  • Fog Whisperes promoting toxicity and BM? That´s more of a rhetorical question, really.

I still have my fingers crossed that Otz´ community patch notes will at least bring certain problems to the DEVs attention. We´ll see about that, though.

BTW I think their main purpose is to expose DBD to more people, isn´t it?

  • Looks great, hope you share more Jane Fan art in the future :)

Okay, I understand your points. But not to get on a what about thing here...but, what about nurse? If you watch tournaments or even play the game a lot you tend to come across a good nurse. I don't mean just a good nurse but a freaking good nurse. There isn't much you can do. Almost every tournament is nurse with hex: retribution, hex: ruin, hex: haunted ground, hex: noed. It's a blood bath. Yet this seems to be universally accepted because nurse requires a great deal of skill to be really, really good at her. The majority of nurses you face are just not that good. Is it the same for object? Can a survivor not have something that if they are really good it benefits them greatly?

Also, I agree with most of what you said except people not using it because it's unfun and overpowered. If that is the way survivors thought we wouldn't be facing teams full of DS UB every single match.

Well it´s about Object here, but to address your point: Nurses do get rekt in tournaments, it´s far from an auto-win. I understand though that a tourney level Nurse versing 4 solos is just as unfair as facing a good SWF with Object as Trapper.

If you´re unhappy about that, give feedback. Maybe you´re more lucky or elaborate than me and you´ll get listened to, GL, and I mean it. I think DBD would be in a better place if all the crazy broken stuff would get addressed faster than 1 good thing and 3 pig nerfs every 2 years.

This is kinda an unpopular opinion, but I´ve changed my stance on DS+UB a bit. It´s crazy strong for sure, but well, over the years playing Killer I picked up the habit to always play around these automatically anyway. I very rarely get hit by DS, for example.

Can you explain why? If it is so incredibly powerful, do most survivors just not use it out of the kindness of their hearts?

It´s for several reasons. First, to use Objects full potential you have to be in a team of at least 3. With a duo it´s very strong, but to abuse it to it´s full extend that´s not enough.

Second, it requires good skills and coordination to do so, feats the vast majority of the playerbase do not possess. Hence the high death rate, most potatos that try bullying the Killer get themselves killed in the process.

Third, yes, I think many people refrain from using it because they realise how overpowered and unfun it actually is. Given they are experienced players, though.

Edit: I envy you. It´s not like every other game but a couple times per day I get Objects.

  • I´d ask them how much the feedback of the community actually matters to them. Like, in all honesty and not a washed down prescripted answer.

For example, in the context of the current hot topic, it seemingly didn´t matter at all.

Don't forget playing without OP addons and using a killer which is not spirit or nurse.

Oh, and if it's a hag or trapper then it's even better

That´s a significant issue. If Object rises in use the high rank meta will narrow down even more. There are only a select few Killers that either benefit directly from Object or are less affected by it. Those Killers that are already considered weaker by the experienced players will get driven out even more. No one can tell me with a straight face that an Object team is balanced vs Trapper.

Nope, Jake And Trapper have a love triangle with Ace.

    Source: Trust me Bro.

Didn´t all that start the day Trapper caught Jake messing with his traps and seeing how skilled Jake was with his hands?

I'd not hold my breath about that since its a Survivor perk we're talking about this time.

There are examples of that, too. The most significant one I can think of rn would be Mettle of Man. Nowhere near as strong as Object but it was changed pretty fast too due to the backlash.

  • @Pawcelot said:

Never going to happen. Can you imagine the outrage of all survivors if a strong SWF perk was nerfed? They cannot risk upsetting the majority because angry customers don't buy anything.

Not so sure about that. During the recent Dev Stream, MCote brought up the very important aspect that Object is horrible to play against. There is a chance they will realise that looking at espace rates and nothing else that brings context is incredibly dumb. See dying light, this is a popular example of a perk that wasn´t used much and wasn´t that strong yet promoted toxic and unfun gameplay, hence it got changed.

