Someone should test it in KYF
-
And, what are your propositions to make the game less unfair to the survivors? or is this just another thread to whine about how the devs dislike the side you play most?
-
Well, of course the game is unbalanced, to the side i play the most that is.
-
For me, 100 sensitivity is a bit exaggerated, i do well with just 85 sensistivity, but thats up to you
Use as many gen control perks as you can, aura perks are also really good
-
More like git better amirite?
-
The only anime i remember i actually liked is Blood+, damn, it was good, the intro of the first season gives me some great nostalgic chills.

Leatherface, people underestimate him a lot, he may be a worse billy but when used right his chainsaw can be extremely opressive
With 3 PWYF tokens he becomes almost unstoppable

False-quoting goes quite a bit further than mere selective-quoting, it in fact crosses a personal boundary into wilful misrepresentation.
I've told the people who habitually do it that I will be reporting it from now on. Please do not do it again.
I have already explained how the synergy of 2nd-chance perks work and how the synergy is so great that it means any specific one being triggered is a rare event because of it. It does not need repeating by me now, it just needs some reflection from you.
Perhaps if you stopped writing in shakespeare it would be easier to understand you.
I've told the people who habitually do it that I will be reporting it from now on. Please do not do it again.
And no, i am not false quoting you, i am just replying to your points, nothing that is ban meritorious

When you selectively quote anything, it will usually look stupid.
You have a wildly different standard for what 'victimisations' are if you think anything in my post resembles that.
What reference I make to situations describes the process by which 2nd-chance perk synergy works and it works like this all the time. The more 2nd-chance perks a survivor has equipped, the less chance there is of any single one of them needing to be used; hence the situations in which any specific one is activated is of course rare. That is the point and all survivors benefit from it, not just the survivor who has equipped them.
"Killers are weak cuz there are 4 survivors and they all have 4 perks which makes up for 16 perks in total!!! Thats so unfair! how am i supposed to do anything about that?!!!"
How in the world isnt that victimization?
The more 2nd-chance perks a survivor has equipped, the less chance there is of any single one of them needing to be used; hence the situations in which any specific one is activated is of course rare. That is the point and all survivors benefit from it, not just the survivor who has equipped them.
So, you are admitting that sometimes said second chance perks wont even be used in a single game? Then, why insist they give such a massive advantage to the survivors? why insist they are overwhelming to the killer because "they are 16 perks"?

I think the format where a person chooses to respond with selective-quote followed by counter-point, then another selective-quote followed by counter-point and so in, that's a very obtuse way of making a reply. It becomes an entire house of cards of bad-faith.
I choose what my points are and how I frame them, not you. If I attract supporting upvotes, it's not necessarily because they all agree with me; some might appreciate that I have a particular stance on how I engage with others directly. I might use hyperbole and rhetoric when I'm discussing ideas and general points-of-view, but when it comes to individuals; no matter how much I may disagree with them or think them misguided, that they have personal agency is sacrosanct.
If I ever set out to demolish the genuine express views of someone, I first assume I know nothing of them. Then once I am confident I have a good idea, I will get clariifcation and specification from the person. When I have an accurate picture of what they really believe and why, that's still not good enough: I will then assume it has no inherent flaws internally even if they are obvious. I will set myself the difficult challenge: of arguing against the strongest possible version of their viewpoint, with no assumption of bad-faith on their part.
People have noticed this and I am striving to be consistent with it: I want better standards of discussion than what currently exists here.
Reading your own post and trying to sum-up it's entirety; I'm not even sure if you're arguing with me, or for an audience.
The problem here is, many of the points in your post are nothing more than mere victimizations and focus on extremely rare situations that almost never happen
If my post is so vague and poorly written is because i dont usually write rants so big, i had to this time because so many of the points you made were stupid.

