I had a match just before with a Ghostface who slug everyone wait till someone come and slug the person as well. He also had Ultimate Weapon with.
And sry to say it to all the killer who do not want to hear it but NO it is not the fault of the survivors when a killer slug. I mean when you have a killer which slug and camp there till he got all 4 down, what are you supposed to do? When three are already slugged? Make 5 gens all alone and hope the killer do not search for you after the first one is done? Killers who seriously say the survivors made the situation that is why the killer slug everyone are a real joke. Sry if that sounds to harsh but it is just a joke. I mean slugging is not even a real game mechanic, there is no advice anywhere in the game that slugging is a "game mechanic" it is just a result of another used game mechanic which is misused a lot. Down a survivor is a game mechanic which is nessessary in this game yes, BUT SLUGGING IS NOT! And no where in any How to play the game tutorials it is mentioned as a "game mechanic" to slug. It just is not. And it is also never the fault of the survivors because they do not have any influence in the killers minds.
My solution for slugging. Put a anti slug bar in. Make it like that.
- The first survivor which is downed just got the bar but it does not fill as long as the killer is near or after a short amount of time.
- After the second got slugged the bar of the first fills faster by x%
- As soon as the third survivor got slugged the bar of the first one fills even faster and the bar of the second one like x% of the first one by the time the second got slugged.
- After four people got slugged the first slugged person can lift up himself no matter how far his bar was at this time. He got condition and his aura is hidden for a few seconds. And he can pick up other survivors no matter how far they are recovered.
I know it sounds unfair but to be honest everyone who thing it is unfair is for sure someone who like to slug. Also it is just to make it more fair for the survivors if they face slugging killers so if you are not a slugger than why do you even care?
This game currently do nothing to prevent this behaviour because the killers always say it is a "game mechanic" which it is not it is just a result of a real game mechanic which is misused so hard nowadays that like 9/10 games are like that or with tunneling etc.
Devs pls focus on that issue. Not to forget that because you changed the way killers get their adept trophies most just do it because of that. What is the point to just have a 4k when the way you got it is mostly against the game rules since take the game hostage for your own advantage is a report reason?
Oh and to anyone who come up with "yea then just use x perk" NO why do I have to take certain perks with to evade a toxic gamestyle which you as killer can use without any consequences or perks as well? If we as survivors have to take a certain perkbuild with only to counterplay that why do we need the other perks in the game then? Because most killers play like that now, and if we have to deal with that by using certain perks we basically can delete all the other perks out of the game cause you as killer refuse to face the problem you created. Because in my round we had a survivor which just recovered and pick herself up with the perk of Bill and instantly was downed again so all these perks we "have" to take with to "counter" this playstyles do not even help cause killer do not care bout play normal anymore. Why should they? The developers had change this game to a degree that the killer can just do nothing than slug the whole game and been rewarded for that with a win and a adept trophy for free. Sry but how do you as game developers want to have a game so hard splitted in the game experience and still got more splitted by killer who still do not have enough changes in their favor?

Not sure why you got so triggered to go on a huge rant but the gameplay pattern in DBD is not chase > hook and repeat, sometimes a slug can turn the pressure over to the Killer's favor, knowing when to do so is actually part of Killer macroplay. If I down a Survivor in the open and I know someone else is lurking about with a flashlight, I'm not obligated to pick up the downed Survivor. Similarly if a Survivor leads me away from the gens and comp corner, I'm not obliged to hook them either and lose a gen as well.
To you, your ideal of a "good killer" is someone who plays with certain self imposed rules, if you meet players like that, good for you. I'm not obliged to play by your rulebook. The devs has a set of rules and I play by that because I agreed to those rules when I loaded in a lobby, not rules another player made up. I don't have to prove that I'm a "good killer" to you nor do I see any benefit in doing so.Instead of directing your anger at other players, perhaps you should channel your energy to the devs. They are the game masters and have the power to effect change, if they share the view that slugging is "unhealthy", they can make it a bannable offense and I will gladly oblige by their rules.
Seems you get me wrong I do not say that you can not go after a survivor who try to flashlight save another survivor, when he is really close and you know he is there it is nothing wrong in try to get him. But when you let the one you downed lie the whole time, not to avoid a flashlight, but because you are more like you want anyone else to that is just bad.
Maybe you should think next time what I mean with that. Slugging is not when you down a survivor and go after another one you just saw and try to get him to, but it become slugging when you just leave him till you get the other one as well NO MATTER how long that will last. You get me here?
So what you mentioned is a decent way to avoid being flashed by someone, what is a understandable way to play and not the problem at all.

There is nothing "high ranked" about a background player save. Flashlight/flashbang saves were made baby mode with the removal of locker saves as well. There is nothing to train or learn if they have background player you're just hoping for them to mess up. You shouldn't have to make builds around denying a lose lose situation because someone across the map gets there with 5s 200% SB.
Clearly you never played it before. It is not easy to really time it with the flashbang. Most people I saw throwing the flashbang way to soon or way to late. I never saw anyone really do it good. Or maybe one person out of over 100 matches. So IT IS A HIGH RANKED THING. Cause when I meet survivors who really can use the flashbang very good EVERY TIME they are most of the times not only on a high prestige but also so good that they for sure are in high MMR.
-
Yea but did you not get why it is annoying? When you face such survivors it maybe is bad for you when it happens all the time, but that is the game. Should they add that you will face only once a person with that perks in in 10 matches? It makes just no sense. I mean how often did I read here in the forum that you have to take some perks with because it is a meta build. Maybe it is yea but not all want to do that. Like not all want to take lightborn with, yet it is part of the game to save people with flashlights or flashbangs. But since it is pretty rare, I never really see anyone use flashbangs and even flashlights are most of the times a mess.
so I have to say, still these survivors who run these perks are not so often as it would need a fix on a perk. (Exception of course if it really can blind you through walls and so on.)
And I think even you have to admit that most of these "changes" which are wanted are only because of the refuse of try to counterplay it properly. It is way to often that I see that they demand changes because they can not keep up anymore. And all the changes made will automatically made the game more unfun

You seem to ignore that there is currently a glitch, that makes this much stronger than it should be. I specifically asked for counterplay and your answer was that it's fine because not many people can do it.
If that argument actually worked, than we could justify Huntress instantly killing survivors as long as she threw the hatchet more than 30 metres far. Only very few players can actually hit these but somehow I reckon it would still be wrong to implement this.
This would also apply to Omega Blink Nurse. Or Starstruck Nurse on Midwich. Why did we nerf her again? Ahhh, yes. Counterplay. Or the lack of which for that matter.
It doesn't matter how good you are, there should always be the possibility for someone to play better. Otherwise you can become completely unbeatable. Does that sound fair to you? That's why counterplay is important. If staring at a wall actually worked, I'd be mostly fine with flashbangs (although sound occlusion for flashbangs should be fixed as well).
Also, cool it with the us vs. them, buddy. You sound like I slapped your firstborn. It's not that deep and it makes it seem like you play survivor only, which means, you don't know the full the picture. I play more killer than survivor but when I see an issue with killers or killer perks, I want it to be fixed too. Like for example Knock Out. I consider this one of the most unhealthy perks in the game. It completely destroys solo survivors and it promotes the most disgusting play style (hardcore slugging until all 4 are down at the same time). But it's 1 of the 2 counters to this issue, so we can't really rework it either, can we?
I am willing to ignore the thinly veiled passive aggressiveness in that last 3rd as long as you cool it with the attitude. I'm pretty sure this is against forum rules too. The problem with a flashbang save is not that you will never down that person again. It's that all the progress you made in the last 45 seconds (chase time the devs balance for) is negated. When you already play the role that has less time. This is undisputable. The game is balanced around slowdown perks for killers because it is completely unrealistic to win chases quicker than the gens pop.
Coming back to your point; you get blinded and stunned, now the survivor with Background Player is gone (they still have time left to get out of there) and the other has made enough distance to last 20 seconds more at the very least. If that happens once per game, who cares. You can still beat that, if you play good enough. What if this happens multiple times? Or what if there is even a thread for this to happen multiple times? Then you need to counter it. Even if you had 4 × Pop Goes The Weasel, it wouldn't matter. Because it doesn't work without a hook. That's how strong a flashlight save is.
Now, we're back to the same question: How do you counter this? Lightborn? Solid. Now, I need to equip Lightborn every single game? Really? We already had such a situation with BT and it was included into the survivor's base kit for that exact reason. Base kit Lightborn however would remove the entire blind mechanic, which is not a good idea. So that's not an option. Now the killer has 3 perks and Lightborn just so that they can counter blinds. Then the pickrate of flashbangs will go down, which makes the perk useless again but the killer still can't use something else because there is a chance that it's in the game and without Lightborn the game can be lost in the lobby already. This is the same as with tunneling, which many of us have argued needs to be addressed on a base kit level again.
I have played the game for long enough to see both extremes. Times when the game was horrible for survivors and times when the game was horrible for killers. If you want an example, just ask. So my goal is not to remove fun or strength from the survivor role but to make this whole thing fair. Which currently it isn't. I prefer my queue times low, so if you don't believe me that I play survivor enough to care about the role, then you can still believe, I do not want to wait 20+ minutes for a game. Btw, this had already happened for survivor queue times in 2021. So this is not even an overexaggeration.

