3 matches so far I encountered Killers with TOTH builds in 7 days..
Let the brainless followers of Content Creators spread their "real" encounters..
Nerf it, revert it or let it be.. I don't care tbh. Tried it twice and all my totems got cleansed - like always (maybe should've played Killers who are able to protect them - but I didn't want to be that ugly).
I still rather play without Hexes

Not a shortage, but still a huge imbalance between killer and survivor. XP might convince some players who dislike the long killer queue times to switch. Personally, I haven't enjoyed 2v8 survivor much, so I'm back in the 1v4 queue (which is also not fast, I'm working on other stuff while I wait for matches) to see if I can get the Skilled Huntress achievement to pop. I'd go back to 2v8 survivor for a double XP bonus.
Allowing players to earn points by participating as survivor in 2v8, and those points going towards lessening your wait in the killer 2v8 queue, would also be welcome. As is, trying to play survivor in 2v8 feels like teammate-induced misery roulette with no purpose or reward.
Might be. Everyone can play as and what they wish/prefer :)

It can't hurt though can it? I'm sure there will be some people that will see the bonus and switch to survivor, which would absolutely help.
Sure, whatever (don't take this disregarding pls)
I can only speak for myself - when my Hubby and I are at home together we queue up as Killers.. And if it takes 30 minutes. You could offer us as much bonus for the Survivor side as you want - we won't take it. This mode is limited for now and we will suck up every second of it. And I'm 100% sure that we're not the only ones who think this way (and if he's not at home, I'll play with my friends as Killers.. Only taking the Survivor if actually NOBODY is available for Killer).
-
Mandy already stated in another threat that there is no shortage on the Survivor side - Player who want to feel and play the new Killer experience won't stop that - even for 1000% BP they wouldn't switch sides, I suppose

Usually I don't wanna be the one to bring the Us vs. Them mentality.. But in this case I will, since you mentioned the synergie of the instadown stuff.. This might be the first time that Survivors feel how those bully SWF squads feel like. Own medicine never taste good.
Apart from that - thank god not every killer team is like that. My hubby and I actually go for chases. We usually don't care about the gens. We also don't interupt groups of healing Survivors after they "unhooked" someone - we hate tunneling!
But in general you're right. Give someone the opportunity to be a jerk and many people take that road - no matter which side
-
I like to play him occasionally more often cause the maps have a different flare. They get stale after a while and his dream world adds a nice change to them

I'm the opposite.. I'm happy that he actually finally can be threatening - but I respect your feelings about it
-
It's player sided.
Have my highest escape rate ever as Survivor.
Also have a high win rate as Killer too.
IIf Both sides were equally interested in doing their objective it should be a 50/50. Meaning 4k vs 4escape
-
Okay, I step out.. If one mouse click is really that annoying for you I've got nothing more to say
-
It's- AFAIK- the first side kick of the DBD Universe. Of course it gets promoted since it's linked together.
-
A million Ads? It's one! And you can immediately click it away. Get over it
-
Only have witnessed two spots with invisible walls on McMillan. Everything else worked fine in my matches the past 8 hours
-
You can farm so much BP as Survivor in this mode.. You're basically doing coop-actions all the time. I haven't left a trial under 20k - it feels so good
-
Chaotic.. I'm having a blast ^^
-
It's not only hatch. Also those "Survive while x amount of Survivors escape". Those are tedious to do
-
All it takes is just ONE Survivor following here and whipe her traps or trigger them safe and she has no power and will never catch up in loops. Give her the 115% to at least be able to chase as M1 at that point.
-
Yep.. Wish they'd delay it

We'll be releasing our Hotfix 1 tomorrow! The update will address some known issues including players not correctly receiving the Endurance status effect, and the generator count being reduced when a Survivor leaves the tally screen whilst the Trial is ongoing. Thanks for your patience while the information was confirmed.
Thank you! <3

Do literally have to point out everything plain as day to you people?
"Slowdowns" in Patch 6.1:
- Generators take 90 seconds for a single survivor to repair (was 80 seconds)
- Killers kicking a generator now immediately cause a 2.5% loss of progress in addition to starting regression
- Time to kick a generator has been reduced to 1.8 seconds (was 2 seconds)
- Eruption Buff: Increased Generator reduction when a Survivor enters the dying state to 10% (was 6%)
- Eruption buff: Increased duration of Incapacitated status effect to 15/20/25 seconds (was 12/14/16 seconds)
- jolt: removed cooldown
Regression nerfs:
- Corrupt Intervention deactivates when any Survivor enters the dying state.
- Ruin nerf: Added: Once any Survivor is killed by any means, the Hex: Ruin Totem reverts to a Dull Totem.
- Tinkerer: This effect can only be triggered once on each generator.
- Pop Goes the Weasel: Changed regression to be 20% of current progress (was 25% of total)
- Patch 6.6: eruption nerf.
- Patch 6.1.2: Thanatophobia: drastically reduced the Penalty percentages from 4/4.5/5 % to 1/1.5/2 %.
- Pain Resonance: removed the Loud Noise Notification and no longer explodes the Generator, allowing repairing Survivors to continue uninterrupted.
To be fair, pain resonance has gone through many changes but since it's inception and up until now the net change has been: increase to regression percentage, no longer showing the killer your location, and a token system where it can only happen once per survivor. It is much weaker now than when it was first released.
…
Also, why would people open their task manager and close the game before they have seen any offerings, or even know if there are offerings at all? My whole suggestion was to make offerings completely hidden until the match actually starts. Seriously, I guess you people just don't read???
After they see the offering - I wrote after they see them.
Admitted, I forgot about ruin. But calling Corrupt and Tinkerer regression is a far stretch. Slowdown, yes, but not regression

It does not confirm what you claim.
It is indeed right what he / she claims.. Gen Regression was buffed (except PgtW) in 6.1.0. along with the raise of repair time to 90s. You yourself posted the link for the Patch Notes.. Have you actually read them?
Furthermore.. You can still shut the game via Task Manager after seeing the offerings without having a penalty except for restarting the game..

