Tru3 also, has verbatim says, that he HONESTLY believes all he faces are "tournament level squads" in DBD.
I wouldn't take him too seriously.
But it's true I face the same difficulty survivor's as he does almost every game it's the same amazing survivor's and if you watch his survivor games there not the same because I go though that ,in my killer games I'm facing top percent then in my survivor games there just absolutely the worst survivor's to play "with

It seems to be a crutch addon for killers. It was an ultra rare in PTB so I'm not sure what the Devs were thinking. 6s is too much and shouldn't be a green.
Ultra rare for this add-on makes sense. The exposed one should be purple. And the one that replenishes all charges should be green
Pair it up with the pallet breaking one and it's a really oppressive build.
I think tablet of the oppressor should have an exposed status affect *or make survivor's scream when they run unto torment but expose status would be nice

I actually did play it through a different perspective of it, and I found the series more disturbing when I first played it. I'm just more used to the obvious sort of things like the helplessness of terror, it took me a while to actually delve into the minds of some of these characters and I won't deny they are quite unsettling. So my perspective has changed and now I believe Silent Hill is a bit better then what originally thought of it as when I first played it. But I still firmly feel like the unnerving terror your gonna die and you can't do anything about it is a lot scarier to me, however I am thankful you understand, thank you.
Nice I'm glad you were able to find some grounding in there, personally while, I don't like the aspect of not being able to defend yourself, Outlast is freaking terrifying no doubt about it. Resident Evil 1 & 3 are very scary but not in the psychological sense just out right terror even with a gun Especially original resident evil 3 og because Nemesis was so unscripted he'd just pop up on you but anyway take care be safe

He uploaded a video where he got 4 escaped by a group of toxic survivors and they still flashlight bm him after he played fair on a survivor favored map. He’s probably THE if not one of the most kindest YouTuber/Streamers out there. With that being said, notice how he uploaded a match where he lost and wasn’t afraid to show it meanwhile other YouTubers and streamers (not saying names) only upload games where they ONLY escape or Kill everyone. This game is just getting more toxic as the days go by.
I'm not a big name streamer some people know about me, but I uploaded a match that I got beat in also. it's really not the first time either but you know how it is when you're technically a nobody I'm not a mean person sure I have a few anger issues but I wish you can just except me for me.

So I finally got my hands on both the 2nd and 3rd games for my 360 to see if this really was the real deal, and I'll say I'm not disappointed this was a very great series, and I'm glad I was able to experience it. The story was good, and it was decently paced. But there is some negatives I have about the game. I played it to also to get scared, and I hate to say it but I didn't find Silent Hill scary. Now there were moments I was scared with Pyramid head but when I faced the many bosses some of them for some reason found comical. Eddie Dombrowski is one, the voice actor for the character I'm sorry but that was hilarious to hear him, I laughed and I couldn't take the character seriously.
And that's for many monsters I didn't find them scary at all but here's why, I had a weapon, something to defend myself. I didn't feel helpless, that in my opinion is what I find terrifying in a horror game, the fact that you have nothing to defend yourself with and nothing to stop the monster or whatever it is your faceing. Now there were occasions where I couldn't do anything but run but like the haunted house and Pyramid Heads first fight, but thats it at times. Now I'm not saying it wasn't creepy at times or that it wasn't good, SIlent hill is a great series I really like it however I just am not a s scared of it as I do feel for other horror games. But then again this is an old game and this was terrifying at the time but now a days we've seen just about everything. Again these are just my opinions and I am sorry if you felt a bit upset by this, but this is just what I thought of Silent hill.
@MandyTalk @Inji Could you please move this into the off topic section I accidently made into the general discussions
I think if you look at it in the sense of foreboding horror and psychological themes you'd be pretty surprised what's happening in silent hill. Take the character Angela Orosco for example, she seems to be a lot older than her mindset. It's because of those real world events that took place in her life she comes off as a child but she is in fact an adult and the monster's there that was manifested by James and Angela have deeper meanings. I brought the game when I was a kid so obviously I didn't understand what the heck what was going on but now things like the abstract daddy gives me chills knowing what he really is, but it's these subtleties that make the franchise and those games so great ,while the design may be off putting to some at first the representation of the monster is what really drives it for me,but in all honesty I believe it's the greatest horror franchise to ever exist but everyone likes different things and nothings wrong with that just try it from a different perspective don't compare it to what we have now, when you do embark on the silent hill journey.