All fine. No worries. Do not feel spoken to if you are not like that. Also yes I did not know there is a issue with the flashbangs itself, which cause that problem you mention. I am the least person who would say that a real issue should not be fixed.
All I say is to stop complaining about things which are not currently glitchy or so, but learn to counterplay it in actually become better. Of course I do not say become better when the issue you face is a real problem cause of some Updates which has been made which overpower a certain perk to a point where you can do nothing against it.
Since the person who start the post here did not mention ANY glitch or stuff. The only reason this post was made was because he face often times people who use it. If there is a issue causing from the system itself it is a whole different story. But I saw it way to often that it all is just excuses in the end now.
So yea I will calm but also try to think how a post like this look like when first the only issue is that there are survivors he can not keep up to without mentioning any real glitch been used, and now you come with a glitch to been acknowledged. I fully agree that glitches or certain issues which become to overpowered will be worked on to get it done right, but I do not agree some complains only cause most killers who can not keep up anymore. Hope that is somewhat clear.
Anyway I also do not talk to you in person I keep it more general. I just want that there is a change in mindset for most killers. Cause why should the devs change everything in their favor when they do not even play anywhere fair or even normal anymore? Like the most killers play like absolut … and still want everything to go their way?

I see two flashlights so not picking up was probably the best idea.
That aside though, in my eyes this scenario is just the survivor side equivalent of camping a hook in endgame to secure a kill…
I would strongly disagree, while sure camping a hook is bad yea that is still a lose for a killer, while on the other hand helping a survivor to escape will be a win for that specific survivor. Also think about that what you want you basically say you want that you can disturb the healing of a downed survivor. That will be misused on the other hand as well like when you slug someone someone want to pick him up and you just need to pick him up yourself and all is over.
Survivors need to work as a time and while it sure is annoying to face that it is a way to help a survivor when the killer let them do it. Why should it be changed when it already would most likely would not give you a win? I mean even if you would have down all of them there by the time you would bring away the one survivor the others would leave. So you would only have just one overall. Only if you would have pick them up all an place them back in the map so you have more time but would that not be unfair again? Like a exploit you use to get more than just one?
I can understand that you are frustrated here, but pls try to think more of what you could have done better in that situation okay? And not like OH THEY NEED TO CHANGE THAT.

This has nothing to do with "strong survivors". You could make a similar argument for range + recharge (aka Omega Blink) Nurse. Yes, they play good. But does that rectify a complete lack of counterplay? I don't think so. Because that would imply, that once they reach a certain level, they have earned the right to always win no matter how good their opponent.
The problem with flashbangs is that they have literally no counterplay due to a glitch and Background Player working the way it currently does. You can be on the other half of the map and still plant the flashbang under the killers feet during their animation. Staring at a wall does not work against this either because survivors can glitch themselves into the killer during the pick up animation and plant the flashbang.
I assume you didn't know about this because you're saying that killers should "git gud", when against this there are only 2 possible counters. Either you slug them ("dirty killer tactic") or you use Lightborn, which most survivors don't really like either because it makes their items and sometimes perks completely useless. Basically, the only 2 possible counters that I know off, will not be appreciated.
In the off chance you did actually know about the glitch, I would really like to know, how you propose op or any other killer player counter this.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3697935#Comment_3697935
So it's fine for survivors to glitch themselves into the killer during the pick up animation and plant a flashbang under their feet with 0 counterplay? Nah. That doesn't sound right. The only counterplay you have against flashbangs (facing a wall) doesn't work against this. So it is literally uncounterable without Lightborn and all because of an exploit.
Have you played as or against PTB Twins? Because they have just as much counterplay. For some reason I don't think any of us want that to go to live though.
No you should rethink while it is a perk we talking about which is not even that good as you stated it here.
Maybe this is a strong combination yes, but than let me ask you because of that do we as survivors will get any counter stuff for the insanely overpowered perks killers have? NO because it is not only perks which are important but also TO GET GOOD YES. I can tell you that I almost never see survivors which play flashlight and background player, because it is not just like as soon as you take it with you will automatically be capable of use it perfect. That is a combination only taken by these who are really good with it and played it so much to GET GOOD WITH IT. And now you guys come and cry about how unfair it is that there is no counter for that, well guess what as there are for almost all killer perks as well. So tell me why it should AGAIN changed because you killers who can not become good only when the game has to change again for your advantage? This game is not all about you killers and time has come that you and all the others learn that. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES WHO CARE. And you have lightborn yea maybe you will have it in and can not take another perk with you BUT SURPRISE we survivors can not take more than 4 with us as well. And the Flashbang is not even that good when you consider. First you have to time it correctly if not the flashbang is useless. And most survivors who are good with it learned to use it right. How is it the problem of the survivor now, that you are to bad in this game to avoid it? Tell me? How? Right it is not. When you are not able to outplay it with lightborn take lightborn with if you are not happy with it it is okay then take it out and try to find a way to avoid it. And to be honest what even is the problem? Yea maybe the person you have on your should is free wow the short time blind will not take you the ability to run after him again. I mean seriously you killers have it so ridiculous easy in this game, but as soon as you face really pro survivors which destroy you all has to be changed so you feel happy again? You really do not get how selfish and egoistic that is?
-
This whole discussion is pointless really. I mean when you already take lightborn with you are clearly the one who is not able to learn how to play against it without lightborn. Sry. Throwing a flashbang is not that easy.
And do you want it so the survivors have just more things taken away only cause YOU have problems with survivors who flash you? Like all the other killers do which are refuse to learn to acutally prevent it on their own? I mean really think about practise to outplay it and as soon as you have no issue with that whatsoever you will see how much of a non really problem it is you now complain about.
See I get it when you have trouble with it now, but look what it is on the survivor side we have so little things we can do as soon as you as a killer pick up a survivor, also it is not like that happen in every single game sry. I would say it is not even 50% that people take the grenade with. And most of the times almost 100% when a survivor manage to flash you with it it sure is a higher ranked survivor, which is not the majority of players, and yet you want to have a change only cause you have trouble with it? Especially when you already take a perk with for it? Sure it is a wasted slot for your perks, but is your only answer to it to want it to be changed so you have it even easier? Or do you maybe can consider to train to play against it to overcome your weakness there so you can take out lightborn? I know it can be frustrating, but when you actually try to train it it will be much more rewarding than have the DEVS again change something only cause you did not even think of overcome this weakness on your own.
Seriously would more killer think about actually train and learn instead of cry and complain, because they face more and more the high ranked survivors which destroy them the game would be much more chill. But because most killers in high rank are there not because there are acutally good but they are bad and got points to high rank for free (When got 4K through dirty playstyle or because survivors killed themselves because of toxic behaviour) Sry to say it like that but yea many killers in high ranked did not really earned that rank, they got it as a gift, while you as a survivor only can reach that through actual skill, because you need to escape out of the gate to raise your rank as a survivor which is pretty tough and only the really good survivors will do that more often to reach high rank, so when you face them, because you maybe reached a higher rank you will naturally have no chance since the way you came there and they got there is a whole different story. (That is not especially you here, but all killers who cry about this hardcore survivors)
-
And for the killer in the Chapter it will be Crowley or so XD one of the more iconic villains in the show.
GOD XD
-
Not to forget, that as soon as this change would be made, all the killers just would slug someone after the person got unhooked to deactivate DS to tunnel him again. So this change would again been misused in the most disgusting way for sure.
-
@Reinami said:
This solves the problem i mentioned in my other thread of flashlight saves and pallet saves being something that don't deactivate DS. Since its a bit hard to figure out what the constitutes, and we do a simple:
"When another survivor enters the dying state, DS deactivates"
Because if another survivor is downed, you aren't being tunneled.
Do that, and i'll say you can buff DS to any stun amount you want, hell make it a 10 second stun at that point for all i care.
Sry but what the hell? Why should they change it? It already does not make that big of a difference if the killer is good. It is so weird how they have to change every helpful perk the survivors still got only cause these killers who have trouble with it.
I learned a lot about MMR now and found out that most of the times killers have to face survivors who have that with are not there because they are actually very good killer but because they get a high MMR because the majority of survivors does not have any patience anymore and play with bad killers so they kill themselves. Which ultimatively raise the MMR of most killers so they come to face high rank survivors which acutally got there because they ARE good. So NO they should stop to change every perk only cause killers who come in high MMR cry that they wont get anyone anymore. That shows perfect how many killers in high MMR did not actually get there cause they are bloody good killers but because they got there cause survivors are done with this stuff.
And if not the best saying there will be "get good" I do not know what is not the best to say here.
Stop come out and wanting all perks to be changed but learn FINALLY to deal with perks which make the game a challenge for you like all the survivors have cause of the killers who complained so loud the devs change everything for them. It would be the same if I would cry about every perk out there which I do not like. Which I do not do. Sure I say some are very op yea and should need an adjustment, but that only because it was already changed to that because all the killers who noticed they now face survivors who actually DO OUTPLAY them and they can not keep up with that so the devs need to change it for them
To be honest the most logical change which devs should consider is making a ranked mode. A mode were you get pips and so on and a unranked mode, were you just play. It is annoying to talk to people who always want change every perk left which are maybe helpful for survivors only cause they are not able to keep up with that. And yes all killers who complains about perks like that are not that good as it seems. Cause if you would been good you did not need to complain, and I am sure the killers who acutally earned their high MMR through skill and not through survivors who killed themselves or toxic playstyles, do not even write any complains since they do not need to.
-
I still think they will try how the resonance of this mode will be. Sure it is a joke event and yeah but still the developers thought about this mode in the survey already and like the lights out mode it is also a bit of a test to see how the reaction in the game and here in the forum will be.
That is why I want them to know that I see lots of potential if some adjustments will be done to it. It can be a real fun mode for DBD and I would like to have a mode like that which is much more developed and so on.
I think we will get more of such events which are about these modes they asked about in the survey back then. They started with these which are easier to make with the current data and so on.

