Every single map rework has been a failure. All they've done is make massively survivor sided maps slightly less survivor sided without fixing any of the main issues why they're survivor sided in the first place.

Maybe it’s because more than 100 perks are either inconsistent or just flat out garbage
Yet survivors have many S tier perks, how many do killers have?

That’s a horrible argument, every match I go into killers are running sloppy butcher should we nerf it to
Sloppy Butcher has a 14% pick rate according to nightlight, so you should see it around in in every 7 games, windows you will see every game as killer.
-
When there's 100+ survivor perks in the game and 1 in 3 are running this perk that is a massive issue in itself regardless of whether you think it is too strong or not.
-
Botany and self care is good combo.
-
Due to the surge in adrenaline users and the hud changes there doesn’t feel like there’s a endgame anymore, survivors are literally waiting on the gate when the last gen pops so could be a good idea.
-
Knight ain't a killer they can bully so better for them to just give up.
-
its only worth chasing if you have a killer with a good chase power otherwise you got to hit and run. 80% of the pallets on most maps are completely safe and windows chain onto other windows which is too much for the average killer to deal with against good survivors. Exhaustion perks are just the cherry on top, now survivors can almost always reach that strong window or pallet.
-
For killer it has to be Forced Penance.
-
Thana was rightly nerfed but it didn't deserve the sledgehammer they took to it.
-

Changing one of these 4 things would make it more worth using and provide more consistent value.
1) The exhaustion cooldown should be 10 seconds
2) Endurance window should last for at least 3 seconds (The 0.5 second window was acceptable before the nerf but now it doesn't even make sense)
3) Allowing use before being unhooked for a maximum of 3 potential DH activations in a match.
4) Bring back original DH dash (my pick)
How about no scott?
-
I camp and tunnel every game,. Why? cause 90% of the killer roster can't win chases due to dogmeat maps.

Because Killer players like to overreact. And funnily enough, the only Perks which were really used for years were new Killer Perks. In every chapter you can be sure that at least one Survivor Perk will be called OP. Sad thing is that even Content Creators usually follow this route with at least one Perk each Chapter.
IMO it would be really sad if Made for This would be nerfed before it hits live, because it seems to be an alternative to Exhaustion-Perks. And for some reason Killers complain about Exhaustion-Perks a lot, but when BHVR offers an Alternative which can drive players away from Exhaustion Perks (personally, I still think Lithe or Sprint Burst are better, so Survivors will prefer those over Made for It), it is also not fine. Just shows that Killers just want Survivors to have super-weak Perks.
But I already think this will be a Reassurance-situation where the Perk will be made basically useless before it hits the Live Servers (remember Reassurance? That Anti-camping Perk which should not work against camping...). Because the Chapter will sell well, the Killer is at least decent.
Good Survivor Perks are nowadays only brought when they are cash-grabs like MoM or CoH. So we can expect the next strong Survivor Perk which will not nerfed from PTB to live when Nicolas Cage comes out. But I have no hopes for Made for It leaving the PTB like that.
Reassurance isn't useless
-
The thing with perks like Scavenger, Built to last, streetwise its not necessarily the perks that are broken, its the toolboxes. Toolboxes shouldn't increase repair speed, they should do something else like stop gens regressing beyond a certain point or make skillcheck misses do less damage or repairs are silent, stuff like that.

"You’re wrong it doesn’t cause exhaustion,"
Show me where I said it makes you exhausted. I said it cannot be used with a single exhaustion perk, because it deactivates when exhausted.
It can be used with any exhaustion perk except sprint burst.

And so does the new one. You cannot use a single exhaustion perk- easily the strongest survivor perks in the game- and any exhausted addons, mindbreaker, or that new Singularity perk, also disable it.
You’re wrong it doesn’t cause exhaustion, only can’t be used when exhausted. It’s gonna bring dead hard back to meta too.
-
Maybe because two of the new survivor perks are two of the most busted they have ever released, do behaviour not have an internal play tester who tests these things before release. The biggest complaint of killer’s by a mile these days is genrushing, so why on earth would they release a perk like scavenger is beyond me.
-
Yeah survivors are too strong.
-
Some of Gabriel's perks are completely busted. Removing quick scope wasn't enough to nerf deathslinger out the game so now survivors can run 3% faster every time they're injured v a 110% killer.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
They did - it's called +10s extra gen repair time and 2.5% progress loss on kick
If you can't stop gens, im afraid that's a you problem and not a game problem
Clearly never played killer in your life.
-
Behaviour should scrap their camping changes and just give reassurance and decisive strike basekit. Killers should get corrupt Intervention and Deadlock basekit.

"the devs are already fixing the maps"
lmao
Speed running your post being disregarded. The last 2 maps and every rework but haddonfield has been survivor sided.
Even Haddonfield is survivor sided too
-
So you didnt power the gens or find the hatch but you still want a guaranteed escape? Dedicate a perk slot to sole survivor if its that much of an issue.