Nice. First impression thoughts?
I thought it was great ,they were able to make you feel the claustrophobic tension of being stuck in that cabin out there in those woods that's scary, having all you're friends become monster's around you and you're only choice left is to defend yourself very chilling, some thing's are a bit silly but they fit the movie so well it just doesn't really matter ,but by the end you're rooting for our boy.Ashley to gtfo of their. But overall deserves it right to be labeled the classic it is. I now get this reference from Silent Hill 2 if you stand over any workbench with James with the Chainsaw in hand he'll yell aaaaggghhh with the chainsaw raised up ,I just thought he was insane .

I liked hers to but these days I kinda prefer more modernized versions.Just because we have more technology to do more kinds of special effects like the 2013 one I posted above in that one Carrie levitates off the stage.
You have a great point and that would be a terrific skill to add to her set,I only me even though she could do these extra things did you truly connect to the character by the end of the movie, I think most of the performances and general direction of the movie was off putting, instead of making you feel bad for her Carrie, it kind of just made you wanted to pinch the character .eewww everytime I think about it most of all instead of embodying that rage ,it became more of a marvel movie where was the horror element I didn't feel any dread coming from that character nor pity also just the cast in general yuck,The original Carrie is just the best it was Grounded you know.
-
I do and I will, but it's got to be Spacek no other actor truly embodied the horror as well as Sissy Spacek. I'll give rage a pass for trying to be a squeal.

Just wondering what keeps you playing killer through all the bugs, horrible balance, toxicity, and stress of it all. Personally I've completely given up on playing killer, no point in continuing to play if every game is swf genrushers who get my ruin within 1 min of the match and are just toxic all game.
It's fun for me to be the killer ,I enjoy playing this role the much being my favorite monster man.I find the challenge of it fascinating to 1 v 4 the playstyles are always changing ,survivor's using different tactics. If I had a bad match a change my build because survivor's are crafty as the fox and discord exist.

@naughtyboYyjames_01, thank you for the opinion and even looking at this post! I agree with you on the perk part considering that is the hardest part for me to think of but I was unaware of the the insidious perk so thank you for complying to me about that. Also I was going to decrease the deadlights timeout so now it is 60 seconds instead of 3 minutes. I just really have a fun time thinking about these concepts and hope you enjoy reading them even if they are not perfect!
No problem, me I went with the simple shapeshifting pennywise but you're concept showed me that he has way more potential and that's way more fun with these mechanics.you could keep the concept of these perks because they fit him pennywise just make them do Something else like phobia if a survivor is in a basement for 40 secs the become exposed for a short duration some nonsense like that Haha overall nice .