3 things I want to see changed.
1 - triple the amount of bloodpoints earned per event. I don't mean an end game modifier either. I mean for each individual event that happens in the game, triple the amount normally received. (if a hit normally gives 300 bloodpoints, give 900 instead). The entire match is really short. Only 3 gens need to be completed and each down is a kill. This results in games with pathetic amount of bloodpoints earned.
2 - adjust the results of what gives a pip. I played 2 games as killer today and got -1 pip each game. First game I got one kill and second game I got 2. I'm not saying that was an amazing result but I don't feel that I did abysmal either. I have a feeling that even if I got 4 kills, I'd be lucky to break even. You simply cannot use the normal event scoring method here. No hooks means no sacrifices. Each down equals a death and only requiring 3 gens be completed means short games regardless of outcome.
3 - let us use skins. What difference does it make?
Yea you are right these should absolutley been changed should this event ever will be a game mode.
And to the 3. thing you mentioned, not only that we can use skins but also the other chars which we can not use there or? And same goes for killer. Imagine a extremly big Nemesis run through the map XD

I remember when LoL added URF as a joke mode for April Fools. The community loved the event, and Riot kept trying to "balance" a joke mode and bring it back and it only made the mode worse imo.
I know it is for the april fools day. Yet this mode was also in the survey a few month ago. Do not know if you ever made the survey, but this mode with tiny survivors and a giant killer was a game mode they asked about in the survey as the lights out mode was as well. Sure they use this april fools day for a bit fun, yet they still wanna see if it will be accepted and people talk about it or not.
If you ask me the real april fools day trick which was in that here is that you guys do not take it seriously XD
Why do you even cry about my suggestions to make this mode more fun and maybe to a working mode for the future? If you only come here to complain why I take it serious, WHY DO YOU NOT? If you can not give some creative input or come with some nice ideas as well, it is no use to even write anything please. I do not need some guys here who just do not want to talk about the potential that mode could have but talk with these WHO HAS OWN CREATIVE IDEAS to that mode.
Feel free to think about own ideas how that mode would have been more fun, but if not just keep quiet and go somewhere else please.

Sorry to say, but if you really see Lightborn that often, that means that you are at low MMR (have you just started playing the game? Serious question).
Lightborn is a beginner perk, useful when you don't know how to deal with flashlights and "funny" squads (as it seems mods don't like the word used by the community), but the moment you learn that there are things you can do to prevent getting blinded, there are better uses for that perk slot. Doesn't need any nerf.
I mean all of you killer crawl out to complain how hard the game is yet it is EXTREMLY easy as a killer to win. IT JUST IS, do not try to say otherwise because it is nonsense.
Grab a killer, play it exclusively for a couple of weeks, and get to a higher MMR. When you start getting matchmaked against survivors that coordinate like a SWAT team and 2-3 gens pop up before you can do your first hook, you will see.
Why should I do that? I am no hardcore player like the majority of the game is not. And that is ALWAYS the problem when it comes to that discussion. You guys only view from the high MMR viewpoint you do not even care about the majority of the players who are not in that MMR stuff. And yet your complains are the ones who are more important? Why? Cause you are high MMR and are superior?
It is always that. You think only bout how it is for you in that very specific situation where are not so much more players. Cause say what you want, the majority just is not in that MMR where you are and do not really care bout that they just want to have fun, but because you high MMR guys just only every care about how it is when you are high MMR it is no wonder you do not care how it is for the others. So the big deal here would be to change this MMR stuff to a own rubric in the game. Something which can be chosen at will, means there will be a matchmaking for the casual players and one for you hardcore gamers with your very special high MMR and in this high MMR stuff you can have all the buffs you want as a killer go for it I do not care. But why do the majority of players or the new players have always to deal with these stuff only because you MAYBE can meet a high MMR survivr or a whole team, why do the rest of the players who just want to enjoy the game always have to say what they have an issue with and been downtalked by guys like you only because your game is SOOOO hard for you? Why?
I do not need to hardcore gaming the game for that when the better option would be that all you hardcore high MMR addicted killers try to relax a bit. It is just not normal that all have to go like you wish only you have sometimes so extrem hard survivors. Oh and let me guess you play always like that. I also would assume, maybe I am wrong, but for sure you do tunneling, slugging and maybe even camp right? Be honest. Cause high MMR made you to do that right? Ridiculous if I am right
-
This whole discussion is a farce. Some just wont read what you have to say at all. Hear me out if you are to lazy to read a complaint, you are to lazy to understand it. So just do not write anything at all it will not help
-
Sry but lightborn is just a senseless perk. I mean you all killers complain now, that he said he want it to be changed when adrenaline will be changed too. And you all come out and say yea but this perk is not used as much as adrenaline is, yet it negates 100% the effect of flashlights, something what a killer can easily overcome by just look down or up or turn away.
Lightborn is a bad perk and it is way more used than you guys say. I saw it in the past days very often, especially in the matches where one or two survivors take a flashlight with. Most of the times killers just change it out JUST BECAUSE they see that there will be flashlights. Also since the effect that you can not be flashed by it already start at level 1 of that perk makes it sure a good pick for a perk that need to be changed. You can take it with you on level one and do not even need to get it to level 3 because it works still in the same way.
What should be changed, now that you can not get unhurt from a hook after the last gen is made, that camping in the end game also will fill the campermeter. I mean all of you killer crawl out to complain how hard the game is yet it is EXTREMLY easy as a killer to win. IT JUST IS, do not try to say otherwise because it is nonsense. Killers have a wallhack to nearly everything. They move much faster than any survivor without ever become slower after a few seconds. Wiggleing also is useless since the killer is not stunned long enough to lose the survivor after that. All in all the game is much more give advantage to killers than it does to survivors.
And again any critic which is made will be downtalked by the killer mains, who already got the very soft treatment so they can have no trouble AND YET they still use toxic "game mechanics" like tunneling, camping and slugging.
Go on with that stuff and you will be experience much more survivors who just kill themselves on hook or dc. Because it is no fun to play against killers who compansate the lack of skill with using toxic playstyles and still are not satisfied.
I met killers who play very good and with much skill and that is always nice and can go either him or we as survivors. But in these cases where it is a killer which just has no skill it is ALWAYS a toxic match then. It is no fun and I do not get what a killer can enjoy in smash down the survivors play like he is the only person who cares in that game and then will not be outcalled or critisized for that behaviour?
You killermains who KNOW that you are meant, should try to learn to be not hella selfish and egoistic and that this community is not here to obey to your own desires in that game. It would be just good if you just start to rethink your behaviour! Instead of wanting the Devs to make the game so easy for you that you start in a round with all 4 survivors already on the hook. THIS WORLD IS NOT ONLY ABOUT YOU. And it would help that you understand, that every buff the killers get and every nerf the survivors get are highly inequal to each other. Not to forget that the survivors do NOT get really good buffs at all.