  • @Kind_Lemon said:

again, another issue with SWF comms more so than OoO (even though OoO is still an enabler of the issue).

Honestly, I don't think solo survivor gameplay and SWF gameplay can ever be truly made similar enough in the same gamemode while still keeping the atmosphere that makes DbD what it is, which is somewhat disappointing.

However, if somehow DbD miraculously incorporated Among-Us style rules on voice chat use, then I would be behind that mentality shift. How would this be done, when, and in what way? I have no idea. Idk if it could even make sense. This is just a stray cloud from a brainstorm.

Yes, it´s also a SWF issue. As Trapper, you pick up a habit to relocate the used traps that either catched someone or were discovered anyway. If you gamble on the Survivors being solos, more often than not it will backfire.

But not even that is feasible when their team has Object(s). In case of Trapper, you´re right, this perk is the enabler of depriving him of his power ez for the entirety of the match or until the Object is gone.

I agree with your Solo vs SWF point to a degree, since I think we still got a little room to bring the two very different Survivor experiences a little closer together.

  • The more you know. I was always under the impression he actually was public domain. Very suprising tbh.

  • You, Sir, have a vivid fantasy. I kinda like it^^

  • If you struggle against Oni, play him for a bit. You can juke his Kanabo. Not on every tile and it´s very hard to do so in the open. The best counterplay is to deprive him of his power as long as possible , meaning no risky plays and sacrificing a couple pallets early will pay off. Without the very important 1st hit he needs to start farming up his power, he´s pathetically weak, balancing his very strong power mode out.

  • Slender is licensed?

  • @GoodLookinCookin said:

You are not entitled, but sounds like the killer did nothing wrong either.

It´s not neccessarily wrong, but it´s something many people dislike, me included. When I have literally no reasonable chance of finding and downing the 4th Survivor fast, I won´t slug to secure the 4k. It´s a waste of time in my opinion, but to each their own. I can understand if the Killer goes for Adept or sth since the 4k is basically required for that, but other than that, nah, let´s play hatch game.

  • @Pulsar said:

There are innumerable reasons that balancing solely off of statistics is a bad idea.

For example, a reason for your current complaint may be that Survivor is simply to easy to rank up as. A Red Ranked Killer, generally, cannot be boosted to that Rank and the pip requirements are pretty strict, to the point where a 2K is likely a Safety or De-Pip, depending on how fast gens were done.

As Survivor, you can be boosted by SWF and the pip requirements are not extremely hard. So long as you have one or two decent chases, do a gen or two (or be chased while someone else is doing gens) and rescue a single teammate, odds are, you are going to at least safety. It's pretty easy to get to Red Ranks as Survivor.

This causes a HUGE skill disparity between Survivors and Killers at Red Ranks since the Survivors should be in Purple or Green Ranks, and the Killers generally do not. Then, when Killers encounter Red Rank Survivors who actually have the skill to be there, they get stomped, hence why there are people, such as yourself, that believe Killer to be OP, and other people believe Survivor to be OP. We cannot know for sure until people play against others at their own skill level.

MMR was supposed to fix this and settle the debate, but it came with its own massive problems.

I wish I could upvote you more bud.

What a great mindset! I feel the same way as a survivor-- I have to remember the person playing is probably having fun watching that spiky legged thing drag me into the sky lol! And it's good to think about consequences, I have been chased through three gens and I wasn't able to work on more than one which was lame, but I need to either die sooner or hide well. Also, matches where they provoke you are so crummy. I hate when they lead me to pallets and flashlight me before I even do the animation because I'm just like pls,,, pls have mercy lol! Good luck in your next matches and y'know what? I hope you get a 4k, you seem to care about their fun too :)!