@55timballoons said:
Chapter: Derry Town
killer: The Deadlight - Pennywise
weapon: wolf claw
map: Derry
Derry would be similar to the HaddonField map for the shape but would have many differences. It would still have houses in the neighborhood and all the normal stuff but also have sewer drains and of course the Well House would be in the neighborhood. On the outside of the neighborhood there would be the carnival from IT Chapter 2 with the funhouse and other parts from the movie like a animated Ferris wheel, There would also be the baseball area for IT Chapter 2 with the bleachers. There would be a bottom lare for the sewer pipes which could be entered through the Well House or other outside areas in Derry Town. There would be natural parts of the map to like decent quantities of forests and shallow rivers that lead to sewers.
power: Float
the ability to place up to 5 balloons in the air that move toward survivors but somewhat randomly so not directly. The balloons would have a infinite aura so you could see wherever they are at any time. Balloons have there own terror radius but cleanse your terror radius within a certain range. The main use for this ability is each balloon will reveal a survivors aura within a visible radius. Survivors must be noticeable for 3 seconds before getting revealed but can be seen at any angel from the balloon. There is a cool down for placing every balloon but once you get a full recharge on the time instead of placing a balloon you can choose to click on one to teleport to the balloons location. When you click on a balloon it will have a explosion of blood and you will be on the inside of the blood and be revealed after it all falls. You the killer will let out a maniacal laugh and be stunned for 3 seconds before being able to move again. After about 2 minutes the balloon will pop and you will get the balloon back. You can also pick up unpopped balloons for a quick reusable.
+Fear: not necessarily a 3rd power but a ability to the terror radius. When your terror radius is revealed to the survivor you can hear there heart beat and the closer they are the louder the heart beat.
secondary power: Deadlight
the ability to open your face up to reveal the deadlights to viewing survivors. If a survivor is not looking at you then they are not affected but if they do look at you they will start to get blinded but they can attempt to resist. The longer they look the harder it is to move your screen away from the deadlights and resist them. If the survivor fails to resist their eyes and hair will turn white with a horrified expression. They will also start to float a foot off the ground and then you the killer can pick them up to put on a hook and they cannot struggle until they are hooked which wares off the effect. Survivors can try to snap you out of the effect which will cause you to fall and change your hair and eye color back to normal. when using this power you get a 30% speed decrease until you are done with the ability which it can be used for up to 20 seconds before a 1 minute cool down. A survivor can wake up from the deadlights after 3 minutes and there aura is revealed to you for as long as they are in the full wraith of the deadlights.
perks:
feed on your fear: when only 2 survivors are together your speed gains a 20% increase and a 25% pallet breaking time decrease. When 3 or 4 survivors are together this does not slow your general speed down it just makes the perk useless for that period of time.
phobia: when you are in a basement your terror radius is completely Hidden and you get a notification when any survivor is entering the basement you are in.
splattered colors: when a hex totem is broken by a survivor your anger compels you to show your true colors to the survivors. You get a hit speed cool down decrease by up to 40% when all totems are broken and you get a swipe increase of 27%.
skins:
evil eyes - blue eyes
bloody suit - suit color variations
legendary:
1990 IT
2019 IT
Its very cool fits the pennywise lore perfectly, but I'm sure if the want be able to break out of float it will be consider OP.The perks are kind of useless tbh there reworks of existing mechanics, such as phobia it's insidious but you can move but who want to camp a basement, swipe is just kind of boring it's kind of like a stronger stbfl, and fyf is basically brutal,.Everything else about the killer is spot on

I have an idea for a survivor to go with this killer.
A witchy/pagan/esoteric character.
Perks could be:
Third eye: active ability. After cleansing a totem this ability becomes active. Once activated the survivor can clear their mind of shadow block/dr.s maddness status effect/plagues sickness/pyramids tormented status effect.
Can only be activated after cleansing a totem.
Stackable with inner strength (the balance is the more ppl that use it, perks that work with cleansing totems-the less totems there will be available.
Reiki Master or (ahem) hex slayer:
Basically slightly faster cleansing speed perk
Healing aura: healing action button. Becomes active when a survivor is injured or in dying state. Survivor heals injured survivor at whatever distance (but at a much slower rate
thenregular healing; Just like when healing/selfcare survivor cannot move while healing from distances (cool fingers on temple animation when perk is in use). While the perk is in use the survivor healing's aura is revealed to the killer. This ability is cool because if an injured survivor is being chased/or in dying state they can get some progress on being healed; this also gives the killer the option to stop chasingi njured/searching for downed survivor and to go after healing survivor.
Very nice dude.