Don't condescend me. WHAT is the actual issue with them using locker-based perks? What makes that unhealthy? Yes, they NEED to reload at lockers. Yes, the perk activates at lockers when they reload. WHY is that an issue?
Because other than killers who do not need to do that the chance is higher these killers tend not to use it in a extrem overdose. Like when they hunt, they most likely would not just look in the locker because they hunt which makes the whole game more fair. When Trickster or Huntress do hunt they use their knives or axes and when they are empty and they decide to get some refill the survivor, which had then the time to maybe escape or hide while the killer stop hunting, will not be safe because of ultimate weapon. It makes and already overpowered killer much more overpowered. And YES they are overpowered, especially after the update.
It is just not good, cause other killers need to think to look in lockers on purpose to do that and tend more to not do it so often, like these two does. Since they need to look in the lockers it is just to extrem. Do you understand me here? It is the NEED against the THINK. While other killers have to think about it and when to do it, the other both just do it, because they need to. Which made the whole perk here just to heavily extrem. Since in that way they do not have to care to use it wisely because they just spam it on every refill, while the ultimate weapon can be triggered.

Dude, read the patch notes,
Duration of ultimate weapon will be cut by half, from 30 seconds to 15 and the cool down goes from 30 to 60 seconds at best.
Meaning, 75% of the time looking into locker will do nothing but be a reload for both killers.
The difference in efficiency of the perk for those two killers and the rest will be negligible and comparable to other killer/perk synergies.
Yea all fine. The change sound at least much better to be honest. We will see how it works out. I am curious about that. My complaint also is more about the ultimate weapon before it was changed now.

@arcaneGospel said:
Yeah, is there something intrinsically wrong with smartly choosing a perk that makes it so instead of just disrupting those killers' pressure, reloading also lets you find survivors easier? Should Nemesis not benefit from perks like Thwack and Game Afoot with his tentacle break, should Unknown not get to use Nowhere to Hide with his hallucination teleport?
Still a difference on the thing with the Unknown. Since he is not in NEED to kick the gens. Is it really that hard to understand? The Huntress and Trickster NEED to look into lockers.

Does this mean skill check perks like merciless storm shouldn't work on doctor
What has that anything to do with my complaint? I just said that this perk for a killer who NEED to look in lockers should not have the possibility to take ultimate weapon with. The doctor on the other hand is not much more in a big advantage with merciless storm than without. Since it will only show where it is failed. He can not trigger it because he work like that, like Huntress or Trickster does. And merciless storm itself is not that big of a deal to be honest, since it let you not cry or stuff really. It is just not to compare.
There is a big difference to killers which ability need to be refilled by looking in lockers so just take that perk with what EVERY time triggers when he refill. Because killers without that tend do have longer periods between the looks into any lockers, when they just hunt or anything, they do not need to refill, so they need to stop hunt, so the survivor maybe has the chance to hide, because as soon as they are refilled they will find the survivor anyway. It is a whole different story and should be prevented for these killers who need to look in lockers more often.

Ultimate Weapon is being changed so survivors won't scream, instead it'll reveal your aura. The cooldown has also been increased, so in a weird way, this is pretty much exactly what you're asking for.
Sounds like a good change, yet still the both will profit from that way to much. Imagine it will be like they can see every survivor all the time more or less, since they only have to look in lockers what they have to. Other killers just look in the lockers by occasion, while these two need to look into them.
So sure it will be a better change, yet for these killers it should be blocked.
Overall this perk need to be changed to just a few seconds after he looked in the locker and that he only can see people near the locker. Not that his radius will reveal them all no matter where he goes. I really hope it will be good, but I see that this will be highly misused

Whenever killers complain about adrenaline, I often hear survivors often say to bring NoEd/ Terminus to counter it.
So I say If tunneling and slugging is such a big problem why not bring OTR/ Unbreak or other perks to Counter it? I bring OTR every game because how insanely strong it is. Allowing you to hide when injured/ deny aura reads and prevent tunneling. Should we have to bring perks to counter other popular perks?
I have seen a surge of decisive strikes during this event and funnily enough everyone is using it very aggressively by running straight at me across the map after being unhooked. Which I don’t have a problem with but I will say if it goes back to a 5 second stun I’ll probably just slug aggressive survivors.
Because "some" survivors are not all survivors. Sure some will come with that when killers complain about adrenaline, but is that the reason to behave in the same way towards survivors which justifiably complain towards tunneling and slugging? Are you for real now? One is a perk which can help against another perk, the other is to extra use perks for these killers who just wont play in a normal or fair way only to have at least a bit of a chance against that "game mechanics"
No matter what, to say it is the same, when in the one situation there is a good way to work against a certain perk, while in the other you have to bring EXTRA perks for these killers who just can not play any good.
I think it is pretty much annoying to extra build a certain perkbuild only these killers misuse "game mechanics" to take over the whole match only in their favor. If your answer to this behaviour is, that every survivor NEED to bring these perks, than why should the game keep all the other perks then? If you have to deal with this dirty stuff then just bring these or that perk, and forget about the playstyle you want to play, since nowadays good killers are so rare you pretty much can throw any other perks other than these you mentioned right in the trash. Cause why the hell play how you wanna play, when all you need to do is play with the anti tunnel, camp, slug perks ALL THE TIME CAUSE ALL THE KILLERS OUT THERE ARE SO SOFTSKINNED THEY JUST CAN NOT PLAY WITHOUT PLAYING HIGHLY UNFAIR, CAUSE THEY COULD LOSE OH MY GOOOOD!
Hope I can make my point clear. Sure there are perks which can help, but should the killers just try to play fair and normal? Why have I been forced to bring a certain perkbuild cause of all the killers which just can behave like the whole game is only for them?
And the whole game is about to use perks to outplay perks. THAT IS WHAT THE GAME IS ABOUT. But the game is not about use perks to outplay "game mechanics" which are toxic and bad and in almost every case destroy the whole game. These so called "game mechanics" (tunneling, camping, slugging etc.) are in the game yes, but yet to use them make you not a good killer, it make you a lazy one which misuse these "game mechanics" cause of selfish means and selfisch means ALONE! So why should we now debate about how to prevent that with any perk build, while the better discussion would be, HOW DO WE MAKE THE KILLERS REFLECT? I mean it IS a toxic playstyle period!

