Well, so it'd 100% fit the new doctor theme XD
They don't *have* to be high pitched! Just make it a lil bearable
Thats true, maybe I was being too literal about the sounds. Something different than a normal heart beat would be neat for them, especially if it was thematic for their respective "professions"

Swap Doc & Nurse heartbeat for heart monitor beeping sound
Wouldn't that be very thematic and a nice change of pace?
Would you guys love it too?
I don't know how to add a pool so "yes or no"
No, mainly because those monitors are loud and high pitched.

zzzz More hackneyed complaints with no nuanced criticisms outside of your own diatribe.

I forgot that bhvr removed the ability of the killer take out a survivor when he is jumping on a damn hatch. This is a bullshit, survivors have a perk and itens that helps then find the hatch and if the killer close it they can just open the gates that already is quicker than before, and people say that survivor have no advantage on the killer? Survivors don't need to repair gens anymore, just wait to everybody die, isn't it Injustice? Bhvr need to fix it
So many crying killers. You'd think this game was filled with survivors and carebears demanding handouts to make the game baby bumper easy for them.

I love how "Being toxic" is code for "better than the killer" - I had one killer tunnel me for nearly the entire duration of the match. He failed to dodge my flash blinds, failed to dodge pallets, failed to land his lunges. I had m axed Boldness by the time 3 generators were done.
In post game chat I asked him why he chose to tunnel me and lose:
"Because you're toxic and you deserved it."
I had pipped and he did not.
Moral of the story: modern gamers are salty, have weak constitution and are easily tilted into toxicity.

Does anyone else just enjoy looking through all the posts of constant complaining and arguing? I havnt been on the forums long, but damn this Ruin business has turned the forums into a complete s**t show lol I know it's not the most friendly place, but ruin seems to be triggering issue for many. 😂 its 4.30am and I cant sleep, it generally just keeps me entertained reading while I lay here awake doing nothing.
I think its funny watching the complaint threads pop up. You can tell who doesn't want training wheels taken off or those who "refuse to spend money" are or those who just think the entire dev team owes them something specifically.
The game continues to improve and get better. The forums are a great indicator of that.

I mean your first problem is playing a console..

I hope you guys be ready for the tunneling, camping, slugging, moris and iri addons. Genrush will be boring for us survivor mains and annoying for killer mains. Also queues will be longer for survivors. With Ruin nerf will begin a dark time to DBD for all, survivors and killers. Just two days...
Lmaoooo jesus man, this is dramatic.

Actually, according to steam charts, the game has grown and continues to grow.
Twitch has "Dead By Daylight" regularly in the top highest game streams.
I've been playing since 2016 day 1 launch. The game is gradually improving. The veterans who've been here along the way however, are the ones who're stagnant and have aversion to any kind of change whatsoever.
According to Steam Charts, the game has seen an overall increase over 4 years of:
2016 Average Players: 29,995
2017 Average Players: 26,580
2018 Average Players: 39,292
2019: Average Players: 41,652
Net Growth: 11,657 (Or 2,914 a year / 242 a month)
2020 Is already showing an 11,000 player increase over January 2019, which means they're seeing the numbers increase vs last year already.
Aside from 2017, this game has seen year over year growth. It's not astronomical like a Triple A game release or like your run of the mill Battle Royale (which dies off within a quarter or so).
From 2016 to today, I think the problem with this player base is the "veteran" player base. I speak from experience as an R1 Surv and an R3 killer over the last 4 years. The vets of this game are whiny, toxic and stagnant.
I just sat through a video listening to a guy who hasn't spent a dime on the game and is caterwauling about the new players being catered to because they spend money. If you don't see that as a perfect example of what I'm talking about with the veteran player base, I don't know what to tell you.

Sometimes I just potato myself into a quick death.
But I do enjoy seeing what they have, why do we have to wait? Is it because of telling other survivors?
I guess I'm just answering my own question, I'm hitting submit anyways.
Because SWF is a thing.
But you already sorted it out ;)

There is DBD tournaments? That sounds sweaty
The game is played by a wide variety of players and is routinely sitting on the top twitch streams with 20k+ people.
You can win cash prizes with your team in these tournaments as well. Gaming is a passion for a lot of people and this game does a great job of fomenting passion.
-
There is such a small percentage of players that have even crossed the threshold of R5, let alone the Red Ranks.
I'm convinced the player base has such a high skill divide on both killer and survivor, Tier lists are pretty much irrelevant outside of those groups that routinely participate in competitive tournaments.
Change my mind?
-
I never say "GG EZ" because I'm not a steaming pile of garbage. I'd thundercrumped survivors and killers and I've been thundercrumped as well.
I think the most beta simp thing a person does in a game is using the milquetoast "gg ez."
-
I think another licensed release would be a pretty bold move with some of the proposed reworks they have planned. I think we'll see a unique release.

I think you and everyone like you should play both sides. That’s the issue in this game. Killers think survivors are entitled and survivors think killers are op try hards. If you play both sides you get to not only become a better player, but also develop a better understanding and appreciation for what each other have to deal with. Seriously, people who complain non stop on here usually only main one side and it shows.
Yeah man, playing both sides definitely gives you a much better perspective on the Early/Mid/Late game plays.
-
For the record, I would not depend on Ruin. Too many killers depend on that Hex and they forget about the other combinations they can use to slow games down. With the Ruin re-work coming, you'll want to start looking for new combos.
Also, the killer is at a disadvantage in the way that its 4v1 and they have more linear objectives in front of them. The game is easy to pick up but can be difficult to master.

R1 Survivor and R3 Killer here:
I have no problems with how the game plays. It's supposed to be challenging in higher ranks. If you're having a hard time succeeding on either side, you're probably in a rank where you don't belong.