And windows
But those can be fun when the Surv accidentally jumps into the locker and I vault instead of pulling them out - hilarious moments have happened
-
They are right at some point.. No matter how many Gens you fix, how many unhooks and heals you deliver.. If you keep your hook states for yourself you're a useless and selfish teammate.. Which would be totally fine - if that's your playstyle - but then don't whine about their reactions

High tier killers like Spirit, Nurse, Pyramid Head, Wesker, Artist, Huntress, and Plague are all below the average kill rate too. Does this make them weak?
1st - I didn't say weak
2nd - This Post is about Xeno and not the other Killers you mentioned - return to topic
-
According to Nightlight Xeno has the 2nd lowest kill rate.. Which is a shame how they butchered this huge license.. But, as you said, at least it looks good.. If only that would count for something
-
And I would like to filter out every cry baby that thinks the world should only play the way they want
-
Her hook scream is one of the few convincing ones.. Please let it stay..
Regarding Plague I'm totally on your side - her coughing needs to be reduced a little
-
Everything that works will be hated. Equip what gives you the most joy

Does it makes sense to reward anyone EXCEPT those who got tunneled when tunneling happens, I feel that's weird kind of anti tunneling mechanics as those who got tunneled will get tunneled anyway, even if it rewards anyone else with free generators
Isn't the whole point of anti-tunneling argument is "because it'll stop a player from playing the game (which is objectively incorrect btw)", this doesn't change that result in any way
Those arguments why tunn eling is bad vary, as you already know. The one that you just mentioned doesn't count in my book since that Player GOT to play.. Just screw up / got screwed or whatever. I'm more thinking for the rest of the team to have a chance to fight back

Calling a game breaking bug "good for the game" is quite funny
I mean, if someone really gets hard tunneled out of the game, aka hooked THREE TIMES IN A ROW without anyone else being hooked, I could imagine something like this.. But not if someone decides to give up.. Or after a kill when multiple survivors have been hooked - that should be out of the question
-
@Iron_Cutlass said:

I mean it leads to two situation:
The Killer hard tunnels to force kills as quickly as possible to try and outpace this bug.
The Killer does not hard tunnel and spreads out hooks until the final Generator remains since past that point killing a Survivor does not matter.
Or 3rd situation - everyone gets to bleed out
-
Bring something to make them blind and watch the WoO addicts run straight into dead zones. It's so sad how easy you can down people with that..
Good Survivors won't care, IMHO,
-
I've only witnessed it when someone gets tunneled out tbh.. In every match where the Killer / or I hooked different people after each other - even if one was already dead, but not tunneled - everything went like always.
Honestly, I'd like to keep that.
-
Matter of taste I believe.. While I wouldn't mind I still prefer my hundreds of Flashies and Toolboxes over those cakes I most likely won't use outside of BP events
-
I'm running Object of Obsession.. Couldn't care less about Weave + Franklins
-
Feel the pain.. Whenever I want to play a Survivor that is not on a high prestige level other Survivor players keep dodging and dodging..

that’s an over punishing downside there’s probably better alternatives
Being able to see the aura of the trail building up towards them after it's casted - like Artists crows?

I actually had a louder sound cue idea in mind
Personally I wouldn’t mind if the sound of his POTD would be extremely loud base wise (except for charging the power keep the audio as it is)
Also the aura reading won’t work because undetectable status effect often removes the killers aura but a louder sound might do the job
Thinking more about it.. The sound cue wouldn't really help.. The PH player could simply spam M2 without finishing the move to annoy the Survivors.. Maybe if he couldn't cancel it - like Freddy with his Iri add on
-
Interesting stuff. Would welcome some of that.
But the 128m.. Add the downside that Survivors can see his aura - even when effected by blindness - while charging POTD and I'd like it
EdIt: or a sound cue
-
Wouldn't mind since I rarely tunnel but I'm convinced it won't have much impact.. A killer who wants to tunnel will still do it - "You're only postponing the inevitable"..
Also, most complaints are about getting tunneled out at 5 Gens.. If a team can't do a single gen before someone dies, what's another 30sec added to a chase? Then you get tunneled out at 4 Gens.. Doesn't make me happier compared to now..
Something needs to be done about that in the base game mechanics and not with another perk - especially, again, behind a pay-wall.
Can only hope that most killers cool down and will find out that you can also win without tunneling and that some losses, even in a row, is not the end of the world
-
I still love the event on both roles.. Granted that insta-hooks are a little too much for my taste - but that's my only criticism
-
I can live with the 100% as long as it doesn't silence footsteps also again
-
Good one