Sometimes I wonder how this perk still exists. Getting 4 kills after 5 generators are completed when you only had one, a single hook beforehand, is not healthy. Most times, it encourages toxic behavior. If you get wrecked by survivors in a game, you can learn from it, and your mmr should reflect it and put you in a match that is more fair that you can use to improve, but (sometimes) with NOED, these killers use it to win and increase their mmr, and as they move up, the perk becomes the only thing they use to win. They become dependent on it, and it isn't fun. It isn't healthy.
NOED encourages toxic gameplay in endgame because "I downed all of the survivors who gen-rushed me and looped me well." It affects matchmaking more than just the killer's side, too. Those survivors that the killer wrecked with NOED, they're going to be going against killers with lower mmr, as well as teammates with lower mmr, creating a matchmaking hell for other survivors and killers. Of course, this is mainly talking about survivors who Solo Queue, who aren't as coordinated and will have a lot more trouble dealing with a surprise NOED than a swf.
I'm going to say it once again, as it's been said many, many, many times before. NOED is a crutch, and the little nerf it received, has not fixed its issues.
I feel you, but I have to say I found a way, to make all the NOED Killers regret the decision to only rely on their NOED. I for myself are a pretty good totem destroyer survivor. I have so often now shown these NOED killers that I am done with their annoying NOED.
By the time where 3 gens still are left I almost every round have all 5 totems destroyed. No NOED will activate in the end. And so many times the killers only rely on that perk I am glad I found my perfect playstyle to help my team. Sure in the first 2 gens I am maybe not helping on gens, but I stop these NOED Killers from play around and think, all fine I run after that one survivor for 5 gens, cause I have NOED anyways.
NOED is really strong yeah, BUT when you have a totem destroyer in your lobby NOED is a waste of a perkspot, cause all 5 totems are long gone before it will ever activate.

Xenomorph can be really op but there are some others which are much more op. Since the tail is a really small area to hit with and you can miss pretty easily when a survivor knows how to evade. But yea Xenomorph is amongst some of the stronger killers in game that is true.

The fourms should be split into survivour main and killer main so killers can't committing on survivour affairs killer will always cry because their game are usually in their favour so go's forbid they not be
Either split the fourm or, what I would think will be better, give an opportunity to choose which role you as forum member has in the game. Like you can choose from survivor main or killer main. In that way it is better to distinguish these who almost only play killer and these who almost only play survivor to see which part of them come and talk down the most. Also it makes it easier to see which complaints will be made by each party.
I just do see it a lot that these killer mains, I think they are killer mains, every time talk down the real issues because they do want the game pretty easy for themselves. Not even waste a single second thinking about how, when it becomes easier and easier for the killers, it inevitable becomes more and more harder for the survivors. So many things that need to be changed to make it a more fair game, but yet it will always the killers who get the more advantage changes. The changes for survivors are little and to be honest to not even help at all. Since all these "changes" who should help us as surivors already are outplayed by the killers.
Best example is the thing with the adept trophies. Killers do not have to play good anymore, they just need to get full on dirty mode (Slugging, camping and so on) and hook all 4 so they get their trophy. This change was made, because majority complaint how unfair it is that survivors just need to escape with their three perks. And here again it was unlogic. Because as a survivor you sure has to escape, but till you CAN escape it is pretty hard, since you have 3 perks only which you maybe not even can use any efficent. Need to make 5 gens and open the gates WHICH ALL are seen by the killer. Sure the killer also has only his three perks in, yet he can decide of play it still fair for the survivors or just go full on dirty to make it an easy trophy. Meanwhile the survivor still need to do all 5 gens no matter if he decide to play "fair" or "unfair" since a survivor do not really have any possibilites to play unfair at all, since no survivor can do a gen faster than the gen can be made. It is not like he can just open the gate and run out at 5 gens already, like the killer can go all out dirty and slug everyone in the first 3-5 minutes. Since the change killers do not earn their trophy anymore they just get it for free, because they are not in need to really play the game "like it should be" means hunt properly do not use dirty game styles (Tunneling, camping, slugging, proxy etc.) just play as the game intended it. The most common argument is that these stuff are game mechanics. And yea they maybe are, but yet they are only game mechancis because if they would be blocked the whole game would not work anymore. These so called "game mechanics" are not intended as killer playstyle, they are possible, but not intended to been used on purpose. Everyone who say it is a game mechanic so the game want me to play like that is wrong. I as a survivor also could just run and hide all the time it also is a game mechanic, yet it is not what you as survivor should do.
For short only because you CAN means not that you HAVE to! The killers should think about it. Every killer who use these playstyles DECIDE to play like that, because they are not good without that and do not want to try become better at all. Yet they still come out and complain that this game still is to hard for them. So maybe the next change to calm their souls is that the match starts with all four survivors on the hooks maybe? Since killers want it so easy that they do not even need to do anything anymore and get still like 40k bp out of this match.

I’m not a super sweaty player, I just like to get some points have some chases and meme around generally. Some nice things I like to do for killer when I play survivor are:
-Let huntresses use me to practice their hatchet throws.
-Help billies practice their curve hits by running shack or other corners with them.
-Help killers get their achievements or challenges. One of my friends streams and whenever we are SWFing, if the killer comes in and tells us they’re trying to adept, get a challenge done, get some BP etc. we always help them out. We’ll do some gens, earn points for ourselves then give the killer their hooks or kills, whatever they need done.
Just a few examples. Anything you guys like to do to help out the other side when you’re feeling nice or generous?
As a killer I let survivors get some points or help them with any task or stuff if possible. Like when they have to throw pallets to stop a killer or stuff.
And as a survivor I do let them hunt me, let them kick the gens, and so on. I also let him sacrifice me when he is very very nice. And put him my item as a gift

Playing survivor is terrible but when I play killer it's not fun getting 4k after 4k because there's no challenge. Why do the devs want this?
It is more like majority of the killers come out and want them to change everything to their favor. But as soon as a survivor main does that they come and talk them down in how powerful and unfair it is as survivor, while meanwhile killers got a wall hack for everything but the survivors without any perks, can use dirty playstyles without get any trouble get adept trophies for free and do not even have to really earn it anymore.
The problem here are the killer mains who do not want to become better but get the game changed so they can do as they please. It is boring as a killer. You have such a big advantage that you will get the 4k in most cases without even really trying. That is why I play my killer rounds in a fun way. Not to forget that most killers act like their whole life would be on the line when they wont win a match, so they go full on dirty in the matches right from the start.
And you here got also some of the examples I mentioned before. Tell you "that you never met good survivors" means an excuse for playing dirty, because he met the few full on hardmode survivors, therefore the killer NEED to be dirty in the matches. It is useless to make a argument there since every valid argument will be smashed with senseless excuses which does not even are anywhere logical the more you think about it.
The devs react to the wants of the killers and do not listen to survivors, because survivors ALWAYS will be talked down or gaslighted, as soon as they dare to say ANYTHING. That is the biggest issue the devs should consider here.
-
I want the small game charm. And some others too for sure
-
Tunneling and the rest of these so called "game mechanics" are been used very often currently. It is extrem if you ask me.
And the reasons the killers come up to are always the same and always no real reasons but excuses.
GENRUSH: let me tell you that is in 99% of cases I also would say 100% of cases not a real genrush made by the mean survivors but the killer who failed to put the right amount of pressure on surviors. Like killers who run 4 minutes after one and the same survivor. Or do 3 genning and yes that still is a thing.
Then there is this where killers say that they lost several matches in a row and that now allows them to let out all the dirty "game mechanics"
You know it is easy to play that way you also may get a 4k but yet you prove that the problem are not really the survivors but the killers who find excuses, or just copy them, only for their own selfish needs.
Not to forget the most senseless excuse in my opinion, that in high ranks you need to play like that, cause you will not win at all. Sry but the MAJORITY of survivors are not high rank pro gamers, they are just casual and yet the killers go insane on them. It also shows that that is an excuse because you can not go in a match with that mind set all the time, when you only relate it to high rank survivors. You go in matches with that mindset because you WANT to play dirty.
And no "reason" ever is really a reason when you think about it. It always is make it look like a reason to feel better when play like that.
I even had someone who said, that real killers would be like that too. There is a extreme lack of reflection on their own behaviour only cause they do only want to annoy others and make them suffer in a game for their own personal excitement, at least thats how it seems to me most of the times.
-
My team and I, we play most of the times in a three man party, we almost never does that. We always try to get the solo person, IF that person really played normal and helped a lot. Even when the killer is a camper we help. Most of the times that means one of us will be dead sometimes even two, but yet we help, if the solo queuer was a helpful and overall nice person.
But if the solo queuer was, like it happens more and more these days, a person who just crouch in the last corner of the map, with a perkbuild that only focus on be the last survivor and get the hatch, we immediately let that person die at first hook. Someone who litterally crouch from second one and hides somewhere, do no gens, do not help hooked people and ONLY heals himself with Claudettes perk, will ALWAYS die long before gates have power. (Mostly that are the Bills or Claudettes)
Look if you go solo queue we get it that it is risky to get survivors who let you hang in the end. BUT if you already have in plan right at the start of the match, that you wont do anything and just get the hatch, you will be dead. So if you want a team to help you, you need to help as well. And yes there are bad person out there, these who tbag and just leave and do not think of get you anyway are really really bad. But never let that slide in the next match. Cause that is not often the case.
And last I want to say is be nice and helpful so most teams will go help you too. Be useless and selfish, you will be dead long before you even get a hint of the hatch
-
Haha Killer who has problem in do what he least have to do and want to take away an advantage (Which in my eyes not even is an advantage) only cause he is to selfish.
No matter how many hours you have. You as killer are already in a big advantage and now, cause YOU are to lazy to search for the last survivor or hatch, want them to remove? You serious?

