It’s about 110 to 120M by my guestimation.
-
I’ve been closing hatch these last few days because of the end game hooks challenge. I don’t carry survivors to it or anything but leaving slugs isn’t really much better.
-
It’s an odd situation having additional cosmetics behind a legendary pay wall. I really do like the Bloody Legendaries idea though. I think it’d be great.

I dont get why bhvr didn’t release the event with the new chapter
To allow players to focus on the new chapter by itself before getting washed over with all the excitement of the anniversary.
I appreciate it because I’ll be able to prestige the new chapter characters without adding a ton of cakes on them. I’d rather be putting all my survivor earned cakes on my mains.

75 Mikhaila
30 Oni
20 Hillbilly, Wraith
16 Trapper, Artist
15 Deathslinger, Knight
14 Nemesis, Haddie
13 Plague, Spirit
No killer is below P10. I play more killer than survivor but I would like a bunch of P100s for both sides over time.
-
I got accused of hacking twice in the last week. So the paranoia seems to be increasing.
-
If I remember right, the deep rift cosmetics from the last three rifts are exclusive. None of these will appear in the store.
-
I have 68k shards. I pretty much use them exclusively for cosmetics. With the recent changes of all outfits being available for shards, it’s gotten more difficult to pick which outfits.
When I first started on Steam, I had already built a pretty large PS account. So when I began on Steam I used shards to buy bloodpoints to help jumpstart my prestiging.
Thats more than caught up plus the saved Tome challenges/grade reset bonuses help me with new characters now. So just cosmetics.
-
I think a big part of the draw to DBD for me is the progression system. If that’s something that doesn’t pull you in, then the feeling of accomplishment will be lacking after each match.
-
Now that I see we are voting on what kind of multiplier we get on the week following the release of the new chapter, I am even more inclined towards the Bloodrush.
1.5x Bloodpoints will get my new characters Prestiged a bit before the Twisted Masquerade event. Helps with a little bit of prep.
-
I think objectively, shards (from player level) is far more valuable than bloodpoints. But more bloodpoints will let me get my next P100.
Although not objectively the better option, I want a bunch of P100s and that’s going to take a long time.

I like playing as Twins. They have all the hallmarks of a high end killer too. Moves fast, can hit survivors while moving fast, does not rely on perks to win.
Walks like a duck, talks like a duck, plays like a high tier killer.
If I miss a lunge and Charlottes far away, I completely lose that survivor. There’s counterplay, although complex to explain in a short timeframe to my less experienced friends. Combine with low pick rates. Mix in high tier power. ‘Monster at high MMR.’
-
There are games where I prefer unhooks to happen quicker. If you wait sixty seconds, then chase, then down someone, that potentially takes forty to fifty seconds longer for the next hook than just leaving for a new chase.
If I’m losing badly and that scenario plays out, I probably proxy camp.
So basically my decision making is based on number of gens remaining.
-
My guess is the Twins rework is what we now call Knight. Send Victor out to patrol. He can hold a chase for a bit; pinch survivors with Charlotte. Knight instead.

I honestly don't see why i should go through the whole time wasting procedure of recording a match, cropping the video, uploading it to YouTube just because bhvr refuses to implement a functioning system themselves.
I'm not working for them nor am i paid, and uploading videos is a huge time waste other than bandwidth occupation. If they can't be bothered implementing a functioning report system that doesn't require a user to go through all this hassle, I can't be bothered going through the hassle either.
I'll just report in game and be done with it, not enough? Not my fault
The alternative is banning people without evidence.
-
Smaller maps mean less time on generators as well. The town is very strong loops back to back. The main building has several looping iterations that are strong. Kill shack is planted right in the middle of the map. And the desert area has three to four safe pallets.
Yes, a killer can exhaust the resources in a couple of areas. But survivors can absolutely, and often do, dominate this map.
-
I think AFKing is reportable. Based on what was described without more information does not sound reportable.
-
For the power, a big part of the learning curve is timing. Time to charge his sprint and how long to cover the distance between the start of a sprint and a survivor. Mix in getting a feel for the extremely high initial turning speed.
After that, then mix in different addons. Pretty much all of his strongest addons have drawbacks. It leads to a lot of frustration.
There are like five or so worth running with variation in opinions. It gets very nuanced, especially for a beginner. Builds can be utilized to offset these (like Tuned Carberator with Game Afoot and Play With Your Food).
Doom engravings may be his best addon. But death engravings is not. Stacking these is why many players feel he is so hard to use. It’s self handicapping.
-
I looked up the last Prime Reward. It was released on 4/26/2023 and ‘ends’ on 5/26/2023. So if this is not the last Prime Reward (hope not) then we should get something tomorrow.
-
I would say if we’re trying to be objective about which killers deserve P100’ing, it’d be any killer with four or five great addons with Very Rare or Iridescent rarity.
-
Killer P100s will likely just be a happy coincidence with my leveling style. I mostly spread the points out as I play many killers.
My average killer Prestige Level is just over 13 with my highest being 29. New killers included.
If I had focused on just one killer, I would have one and a half since the rework. Same with survivors.
-
Cheaters get banned. The report system works. Anyone who says otherwise is extremely disingenuous.
Record the match with the player cheating and send a report.
BHVR has clearly done a lot of the cheater front. Almost completely negating it back in what? December? They’re back-ish but you can tell it’s very limited in comparison to how over run things felt a year ago.
-
They are massively behind for their time. Most killers get five outfits pretty quickly. Twins I feel like they’ve been handicapped by her unusual art style.
-
It’s not known for sure or not. But it is expected today.

