He is a very good killer and a decent survivor but he get baited way too easily and end up complaining on the same thing again and again.

Of course its worth it. You are trading your misery for 4 people having fun. Its net positive
-
Play to win, whatever it takes to win, including camping and tunneling. Winning is fun. Survivors are not gonna thank you for playing fair and you will usually end up with the customary tbag and ez baby killer at end game chat.
-
Don't get good and stay a noob. Killers at low level are fun. High level killers is just a target of abused by survivors and SWF, with the exception of Nurse/Blight

I expected Tru3's results.
Tru3 result will probably be even less reliable than Otz. Not that he is bad or anything but that guy has been constantly sniped by SWF sweat squad on stream. He should do the test off stream tbh.
-
Its balanced at the lower level until you reach the top %, where survivors will dunk on most killers except nurse and maybe blight. Basically if both parties play perfectly at top level, killer can never win
-
Throw in a match replay/review function pls, so players can better learn from their mistakes and get better
-
This is what you get when you balance around casuals and many people + streamers supported that approach so you get what you wish for I guess
-
RPD is a very good map for survivors, but terrible map for killers due to its size.

Behaviour seems too concerned with making Killers fun to play against, less so to play as.
You are trading 1 player fun for 4 player fun. Although I don't quite agree with it, I can see why its worth it for the devs to do that.
-
Gen speed can remain the same but imo they should give killer Ruin and BBQ as base kit to discourage camping. Ruin also give survivors another objective to do. In return, survivors should get DS and Kindred as base kit to discourage tunneling and for better coordination.
-
Just let us know who are the swf post game. MMR too, just show it. Can't the devs just be more transparent?
-
I always get red ranks sweat squad and toxic players on EU in the afternoon. Things clam down and get easier in the evening.
-
tbh I get the feeling that the devs have no idea what is the difference between safe and unsafe pallets....
-
Why can't the devs just be more transparent? At least let each player know their mmr or link a player rank to mmr (if you are going to keep it hidden) so they know where they stand and how good they are. These gives players who wanna get better a goal to work towards. Meanwhile the casuals will just stay at the mmr they are and they wouldn't be matched with the sweaty. With the current system, there's no feedback at all. I don't even know if I'm getting good or getting bad at the game. Its like the devs are trying to force everyone to become casuals.

I rather face the same 3 killer all the time than to have my potato teammates kill me.

Way to generalize an entire group. While I am no as big as Otz or Tofu... I am a Twitch Partner and I think one look at my post history will prove your statement to be a broad generalization that is not accurate. I welcome SBMM. If you want to point out certain streamers - do that - do not group us all together.
I actually came across more streamers that are for MMR than against. Even those that are against MMR have some valid points. I don't think this is considered naming and shaming since its just a difference in opinion on MMR in DBD. Just off the top of my head;
For MMR: Dowsey, Truetalent, Tofu
Against MMR: Scott
Unfortunately I can't remember Otz position on MMR.
-
I play both killer and survivor and I'm excited for mmr
As survivor I can finally get better teammates, in 80% of my solo survivor games my teammates are the actual killer.
As killer, mmr doesn't make much of a difference to me, I'm already facing sweat squad during each of my play session with or without mmr.
-
MMR is designed to help solo queue get competent teammates which imo is a step in the right direction. What I don't get is why so many survivors dislike MMR

This isn't insane nor should it be endorsed, this is simply broken on good Nurse mains.
Nurse and Hag players are the worst of this community and it is baffling how they are still ignored balance wise.
Similar to how the community ignore how broken top level SWF is, the same argument could be said about nurse, you will rarely go against top level nurse which is considered "broken". So Nurse is totally fine.
-
I don't usually care when a survivors bring map offerings. The survivors I look down upon are red ranks swf sweat squad who bring map offerings.
-
Water will always flow down the path of least resistance. Killer playstyle will naturally gravitate towards the most efficient way to win the game. Many people fail to realise that tunneling out the weakest survivor is the most efficient way to play. There's only so much streamers and survivor mains can do to brainwash the rest of the community that tunneling is bad and survivors should have their "fun" at killer expense. Don't blame the killers who tunnel, blame the game design.
-
Killer role is only stressful when you force yourself to play a certain way. Don't get brainwashed by whatever way streamers or survivor main is telling you to play. You are playing for your own enjoyment, not others. Tunneling out the weakest survivor to make it 3 v 1 asap or camping as necessary is fair game. No point handicapping yourself.

What I don’t understand is why he kept trying to make wraith work by changing his addons/perks. Did he expect to magically get a 4k just by changing a few perks? Everyone in chat and even Oracle were asking him to change his killer because it wasn’t working out. What did Tru do? He ignored it and continued like a stubborn mule. This is why Tru is the only dbd streamer I dislike. I really wanted to see how a spirit/nurse would perform against Oracle.
You are jumping to conclusion due to your dislike for him. The purpose of his match against oracle is for him to test if wraith can work vs competitive team.

It doesn't really matter how long time passes as most survivors discredited the experiment for x reasons. If every argument fails they can just say that "you rarely go against these teams anyways"
Just use the same argument back at them when they whine about spirit or nurse; you rarely go against top level spirit/nurse anyway
-
Why is there even an argument on balancing the game around top level play vs casual play? Isn't it painfully obvious that most competitive game balance around top level play? Be it asymmetric or not. Its silly to think otherwise. And yes, DBD is a competitive game. There are ranks to climb and MMR is coming soon.
-
Just let the killer know who are the SWF in the pre game lobby so killers are not blindsided. Its not hard to implement at all and is a easy solution to solve the SWF imbalance
-
indeed, playing as solo survivor, I finally have teammates that actually do gens.

When I play I try to avoid camping as much as possible. I even try to alternate which survivor I hook, get as many hooks as possible, and go away to check distant generators. But often times I see a survivor circling me like a vulture while I am carrying another survivor to the hook. They don't even give me a chance to leave the area. Should I follow them in and get them as they are unhooking the other survivor? What is the proper thing to do?
Also should I keep an eye on hooked survivors from a distance? Let them get unhooked. Then go back in to the hook when I am alerted they are unhooked. (Because there will likely be two survivors in that area)
I am just asking what the best approach is. I am interested in giving everyone a fair game and proper etiquette. When I play killer I like to think of myself as dungeon master or the host of the game I am playing. But I still want to win.
As a killer you should do whatever necessary to take survivor out of the game as early as possible. The faster you kill off a survivor, the easier the rest of the game will be. Tunneling out the weakest survivor who refuse to hide themselves or camping when needed is fair game. Not sure why so many people subscribe to truetalent ideology where getting as much hooks as possible is a good way to play. You will only handicap yourself and survivors are not gonna thank you for playing that way.
-
Not sure why people would assume majority of killers would lobby dodge when they see who is SWF in pregame lobby. Whenever some people complain about SWF, most killers I've seen here are fine going against SWF and that they are up for the challenge or suggest people need to learn how to play against these squad. SWF is totally fine.
Only a small group of killers would lobby dodge and it shouldn't affect matchmaking. I see no issues with that. If survivors are given the option to play with friends, to be fair to killers they should be given the option to avoid playing against people and their friend too.