I did an experiment over the last few days where I went out of my way to identify the closest generators (usually 3, sometimes 4 if there was a particularly dense area of the map) and focus on patrolling those. I played a variety of killers, ranging from Myers and Wraith to Plague and Nurse.
My main strategy was to protect that region of the map, making sure survivors couldn't infiltrate and do the gens. Occasionally I would stray out of that area, but only if I knew I was going to get a down within a few seconds, or if I knew I was going to be able to snowball and the survivors wouldn't be able to effectively attack gens in that time. I brought in a mix of detection perks so I could know when survivors were trying to infiltrate my 3 gen, and gen regression perks so if a survivor managed to get a chunk of progress on one of my gens I could easily reset it.
The kick blocking mechanic never even came close to being in play because I strategically planned out when to use my regression events. I didn't mindlessly kick gens but rather waited until I knew the survivors had committed a decent amount of time to working on them before kicking.
With these strats I played 15 games and easily won all but 1 - I'm sure I would have won all 15 if only I wasn't terrible with Deathslinger. Honestly it felt a little dirty, the survivors really didn't stand a chance and they were very uninteresting games for me, probably for the survivors as well. I guess my question is, how is it that 3 genning is still a thing with the anti 3 gen system put in place?
Because it still is possible to do that. As a killer it is easy to find the 3 gens which are most near to each other. And since when only one gen is left there are only three open gens which can be done 3 genning never could be avoided. How could it? Even if they are not very near killers usually just patrol them. It is a strategy so no bad word here, it is inconvenient, but that is not the most bad issue I see here.
If you ask me. the best option to avoid that. Is that killer just never lose the finished gens out of sight. I mean look. What if they just change that finished gens will not shown anymore to the killer, but still be highligted. So the killer need to focus which really are finished and which not. That make it useless to patrol the gens if you do not know anymore which really are done. And 3 genning will become ineffective because killer do not know which gen need to be done by the time only one is left to get power to the gates. It would make the game more fair again. If you ask me it is pretty much unfair that the killer even can see the gens from beginning. That should either get removed, or if not, that even finished gens still will be shown to the killer. It is like a wall hack for killers to know where some survivor maybe could be. And we saw in lights out how insane that truly is. Because there killers still could see all gens, and just needed to patrol them to find survivors, while survivors even got the advantage that the gens were on already so they can even find them.
Why it is unfair you might ask? Look survivors need to find gens first to start working on them. If they do not have specific perks with they can not see gens. They only can find them by looking for the lights or listen if it is already working two things killers can use too to find gens by the way yet killers got the extrem advantage to not only get them all shown no matter how far away the gen is (Something you as survivor need a perk for and still not get all shown) and additional the gens who are finished are not shown anymore. All that summed up is making it way to easy for killer to patrol and get survivors real fast. It just make 3 genning and genpatroling way to easy. That is why survivors are mostly screwed when only one gen need to be done and that means there are only three possible gens left which all shown to the killer at any time. It is just no wonder why killers has it way to easy when for example two survivors already are dead to just win, because they find the survivors very fast no matter how far the gens are apart.
Not to mention all the perks which can killers use to keep gens down. It is okay that these perks are in the game. But for my opinion that killers can see gens is just an unfair advantage which should be removed. They should learn to find gens without these wallhack survivors need to do that too. Same goes for hooks. Survivors for example get not shown the hatch or gates all the time too. It just is unfair you can say what you want but prove me wrong.
And if they wont remove it fine no problem, but then change that the finished gens wont get shown anymore so killers acutally need to learn to play better than just rely on their gameadvantage wallhack.
And to make it short to prove my point. While survivors need to find gens by really search them by look for them or listen for them, while killers get them all shown, also can see them and hear them and also get not shown the finished ones anymore to get even more advantage to find gens. And for everyone who say it would it make harder for killers to find survivors yea and that is it when the game would be fair for both sides. Since killers just need to learn to search better more and the game is not often times already determined with the killers in favor.
It is just my idea to either remove the wallhack for gens for the killers so the fairness in game is finally kinda equal, or if not removing it change it to all gens no matter if finished or not are shown to the killer at any time, to get it at least a bit fairer for survivors. So the killers are not lose their wallhack but do not get a increasing advantage as the round progressing. And no the survivors do not have a real advantage with the 3 gens left, cause finding them becomes harder the fewer gens are not finished. And because killers can easy patrol them it is kinda impossible to make them really to get out.
Same for the hatch. Killers move around the map more fast than any survivor could. That killers can hear the hatch is pointless, cause in around 95% of the cases the killer finds the hatch miles before you even hear it. If killers are able to close the hatch okay, but than they should not be able to hear it, because that makes the existence of the hatch kinda obsolet. What sense has a way to escape which almost everytime is disable long before you are even able to find it? How is that any fair? Especially when you think how fast a killer can move from gate to gate after closing it. A survivor even when he is right at the gate already are almost everytime not able to open the gates before killer comes back. Cause killers do not need to walk all the way to the gates to see if somewhere is there but just go as far as they need to see if the lights are on. If not just turn and do the same on the other gate till you can see which is going to open. (Not to mention, that killers again have a wallhack for the switches to open the gate, another big advantage which should be removed. Since survivors do need again special perks for that while killers just got it for free again) also the killers who just can kinda teleport over the map are even more in advantage.
There must be so much changes to the killers to make it more fair.
Killers should not be able to see all gens at any time or can still see them, but all finished or not will be shown the whole round.
Killers should not be able to close or if not just not able to hear the hatch, since they will almost every time will find it miles before the survivor is even near it.
Killers should not be able to see the switches of the gates, and the lights on the switches should only be seen when the killer is directly at the gate.

