I really don't want comms on DbD. Why? As what many people have brought up when ever this gets discussed constant slurs, hate, screaming, people telling me how to play, somebody's mom yelling in the background, people spewing hate/sexist remarks toward female players, people playing music or just somebody's fan/AC in the background.
I can already sense people typing, well there will be a mute option! The thing is though I went into Friday the 13th with comms open and played with my sister. The amount of constant crap spewing from people mouths towards not just me but towards my sister was absolutely sickening. So we went into every game from then on in a private chat. Then the sandbagging began because we weren't using our mics in game.
I'm aware I'm lumping the people who are respectful on random comms into the disgusting filth pile but I actually want to enjoy my games and not hear racism, slurs or sexist remarks. And to not be sandbagged because I'm not using my stupid mic. The only why to do that is to mute all comms or not have comms at all.
Not to mention but having in game voice comms would open up a whole new reason to report. Thus clogging up reports with something that shouldn't be happening anyway and taking away from the real reports, like cheating.
I'm quite happy with DbD the way it is and I want to continue playing it with my sister without hearing disgusting sexist remarks and being sandbagged because I'm not using my mic.

I hope so. That would be great news! I've had nothing but good times on PC with dedicated servers. I really have nothing bad to say about them. I can't wait for dedicated servers on PS4.

I'm kind of wondering this myself. By the time the next chapter rolls out we will be nearing the end of fall if not the beginning of winter. Fall is the time they slated for the official roll out of dedicated servers on all platforms. Hopefully PS4 and XB1 can utilize the new DC punishments and that dedicated servers will roll out on or before the next chapter release date.

I was really hoping they would be. The time I've spent with them on PC has been the same or even better than what I would get on P2P.

An amazing experience thus far! Every match has been between 40 to 60 ping and it feels no different than what it was before or better in some cases.
Hopefully dedicated servers will be activated on console soon as that is where some of my friends play. All of them can't wait for them to come to PS4.

You can open the exit gates as killer once all the gens have been completed. Once the end game collapse begins you can no longer open doors.

I feel that something like like this would be abused. Someone gets hooked without Kindred, I run half way across the map to save, notice the killer isn't around (to my knowledge anyway), I run up for a safe unhook and get kicked/denied. Then his friend comes up moments later for the unhook.
I think it would cause a lot of people to not even attempt the unhook just for fear of being trolled with the kick.

I'm assuming you are on console as it's been fixed on PC already. I'm guessing they are going to include the locker exploit and the walk through the wall exploit on the garage map fix in the mid chapter patch on consoles.

Meh, if someone is sabo'ing hooks with me as killer I just assume they are going for a daily. I always hate getting that daily as survivor as I know I'm probably going to get tunneled and camped so I try to let it go.
I'd rather they sabo the entire hook then 99% and drop it in my face.
