Why do you care about pissing off survivors? The object of the game is to win. Y'all are turning this game into an episode of Barney the Dinosaur.

I'd like to think that's its a game, and everyone should get something out of it. We play it to be fun. I try to chat at the other players after matches, but catch a lot of ######### for the way the twins play. It's not that I deeply care, but if there's a way to do it well without getting raged at, that'd be nice.

  • How about the Twins?

Victor is basically just a guided missile who is typically pointless. A good survivor will negate his wound easily, without boons.

With a proper rework they would make him more interactive. (Breaking pallets and hitting gens. Maybe dragging or pouncing a downed body unless removed.) They would make Charlotte Husk useful (Maybe a generator repair debuff / aura reveal aura), and in return, greatly extend the range she is allowed to husk near hooks and exit gates.

  • Probably!

I have a LOT of time in this game, and I have literally never played against another twins player. I tend to run the only fullbody cosmetic the twins have, where Charlottes hair is down her basket is filled with entrails. My username here and in game are the same.

I've only just started playing The Twins and I love them, I told actually use them to camp too much either, I tend to just amble around as Charlotte and when I spot a survivor I'll get myself within a decent distance and then unbind Victor, get him to latch on and then walk the short distance as Charlotte and down them, hook the survivor and start wondering around looking for someone else, obviously there are times when Victor is off doing his own thing but majority of the time I keep him with me until I'm ready for a chase.

It works pretty well, survivors can't complain that you are camping and you definitely aren't slugging because they get picked up within a few seconds of being downed.

I don't play that way not to piss people off, that was just the style I took to when I first started with them (which was only about a week ago) but I always tend to get a fair few kills that way.

That was how I started with them myself. After awhile though, my MMR went up and survivors would just not rip off Victor and break off to do solo things. Or they would lead me so far from my husk that I'd never be able to pick up the down. So now he's just extra pressure and I value his scouting and disarm much more than using him as an actual killer.

Tbh it shouldn't take from her current stash of traps

I dunno if I'd like to play against starting with 4 hats, then her having 4 more to pass out. Maybe increase her +1 add on to +2.

  • That's kinda where I'm at anymore. Survivors have a LOT going for them right now. Killers tough. I got Iridescent survivor without hardly any effort. I bought Mikaela and just kinda coasted to it between her and Jill. Getting to Iridescent killer with my two favorites, Deathslinger and Twins, was a hell of a lot harder.

  • I've played about 4 games against it as a survivors in gold/irridescent.

Game 1: Took both me and my comms partner till 4th box to break trap. Rando's popped 1st gen like the forums say to do, and partner died while she patrolled boxes instead of early gens. She also had the add on to hide boxes. Result: 2 Killed, 2 Escape.

Game 2: Solo Q. Boxes were visible. Took until box 4. Pig patrolled boxes, and got two survivors to hook state 1 and 1 survivor to hook state 2 before we all got untrapped. Result: 3 Killed, 1 hatch.

Game 3: Full premade. 2 players worked gens to high percentage, but Pig had ruin so most of the work was lost. Got off trap in 2nd box. Others averaged 2 tries as well. Result: 1 Killed, 3 Escape.

Game 4: Soloq. 1 player disconnected over the addon at start. On swamp so I had a hard time finding boxes. Got stuck in a long chase and a gen popped during. Died to the trap. Result: All died.

  • Racial flames and the people who stoke them are the worst kind of scum.

Boon totems are fine lmao, just got to get more used to them.

They aren't though. They need tweaked to allow the killer to smash the totem permanently or get their hex back. They also need to lose the 100% heal speed buff and just allow healing at slow ass Self Care speeds.

No. I'm saying that it does not stun AND give a speed boost. It only stuns, so it's not high reward (like other exhaustion perks; Smash Hit stuns and gives a speed boost. The risk and skill this perk takes is not in line with other exhaustion perks. The only reason it's an exhaustion perk is to give it a cooldown as well as prevent it from stacking with other exhaustion perks.

The problem is you aren't thinking about who else the perk helps besides yourself. Smash Hit, in most cases, is only going to help in a 1v1 chase. Locker Punch helps set up plays in SWF and combos well with other locker perks. You can both stun the killer, extend a friends chase, possibly save them a hook state, and likely transfer aggro to you from someone else when the killer loses sight of his intended target.