To be honest. Playing survivor alone is pretty useless. Mostly the others fail so much. Like close EVERY locker when it is the dredge. And other stuff like that. So soloq is the most useless thing to do.
I play mostly with a team. We are now a good working team but yet most game are just outright disgusting. Tunneler are like 98% of the killers. Same goes for slugging, camping and proxy. Often it all is come from one killer all together.
The reasons they mention for such behaviour ALL are just excuses. Either it is a genrush, which is ALWAYS the killers own fault to put pressure on survivors, 100% of the times, cause they are just run after one and the same survivor for 5 gens straigt. So NO that is an excuse NOT a reason. Since it is very strange to say, that the survivor do what they have to, and only cause the killer failed to create enough pressure they could do it without being interrupted. Killers are aware that make gens is like the only thing survivors have to do? So cause survivors do their task to escape, the killers say it is okay to play toxic. It would be the same to blame a plumber for doing his job so you can kick him between the legs. (If that really make sense to any killer it is weird)
Or when a killer come with the excuse that a real killer would also not play fair with you. Any reason killers bring are just excuses and I do not accept any of them anymore. Since they all are made up or just copy pasted of someone who said it before cause they think it sounds logical which it never does.
Best excuse killers can bring is. Cause every survivor group they potentially meet could be a bully squad. So they just play like that every time. Not even think twice about the fact, that these "bully squads" are pretty rare and 99% of players ARE NOT BULLIES. Yet it is another unlogical excuse.
Next excuse is tunneling, camping or slugging a survivor cause it is a level 30+ survivor. Like if any survivor with a high level character deserve to get tunneled or slugged or camped to death. And since survivors before a round could not see the level of the killer, so if it is a valid reason for killers to act like that, DEVs please give survivors the possibility to see the level of the killers, so we can leave EVERY TIME when there is a 30+ killer which awaits us. (Not possible cause it ruins the game for these killers? Hmm maybe that should you say the killers too) Not to forget that there is simply no reason to become toxic and dirty to a survivor cause he put a lot of effort in a character they liked. It is like punish someone for liking a character and level it.
Another excuse is, that slugging, tunneling and camping etc. are game mechanics like doing gens for survivors are. Which obviously is not make any sense. Since if the game want a killer to play like that it would be a hint or part of the tutorial. Sure these stuff is in the game and you could also call it a "game mechanic" since the game does not prevent it really. BUT it is still a killers very own decision to use this stuff. I saw killers which played without any of this and build up so much pressure we could not do anything. These killers are very rare they are like almost extinct. Some killers are nice and want to farm but these are also very rare. It just is no reason cause the game make it possible to use this "mechanics" it does not make them VALID tactics. (No matter if any killer is now hurt about my words)
And I do not want to begin with these who cheat. Cause often we as survivors can not really can see if it was a cheat or not. Since killers are so buffed up nowadays it is like basic killers alone are like a walking cheat. (Especially some specific killers)
Disconnects or suicides on hooks are increase because it is almost impossible to get anything done. So many killers are just slug and stuff at five gens without any mercy. Why stay in a game when killers are not willing or able to play a normal and fair game for all and instead just are toxic as hell, dirty in their playstyles and so on? And most fun part. If a killer acknowledges that that wont work in a round, cause that sometimes happens too, leave the match too.
To be honest. The killer mains are here these which should rethink their behaviour. It is them and almost them alone which got mad about survivors, which again just do the gens, cause that is what the game want them to do, and destroy them in the game and in this forum as well. Cause every time you as survivor main dare to critisize that behaviour or critisize things which totally favours the killer you as survivor got gaslighted and talked to the ground. It is just impossible to open the eyes of the killers who just got absolut out of control, cause they just copy paste opinions of bigger streamers like they are gods (And no these streamers are not right only cause they stream. What just is toxic does not become a valid game mechanic only cause a streamer said so)
And to say genrushing is a toxic behaviour of survivors is so far from make any sense, because what are survivors suppose to do instead? Just stare a wall? Only cause the killer is failing to build up pressure any good? Genrushing is not the reason it is the result of a killer be just not good. Sry if that sounds hard, but it is just that. Good killers who are really good in this game build up pressure so hard (Without slugging, tunneling or camping etc) we can be glad to get even two gens done. We had them, few but still there. That is why I know that genrushing is an excuse which is just copy pasted so often every killer believes it. So killers just tell me if you say genrush is a reason, then TELL ME, what is your solution? What should the survivors do instead? Wait for you to get them? Teabagging at the gates till you feel like you got treaten fair? Cause it is not like survivors rush because they use a certain game mechanic like killers do when become toxic, they just DO THE GENS, and only cause you as killer fail to get them under pressure it does not give you the permission to become toxic. I mean every killer who do not see that it is their own fault and they just push it to survivors cause they are not able to reflect themselve should maybe stop playing the game.
I as a survivor have no issue with get on hooks or moried or stuff. My issue are the majority of killers who smack you with every cheap excuse they can get for their toxic behaviour. I also think that no survivor really would become any mad if it is a 4k in a round if killers just would play it fair. Even more I experienced that these killers who played fair and got a 4k were praised for that. Cause it is like what, in my opinion at least, should the game be like. A killer which play fair but still is so good we have no chance or 4 survivors who are so good the killer got no one. Not how it is now. Killers tunnel, slug and camp etc. the hell out of every single survivor, cause they think it is okay, only care bout them not the others, and do not deal with the fact they are toxic as hell. Even more they push the fault to the survivors so they can just go on with it. I for myself am over these cheap and disgustingly unlogical excuses and do not accept any of them anymore. Cause they are ALL excuses and will never be any reasonable. PERIOD.
-
Haha I came on this post, read it and as soon as I read "killers gaslight when survivors make a statement" the killers begin to gaslight the issue, so it is already worthless to even discuss it even further.
And when you killers really think it is comparable what they did till now for the survivors with all the insane buffs they did on killer side then it is no wonder why you wont see the issue, and no wonder the most survivor mains stop playing DBD.
This game is no fun to play really as survivor. Sure sometimes there is a good or nice killer but 99% of the times it is just a bad killer, who use bad techniques to win and who has a growing advantage due to all the buffs. And yet you killers come and try to defend this with the few not really buffs since they do not help at all, because these are buffs as well? What a joke.
If you ever wonder why it got to this state in the game it is you killers who just jump in and destroy the critic, because you do not see that is not even close to be equalized. The killers ARE getting buff after buff after buff. While the survivors need to wait till they maybe will get something to even keep up. But most of the times it is worthless since 99% just play with such dirty tactics that escaping nowadays just is near impossible.
Some things we need to change. The most important is an anti-slugging change, since it is out of hand. The hatch should not be closable by the killer (Or at least the killer should have much more trouble to find it, since he is way faster and in cases of these who can just flash themselves over the map they will find it seconds after it appears.) Also the wiggeling should be changed back it is almost impossible to wiggle free especially with the killer grab perk.
But since the next gaslighting killer will tell us, why it is not good for the poor killer who has it that hard in the game, that he need to get buffs all the time, will rip my argument apart it was a waste of time to even write it.

