  • Wraith is fine and honestly they probably don't need to touch him ever again.

  • Yes, it's a good perk on Doctor.

  • Every game I have played that has an MMR system either has me stomping people or getting stomped myself

    Usually back and forth

  • Honestly this needs to be addressed.

I'd rather have slightly longer queues than play with cry babies because they are bad at the game and get downed by a Clown or Huntress 30 seconds into the game.

Just make it so that you can't try to unhook yourself if you are the first person hooked.

  • Very good suggestions, the biggest issue I have with Larry is how finicky the camera system feels at times, and whenever I move the camera off a Survivor for even half a second, it resets the pod progress.

Can we also please make pod progress last at least 3 ish seconds? It feels overly punishing to not be perfectly precise with such a janky power that is constantly disrupted by items and small things blocking Survivors from being hit with a pod.

  • It IS a strong perk.

Personally I think they should bring back the cooldown after vaulting, having ESP to every safe spot on the map is just lame and makes chases incredibly boring, predictable and repetitive as Killer, turning a high intensity chase into pallet kicking simulator.

It's not OP, but boy is it ever so terribly boring.

huntress can get it easily with good aim deathslinger too

hag.. bro its one of lowest killer usage rate

Resilience  only makes you faster for 0.100 seconds wdym

endurace doesnt matter since its an chase perk

this perk is already fine because i dont get in trouble for all killers i play

Just because the numbers seem small doesn't mean they are, if you cannot understand this then there is no reason to even have this discussion at all.

  • Please stop playing so I don't have you in my games, thanks.

Nobody wants a teammate who gives up at the beginning of the match.

  • It extends chase with Killers by 20%.

It massively impacts M1 immobile Killers, the worst in the game.

It has no downside, it can be combined with some exhaustion perks, and can also be used with Resilience to extend chases by 30+ seconds for simply being injured.

Can be combined with Hope in end game to be 110%, the same speed that Killers like Hag, Huntress, Deathslinger, etc are.

It also has an Endurance effect for some reason, because the Devs didn't bother testing it and somehow thought it wasn't good enough.

Is mathematically better than at least most exhaustion perks.

There is no scenario where this perk is NOT objectively too strong, It needs a duration of 25 seconds twice per match or something, a constant 3% Haste for simply being injured is terrible design.

  • Obviously, 20% longer chases for all but the best Killers for simply being injured was a terrible decision.

I hope they limit it in some form, make it cause exhausted, and remove the endurance it gives for no reason at all.

I stand by it should activate for 25 seconds when injured twice per trial, perk refreshes when fully healed.

It would be pretty funny if this was chapter 30, going from one of the true icons of horror to this lame PG-13 garbage.

No longer the "Horror Hall of Fame" but rather the hall of literally any old shite.

You act like Texas Chainsaw hasn't put out literally bottom of the barrel garbage after the first 2 films for decades now.

  • I am so sick of people pretending DBD is this super serious game for serious characters when half the roster is goofy as hell and Survivors have cosmetics that light them up like Christmas trees.

The amount of people who rag on this franchise because it attracted an audience of children is frankly pathetic, it was never made for children at any point. The only thing made to appeal to children is merchandise, everything else about the series from the actual games and lore has never been made to appeal to kids.

And lastly, I find it abhorrent that people attack Scott Cawthon because he donated to politicians who he saw as the best fit to run the country. The right wing Christian dad from Texas is now considered an irredeemable monster by terminally online weirdos who think he wants LGBT people thrown in camps, despite him donating significant amounts of money to LGBT organizations in the past. Politicians aren't black or white, they don't 100% line up with anyone's views, that's how the real world works.

If the LGBT stuff is where you draw the line with them or Scott, fine, but don't pretend people are monsters because they care more about other issues so they can better support their own lives and loved ones.

I openly welcome FNAF as a chapter, and I am excited to see the film coming out in October.

I hope it's Springtrap if we do get a chapter. That is all.