Killers have 4 perks against survivors 16, more if they are SWF because they VOIP allows them to share basic information normally limited to perks at no cost. Killer perks are if anything, not strong enough considering the disadvantage a killer is at.
Most useful killer perks have poor-synergy together or form off-builds which are sub-optimal. Survivors meanwhile have recieved an average of two new 2nd-chance perks every year, all of which not only synergise and can be equipped to all four perk slots without clashing, but each one in-use decreases significantly the chance that another will have to be used. Imagine every survivor using all their perk slots for this.
They each get two chances to be hooked before it's fatal. They can heal an unlimited number of times working together or act independently if they run Self-Care; punishing a killer for not tunelling someone already injured. They can then restart the chase after being picked up if they were rescued recently and the killer doesn't have to tunnel them: just search the wrong locker. If the killer is able to slug them instead and they can't get healed, they can self-revive with Unbreakable after a long chase where MoM or Dead Hard gave them a way to ignore a hit. When hooked at the end of the game, providing the existing 2nd-chance perks have given them the chance to be rescued, either Decisive Strike or Borrowed Time will virtually garauntee they get away no matter what almost any killer does.
Now times all that by four.
"killers weak"
"survivors OP"
The fact that your post has this amount of support really brings light to the fact that the forums are extremely killer biased
Let me tell you where and why your logic is flawed
Killers have 4 perks against survivors 16
The classic "argument" that has been repeated over and over again
You are not taking into account those 16 perks are all distributed between 4 survivors, perks that most of the time wont directly affect you as killer and will only give an small defensive advantage or will only reveal the aura of their teammates
Killer perks are if anything, not strong enough considering the disadvantage a killer is at.
This page shows you what the best Killer perks are in the game Dead By Daylight. The data is community based and open for voting.Judge by yourself, how many of the perks listed here can actually be considered weak or not worth using on any killer? Almost every perk helps you ends chases faster or make tracking survivors easier, saying that killer perks are weak is downright stupid.
Most useful killer perks have poor-synergy together or form off-builds which are sub-optimal.
all of which not only synergise and can be equipped to all four perk slots without clashing, but each one in-use decreases significantly the chance that another will have to be used
Literally, what the hell? Killers have way more perk variety with better synergies than those of the survivors
Montos videos are a prime example of this, just how many survivor builds has he done in the past 6 months? Only like 4 or 3, on the other hand he makes killer builds every day, because killer perks synergize way better than those of the survivors.
Please name at least 5 synergies of survivor perks, i am waiting.
We are reaching victim levels here
Survivors meanwhile have recieved an average of two new 2nd-chance perks every year
They get nerfed the week after they have been released, so...
They each get two chances to be hooked before it's fatal
Well, thanks for naming one of the game mechanics. I dont know what point you are trying to prove here
They can heal an unlimited number of times working together or act independently if they run Self-Care
Which makes them waste time, time you can use chasing other survivors and downing them, its up to you how you use it.
After this, you just make a rant about survivor perks you dont like.
If the killer is able to slug them instead and they can't get healed, they can self-revive with Unbreakable after a long chase where MoM or Dead Hard gave them a way to ignore a hit.
I am starting to think that the people that upvoted you post didnt actually read it, have your forgotten that MoM got nerfed to the ground in the GF update?

No.

DS is anti tunnel, it's not a crutch anymore. If you feel like DS is a crutch then I suggest you don't tunnel.
Adrenaline, yeah it's a crutch but it's the opposite of NOED, survivors have to do their objective and survive until the objective is complete to get their Adrenaline, NOED rewards killers for failing to protect the generators, which is unbalanced. Why should killers be rewarded for failing?
Killers get rewarded by the survivors laziness, not their failure
If you think NOED is a crutch perk i suggest you do the totems
t. Killer who never runs NOED

So if Peanits would told you that old Freddy had 80% kill rate at rank 1, would you considered old Freddy top tier ?
Hag also has the best kill rate if I am right, so Hag > Nurse confirmed.
Well, yes, if old Freddy had a high kill rate at high ranks i would think that he is a good killer, stats said otherwise, and peanits never said he had a high kill rate
On the other hand trapper is confirmed to have 60% kill rate, which is pretty high for a killer that is said to be "low tier"

AAAAAH I NEED TO P3 BILL
I NEED THOSE DELICIOUS LEGACY 2 COSMETICS!

I still dont understand the reason why people think self care is so good, its only decent when combined with botany knowdlege, otherwise its time consuming garbage, just bring a med-kit or bond if you have such a big problem with healing.

The fact that people is fighting about a tier list arches me

My point was that nerfing them to the point that you are left with the choice of putting a Survivor on their death hook or to Mori them (which OP suggests doing with nerfing them to require two hooks), would make them not worth the cost and cost doesn't just mean the Bloodpoints you spend on them, but everything else you need to do to get any use out of them.
Well, i dont agree with OPs idea, but i think ebony mori needs a nerf, i dont know, make it so that it activates after you have hooked all 4 survivors or something like that.