Aw thank you so much :) yes it's a game after all and I don't want anyone going out of a match and feeling like crap. That's why I never use moris unless I have someone in my lobby I recognice from previous matches where they acted especially rude (not talking the occasional tbagging after a nice move, a bit of cockiness is mostly fun so that's ok imo). You seem like the person people love to play with and against, more power to you and your positive attitude ;-)

The thing is that survivors dont get an excuse for what they run. Killers are egotistical and think survivors need to obey them. If survivors run something killers deem as unfair they start calling them sweaty and toxic.

These kinds of generalisations don´t help anyone and contribute to the toxicity this community is plagued by. "Killers" means players since many people play both sides. Every argument complaining about Killers bringing x or Survivors bringing y boils down to exactly the same.

  • 4E of course sucks for the Killer. Given how rare it happens (and theyre not rubbing it in with the classic tbagging, gg ez ksy pos baby killer) I´m sometimes glad they can enjoy their victory. There´s never case where I could say " Oh I played like a god and they still got out ree". I can usually point out what I should have done differently. When I practice a Killer I don´t usually play, a 4E is what I actually expect for a couple matches.

Depending on the setup and Killer used (I mostly play Killers you will find near the bottom of every Tier list as my mains, namely Trapper, Myers and Clown) sometimes it feels unfair. Playing Killer is unforgiving against good survivors, to the point where you whiff once or chase a survivor for a couple seconds too long, you lost unless they screw up royally.

I only ever get frustrated when they go out of their way to make my match miserable when they manage to beat me or use object.

  • Heavily nerfing/reworking Object of Obsession, balance adjustmens to Keys, Moris and the select OP addons, buffing solo closer to SWF, in this order.

I see nothing wrong with using them, and I don’t mind them used against me.

If that puts me in the minority, so be it.

I refuse to join the complaint squad on everything that presents a decent challenge in this game.

How nice, I played a solo match yesterday and we all made it out against an iri head ebony mori huntress. It was a great game, really tense and fun.

I´d argue though that playing Trapper against a good object team is more than a "decent challenge".

#########? why joking around instead closing this post and ban op?

Maybe, just maybe because this post is wholesome, positive and doesn´t include personal derogatory attacks towards anyone. I might be wrong though.

  • It will propably get you tunneled and camped. As Killer you have to assume SWF when you see an Object, so the majority of the Roster will have to tunnel you to stand a chance.

  • Object is not fine. In my opinion it´s the strongest asset a SWF can bring apart from comms. It´s strong vs all but the very strongest Killers. It´s broken on some maps. It´s broken against certain Killers. The alleged downside isn´t really a downside since the circumstances are always dictated by the Object. In the hands of a good team it´s power potential surpasses anything else.

  • Unless you encounter Survivors that are tremendously more experienced than you and given you´re a competent Oni, you will do just fine. His weak start is what keeps him in check balance-wise, since in his power he´s one of the strongest Killers.

  • I "main" Myers and I agree, tombstone piece is BS. Going from the latest dev stream it might be on their list of things that will get looked at, hopefully they will.

His basekit is fine though. You just loop him. You have to play a bit safer and don´t greed another loop before throwing the pallet. He has average (=very bad) mobility, he´s not one of the more difficult killers to beat.

    1) They're not immune, but the disadvantage of giving the killer an exact aura reading on you far outweighs knowing when a killer is within 72m within a wide cone of the map. You can basically say "this killer is on this third of the map" in exchange for them knowing your exact location. Not a fair trade.

    2) That absolutely does help you as killer. Every piece of information you can get on survivor location is useful. There's a reason why things like Bitter Murmur take up an entire perk slot, despite the short aura reading duration they offer. That might tell you where to go with your next pop, or where to start your next chase. If you're chasing towards the spot where the object was doing an objective, that might even allow you to slug and jump into another chase. Against a SWF that already knows where I am, I am totally fine with one person knowing my exact location in exchange for knowing theirs. Good luck calling out moonwalks and head fakes quickly and accurately enough to make a real difference in chases, even if you're sweating hard enough to have developed concise callouts, which I sincerely doubt teams even do outside of tournaments. I have never played against a SWF with an object that watched me throughout every chase with teammates that never fell for my mindgames. Theoretically it's possible especially in bigger loops where they should have more time to react, but in practice it's not a problem.