Confirming who's it would take 3 seconds max. All you'd need to do is agree to announce when you are approaching another Survivor. You see a Survivor with no confirmation? Killer identified.
If they every do this ability it would be interesting. I don't want to go into detail of the possibilities of the out comes. It would be fun testing the snowballing capabilities,I will say even in stealth games there's always a loud section.

Wraith doesn't, except wraith is also not completely hardcountered by SWF.
The problem with Disguise Killers is that they rely on deny Survivors information on their allies. And that's simply not possible due to SWF.
Not really they way the power works, you would have time to mind lock a swf member, it would take about at least 30 seconds to relay to the who's "not it" scenario. If a survivor breaks away in solo que you can easily go to next gen and pretend or switch back and attack survivor how ever it works ,if the survivor is an assuming cannot move from the gen situation unless he completes the skill check then it could be devastating ability and over all could work .

Killer name: The Shadow
Look: The killer is a black shadowy figure consumed by smoke.
Abilities:
M2: Deceive
Description: Deceive temporarily disguises the Shadow as the target player in the trial. During this time, the shadow will "phase" in between his original form, and the survivors. The Shadow is able to give the appearance of repairing generators and breaking totems.
Space Bar: Mind Bend / Shadow Lock (2 different ideas)
Description of Mind Bend: When within range of a survivor, the Shadow can touch the survivor allowing the Shadow to take over the survivor's body. During this time, the survivor has to complete 2 skill checks to free their mind of the shadow. If a survivor successfully completes both skill checks, the Shadow is forced out of the survivor's mind and is stunned. If the survivor does not successfully complete both skill checks, the survivor is downed. If the survivor completes only one skill check, the survivor is injured one state. If a survivor is already injured, the survivor has to complete one skill check.
Description of Shadow Lock: The Shadow attaches a shadow leash to the survivor. During this time, the survivor has to complete 2 skill checks. If the survivor misses both skill checks, they are sent into the "dark realm" where everything is black except for the survivor's immediate surroundings. If the survivor completes 1 skill check, but misses 1, the survivors movement controls are reversed. If the survivor completes both skill checks, they are freed from the lock and the Shadow is stunned.
Tell me your thoughts :)
Seems really fun

Love his books I really do but anything other than these and couple others like Randall Flagg would just be a waste of negotiating a license. I love the shining but talk about a killer that you could probably write and make your own with a good power rather than attempting to make it a license. As a huntress legendary skin now there’s where we can start talking.
That sounds pretty cool about the mist having that ability.

Can hide on and teleport to decoy scarecrows around the map. Has a throwing knife projectile and melee attack.
Perks: replace whispers with a similar perk themed around smelling survivors the entity wishes to consume. A obsession perk for a survivor that the killer especially wishes to steal a body part from. A new totem perk which hides the killers terror radius until the totem is cleansed.
Mori animation would be the scarecrow ripping out the survivors eyes and replacing his own with them.
Map could include the infamous body tunnel, corn field, police station and old cat ladies house.
What do you think? I would be terrified to play against this killer.

I believe Resident Evil actually has a game with an asymmetrical pvp mode. It's unlikely they would help out their biggest competition in that field. I've never played Fear or Siren, but are those games more popular than FNAF?
Yes and no in the late 90's and early 2000s these games were all the hype. I understand it's more of a generational thing but there's tons of other monster's scarier and more suited for Dead by Daylight. Resident evil resistance isn't doing to well either they could do a cross over with that company to boost rer playability by putting Nemesis or Whatever the rezy fan's want by having to games one that's competitive and casual could co exist.Fear is pretty awesome for an fps and it's very creepy Alma is a ghost or spirit who want move on from this world because she want's revenge. Scientists did awful in human experiments on her but this gave her psychic kententic powers which she used to bind her self to this world idk ,I don't know much about Siren but I'm sure someone here played it ,I did play a demo and the people were much like the re4 people. they are possessed and really trying to kill you they move very eary,I was young I played it so obviously I just couldn't run out and buy it but it must be something there, but fnaf come on guy's seriously.

