I would like to know what are best addon combos for him?
The three range addons and three addons that increase the amount of time RoJ can be performed.
-
PH doesn't serve the entity, he serves Konami.
-
All you can do is ignore it and not care.
Not everyone is toxic, but if one out of four survivors is toxic, then you will have a toxic survivor every game.

It’s not the most consistent perk on him, I won’t argue, but the fairly high probability I wind up faking the shockwave and M1 instead is high enough I’ve gotten enough value out of it to appreciate it. I’m generally a fan of Surge though on any killer that is just as likely to M1 for the down as use a power for it, as the time saved is just so worth it on maps with verticality. I feel like that idea of “time saved” fits his strengths well, and it’s something I’m happy enough to keep for now. Made the break 50 gens/pallets archive go a lot quicker too.
Alright I will give it another try on him. And, believe it or not, I also like surge (look at my pfp).

Currently running I’m All Ears, Corrupt Intervention, Surge, and Infectious Fright. Feeling lukewarm about Infectious right now though, considering swapping it for something else, though I’m not sure what yet either.
I found surge to be underwhelming with him since it doesn't trigger if you use the ranged attack. How useful have you found it to be?
-
The perk sounds fun and would stop some of the bm from survivors at the gate.
But personally, I think they should just add a totem counter.
Totems have become a big part of the game, and deserve a counter like gens.
Many perks on both sides involve totems and a totem counter would benefit all of those perks. It would also nerf noed while not actually nerfing it, so killers can't be mad.
I would love for them to add a second perk like noed, a hex that takes over a dull totem later in the game. It would give even more of a reason to cleanse totems, which the devs stated they wanted to do.
-
Because of perks like furtive chase and nemesis, this would be way too strong.
-
Too many other variables, especially the fact that there is 3 other perks being used. It wouldn't be reliable data.
The best thing to see is what perks are getting used. If many killers run PGTW, you can know it doesn't need a buff. And if no one is using monstrous shrine, you can infer it needs to be buffed.
-
When someone gets caged, run for it if you are decently close. If not, keep pressuring gens.
Dead hard has saved me multiple times from his ranged attack, probably the best exhaustion perk to bring against him.
You have a better chance at not getting hit if you throw the pallet or vault when he is using his power. If you fake it, he can cancel and hit you, almost guaranteed. But there is a decent chance he might miss the ranged attack and be stunned for 3 seconds if you commit.
If you commit several times, fake it to throw him off.
-
If they do buff him, I think they need to also remove his ability to see cage auras. Many survivors have a problem with his ability to tunnel better than other killers, and I dont blame them.
Just removing his ability to see cages would be a nerf to a already not super strong killer, so I think a buff like yours would be perfect to balance him out, especially since many people also complained the trails are too weak.
-
Have had the exact same experience, the cherry on top is that my teammates waste the entire match looking for crowns that they will not get to keep because gens aren't being done and they wont survive.
-
I haven't even seen them address this as being an issue, when so many people have complained about it.
-
Survivors complain about the cages and killers complain about the ranged ability. So I think he shouldn't see the cage of the aura (he should get a notification when they are rescued) and they should buff the ranged ability in some way.
-
The purple addon he is using lets wraith see survivor aura within a 12 meter radius.
People can hack on console but it is extremely uncommon.
-
These are popular perks
WGLF - Were gonna live forever
PGTW - Pop goes the weasel
PWYF - Play with your food
M&A - Monitor and Abuse
STBFL - Save the best for last
Common dbd term if you didnt know
Slug - Leaving a survivor on the ground
-
If you use blindness addons, pyramid heads perk is good. When you kick a gen you lose your terror radius but survivors see the gen you kicked, using blindness addons stops then from seeing the gen.
-
He feels less perk and addon reliant now. His cooldown addons and STBFL felt needed before the change.
-
Pig would literally put you in a saw movie so I think that wins.
-
The game was balanced around survivors not being able to talk to each other. They only added survive with friends because of how many people asked for it.
If they did add in game voice chat, there would have to be serious changes to balance, which they probably couldn't handle.
-
4 blendettes on a dark map is ridiculous, even if I find them it is hard to hit them because you straight up can't see them.
-
@Eleghost said:
You can't pick yourself up but you still would get the endurance if you get off the ground. I think it works with unbreakable as well.
If that is the case then the perk is currently bugged, allowing survivors to recover after the hex is gone. I checked after and she didnt have unbreakable.
-
Im not trying to dismiss your entire argument, but you come off as trying to exaggerate doctor and down play other killers. Trapper can hold m2 for a second and shut down an entire loop, and if you dont look down during chases then game over. Demo can get so many hits that other killers couldn't because he leaps at you from 10 meters away, along with the fact that he can teleport across the entire map in 3 seconds. Any killer can sound strong if you describe their power in great detail, and don't focus on their weaknesses.