    3) Against Trapper, yes, it is insane and broken to be able to see where every trap is placed. Against Hag, good luck communicating her traps accurately enough and having a good enough memory that you can break her web faster than she can repair it without taking free hits and without also ignoring gens. She will wreck OoO users and non-OoO users just the same.

    4) How do survivors get 10-30 seconds of heads up before any chase? You need to know exactly where your teammates are in addition to exactly where the killer is to even start calling that out. On many maps that is not going to be possible, even with good callouts, especially in the early game where that's most useful. You're only rarely going to get much more information than a normal SWF would already have. Maybe against killers like Deathslinger that are stealthy but not undetectable and that also move slowly, but if it's a Deathslinger there's no reason for him not to just tunnel the ######### of out the object because his 1v1 is ridiculous... I digress

    5) If this perk has no downsides while being the strongest perk in the game, why are teams not performing better with OoO? Per the devs they're not. Is it so rarely used well that the solo queue adept Lauries are somehow erasing any positive impact it may have?

    6) If this perk is really so OP, what is stopping you from tunneling and camping the object? Most teams will not rush gens as they should and will instead feed you a lot of free pressure, but even if they don't, this will just teach them that this perk results in terrible games, and they will eventually stop running it.

No need to reply if you're done, I just think this is more of a theoretical problem than a real one. Even god SWFs without Object are pretty rare at rank 1. I don't think I have ever played against a four-man SWF that was using it anywhere near to its potential, as in, survivors have never been hard to find and unreasonably god-like in a chase in a match with an object.

Your points 2, 4 and 6 stem from a POV that you are facing bad Survivors. I don´t mind them using Object, either, since they fail to use it properly and are affected by the alleged downsides. Thank you for your well-thought contribution though, but it seems we´re looking at it from different angles and maybe have different experiences facing the strong object teams.

  • Sadly the only option you have is to tunnel the object out. This of course loses you the game. You lose if you ignore the object, too, since they will warn their teammates when you´re going for them long before you make it there, hence adding tremendously to the chase time. This of course applies only against good teams. Bad teams fail to use objects potential.

Since the developers fail to understand how object impacts games, you will have to suck it up and accept that against object you´re at a tremendous disadvantage.

If more people start to use it and you want to continue having fun playing, you will have to migrate to Killers that don´t suffer from object as much. Ghostface and Wraith are less affected by it due to being undetectable. Become a great Nurse or Spirit player so using Object is actually risky. Don´t play Trapper, Freddy or a Killer without mobility - if used properly, object destroys them all.

They can kind of choose whether they want to reveal themselves or not. If they want to spent the entire time they're on gens looking at the outside wall or something, sure, but what, are they going to stare at the outside wall the entire time while they're going for a hook save, traveling between gens, etc.? If they do that they're also depriving themselves of information along the way. You can't scan for pallets and windows in your vicinity. You can't look to see if you can the killer in the distance. You can't easily scan for totems. Realistically OoO users will see the killer a bit more often that the killer sees them, but if the killer is paying attention they'll get similar information out of it. OoO users are seriously handicapping themselves if they refuse to reveal their location to the killer, but that's often the right play for the situation.

At any rate, there are basically three situations for a four-man SWF with OoO:

    1) Someone in your squad knows where the killer is, either exactly (e.g. in a chase) or approximately (e.g. TR getting stronger, they beelined towards a specific distant survivor after hooking you). In this case, you are not getting much additional information from OoO. If you look at the killer in this situation, you're basically just giving the killer your location for free. In this situation, overall, OoO is WEAK at best.

