I brought up hope bcs you did first saying how bad it was combined?? NOED still gives a 5% speed boost WHILE you already being faster than survivors. Combine with undying and a bunch of STBFL stacks or literally any other speed perk PLUS BLOODLUST?? I’d say you’re at a hefty speed already, so MFT was made to counter this, I’ve dealt with survivors combining MFT, Hope, and DH and still killed them. MFT may at best extend chases and give extra loop time which is the entire point of survivor, to distract and get objectives done. Use your power effectively (not speaking to M1 killers although being one is not excuse for an MFT nerf) and just get gud. No need for an MFT nerf.
MFT extends chases by potentially double to triple their length by allowing Survivors to reach Windows and Pallets they wouldn't otherwise, a single one of these can make or break whether someone lives or dies.
Why do you think Dead Hard was nerfed? For the EXACT same reason.
-
It needs either a distance reduction or a cooldown, it is free wallhacks for every safety net across half of nearly ever map.
I don't think people understand just how crazy this perk is, it's the most used for a reason.
-
Made For This: Speed boost is reduced to a duration of 10 seconds. Endurance effect removed.
Resilience: No longer effects vaulting in any way or form, effect reduced to 7%
Windows of Opportunity: Reduced to 20 meters and has a cooldown of 10 seconds after dropping a pallet or vaulting.
Buckle Up: Idk just fix that stupid For The Peepo combo
-
Map needs to be made basekit and Jailer needs a speed buff.

I think it's funny that I can always tell when someone is running Windows because they just autopilot from yellow aura to yellow aura.
A better fix to Windows though would be to bring back the cooldown. The auras disappear for 20s any time you drop a pallet or vault. That way you still get the benefits of the perk but you have to use some skill by remembering where the pallets are and planning a route to use them well.
I'm just sick of Survivors having a 24/7 wallhacks enabled to every safety net in the game.

HOPE AND MFT ARE PRACTICALLY THE SAME ODDS????
My post wasn't about Hope but with MFT it is definitely an issue, so idk what your point is. NOED got nerfed hard and rightfully so, doesn't magically make Hope and MFT suddenly okay.
-
Camp, tunnel, you can play nice or play to win.
As for Survivor, run Distortion. Keeps you from being found first, and naturally maybe play someone like Claudette or Adam instead of Jane of Yun-Jin. Darker = harder to see, some might take offense but it's just a fact. Slap on some dark clothes and watch Killers often walk right past you on darker maps.
-
Spreading hooks doesn't win games and isn't rewarded for doing so.
If Gens got slowed down with the more hooks you have, that would encourage Killers to spread out and hook other people, but instead it rewards you with a big fat nothing.
There is objectively no reason not to tunnel other than to be nice, and I try to avoid doing it, but then 3 gens pop and I remember why playing nice is meaningless in this game.
-
Why play a weaker Killer and get told to unalive yourself by a team of Meal Team 6 when you can play a Killer that actually can somewhat compete against the BS Survivors have access to?

Hope is useful for 1/5th of a match. What is your beef with? Hope or MFT? Pick one.
Hope is fine, but MFT is not. Combine them and you have Survivors running at 110%. Any educated person who plays this game should know why that is not okay.

Then use NOED and STBFL. Stop complaining about YOUR incompetence.
Nice just use a perk that's only useful for 1/5th of the match, awesome advise.

Made For This, Windows of Opportunity, Prove Thyself, Bond or random fourth perk of personal choice.
Play with friends and you will stomp 80% of Killers.

Nah, we had to learn to counter Onryo, so deal with it.
Literally one of the worst Killers in the game bro

Hope + Made for This is making me to just go to the corner of the map as soon as I see Survivors have it and just wait out the 2 minutes. Almost Impossible to catch them unless they do huge mistake.
Hope + Made For This is literally not fair. Hag can't even catch up if she wanted to.

It's literally fine. The list of killers adversely affected by it is very short.
Literally every Killer that is not Nurse, Blight, or ranged is adversely effected by this.
The best Killers are unaffected while it is a baseball bat the head of the weakest Killers, it is AWFUL design that has ruined the game.
-
Don't think this is an excuse to not nerf Made For This, I don't care if it's the least picked perk in the game.
Nerf it.