I have Plague and I've been running IF on Billy and Oni. CI hasn't been in much use and DD I haven't used once. I can't wrap my head around how to use it.
Corrupt intervention is very good on killers like trapper, demo, and hag. I honestly find it necessary on them. If you go with hag I recommend you use it.
-
It takes skill to be good with flashlights, and there will be a lot of losses while getting practice. I have also found that many killers are not good at stopping flashlight saves, they mess up picking them up or waste to much time getting a safe pickup
-
I pretty sure his main reason for taking a break from killer was all the sound bugs.
-
They are gonna have the 4th anniversary event starting the 23rd. If they took the couple months after that to take a break from content and focus on bugs and big balance issues that would be amazing.
-
If you pair ds with unbreakable it doesn't matter if they slug you or pick you up, you get away. But unless you find yourself getting tunneled quite often, you are probably better off using a different perk.
-
Even if it only lasts for 2 minutes, it is one of the strongest perks and doesn't need a buff. It isn't great on every single killer, but can feel almost necessary on trapper, hag, myers, and other characters that are extremely weak at the start.

Yes, but that's not the same as nerfing gen speeds. They still take 80 seconds to complete by default.
I said gen speeds are slower, as in the generators get finished in a match slower.

Gen speeds have not been touched in a very long time, what are you talking about?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1366680#Comment_1366680
Good point. I'll just edit my comment to reflect the context of my reply, then...
They nerfed toolboxes and increased the penalty for multiple suvivors working on a gen together.
-
I think they are biased towards neither.
It could be argued that they favor killer. They said that they wanted an average of 2 escapes per match, 2 kills. However, on average, every single killer is doing better than this. Despite that, they haven't nerfed killers, and have recently made gen speeds slower and tried to fix loops. This is because very few people play killer, and they dont want even less people playing the role.
However, they also, like you said, seem to constantly favor survivor. Nerfing ruin but not DS, taking a long time to fix grabs and sound bugs.
They aren't perfect at it, but I think they just want to make the game balanced.
-
It is pretty early to say, but I doubt he would end up being s tier or c tier. Probably B tier, maybe A.
-
All 3 killers are very good at utilizing infectious fright, they can easily turn one down into multiple.
Save The Best For Last, especially when paired with infectious fright, is very strong on myers and clown.
Also I recommend surge.
-
No one actually likes dbd, we just play it.
-
You get slightly better bloodwebs when you prestige. However, people have tested it and the difference is minimal.
-
It appears to be a bug.
-
"Billy's chainsaw is hard to control and you rarely get hits"
Dude I think you are just bad with Billy. He takes more skill than bubba. Watch a pro billy and you can clearly see that they have very good control and will almost exclusively down healthy survivors with the chainsaw.
-
They said they would release rift cosmetics in the store, at minimum of 6 months after the rift closed.

Just switch the order of the seconds. There is no rework needed for this perk.
And I personally wouldn't even focus on that perk because this "issue" is not really that bad. Tier 3 is still a good perk regarding it's purpose. You just get the information 4 seconds later if they are still on this gen or not. But you know that there is a gen where at least 2 people were working on, so even if they left it might be worth kicking it. Not the biggest problem in the game for me right now
Many people like tier 3 better, so the problem would still exist if they were switched. Also, tier 1, even though it is arguably better, is quite annyoing because of spammed noise notifications. And while it might not be that big of a deal, this is literally a discussion about the perk.
-
@Deadeye said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1363146#Comment_1363146
no it's not. unless you max out your characters it is most likely the case that you have perks not at tier 3. the average for a level 50 character for me is 3-4 pages of perks with not even one full page of tier 3 perks. with such a design it would mean that I can't use 80% of my perks. Again, as I said, they changed a lot of other perks for a reason, to have the main purpose work on tier one and just give a bonus with higher tier.
Next point: having the information when they leave is a pretty strong addition, that is why they have a lot of conditions on gearhead. If the perk works, it is a pretty strong information, the perk is just weak because you get the information very rarely at that time where you need it. If you would do such a feature to Discordance without any cooldown or prerequisites other than muliple survivors, it would especially in endgame become pretty OP
I guess we just disagree on this. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix the current discordance?