3 out of 10. I mostly play solo q, with a tiny mix of hillbilly killer. It has never been so hard to escape in solo queue. Since xeno was released, i think i've escaped twice. Died 30 or so times. Most matches end at 5 gens when someone suicides on hook. Even unhooking them in time often results in an afk player like they alt-tabbed. I'm done for awhile.

They need to remove self unhook attempts, it's just bad for the game and besides Deliverance it is almost never worth doing in terms of actually playing the game.

Rework slippery meat, rework luck based items/addons and stop letting people just toaster bath themselves on hook because they get pissy.

  • Yes

But that's just who Nurse is, she is a Killer who you can't nerf too much without making her useless or feel awful to play

She has a relatively high skill ceiling to Nurse stomping Survivors feels rewarding and earned

I personally think SoloQ getting more QoL changes would be better for the game than nerfing any Killer besides Blight.

  • Nemesis is fine

When played well he eats through pallets like a fat kid eating cake and makes most loops unsafe for Survivor

Zombies are RNG but can be extremely strong when they work

The only things I would change about Nemesis is make the Zombie AI less prone to get stuck and buff some of his addons

  • 8/10

For DBD to be a 10/10 they would need to:

    Buff weaker Killers

Buff more underused perks from both sides

    Nerf Made For This

Encourage/Reward Killers for spreading hooks among Survivors

Make Killer MMR hook based instead of kill based

    Give Killer an FOV slider

Make half of Kindred basekit so Survivors can see each other when someone is hooked

Add controller options such as deadzone settings and different sensitivity when aiming as Huntress, Deathslinger, etc

    Remove Blight's "Hug Tech" (exploit)

Revert Survivor nerf to their speed boost when injured

Allow Survivors to bleed out if everyone is downed/you are the last one alive

Add Keyboard and Mouse to console (no reason not to with crossplay being a thing)

These are the changes I think would be universally good for the game

  • Bait them into chasing you and have a good chase, they down you and hook you eventually and you get some looping practice in.

    Win-win

  • You can still message people even when SoloQ, on Xbox I could just message someone and say "Hey the Killer has NOED, watchout".

There should absolutely be icons showing who queued up with each other in the end game screen however, no reason to hide who is SWF when the game is already over.

  • Remove the Endurance

MFT now activates twice per game for 25 seconds when injured

Must be fully healed before it can activate again

Does not activate if downed from healthy

Causes exhaustion for 40 seconds when activated

There, fair and good perk that is still useful without breaking the game

  • Ultimate Weapon is a bit overtuned.

Besides that Killer perks are in a good spot, they need weaker perk buffs right now.

  • @Steakdabait said:

My idea to give it a minor rework would be

Grim embrace can now trigger twice per match (still have to hook each survivor once each refresh)

Grim embrace now reveals the auras of ALL survivors instead of just the obsession when it triggers

The perk would still be bad but it would become the most gigachad slowdown perk in the games history.

    Oooh I like this more

Have it reveal the aura of the Survivor/Survivors with the least hooks for 10 seconds or so when hooking someone

Encourages spreading hooks and can give a double proc of 40 seconds of all Gens being paused

    Sounds very fun

  • The only change I may disagree with is Survivors getting less distance when being injured, I would have rather had weaker Killers get buffs instead.

  • One of them would inevitably be the best and you'd see them constantly in like 30% of your games.

So no, thank you. Survivors don't need to be special, what is special about them is that there are 4 of you and 16 perks in total the Killer has to watch out for as is.

Adding innate skills to that 16 long list is overkill.

First of all wrong perk, thats Rapid Brutality you're referring to. Second, MFT does have a downside to it being you can't really run Exhaustion perks with it

MFT is mathematically better than every Exhaustion perk and it isn't close.

  • It's very funny to see people who are very clearly Survivor biased pretend Medkits were fine before.

Being able to do multiple speedy heals from a single Medkit was absolutely awful design, no Medkit in the game should heal yourself more than once.