    2) No one in your squad knows where the killer is. In this case, the killer probably doesn't know where anyone on your squad is either. You would benefit from scanning around to find them in this situation, but in doing so you're likely to also reveal your location. If you're the strongest looper on your team and/or your hook states are in good shape relative to your team's, this could be a really good thing for you. In that case you can either get free information or bait the killer into taking a chase they shouldn't. Still, it's not exactly broken unless the killer is a Trapper. Also, the second the killer generates pressure and the OoO user is forced to come help relieve it, the OoO user is on death hook, the survivors are losing to an anti-looping killer that can afford to take a chase with the OoO user and camp them out of the match, etc., the OoO user is not going to want the killer to see their aura. In this case they're in a lose-lose, because either they show their aura when they shouldn't or they're depriving themselves of lots of information about their surroundings. In this situation, overall, OoO is STRONG, drawbacks notwithstanding.

    3) The killer is a stealth killer, or has high mobility with an extremely strong 1v1 (like you mentioned). In this case OoO is just going to get you killed. In this situation, overall, OoO is ACTIVELY DETRIMENTAL.

Stealth Killers are not immune to Object to a degree. Their general position is still revealed by looking at the perk icon. Paired with SC it makes these Killers powerless.

If the Killer is in a chase and sees the Object on a gen across the map, this does not help them at all. It´s meaningless to know where the object is in a situation where you can´t do anything about it. While looking at their surroundings they should be able to make a decision of where to go, since they will always have a massive headstart on the Killer. This is not rocket science. It´s a huge discrepancy in information given since the team can massively benefit from it whereas the Killer gets basically nothing out of it.

They do get tremendously more information compared to not having object, since it removes any guessing from their part. Sure, after someone got hooked they might tell which direction the Killer is going, but seeing every step they take, every trap they place, every pallet they break and even being able to call out things like moonwalking at jungle gyms is insane.

It makes it for all but the select few strongest Killer tremendously more difficult to create pressure in the first place. Every Survivor will have 10-30 seconds heads up before a chase. It makes any move other than holding W and eating every pallet impossible. Maybe my perspective is skewed though since I play neither Nurse nor Spirit.

I think we won´t come to an agreement, my stance is that object has no meaningful downsides whatsoever whilst being the strongest perk in the game (in a SWF) by a mile and I respectfully decline your objections, they don´t convince me. Given of course we´re talking good survivors, potatos will always die from object.

  • I consider my self a Killer main but I play Survivor too. I prefer Killer for the challenge and intensity, if I want to chill I switch to Survivor. Quite nice to have that, actually.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1709779#Comment_1709779

I certainly have faced good SWFs with Object lol. Object just doesn't interfere much with the normal gameplay loop. Like, ask yourself this: How often does a four-man SWF on comms have no idea where the killer is? Rarely, right, unless they're facing a stealth killer? Even if you're a really good communicator with a lot of game knowledge, then, it's hard to add more information with OoO than you would already get from the four sets of eyes and ears in your squad. And, it comes with the downside of revealing your location to the killer, which is sometimes not a big drawback, especially if you're a strong looper, but which can certainly get you killed, especially late in games when some teammates might be dead and the map is generally less safe. OoO users can easily be put in a position where they're forced to look towards the edge of the map while trying to do their objectives lest they reveal themselves to the killer, which can ironically end up preventing them from figuring out where the killer is when they otherwise would have.

You´re overlooking the fact that the Object can choose whether they want to reveal themselves or not. It´s actually never a downside unless facing a killer that is super mobile and super lethal, Spirit and Nurse come to mind, since the object will always position themselves in the most advantageous location possible.