No, thats crap. On the one hand because you barely have 4 survivors sitting on a gen, on the other hand because most gens can't even be worked on with 4 people. Same goes for 3 gens, and with the new team slowdown it is not even recommended anymore to have 3 survivors on the same gen unless it is a very critical one.
This change would make Discordance a lot worse than the current "tier 3 is weaker" problem
I think weaker tier 3 is a bigger probem than weaker tier 1 and 2.

Which is what I thought, again making T1 and T2 useless on anyone but high mobility killers, since gens would be done before they could get to them
Then wait till tier 3 to use it on low mobility killers. My fix isn't perfect but I believe this is better than the current problem with the perk. Perks like agitation and bloodwarden and honestly most perks have very weak tier 1 and 2.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1363079#Comment_1363079
Which makes tier 1 and 2 practically useless on any low mobility killer since from their wording of the perk it seems to only activate with 4/3/2 people on the gen in the first place.
Tier 1 and 2 would be weak compared to tier 3, but that is how perks should be. Tier 1 would have it so discordance only activates if all 4 survivors are on the gen, with tier 3 having it activate if 2-4 survivors are on the gen.

Maybe if survivors don't have headphones or eyes it may give you some hits. Nearly every killer breathes, screeches, stompes, growls, or has other audio clues that are easy to hear without terror radius. So oblivious is a lackluster mechanic that works only at lower/mid tier of play
Im playing at rank 1 and it works, not every survivor is a pro gamer, have you properly given the perks a chance?

Its not really incomplete dude its a skin, the only thing left is for a voice actor and AGAIN theses things are harder than you guys think especially when working from home
If it doesn't have the voice it is incomplete, and if it is incomplete they should have waited to release the skin.

I don't agree at all, trail of torment obly works for 15 seconds and gives a visual notification to survivors everytime it's used. Deathbound is basically a bm. They healed far from you and you can't do anything to prevent them because they are already healthy.
Shadowborn is really good on hyper aggressive killers like the nurse or the huntress. Sloppy and bloodhound can be a decent tracking tools and predator is just a QoL perk
In my own experience ToT will get you suprise hits pretty often, and just because it is PH's perk doesn't mean it is meant for him, I have seen the perk work very well on legion.
Deathbound has let me know where multiple suvivors are, even if I dont go there the info is usefull. I have gotten suprise hits off the oblivious healer, and the perk will force survivors to stick together when it was better to split up.

the whole voice thing is most likely temporary dude, doing stuff like adding a new voice to a character skin is harder then you and others probably think, they most likely are trying to find a way to make it so Heather's voice lines and Lisa's don't get switched sometimes much like legion. they are probably still trying to get a voice actor that fits the role, also another thing to consider is, is that they are all still working from home
Honestly it is my fault for not realizing BHVR might release an incomplete product that they would fix later. If that truly is the case they should have held off on releasing Lisa.

omg some of you people are idiots..."LEGENDARY" SKINS ARE MEANT TO BE A DIFFERENT CHARACTER, "LISA" and "HEATHER" are NOT the same character it would make literally no sense to mix two characters together they are meant to be separate, I agree with the other HEATHER outfits though you should be able to mix and match those two
I agree that Lisa should remain seperate, I meant that all the other sets should be removed. And because Lisa is essentially just a skin for heather (because she quite literally is a skin you buy for heather and has the same voice) she should not have legendary status or legendary price.

@Seegson said:
Ash is trash. His perks are useless to say the least.
As a killer i would say pyramid head has the worst killer perks, even monstrous shrine is better than 3 of them combined.
Trails of torment and deathbound arent that bad, especially deathbound. It might not be as good as a nurses calling but is certainly better than monstrous shrine.
Imo Wraith has the worst perks. Predator is actually worse than using no perks, and the other two are almost useless.

It seems like old iridescent addons tried to be the strongest addons (didnt always succeed) while new iri addons try to be strong but prioritize being unique.
