The ‘fixed’ version wasn’t implemented into the PTB. I’d find it very odd if they went back on it, though.

Yeah that makes sense, I was just wondering why

If the game is going this way, I made this suggestion on another thread.

Killer downs last survivor and then has three menu options. Let's say for the sake of the argument, everything's ending in an animation.

    • Survivor gets killed as proposed.
    • Killer has the option to spare the life of the player and the survivor crawls out through the exit gate.
    • Entity Decides. RNG of one of the above.

Or just have a mori button and a carry button. Problem solved

I've been trying to do the twins challenges and a daily I had.

And the amount of times victor has died while pouncing on a stair case, or landing on a small rock, or even a little bump in the sand on eyrie is just frustrating.

It must be a recent thing to because I don't remember it being this bad when I used to main them.

Nope it's been like that since their ptb

this would be cool except i think the survivor should be anyone the player chooses

I only made it Dewight just so no one can just blend into a bush or something.

Normal people won't play solo, especially in this game.

But some people just don't have friends to play with at all like myself who have no friends because they quit this game because of how BS it is

Killer not leaving or killer leaving chases intentionally tunneling every game

Is anyone surprised? Like yeah 9/10 times they have no choice if they want to make a come back.

Agree. You can't simplify win or lose in DBD with just kills. Either they should have tweaked their emblem system a bit and still use ranks for matchmaking, or they should have implemented more value to SBMM.

Since day one, they kept telling that win or lose vary on too much, and we shouldn't downgrade it just to escape or getting 4k. And than go ahead and said something like "If you died, did you really played well in the first place".

Yes Dbd can be competitive, due to its multiplayer nature. But it is not a competitive game. It shouldn't define by a competitive MMR system. Randomization was what made Dbd exciting. You never knew what will the next match gonna be, and that was great. Now after I destroy a group of newbies and 4k in a row, I know I am gonna face some SWAT team. This predictability on your next games pretty much sucks the fun out of everything. Playing killer is high concentration sweat fest all the time. Solo Q is miserable as ever.

When you change something you expect it to be improved. But nothing improved after SBMM system, on the contrary the experience got stale and boring. They need to address this problem immediately imo.

That summed it up way better then I did. But if they seriously can't understand this then nothing is going to get better regardless of whatever content they shove at us.

  • Fingers cross it's really good

  • If he gets control of the box he is really strong and able to destroy even coordinated teams without that his meh

  • I can tell if you guys are joking or not

Yep exactly. Stuff like that shouldn't happen and Dead Hard should have gotten reverted once it became obvious that it was. The worst offenders are probably Twins and Nemesis. Usually with Twins, Victor flies through the person who used Dead Hard and past the point where the Survivor can kick him... but with validation stopping him, its a free kick. Nemesis... if he tentacles while you're lined up with a pallet either you or the pallet should get hit... but validation results in nothing getting hit.

That's why I wanted to make this discussion because as those killers you played well but are pushed because of a perk. It's not fair for the killer player who played well while the survivor played poorly.

Every new day there is a new thread about Dead Hard and i'm happy to upvote it.

    Thanks

it works the way it was always meant to.

the server decides whether you hit or not, so you don't get free hits anymore. the animation is just a visual bug with no impact on the game.

every hit should work like that.

you wanna blame someone, blame your internet provider.

I have to disagree you on this. Just because it works as intended doesn't make it a fair or balanced perk to face in game. It is a perk the makes every killer ability worthless for no cost and no effort which is way it should be changed. No perk or ability in this or any game should so powerfully that a player is punished for playing well because their opponent has a perk.

I used to be exhausted on the floor so often, it was really frustrating. But seeing this as the alternative, I would happily go back to how it was.

I can only imagine the effort required to fix this perk is just not worth it. If they fix all the problems, we will still be left with a perk that is too strong. I wish they would just make the perk into something different and then they can put their time and effort into something more worthwhile. Like bringing back nodding whilst crouching.

To make it completely fair without changing the perk would require so much effort on BHVR's part that they may as well make a new game

I reported teo people for such instances. One of them argued with me about the viability of tunneling, camping and that proxy camping from hook to hook wasn't patrolling. When I didn't concede to his POV he started throwing slurs about my perceived sexual orientation at me.

Another onehad actually a very good, yet sweaty, game against me, which I won, in the end. I said something "phew, that was an intense game", to which he said in some east European language, that I won't disclose here, that he wishes that my mother dies soon and that her funeral day should be made a national holiday. He also called me a shovel head.

I mean, if you have to throw around such insults, at least do it in English if you don't strongly suspect that the other speaks your language, what's the point otherwise?

But also, just don't. Wishing such horrible things on the other player or their loved ones is as low as it gets.

BTW, in case you don't know how to report: first in the endgame chat you can click next to the name on a button with a thumb up/down pictogram and report that player for grieving, language abuse, bad sportsmanship and exploiting. This alone is not much, but its very, very important (read mandatory), as this creates a ticket in BHVR system with the names and date of everyone involved.

Next make a Screenshot of the endgame chat. If you are using Steam this is F12. In epic or on console, I don't know.

After this go to this link

    https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

And chose "additional player report information".

There you can write what happened, have to provide your very own player ID number, which is extremely long and can be found at the very bottom of the in-game configuration page, and also upload any screenshots you got of the incident. You will also ask if you already filed an in-game report.

This all takes quite some while and might feel a bit excessive / petty, BUT it's the only way how we can give the bad apples a stern reminder that their behavior is not cool. I don't expect that they will be banned, but I guess that even an email with some questions, and the knowledge that you are now reported, might influence a lot of this peeps to curb their lose mouths and behave a bit better.

On on playstation so that option isn't there.

    Never.

I don't keep tabs on every person i've reported to see if they've been banned or not. I report, move on and forget about them in 5 minutes.

    Fair enough then

  • @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:

    They are.

    Report them.

When was the last time you saw someone in this game reported for saying such horrible things. I advice is just make your profile private and skip end chat