It would be nice if they added an aura power to it somehow, but its fine as is.

  • Seriously.

A lot of people feel like they have to complete a challenge in one match, and then play like madmen. If you spread out unhooking people, (and to Behaviors credit, most of these challenges want safe unhooks), over a few games, it completes normally. The problem is people are always grinding up them BP, so feel like its not efficient to stretch out a challenge when the efficiency hit actually comes from losing games by playing dumb.

  • He's doing well, my friend. There was some gnashing of teeth and moaning as I fought my way through clicky-clicks, teabags, camps and tunnels. But now that I have red circles in the top right corner, I feel like I'm living my best life.

  • Well, it's simple really. When I'm the killer, I try my best to kill all the survivors one at a time while alternating hook states. I also take Role Play breaks with certain survivors. Typically, they crouch before me over and over, clearly acquiescing to my divine nature. In return, I hump their legs with Victor, and everyone feels better about the game. The spectacle inspires other survivors to switch out who is role playing and who is doing gens, slowing the game down for everyone.

As a survivor, I tend to direct traffic by pushing the point button, showing the killer which quadrant of the map he is allowed to be in at a given time, so he doesn't unfairly pressure anyone.

  • That's ass. I hate it when people get that way. I had a survivor once glitch on top of a rock that I couldn't reach, and they just stood there till I quit since they were the last one left alive.

If I had to guess, Killer felt robbed by the DC's and wanted to make you pay for it.

the chase is extended because of the visual bugs most killers when they see blood coming off a injured survivor stop chasing which means the chase is extended because we are receiving the wrong info

extending the chase makes it a technical issue I've explained this to you like 4 different ways I really dont know how to make it simpler

    Killer main here.

    Quit whining.

If you aren't good enough to realize the person isn't down on the ground or wounded via the HUD, that's on you. Dead Hard is super annoying, I agree, but its not really costing the killer anything. And if you HIT someone with dead hard and they used it right, you being penalized an animation IS INTENDED.

I realize you troll sluzzy. But why are you using fake scenarios to prove a point in your troll posts ?

Your second picture is literally a custom game of 1v1. There's 1 player for survivors. No DCs. No deaths.

You are actually wrong here. When you come back in to spectate remaining survivors, it only shows the names on the ones alive and left in the match. Note that the Steve costume and the Feng costume line up as well.

I don't think this is a 1v1 custom at all.

  • @Sluzzy said:

Something desperately needs to be done about tunneling. At least 8 out 10 matches a person simply tunneled out of the match. I can't imagine the devs ignoring this much longer because it is totally unfun. Either decisive strike needs to be massively buffed so killers are discouraged from it or a builtin mechanic to prevent it.

THERES NO OTHER WAY TO PLAY ANYMORE. Jesus, you survivors are the whiniest bitches.

"THEY ARE GETTING MAD THEY CANT SPREAD WOUNDS AND HOOK STATES SO THEY TUNNEL NOW AND ITS NOT FAIR."

Newsflash, we can't spread out hits or aggro anymore due to op boons and a million and one healing perks and medkits. If you want killers not to tunnel, you have to give up one of your 50 advantages you have over them. Otherwise, there's a 25% chance you won't enjoy your game as you get tunneled and camped or proxied.

  • I mean, its either open or closed. There's no "saved progress", like disarming a hex totem.

  • @JPA said:

Agree with DS and BT tbh. It's actually quite annoying how fearless survivors can be in the end-game with these perks. You can 99 the gate, since it doesn't regress, you can go for the unhook, and if theres 3-4 people alive then you can also get enough protection hits to make it from most hooks on the map. Every end game plays out the same way.

Maybe adding a open or closed state to the gate would be the answer. Like a totem perhaps. There's not often more than anecdotal play or chasing around the gate.

  • Seriously,

Survivors have so many advantages now that if you want to have a chance you NEEEEED to remove one as soon as possible. The days of juggling hook states so survivors can enjoy the game went out the window with DS, Boons, Gen rush, and killer nerfs for days.

Survivors don't care one whit if you get one of them or not to enjoy your game. Why should you honor what amounts to a social contract so they can enjoy theirs?
