I think his western design is a good step and is original in the sense of DBD lore. I think the Map is excellent and very well designed.. however his perks are boring, not original .. this isn’t a criticism to sound harsh but I could think of better killer perks that don’t affect balance in 10 minutes.
Survivor - again, boring design, terrible boring perks. I’m sure many could come up with better.
I think this game (like many others) is missing real customisation (hair styles, tattoos, jewellery) I know that they need to generate income but they could do packs where you get multiple different sets of outfits in a pack but that’s another discussion.
overall the only thing I’m impressed with is the map. Feels like this killer has been rushed, the design of the killers appearance could have been improved and so could the new survivor.

I have asked for this a number of times & no response other than people with a negative view on it? The vast majority of multiplayer games have some form of in game statistics.. why? Because in a competitive game it’s interesting to know where you stack up , what your most used perks are, what your escape % is etc why wouldn’t you want it ?

How many second chances do you want? Didn't do the gens? - Here's the hatch. Oh you didn't get it? Well here is 2 powered exit gates. If gates are far apart it's a free escape for survivor already.
on the flip side the killers primary objective is to kill survivors, if your banking on exit gate spawns to achieve that then haven’t you failed?
-
I think a solution would be more exit gate spawns in the beginning and depending on who is left at the end, that determines which exit gates you are required to open.

I agree, Luck in its current state shouldn’t even be called ‘luck’ it doesn’t do the word justice if that makes sense. I think the changes you suggest are in the right direction.
Other things that could be considered are having a chance of not alerting wildlife up to a certain %
Performing quick actions have a chance of not alerting the killer up to a certain % (10,15,20) etc
Just my thoughts as the term ‘increases luck’ should cover more of a variety of actions but never be guaranteed.

When I and another survivor start by a gen & they walk off and ignore it
-
That made me chuckle.

My personal experience coming from a purple rank survivor isn’t good.. I’ve played against him 3 times and me and random teammates haven’t survived. On smaller maps, he’s ridiculously annoying to play against, on larger maps he can’t apply as much pressure.
I think the most annoying part is that during the static blast you can’t throw pallets.
I find him annoying to play against now, more than I used to.
-
Ok Devs we get it, you made a few decent tweaks to a map nobody liked. Please change the rotation.. all I get is yamaoka estate and Lerys.
-
This should be an absolute necessity. I honestly don’t understand why this isn’t part of the game & more players don’t request to see this added?
-
I’d like to see more customisation options, changes to hair styles, facial hair, tattoos, charms ability to add certain items (just for customisation) such as backpacks, gloves, goggles etc.
I think due to the in game transactions and pre set outfits then any future customisation options will be limited but that’s what I’d like.

Not really? If there are multiple Survivors, they can just take turns opening the Gate and outmaneuvering the Killer until one of the Gates opens up. Not even Nurse or Hag can be in two places at once, so at least one Gate will always be unprotected to some degree.
Maybe for a SWF but most sole survivors aren’t able to coordinate this.

Just find and cleanse NOED, then. If the Killer is camping the gates, the Totem should be safe to cleanse. If the Killer is trying to defend the Totem, you should be able to open one of the Gates.
That was just an example. T3 skilled Myres where the exit gates are too close is a huge advantage for a killer who has failed their primary objective.

What about exit gates where survivors have repaired 5 generators & then get no chance to escape due to the gates being too close together with a killer running NOED? This isn’t just about the last survivor who has failed to repair.
-
I play both killer and survivor and come across this a lot. I can see why some killers see it as an advantage if they don’t play survivor but when I’m the killer I feel uneasy when someone hook suicides because it just isn’t fair.

Even if that Killer is seen as bad and needing buffs. For me, it's clown. I hate the blur.
Lots of love for doc though, the new redesign reveal seems great!
Freddy and Hag, almost impossible to win if you are last and need to power the exit gates.

It's a bit of a coincidence that it happened to you three times in one day, but yeah, that's something people will do and pretty much always have.
The good news is, if you get a recording of it, it's reportable, since it falls under "working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates". (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest)
You should report them in post-game, and then send a ticket to Support with the recording. (https://support.deadbydaylight.com)
Good on you for ignoring it as killer, though. The best way to punish behaviour like that and make sure it doesn't happen again is just to not reward it.
Thanks, didn’t know it was reportable In that way.

The thing - Original Lore; This thing doesn't want to show itself; it wants to hide inside an imitation. It'll fight if it has to, but it's vulnerable out in the open. If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies. Nobody left to kill it. And then it's won."
The Thing is an extremely hostile shape-shifting extraterrestrial organism. The Thing has the ability to assimilate other life forms in order to survive and spread. The original physical characteristics of The Thing and its motivations are unknown as it could have assimilated hundreds if not thousands of other species before it crashed on Earth. ?
I did consider Jeepers Creepers as he would be a good fit inside the lore etc but not comfortable about his creators history (which I wont go into)

I don’t have a particular stereotype but when I’m in the lower ranks 12 and below..I often see survivors and think how did you actually get to this rank!?! some of the decisions people make.. if I had to pick though it would be David

It must be just me then as his animation to me makes me panick as it just looks like he catching up 2x as fast than other killers
I agree, it’s the illusion because the trapper ‘walks’ whereas some other killers ‘run’ so it looks like he’s walking really fast because he is the same speed as others who look as though they are running.. if that makes sense ?