Your apparent denial of a significant change in gameplay loop tempts me to press x for doubt that you faced good teams using the perk, but to each their own.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1709739#Comment_1709739

Why? They still need to do generators, so you will still be able to find them by patrolling. Most of the time, the obsession will not be able to tell how close a killer is to their buddies' generator even while using OoO. Those squad mates also might not know where the obsession is, so they will have trouble explaining where they are relative to one another. They might be able to say "he's going towards this part of the map", but that's about it. That doesn't apply to all maps, but for many maps that's certainly the case. So, while in theory you could make it so that your squad is basically invisible and the killer is forced to chase you, in practice I have yet to play against a team that has managed to pull that off. I honestly don't find that OoO gives survivors working on gens much more warning than my terror radius already would, and this is even less of a problem when I'm using a mobile killer.

There are some specific situations where the OoO user can be a real pain in the butt, but most of the time it's not a big issue. Even if so, though, you can always just win your 1v1 with the obsession and camp them out of the game.

I typed a rather lengthy summary in feedback and suggestions about just that and honestly I can´t be bothered to repeat that in this thread. Check it out if you like to and give me your criticism, maybe I overlooked something.

Consider yourself lucky to never have faced a good SWF with Object. I envy you.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1709700#Comment_1709700

I don't think they're doing it just to BM you lol, they're probably just trying to bait you into a chase, which is why many people run OoO in the first place. They're confident in their ability to loop and they want to bait you into chasing them so they can make you waste your time. And, if you decide to ignore them, they just get to know where you are. So, for them it's a win win.

I usually just ignore them until I know they're in a weak tile or until they come out to go for a save or something. Then I make sure to chase them, down them, and, if they're actually good, probably proxy camp them. If they're not good I will still preferentially chase them, but I won't bother explicitly trying to remove them from the game.

So, while it's not healthy for the game imo, I also don't think it's that broken in terms of strength. If you want the OoO user out of the game, you can 100% make that happen. And, since they're probably in a SWF, camping is probably honestly going to be effective; they probably won't let that person die on the hook without a fight and will just end up feeding you free pressure.

Ignoring the Object is not a viable option if they´re in a SWF. Given they aren´t potatos and you don´t happen to play Nurse, Spirit or something comparable in power it WILL make you lose the game if you ignore them.

  • It´s Voorhees though

  • It´s straight up ignorant to claim this was a one sided problem. Good job contributing to the us vs them while adding nothing meaningful.

  • It took me about a month to get to rank 1 Killer the first time 2018. Haven´t reached Survivor rank 1 yet, I recently tried but had like 15 safety pips in a row at rank 4. Feelsbadman.

My xbox,,, is the issue. Typing on a keyboard is easy, but I play on xbox and my controller was CRYING lol

Too bad...I hope they will do something for the console players. It´s so unfair currently. Good luck next time!

  • It´s so nice to read about the positive stuff that happens. Pleasant as always, hope you can cheer someone up with these!

  • I agree that the perk only ever becomes problematic in a SWF. Most Killers have no way to avoid having their every move called out to the team by the Object(s). This is especially hard on Hag and Trapper. Their only power is rendered almost completely useless just by having Object(s) in the Survivor team. It puts them at a tremendous disadvantage and feels really unfair, and the Survivor team has no drawback other than Object taking up a perk slot.

So their only choice to try and turn the tides is to take the Object(s) out ASAP. This of course results in a higher death rate for the user.

This is anecdotal, but recently I´ve encountered numerous teams with 2 Object users to further push their advantage. If one Object is within the TR, the other will continue to watch the Killer and inform the team of their actions.

Against every other Killer that does not have Undetectable (which is kind of a counter, yet good players can still determine the Killers location since the perk icon will light up while looking in their direction - again, more problematic in a SWF since they can call out if and where the "undetectable" Killer has been spotted) it still has the benefit of being able to tell the teammate when to leave gens and which direction the Killer is coming from. The only Killers that are to a degree less affected by this are those that have high mobility and high lethality, for example Spirit or Nurse. The others will find themselves in a situation where every chase the Survivor will have a significant headstart to reach safe tiles. On big maps like Ormond it feels especially hopeless to even try going against it.