The nerfs were absolutely warranted, run Bond and heal each other.

  • They can see your prestige AFTER the game is over.

  • Clown having a large dirty needle or something as a weapon would be cool

"When he had to be away from a victim for an extended period of time, this large and intimidating syringe was used to heavily sedate them. It was never washed."

  • Revert the movement speed change when missing a tail attack

No real reason for it to be as fast as it is right now

  • Left bumper to sprint, right bumper to interact, X (Xbox) to drop pallets or vault

  • Turrets

    Greeding pallets

    Predicting tail attacks

    Crouching behind cover

  • First cosmetic in the game to change a Killer's power visually, so that's pretty neat.

  • @adaw0ng said:

I honestly can't tell if y'all are baiting or actually mean what is being said. Nobody thought the killer would be as massive as she looks like in the lobby, like she literally would not fit in the basement nor corridors. I refuse to believe anybody truly thought the size would be that big in-game LMAO. So unserious.

Then why advertise it as such? This is the first instance I have seen of a cosmetic being different in the lobby than in game, many people have likely purchased Xenomorph Queen because they thought they would get to play as her at full size as she is shown when hovering over her in the store.

  • This is true, the size is not the same in game as it is in the lobby, and the lobby should either be updated or they need to allow players to play full sized Xeno Queen in actual games.

Feels a bit misleading imo, a bit scummy to deceive players like this.

  • This depends entirely on the person who is playing.

I wouldn't necessarily say console Killers are worse than PC, it's just harder and takes longer to get the hang of, especially since the customization options on console is massively limited. They don't even have deadzone settings for analog sticks.

Will you ever be as good as a tournament level Blight who is hug teching (AKA exploiting) perfectly and hitting God shots? No, probably not.

But frankly 99% of people wouldn't be able to do that anyway, on PC or console.

It's not the person or the controllers fault it is relatively difficult, the game on console doesn't have aim acceleration settings, again no deadzone options, no sensitivity for aiming with Killers like Trickster/Huntress/Deathslinger, the lack of options is a massive hindrance in terms of comfort and this is entirely the Devs's fault for not taking the time to update console with quality of life for controller.

PS; I am fully convinced many commenters in this thread are not playing at max sensitivity on console, you should NOT be having any issues with 360's or flashlight dodges when you are at max sensitivity.

  • I would just make it have two tokens that last 30 seconds when injured, and the second token activates when fully healed.

After that, it is disabled for the rest of the trial, and remove the endurance entirely.

  • Survivors get 16 perks while Killer gets 4.

What perks do you want nerfed? And why? You give no examples...

  • Nerf his addons

His addons are what make him broken

    Nerf them

  • It's great on Killers with no Bloodlust, such as Clown, Doctor, Singularity, Pinhead, etc

  • Keyboard and Mouse support for console (no excuse for not having it with crossplay being a thing)

Analog Stick deadzone support for smoother controls when looking and moving

    Improved auto aim

Reduced recoil from Trickster throwing his knives

Custom aim sensitivity when aiming weapons on each individual Killer, like Huntress, Trickster, Deathslinger, Nemesis, Pyramid Head, etc

  • @Alice_pbg said:

have you considered having the music low enough so the skillcheck sound overpowers it? or just, looking at the screen like lullaby has max stacks?

no visual aid that triggers at the same time as the skill check appears on screen is gonna help you

I listen to the audio through my PC and play through the TV next to me.

A visual que would absolutely help and not change the game negatively in any way at all, so there is no reason to be against it considering it would also be a good update for people who have poor/no hearing.

By your logic, the audio que doesn't help people, which is just flat out wrong. There is a entire Hex perk dedicated to removing the audio and tripping people up.

  • Because being a big blubbering baby should not be rewarded.

If you have an emergency, your DC timer is like a minute at best.