It's not a 20% speed boost. That's factually wrong. Haste is a speed boost. Survivors are gaining 20% more distance with MFT than without, which is not equal to a 20% speed boost.
I've got around 1400 hours on dbd, and I agree with Otz's assessment that the perk is strong and does too much, but the haste by itself is fine.
Maybe instead of assuming the amount of hours a player has, you should focus on getting better as killer?
The Haste itself is literally the issue...
-
Oni, Wesker, Billy, Bubba, Nemesis, Sadako, Clown, any Killer who goes for hooks instead of kills
Cept Hag, Hag can jump off a bridge.

Bruv I've played a lot of Pig and you would (probably not) be shocked by how many survivors get demolished because they don't know the simple law of Booping the Snoot.
Seriously though, Pigs are legally required to let you go if you give them a boop. It's in the survivor rulebook.
Back on topic though, MFT is an extremely powerful perk. I won't say it's OP, but I will say that I hate it because it makes me paranoid. If I'm having trouble catching a survivor I don't know if it's because they're running MFT or they're just cracked or if they're subtle hacking. It's genuinely unfun to play against, and it needs to be nerfed at least a little bit because it gives survivors too many benefits with absolutely no cost.
God I swear I am on the same page with you about subtle hacking, some Survivors have been a wee bit fast and I can't tell if its the perk or not, they have ruined the muscle memory people have because of this awful designed perk.

Lol

Fun in a SWF, absolute BS solo. One of the few Killers I would say is completely unfair as a solo player, it's like randoms are allergic to the box.

Killers get free bloodlust after 15 sec - 5%. You should be ashamed for this post.
You do not play against good Survivors and it shows. That is all I am going to say to you, you do not know what you are talking about.

You're really not, but okay. 3% Haste has nothing on 15% Hindered (Clown) and nobody gets juiced by Pig.
A 20% speed boost to Survivors is not fair in any capacity and it is better than any exhaustion perk.
20% longer chases is another pallet or another window, it literally breaks the game against weaker Killers and makes the game not worth playing unless you play Nurse or Blight.
I really like 20hr players coming in here and pretending they know what they are talking about when it is obvious they have not played an M1 Killer against these perks against good players who use things like Windows of Opportunity or communicate in a SWF.
-
All M1 Killers feel bad to play, thank the Devs for ruining the game with perks like MFT.
-
Instead of an opinion I can give you a fact;
Made For This is not healthy for the game in any capacity, it is useless against top tier Killers like Blight and Nurse and a bullet to the head of any M1 non mobile Killer.
This perk succeeds at nothing except making the game not fun for every Killer that doesn't have high mobility, ranged attacks or game breaking mechanics.
I am playing Clown right now and even with the slowdown of his bottles, it is impossible to catch up to a Survivor on something like Dead Dawg's building. The perk effectively disabled my power.
It's not JUST Made For This, it's also the fact that the extra distance gives you an extra window, an extra pallet, so many small things that snowball into a massive issue that cannot and should not be tolerated in any capacity.
This is one of if not outright the worst designed perk they have ever released, and years ago people would have laughed at you if you suggested it.
I know for a FACT they did not test this perk, no sane person would see how this perk treats M1 Killers and think it is okay. Not one Dev bothered to play Trapper or Pig against a Squad with this perk and it painfully shows, and I will callout anyone who implies otherwise as a complete liar. I want video recording of their gameplay as proof, otherwise I don't believe it for a single second.

I disagree. I think the perk without endurance and haste stacking is healthy for the game. It's an alternative to exhaustion perks. Friendly reminder that Overcome exists.
What M1 killers are you referring to that are so weak that this perk significantly impacts them?
Literally any M1 Killer who has little to no chase power, it makes a MASSIVE difference as it is not just a 3% buff but a 20% speed buff from the perspective of 100% movement speed Survivors vs. 115% movement speed M1 Killers.
-
The perk is bad for the game and should not exist, period, end of discussion.
It should at best last maybe 10 seconds after being injured, and that's a gigantic maybe.
Anyone who disagrees does not play a weaker M1 Killer and it shows.
-
Netflix and it's people are petty, egotistical, and worst of all dumb as bricks.
They won't allow it back even if it would be a 100% benefit to them at nearly no cost.