I´m wholeheartedly convinced that Object is the strongest perk in the game, hands down, but with a catch - it only ever reaches its current outrageous power level in a 3 or 4 man premade that has the experience to benefit to this degree from it. I don´t mind newer, inexperienced players running it, since they truly feel the alledged drawback of giving away their location. The better Survivors will make the Killers match hell.

  • I played against a Streamer and some of his friends tonight, using a Killer this particular Streamer mains. It was my first match of the day and I honestly didn´t do too hot. I only realised it was him after the match.

I played another couple matches and went to watch ours. He made a couple very positive comments during the game, it really helped brighten my DBD day since I´ve been so upset ever since the last Dev stream. A shame he didn´t stick around long enoug to read my appreciation message though, but it felt great :) Needless to say these guys weren´t ######### to rub the L in, 1Ks aren´t that bad with such good sports!

I mean, I plan to, because otherwise they'll believe that everything is fine and dandy with the perk, when it really, really isn't.

Sure, go ahead. It´s not like there have been countless complaints about it over the years already. You keep saying the feedback is listened to when our concerns are dismissed as a perception problem.

Maybe you´re the chosen one whose feedback is actually taken into consideration. I doubt it, though. Unless you make a significant difference in Ethans statistics all by yourself, you will get ignored like the rest of us. Matt, someone who´s been through a lot with our community and knows all the ins and outs, about the game and about us, was also quickly dismissed by him when he tried to advocate for our interests. But yeah, maybe you will make a difference while everyone else gets nothing but condescending dismissal of their issues. Sorry, but at this point, telling people to post in feedback and suggestions about this matter is borderline insulting.

You hit the nail on the head, but unfortunately BHVR had to go and release those stats that show Freddy's the most effective Killer, so you can expect billions of "FREDDY OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" threads from bad Survivors.

Also Survivors hate anything that makes looping even a little bit harder.

Wait did he actually say that about the stats? Doctor was right behind Freddy on both charts for the kill and pick rates. Does this mean that they're on BHVR's hit list for nerfs now even though those stats are basically meaningless?!

I agree with you. Unfortunately, reason, fun and potential in the hands of skilled players weren´t brought up by the balance dude. He takes the stats at face value to determine what´s going to get changed, even after MCote tried to intervene about that. You better be ready for Doctor to get looked at.

Just because he has a high kill rate doesn't exactly mean he is OP tho

Of course not. Sry, I forgot the /s .

I wish my Piggy would get such a "pass" on her add-ons, as they likely only could improve on most of em and make them useful instead of harmful.

Be careful what you wish for.

  • Freddy is OP. The recent statistics show him having a high kill rate, and this is everything that matters to the guy in charge. You can´t argue against his stats, reason will get you nowhere there.

I would be surprised if they nerfed Myers (except add-ons) ,even after billy and nurse.

Also that OoO answer lol, with mcote dropping that dev in it with "but is it fun to play against"

The answer being a) but my stats and b) I personally just try to ignore the person using it

Yes this was an outstanding display of competence and understanding of DBD. Bless our rank 20s, they´re so cute, but don´t let them make balance design. Oh wait....

And to a degree they kind of do that. You can take Insidious or the Third Seal. When I play Maniac Myers (any Myers that can get to Tier-3) I often take Hex: The Third Seal. The first thing I do is use my Tier-1 to close in and hit the OoO. This blinds them to my Aura even when I Tier up. I generally have found the other Survivors by use of their Spotter. They can spend their time going after my Hexes (and they do) but I spend that time snowballing and killing them all. And if I'm worried about the OoO I can tunnel them out right then and there.

I don't think it is too far-fetched to think that there won't be more Perks or Add-on(s) that will do the same.

I envy you. Not only for seemingly not facing multi object teams, but also those that are incapable of noticing when the perk icon lights up to tell them where you are. I´ll never run Insidious or HTTS. They are so bad I don´t even know where to start.

Sorry, you´re obviously flailing for a straw of hope to hold onto but I´m just too pissed right now to do your efforts justice.