And no one is facing cheaters often enough to have an extensive DC timer, so the only plausible explanation is that you are bad at the game and punish your teammates by leaving them with a brain dead bot because you couldn't stomach the idea of finishing the game you bothered to queued up for.

Frankly I hope one day they also remove trying to unhook yourself if all teammates are still alive, just so you have to stay in the game longer and actually play.

  • I would be fine with it being brought back if they nerfed MFT and removed the vault speed from Resilience.

  • Good question, you should go up to it and ask!

  • Not the first person to say this, saw a Reddit post saying the same thing (unless that was you)

  • The addon that shows where they are when tunneling and for 3 seconds after emerging is either going to be top tier or really damn underrated, if you can get the jump on the turrets they are a non issue.

They could probably take a little bit longer to respawn tho imo, like 10 seconds

  • I don't think people realize just how strong this perk can be, it definitely needs a small nerf.

With that said, I think the aura distance is what needed a nerf, not a cooldown.

No cooldown, reduce it down to 20 meters and it'll be in a good spot imo.

    • Killers gain 3% additional Gen time when each Survivor is hooked once, and with all 4 being hooked once, the additional Gen time required for completion is 15%, motivating them to spread hooks evenly and not just tunnel someone out of the game.
    • Hook progression will not continue if the Killer is within 20 meters of the hooked Survivor UNLESS another Survivor is also within 20 meters of the hook. Killers leaving a hooked Survivor are granted a brief 5% 10 second Haste to get them into their next chase faster, this deactivates if a Killer returns to the hooked Survivor. Killers now see auras of Survivors who are within 20 meters of the hooked Survivor when the Killer is also within 20 meters of the hook. This is disabled when all Generators are completed.
    • Kindred is reworked and seeing allies across the map is now base kit for Survivors when someone is hooked.
    • Shadowborn is reworked and Killers now have an FOV slider.
    • Survivors who were the last to be hooked wiggle out of the Killer's grasp 30% faster, this effect is doubled to 60% if the Survivor was last unhooked twice in a row.
    • Generators now take 10% longer by default, 4 Generator parts now randomly spawn on the map and are visible to Survivors at all times (even when Blinded), each Survivor can only pick up one part once unless another Survivor has been sacrificed, parts can be installed to reduce Generator duration by 20% permanently (one per Generator). If all 4 parts are installed, a special 5th part spawns that reduces a Generator's duration by 30%. Generator parts require a brief installation animation, no perks in the game effect Generator parts or their effects on either side. Generator parts dropped by sacrificed Survivors respawn randomly somewhere on the map.
    • Killer MMR is now determined by Survivors hooked rather than Survivors sacrificed.
    • Bi-Monthly perk buffs for 3 perks with the lowest usage rates for both Killer and Survivor.
    • Map Offerings now prevent a map from being chosen.
    • SWF are shown in the end game screen.
  • @Shroompy said:

Thing is the 3% Haste is not the issue, the issue is the Endurance status that comes with it like its a value pack at a discount you find at Walmart.

It messing with muscle memory isn't really an issue, especially with the example you gave with new players. They are probably the last people who are getting value out of this perk since they don't know how to properly loop properly, nor are they going to be going for risky plays like committing to a heal when the killer is coming. MfT gets the most value the more experienced the user is and doesn't necessarily act as a crutch since those people were/are playing just fine without it.

Also FtP and Buckle Up is not a bugged combo since Buckle Up doesn't require you to be injured unlike MfT.

No the 3% Haste is absolutely a massive issue, idk where anyone got the idea that the Endurance is the issue, the 3% Haste is a massive middle finger to M1 Killers who are already the weakest in the game.

Unlimited 3% Haste for being injured that doesn't have any negative drawbacks or some kind of limit is not okay and it is better than every Exhaustion perk easily.

Take away the Endurance and make MFT 3% Haste last 30 seconds twice per match, MFT reactivates only when fully healed and the perk deactivates for the rest of the match when both instances of 30 seconds are used.
