All aura reading perks should be removed, it's such a cheesy approach. DBD is a horror game where hide and seek plays a huge role. With aura reading killers get a built-in navigation system, that spoon-feeds them with information like babies. Tracking perks are useless now, hiding is useless for the most part. The game loses its atmosphere.
DBD would have been a much better game without aura reading.

No, you may not have free escapes from the Killer's shoulder.
This has nothing to do with a free escape, it has something to do with balance. But it looks like you don't know what this word means, look it up and educate yourself.
A killer shouldn't be able to carry a survivor across half of the map to the basement. Right now wiggling is completely useless.

Did you consider that the killer might have been using the perk Hangman's Trick which causes hooks to respawn very quickly?
All 15 games? No, none of the killers used it, it was the usual ruin+bbq+NC etc.

If I find you saboing my hooks you won't leave the basement.
That's very important information. Spam somewhere else.

Git Gud. I win games at rank 1 with no perks.
"Winning" is not the same as escaping. Especially solo you escape 1 game out of 8-12 games. Don't confuse piping with escaping. I doubt any killer would be satisfied 0k and pip. It's the same with survivors.

I play to escape. I like to win and if I get sacrificed I don't feel I won.
Chases are too short now to be fun. Sooner or later you go down and might get camped or tunneled.
Points? Who cares. You can stay in the basement and get points for that, that's not fun. -

@Troman Very strange! O.o Report it to a Mod in https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/forum-feedbackIt looks like after an edit this forum will sometimes forward your post for reviewing and it causes it to disappear temporary.

I wonder what happened to my post, it just disappeared.

Less immersion, please. The reason people like me (with over 1k hours at least) keep playing is for the interactions between survivor and killer. Hide and seek gets old really quick on both sides.Really? Just because you play like that doesn't mean everyone plays like that. I have around 1.4k hours and I enjoy stealth. This is a horror game, not a running simulator. Running is circles around pallets gets old pretty quick, but most people have no other choice, because stealth is dead because of killers' aura reading abilities.

You already got Distortion (which is alrready ridiculous as-is) and locker aura blocking, you don't need any more stealth buffs. The only thing that is ridiculous is killer's aura reading, when you get to see survivors' locations without any tracking effort whatsoever. It breaks the game for those who liked it because of stealth, and it has already made all killer tracking perks obsolete. Existing stealth perks don't trump all kinds of aura-reading and you have to equip 3-4 stealth perks to block some of the aura reading abilities, but not all of them (BBQ, Doctor, Legion etc). And Distortion only has 3 tokens, unlike BBQ. THIS is ridiculous. And if Distortion is "ridiculous" with its silly 3 tokens, then BBQ is just game-breaking.
Stealth perks need serious buffs. I hope the DEVs will hear us.

I like the idea behind this perk, but yes, it is rather weak.
I think the token-based approach is not a good idea, but if we are to stick to it, we should be able to gain additional tokens.
For example one additional token for each generator that we fully-complete (it could be 30% of 1 generator + 70% of another for example). You might think that's not much, but we know that DEVs are very conservative and 2-3 additional tokes is not bad. -
It was about time to nerf this wall-hack perk.

The idea is good, especially for those who like stealth, like me, but the implementation could have been better. Same goes for "Dance with me", another stealth perk that I had hopes for.
There should be a way to earn more tokens and it you shouldn't stay in killer's terror radius for that, that's for sure. Maybe for each fully-complete generator you get 1 more token.
I'm still probably gonna use Distortion sometimes. I'm currently running it, not sure if I will stick to it or it change to something else later.