You missed the point entirely. Good job.
What was your point then? The only time in the game when moris were nerfed was in patch 1.5.3 when the requirements to hook a survivor to perform a mori were introduced
-
@DocOctober said:
No. Moris have been nerfed enough and your idea would make them pointless/not worth the cost.
Wow, 7000 bloodpoints is such a massive amount to pay for the ability to kill every survivor after they get hooked, it really makes the grind worse.
-
My tier list based on how good their lore is, Ghost Boi would be on "interesting"

Secondly, what’s your point?
Shut up! we all know Joey is the best of them four, there is no point on denying it

Only problem..survival rating at rank one on PC is 80 percent..I say no...this is not even close to an issue when the collapse barely gives the killer more of a chance

I love his new skin too, it's so SHINY! This is my Ghostface build btw (and I like to mix match cosmetics, the blade is the one that comes with demon Ghostface if you can't see it very well)
Well, ruin definetely isnt my cup of tea, but, besides that, your build is great!

Eyyy looking fab but I honestly can’t wait for that Kate outfit, it’s the first I’ve fallen in love at first sight with a cosmetic so...I’m going to lose money so fast when that one is released. That may be the best cosmetic to me...
(That entended duration plus spirit fury/enduring tho)
*thinks about showing build but also plays base ghostface because I actually love the design* yeah I’ll leave the being fabulous to you 🤗
Kate also looking great, but my boi Ghost looking the greatest
Hey, you dont need to show me your ghostface build, just your killer main build
-
It is so damn good, and dare i say, the greatest cosmetic that has been released to date
-
-
So you can stun me? hell no.
-
In an alternate universe, the machine gun build remains unchanged until patch 2.6.0, that way survivor and killer mains argue all the time before the nerf about how overpowered the side they play against is because they have those to perks: STBFL and DS
-
Wow, ghostface buff looking great
-
Sick survivors should get at least a progressive 15% debuff to action speed when sick
-
Legion
Why? Because the devil outfit for ghostface is terrible for camo, the red mask is basically shouting to the survivors you are stalking them.
Legion on the other has cool outfits like the one for Joey
But, personally, if i were you, i would spend those auric cells on another killer, the leather cosmetic for piggy looks fantastic and helps her with camo
(i dont buy them because they butchered mah girl piggy too bad) -
You know? every people here talking smack bout nurse but you know what the real deal with this game being?
THE ######### "PHILLY" ADD ON FOR GHOSTFACE
I will never get tired of writing about how hecking damn OP this goddamn diabolic add-on is, i mean, night shroud on itself is so damn OP it can obliterate game mechanics with just looking at them i mean ######### BHVR why would you make GFs power so OP anyways PHILLY is just utter BS made to get EZ kills you want to know why? BECAUSE ITS OP! i mean ######### recharching all your power after a gen is don is NOT ok and should definetely be banned from the game for basically being an exploit, not ok, PHILLY needs an urgent nerf because it is destroying the gameplay experience for many of us experienced players with about 100000000000^100 hours in the game like ######### is the problem with BHVR why wont they balance the game its so broken and unfair for everyone to have such a damn powerful add-on on the game this company really needs a testing team or something because ######### is wrong with the game balance I CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE I AM QUITING THE GAME.
But, who was on the phone?
-
If you want your typical effective M1 build on him
- Spirit Fury
- Ruin/PGTW
- BBQ
- Nurses Calling
My personal build is as follows
- Monitor and Abuse
- Discordance
- Enduring
- Brutal Strenght (yes, i know its not that good)
Add-ons i would recommend are
- Stalk rate (Telephoto lens, Belt clip, Night vision monocular)
- Recovery rate (Chewed pen, Olsens adress book)
- Speed while crouched (Drop-leg knife sheath)
I unironically cant believe the amount of people saying that NOED and Make Your Choice on Ghost Boi is good, no, just no, its dumb, in fact, putting any exposed status effect perks on him is pretty much redundant given just how easy it is to get that juicy exposed status effect just by stalking them
-
No, point.
Would encourage lobby dodging.

Thats a nice subreddit you just quoted on your post.