I actually liked Darkeness Among Us. Though Legion was broken back the, at least they're in a better spot now. I don't them annoying at all, in fact I find Freddy the most annoying killer. I'd say Flesh of Mud with the hag and ace has to be the worst one. Ace's perks are no where near decent except for ace in the hole and the map is one of my least favorites bc I always get fps drops whenever I play there.
I'm really conflicted where I stand with , the chapter, I like the characters but every one hates them and, I like ormond as a map I do pretty well on their actually, but I don't like just facing legion after legion it's pretty annoying ,and that happens time or you get back to back ghostfaces that ######### is annoying
-
It's not scary though, there's tons of choice other than fnaf in games what happen to all of the resident evil fans,Fear they could get Alma ,A killer from Siren I don't know much about the series but it's scary there's just so many better choice's I'm sure there's multiple characters to be into then eventually youll have a favorite character, but fnaf is not scary and goofy.

Spirit is the one that has no redeeming qualities for me. Her design, gameplay and visually, is annoying (that face tho, yikes), her backstory is uninteresting and generic, her perks are mostly bad and not great additions to the game for both sides and for several reasons, and yamaokas estate is widely regarded as a pretty bad realm. I personally dislike it because of the terrible jungle gyms that have no good way of running them as killer, and all of the fluff on the map that's distracting as both killer and survivor.
I mean yeah Haunting Grounds is Great ,introspective I guess legion is pretty annoying to go against,I don't think he was in a bad spot for killer before predate but survivor's. But this the power people wanted to give ghostface what you prefer that.

I would say you get four different killer's each with their own personality but the share the same voice lines but their idols are different.Legion also has some of the best looking cosmetics in the game imo

Huh, y'alls are really interesting fears because I'm less afraid of them and more so interested by them. Caves? I'd absolutely love to explore a cave. The ocean? I love swimming, it's relaxing, although I admit I stand at ankle-depth and am immediately terrified of potential jellyfish.
Cooked fruit in pies... Ah, I can get behind that one. Fruit in general in any food that is supposed to be sweet. Like raisins in chocolate. Not a good look, yeah?
But no, my fear is actually the dark. My mom and step-dad watched either Darkness Falls or The Tooth Fairy when I was a child (whichever one it is that she can't go into the light) and I happened to come in at a particularly scary part where it was revealed that if you stayed in the light you couldn't be hurt, and ever since I've been petrified of the dark.
What was it about that movie? that made everyone scared of the darkness again.

Springtrap's canonical means of killing wouldn't really fit as a power; maybe as a mori. A number of the animatronics in FNAF have a dual nature of being both an animatronic that moves around automatically and a mascot suit a person can wear and walk around in. In order for a person to put it on as a suit, the robotics on the inside have to be folded back and locked into place with springlocks. Springtrap generally kills by luring children into a back room, putting them into one of these suits, and then triggering the springlocks so that all the robotics sudden snap into place puncturing the victim from all sides.
It's not really suited to be a power. If you were to base his power on the FNAF games, a reasonable power would be to some how inflict survivors with debuffs that require them to perform a specific action; if they don't complete the action, then a jumpscare would pop up, cover the majority of their screen, and cause them to scream. His physical attack would probly be just swiping an arm at the survivor much like the Hag.
I see but his name is springtrap, and his good at engineering traps from I understand. It sounds like he could punish survivor's on gens as well if he had an ability where he could trap generator's to lock survivor's onto the gen with his traps, what if two mechanical arms grabbed the survivor's jk ,or some type of trap like trapper but it's more of like arm bolts that trap survivor's the can alert the killer because of failed skill check but would not receive notification if survivor is trapped it would appear as regular skill check. the jump scare can be his passive ability so when they are attacked from the gen theybecome frightened. I'm not sure how this can be triggered?
