders start talking about nerfs, just don’t. BHVR didn’t go far enough. His low skill floor makes him an S tier killer that is extremely accessible. That to me makes him as good as Nurse and Blight.
-
@bazarama said:
NOED is your counter to OP's point?
Really?
It's a hex and can be removed.
Come up with something real to complain about.
It’s an extremely oppressive perk that can swing a game you were losing. No second chance survivor perk is as strong as noed. Noed is the ultimate second chance/crutch perk.
-
Killer mains crying about second chance perks when no-ed exists. You're literally getting value for losing.
-
@killer_hugs said:
if we're honest.
Ghoul is a pay to win killer.
Blight and Nurse may be stronger
but Ghoul is S tier and extremely easy to play
In the past I've argued against DBD being pay to win; many times actually. But I believe due to his ease of use and overall strength he must be considered pay to win.
Blight, Billy, and Nurse also have a very high skill floor. There's no skill to Ghoul at all. I feel like like S-Tier killers used to be balanced by how hard they were to use, but Ghoul and Krause changed that.
-
Scene partner can be good in chase, but yeah, I don't use it anymore. It shouldn't be able to innterupt actions. Too many times I've been going for a hook save and I scream mid-save like a dumbass.

S-tier was only in his release state now he is high a-tier so he doesnt need anything, distance he covers fast so no need for compansation there and his vault wont be bugged like is now (50% hinder while he is vaulting) so it will be more skillfull (I get his vault should be stronger than weskers due to his limitation of being able to down or remove heatl states from injured survivors but how it is strong now thats too much in my oppinion).
Yeah, about that. What exactly did they nerf? Cause he still feels S-tier to me. His overpowered mask addon. His movement speed nullifies all exhaustion perks. His ridiculous hitboxes. What exactly makes him not S-tier.
-
Survivors almost always spawn together. Most of the time it’ll be 3/4 spawn next to each other while a fourth survivor spawns further. I can tell. I use bond.
Plus BHVR doesn’t want survivors realizing it’s more effective to spread out and do gens separately. -
All the events feel so lifeless now. 2v8 was the last innovative thing they came up with and they found a way to ruin that as well.
-
They nerfed Streetwise just when I wanted to test some hook sabo builds. So I guess bring back old Streetwise. Nothing to radical. Just a small change.

It's only punishing if you're DCing regularly. Everyone pretty much gets a freebie or two, then it slowly increases from negligible penalties to harsher ones. If someone is DCing so often to the point where they feel "forced" to play, then they have to start wondering why they're constantly loading up a game that they no longer find fun at all.
My duo has terrible internet so it's actually pretty punishing. I think his penalty got up to 15-20 minutes once.
-
I like him more than old Myers. Some people just can’t let go of the nostalgia. But if the only way to counter a power is to hop in a locker then that’s poor design.
-
Maybe survivors would use other items if BHVR hadn’t nerfed them.
-
We can not compare tunneling to stunning the killer. Blinding at a pallet doesn't even create distance unless you're using a specific flashlight addon. And even then it's not much. Meanwhile tunneling out one player is not only unfun for the person being tunneled, it effectively guarantees the killer a win. I mean, we all know tunneling out one survivor early is the easiest way to win as killer in DBD.
-
Just let people quit. All this forcing people to play a game they don't want to be in is ridiculous. DBD is the only game I can think of that tries to force people to play when they're not having fun.
-
I don’t mind Blight since has a high skill floor. Not like the Ghoul who anyone can play.