Had a game where a Trapper destroyed my team. I was the last one left and i fully expected them to kill, but they intentionaly let me wiggle free. They stood and let me open the gate but downed me right away and hooked me. I'm fine with someone not giving mercy (or actually being merciful) on a survivor but don't pretend to be nice just to dunk on them right away. Either kill me right away or let me go. I'm not your plaything.
I'm likely making this a bigger deal than it is since it just happened to be fair.
Thanks for reading my rant
Letting you open the gate was a nice gesture by itself. It’s really not that different from letting the last survivor do a totem before a sacrifice.

Cool thread. I’ve been enjoying Knight quite a bit lately. Once I figured out a few strategies with him he’s felt very good. The multi task feel of his gameplay rocks.
I want to politely disagree about Knights addons. I do agree that the three addons mentioned do feel nice but I pretty much only run his Very Rare and Iridescent addons. They have my favorite combinations and playstyles. I would however agree that pretty much all the Rare (green) Addons are bad and not worth running.
-
Third time today. I've never seen it this bad before. I managed to get two games in a row before being kicked. This is pitiful.
-
Wow I just got disconnected by the game again. Fifteen minute ban now because I was booted by DBD's server two times in three games.
-
Came here looking for a similar thread. I've been randomly disconnected from matches once a day now for a while. Like I am winning my match as killer and booted. Very frustrated with this. I just want to play.
-
It ruins the competitiveness and excitement of a match. The remaining players now are drained of the potential fun that could have been had and deal with a shell of a trial.
If DBD is this upsetting for a player who frequently disconnects, not only would that player be happier playing something else (I hear Civilization is good). So would every other player in the lobby.
-
Knights crab glove swipe of the blade is very satisfying. Skull Merchants, too. Plus her new cosmetics weapons have differing animations.
-
Had a Freddy daily yesterday that had multiple quitters. Got the daily but man that was just lame-o gameplay.
The thing about tunneling always having an excuse definitely works for people quitting, too. I’m sure they thought the snares were just too offensive.

Wouldn't call Knight chapter a dumpster fire. A bit lacking in some aspects but overall decent all things considered. Tools of Torment, on the other hand, really is one. I really hope the anniversary chapter isn't gonna be another obvious "license holders pulled out at last minute so we came up with something real quick from the assets".
I like Knight, too. Getting aggravated with the negativity going towards him.
Great aesthetic. Not overly oppressive yet unique playstyle from the killer perspective.
The gen kick meta has been nerfed so I am not even sure why people still dislike him cause I thought it was three genning meta and not the Knight that garnered all this negativity.
-
Dead hard change was good for the game. Has nothing to do with other negative aspects of the game.
-
Also was curious about this. The last community reward was tracked in a mini tome.
-
It’s not 97%? I thought the best was 75% with the very rare and uncommon addons. There’s also the suture which greatly increases progress on skillchecks.
-
Lol the old Haddonfield was far worse. They did a lot of fixes to it over the years. Before the remake it wasn’t so bad. But the forever fence issue alone was insane.
The house of pain with the fall into it windows were insane. The main building with areas only reached by vaults was insane.
Many many problems. Some were toned down like I said above but it is no comparison which one is better for the game. The current ideation.
-
It’s still not SWF. It’s still really good players vs not really good players.
Winning chases is still the best gen regression. That dissolves even the worse SWFs.
-
You cannot dead hard Deathslingers ability. @Nos37
I personally love the aesthetic and playstyle of Artist and Knight. Are we discussing the enjoyment of a killer from just the survivors perspective?
If so, none of this matters. Blight is hated too.
-
Too situational. Don’t see it happening.
-
Love playing Knight. I think the core of why I enjoy him so much is the feeling of multitasking with the guards. Breaking pallets midchase. Pincer moves. Zoning survivors into the corners of the map.
Once I got down some of the do’s and don’ts of the Knight he felt incredibly fun to play.
Mostly I just hear that he’s unfun to play against. His Deep Rift skin is really sick, too. Even before his buffs his aesthetic was great.
-
I thought quite a few of the new skins were solid. I particularly liked Artist, Knights, and Skull Merchants. Can’t argue with more content though.
-
Ive been playing a lot of Knight since his mid chapter fix. I personally almost exclusively play with his iridescent and very rare addons. Based on that, I don’t think any common or uncommon addons need to be made basekit.
Basically learning when to drop a guard mixed with some sort of pincer move crushes most teams. Really enjoy playing this killer.
-
If those numbers are accurate that is truly impressive.
-
The Knight chapter was great. Hardly a failed chapter. Mastermind and Knight were both really fun chapters this year alone.
Knight took me some time to learn how to play him. Once I got it down I have a blast as him.
Im giving Skull Merchant that same level of grace. The recent update changed everything.

Depipping is fine.

Killers will never get basekit anything.
Well, except basekit Brutal Strength and STBFL. And a mini pop with no time constraint.
Will never again though.

We are not nerfing Self-care again.
That’s a few seconds short of any Medkit. Probably should be closer to 36 seconds.
