I like how everyone who doesn't develop the game always thinks everything is easy.

Not to imply that Behaviour SHOULDN'T fix issues; it's just that this mentality is unbelievably myopic.

Oh, also the OP's idea is not good. Remove all information and effectively make it random? Seriously?

Yes, that's why I suggested awarding more emblems and blood points to make an incentive to cleanse them all. It seems I always hear people clamoring for a second objective well this would make it one.

  • I think it would be a good idea if they also removed the Flames from hex totems and rewarded more emblems and bloodpoints to survivors for cleansing them.

But that would just make Hex :Ruin mandatory.

    Just fix totem spawns .

    Ez fix.

I don't understand, why would it be mandatory? And is it really an easy fix? If so why haven't they done it yet?

Keys and moris should be ultra rare. Like ultra ultra rare. Plunderers instinct offers me a key almost every match. The game is useless without ruin, killer sided. As soon as its found its basically game over. Camping the totem is boring and stupid. Its better to use the gen pressure and people pressure. Ruin should be free, part of the entity. Everyone should have there own ruin also that aims at them. Face camping, or hook camping should result in killer becoming blinded. Btw the totems should not be flaming, my personal opinion. Totem and hatch spawns are a joke, even i know most of where everything spawns.

I agree that hex totems shouldn't be flaming. They could obviously still give the Thunder notification so you know you hit one. Also maybe have them give better emblem points or more bloodpoints to survivors to incentivize them using them as a secondary objective to lengthen the game a little bit.

that would break and ruin the game for both sides

Then why did they make swf easier to do without adding some downside to it?

  • I just started playing the game a couple months ago and when reading up about it before buying it I thought flashlights we're going to be a much bigger part of the game. I was kind of disappointed they aren't but at the same time I'm kind of glad they're not because it does suck getting blinded. I would be okay with them having other effects like maybe just slowing the killer at times instead of fully blinding him.

  • Don't even Camp them when gates are open and everybody else has escaped? Just supposed to walk away and give them a chance, got it.

  • It's not a hack, there are no hacks on console. I've seen at least four or five videos on Reddit of console players showing themselves running really fast for a whole game after getting hit or dropping from a distance or some other thing. It's somewhat of a known bug but no one is really sure what triggers it. Definitely not hacks though.

  • As a new player and someone who just started maining Ghostface and absolutely loving him, can someone explain to me what this means?

  • If a link could be provided that would be great. I've been searching for more lore and it's hard to find.

Vigo did a lot for survivors,

Vigo owned the first Engineer's Toolbox

    Vigo made the hatch

Vigo even made the Pustula Nectar formula.

However, due to all of the above feats it's likely that the Entity got tired of his tinkering with her realm and captured him.

Where did you read this? I've been searching for lore and stories but it's hard to find.

The game should be fun for everyone. It’s not fun for survivors to be hooked then tunneled JUST TO TO BE KILLED. it’s no fun. You get no BP’s....you must be slow. Or a sweat yourself.

Nah, just started playing like a month ago. Still trying to figure out what the community considers fair and not in this game. But apparently if somebody uses something in the game that makes you lose your allowed to call them sweaty. God forbid anybody should actually try and win a match with the best items they have.

  • So Killers aren't allowed to use those if they don't want to be called sweaty?

  • On PS4 absolutely. As a pretty new player and rank 18 killer are was getting amazingly balanced games these last two days. Where as previously I was getting survivors as much as 10 levels better than me, now they're all at least within 4 levels of me and I can actually play some good games. previously I would get stomped and a couple games as killer and just switch over to Survivor. Today for the first time I was able to stick with killer all day and even got a couple of 4 K's. It was incredibly satisfying.

  • Just my two cents here. I've only been playing the game for nine days and I like the map. I'm only at rank 12 now so don't know a lot about the game and don't know anything about looping. But as Survivor it seems to me the killer has enough of an advantage because I can never really tell how close he is to me because of the multiple floors. But as a new player it has enough areas for me to run through I have a good chance of escaping a Chase. I also played against a ghostface earlier that seemed like a good choice on this map with his stealth abilities. I did play one round on it with the doctor against players who were ranked 10 higher than me and somehow ended up doing okay. I suck at chases but was somehow able to kill two of them so it can't be that terrible. Again just my opinion here.

  • Is this some PC issue that I'm too PS4 to understand? I just started playing like a week ago right before the rank reset and haven't experienced any unbalanced games so far.

  • New player here, I seem to be terminally bad at running away from killers. Kind of a game killer for me.

I'm only a new player and in the green ranks so I know my opinion carries very little weight but I find being a killer supremely fun regardless of the time the gens are done or the amount of people that escape.

Perhaps I am just an odd duck.

I'm with you man, new player also as of 6 days ago. This is one of those rare games for me where I still have fun even when I lose. So far coming to these forums has been pretty depressing because all I see is people complaining about every little thing and calling the game toxic.

  • Man what a bad idea it was coming to this forum. This place is kind of depressing. I just got the game 6 days ago and have been playing it non-stop. Haven't had this much fun since Left 4 Dead. Pretty much all I've seen here is people bashing the game, calling it toxic, and now this guy saying that new players will be discouraged. Well I can definitely assure you I haven't been discouraged once yet. I've been having an absolute blast. Maybe my experience is different because I'm playing on console, I don't know. Anyways I guess people will always find something to complain about.