We can't balance maps while we have killers like Blight, Spirit, Nurse.
Wats nurse got to do with map design considering the reason she’s strong is that she ignores the map.
-
BNP rework idea- If a survivor attaches a bnp to a generator that generator can never regress beyond 50% progress.
-
Ur not alone my friend, every one of my games feel the same, an absolute sweatfest.
-
The killer's that suck are the one that don't regularly use the most effective strategies, tunneling and camping FACTS

And there was a reason why only new players used the 32 second self care. It was a meme perk that got u laughed at for using it. 30 seconds basically is the old self care. If u actually play this game, then u know very well that teams are inconsistent and unreliable. If BHVR wanted better teams, they would have voice chat in the game and not make u find a Discord.
Nope Self Care was nerfed because it was one of the most used perks and behaviour even stated it was used more at high mmr.
-
He doesn’t need a rework just an add on pass and let his pallet add ons let u switch between snares and pallets or even make that base kit.
-
Medkit self heals even with sloppy are still less than old self care which was 32 seconds without sloppy and still less than altruistic heals which is 16x2. Sorry if ur not a one man army anymore and have to play as a team as survivor is intended.

Why would you use NightLight and not the official stats from BHVR?
When did BHVR last release map stats?
-
He’s not a top killer by any means but he’s certainly the best he’s ever been with all the main things that hurt him being nerfed like COH, strong medkits, flashlights and dead hard. Sprint burst and lithe aren’t really that great against him so he’s prob the biggest winner of the patch.
-
@Ghoste said:
What if I told you there are several Killer-sided maps? 🤯
Nightlight map statistics show that killers don’t have a 60% (what behaviour say is balanced) kill rate on any map
-
Her traps are in a good spot, her stealth and ambush are weak, either
Revert her terror radius to 24 metres like it used to be or
Increase her crouched movement speed from 90 to 95-100 and make syringe basekit
-
Might be controversial this one but STBFL is a tad overrated unless its on a killer that has a secondary attack.
-
Lullaby defo needs a buff. How about this- each token also makes the skill check 4% faster.

If they do that to every map then Blight and Nurse & Spirit in good hands get even stronger
Well nerf them obviously
-
Yes exhaustion is absolutely busted. If an exhaustion perk buys you 20 seconds in chase just once it is already one of best perks in game. All survivors have to do is not run for a full 40 seconds to get their free extend chase by 20 seconds perk back.
There's not a meta build that wouldn't contain one then all the survivor mains on this thread defending their precious op perks then are the first to complain that killers are tunneling and camping which killers are doing cause they can't win chases.
-
They need to make smaller less pallet dense maps so that m1 killers can actually win chases without losing 3 gens or failing that give survivors another objective like fetching generator parts out chests or something.
-
Well according to nightlight kill rate is only 53%.
-
@Agent_Himbo said:
I can't take any killer who thinks gens are flying seriously. Their tears made gens take 90 seconds, we just come from a meta in which killers would hold matches hostage for 40 minutes through gen regression perks. How can an objective "fly" when it takes a minute and a half to be finished?
Because 3 surviors can simultanously be on gens at same time and at high mmr this is usually what does happen.
-
COH was in a perfect spot in the ptb, there was absolutely no need to make it 100% again especially as they have admitted that healing is too fast and hits don't really feel impactful enough then they go and do this. Maybe when they were crunching their numbers on COH it must have slipped their minds to crunch the numbers on call of brine also which now saves less than 4 seconds if the gen goes untouched for the whole minute, but wait thats a killer perk.
-
It's not that bodyblocking is unfair it's that healing times are too fast, they'll bodyblock then heal with green medkit then 10 seconds later come back for another.
-
@Pulsar said:
These are literally the best Survivors in the entire world.
Comparing them to anyone else is actual lunacy.
You will not find anyone even CLOSE to their level in public games.
Well i seem to face these best in the world survivors every 2-3 games.
-
Honestly its gonna be a lot stronger than its getting credit for, think a few will be surprised 22.5 seconds of regression is huge.
-
Same as most of the roster, weak against survivors that hard split and can loop.

Pig? Never. She has the best Basekit-Slowdown next to Cenobite in the game.
Yeah but have you ever played pig against sweats. 3-4 gens will pop before you can down.
-
I would say the bottom 3 would be Trapper, Myers and Pig. If you include add ons then i wouldn't have Myers or Trapper in bottom 3 as both have some very strong iri's and purple's.
-
I would like a pallet counter for killer that shows you the amount of pallets that spawn on the map and every time a pallet breaks it reduces it so you know how many pallets are still on the map rather than feel like your going through a never ending pallet minefield.
Also killer HUD update, for example if i'm chasing someone i don't know if their oblivious coz of hex plaything or if its someone else.
-
@Chaosrider said:
Ask yourself how stacking 3-4 perks on a single objective is a good idea for the game.
Well consider the reasons why killers have to do it.