I agree with you, that is also why I only believe the suggested timer should be there if EVERY survivor is downed and the killer refuse to hook any of them.
But that would be pointless. By the time these update will be released, every slugging killer will just pick one survivor up and bring him to a hook and leave the rest on the ground to prevent this you mentioned to happen.
See how they outplay the camper bar. They just camp just outside the range which triggers the bar, put traps, marks, ghosts or other things there which does not trigger the bar and do just camp on without the survivors having any chance to get the hooked survivor safe.
If you bring a update to prevent slugging that has to be something which can not be outplayed. The killers need to learn that they have to stop certain behaviour ingame just because they can. Just because I can I could try to flash the killer every single time, but I do not. Or just because I can I could just hide and do nothing in this game as survivor till the others finished the gens, but I do not. There are toxic behaviours which, only because they are possible, are just not good at all. And sure they can help the killer to win, but winning like this is hardly bring you anything.
But I just want to say. If the trigger is that all have to be slugged and only then the timer will start, the killers just pick someone up and hook them to stop the timer. Because the one hooked survivor now is not slugged anymore, but your timer has this as requirement to start. (Maybe pick someone up does not stop the timer for the others, but in that case the killer still win the round, since he just need to pick all up and hook them. So what is the point of the timer? It must be a countermeasure which start way before that. Because with your idea it is easy to prevent them to get up
My idea is not the best developed yet too. But it is not easy to find a good way to counter slugging
-
My idea would be, that like camping, slugging will get a bar which fills like this.
The first survivor who got down has his bar shown but not filling. As soon as the second survivor is laid, the bar of the first slugged survivor fills slowly, as such as the bar of the second survivor slugged. When then a third survivor got slugged the bar for all of them fills faster, the first ones bar fills the fastest the second ones a bit slower and the third ones normal. When then the last survivor got slugged all bars fill much faster. If by this time the first one does not got back up again he got adrenalin as soon as one of the others is picked up. If he got picked up first his bar progression becomes 50% wiggleing progression.
When one of them, which is not the first slugged survivor, is picked up the bars decrease speed. but they can never stop at that point.
I will be honest with you. The excuses most killers have for slugging, tunneling and camping are outright bad. They tell it is cause of genrushing, what if you are honest, is in 99% of cases the killers own fault. Killers who know how to build up pressure without mentioned techniques, never really have an issue with build up pressure. I saw some before which were very very good and also played just fair (They are rare nowadays but still seen)
I also am pretty much sure most killers just tell these excuses because someone else who slug, tunnel and camp all the time said it before. Sry but it is like they just copy and paste, because genrushing seriously is not that easy if the killer plays acutally good. It only become easy if the killer decide to just run the very same survivor for 4 gens straight and wonder why they rush it. (100% of cases)
I also got someone who excused this toxic playstyles with "Real killers would do the same so do not cry about it" I heard a lot.
But the most fun part is, that they all defend these playstyles with "toxic" playstyles of survivors like doing gens. I mean let us please be real for now. You as killer who slug, tunnel and camp seriously say, you have to become toxic, because survivors do gens? The only way for them to escape at all? And nobody of you every asked themselves if they are maybe have a misconception here, because the game do not say you have to slug or tunnel or camp as a killer these are FULLY your own decisions. Sure it is possible in the game, but nowhere I ever found anything which actually tell you to play like that as a killer. And only cause you can play like that it is not really the game who tell you too. It is your very own decision to do it. And feel free to, but do not wonder please if the survivors kill on hook, leave as bots, or even tell you in chat to stop that stuff. Because the majority of players are normal players, these who wanna have fun. And you as a killer (99% of you at least) are like their live would end if they dare to just let one survivor go. Let me tell you it is fine to try to get all 4 and I wish you best of luck, but if you go full on toxic to get that what is that even worth? Sure you in most cases can get all 4 of them if you play like that, but is that really fun? Is it fun to be toxic just for yourself? I mean it is not like the game punish the killer for not get all of the survivors, but yet the absolute majority of the killers seems to feel like that.
And the over and over again excuse of why you have to play like that are boring already. They are nowhere near of make any sense. Become toxic because the survivors just play the game. And to say survivors are toxic too, I can say no wonder. Who would not be toxic if 9 out of 10 matches are slugging, tunneling and camping and 8 of them on 5 gens already? It became so worse that even on 2 gens where I normally would have understood why you do that it is very bad.
I can just tell you I myself (Maybe because of MM) have no trouble in get all survivors sacrificed without these stuff (Just to clarify, I know there are some very try hard survivors too, and my MM is not that tough right now) But still I think as a killer to go in a round should not be like oh on 2 gens I slug and tunnel the hell out of every single survivor left. Because that is just 99% of the matches I have.
I even watched a twitch streamer who slugged all 4 tried to tell him how toxic that is, and he said, the rounds before he did not slug at all, when in fact he did, and he did it in the most disgusting ways possible. He slugged a survivor who showed him where the other survivor was only to slug that other survivor which just played a normal game and then hook both of them at the end. Even more, he just said oh okay, the last survivor which got betrayed by the other one he picks up, let go, because hooks are too far gone, to hunt her still a bit and then hook her. (And he said he is not toxic) I have to say it is just a bad way to play. And even the game does not exclude it it is an overall very toxic playstyle. Not get me wrong if a survivor run into you right by the time when you just laid another one and you try to get him as well that is just fine. Even it is slugging if you want, it is out of the situation. And that I can absolutley understand. Because that can bring a bit pressure. But it is a difference in run after someone who you just saw and try to get him and come back if you got him or just leave him if it would take to long, or stand above a slugged survivor because there is a pallet and you wait for another survivor to come get him with full on intention. Or let one of the last two survivors on the ground to prevent the other one for get the hatch (These are the most disgusting playstyles ever) I saw them in the stream of the streamer I mentioned before and was laughing when I think back that he in the very own stream said, that he did not slug at all in the rounds before, when he did it in every round. XD
Killers I get you it is hard especially in the higher ranks. But these are not the majority of gamers. And even a high rank does not automatically mean that the player is a bully. It often just means he just played a very long time and leveled a lot of chars in that time. Sure they do know some more things by the time but still the most of even them just want to have a relaxing but still a bit chill game. So before the devs maybe someday really change some ingame stuff because you as killers (Who play like that) absolutely got out of control (Which you already are in my opinion) and bring countermeasures to all of that, it would maybe help to rethink your own behaviour in the game. I mean do it really need to get to that point where we need these changes? Can you not just calm your socks and do not try hard like your life would be hooked on that to get all survivors? It is no fun to play against it and I assume many players already stopped to play because of that and the very lame excuses for that. Why is it that you guys play like that with really winning anything out of it? It does not give you ANY advantage to win with slugging tunneling or camping (Proxy as well) it just do not. Even more, the most of the times you got not even more bloodpoints from that, because if you start on 5 gens with that you waste all the potential hunts, the gen kicks, the blooding all that what you only can build up over the time where you do a good pressure and just play fair you waste because your only goal is to hook the hell out of the survivors. So to say to make it for bloodpoints, when you do just got way less through toxic playstyles, than fair plays? Ask yourself is it worth it to destroy the whole fun and chill aspect of the game, to just get all of them, do not even have more but way less BP out of it and I thing not even a pip not to mention two pips?
But I know that there are different opinions and these killers who full on play like that never really will ask themselves if they maybe should stop that because it is absolutely egoistic and toxic and destroy the whole game, because hey they just can get all 4 survivors without actually be any good. So why invest time to become good, when the BP are not important and be toxic is way way easier, since for that you do not have to be any good. (And yes that is a kind of front, because the really good killers know that they are good and they prove it in any game even though they are rare.)
My greetings goes out to all the killers out there who are good and fair and still got survivors (No matter how many) and just are happy with that. I like you and will always tell you how nice it was to play against you. Because I am glad to got on hook by a killer who are actually good.
I will not start a debate on why slugging tunneling or camping is okay, it is not. (Sometimes I understand, why it is happening, but it still is not good, ESPECIALLY if done intentionally and even MORE ESPECIALLY if intentionally on five gens! If you think otherwise fine, debating with you is just waste of time and I do not want to waste that. This just has to stop or get back to a acceptable level, but at the moment it is hard out of control (Because the most streamers just celebrate and praise it. Even it means that they prove their actual lack of skill in that very moment)

If killers couldn´t see gens&hooks or survivors couldn´t see downed&hooked teammates. Then the matches would be really boring. As there would be absolutely no interaction between accidentally a killer finding a gen. Or accidentally finding a hook, while the survivor wiggled free for the 5th time.
It seems you never play killer. Killer has a clockwise hook counter that tells him how many total hooks he has. Currently that counter is removed.
Anyway, you don´t seem to like it. Then just don´t play it. No one is forcing you to have a terrible time. Just play the side/mode you enjoy.
Cheers.
Still unfair, every time when only 1 gen is left for the survivors it is pretty easy for the killer to find them. And stop them. Especially when he did already got some.
It just favors the killer and that is a fact. No matter what they took from the killer the most stuff he still can do, while the survivors just can not do anything really anymore. That is a fact.
That you as a survivor can at least see downed or hooked survivors is the last thing they still got, everything else is gone. The killer on the other hand just do not have the clockwise hook counter aww what a downer right? Still the killer are in favor here.
And yea I do not play the mode because it is a crappy mode and only these people do like it who always do like to play unfair in every way, so I just assume you do play like that too, that is why, you absolutely love this mode where you just can play unfair because the mode is fully made for that.
Anyway enjoy it. I do not and I still hope they someday do some more work and bring the 2v8 or 5v5 modes in the game finally.

Killers never had a progress bar for wiggle progress...
Also, complaining about killers seeing hooks&gens is like complaining that survivors can see downed or hooked survivors.
Survivors have at least the hook counter. Unlike the killer who has nothing. But yeah, the people that don´t like a perkless mode, won´t have a lot of fun with this.
Well at least we won´t see complaints about perk XXX being OP during the event.
Cheers
Dude haha it is a difference when see them hanging or on ground, since that is needed to save them. While on the other hand, see hooks and gens make it easy to 3gening or just hang a survivor as near as you can. It would be compareable when survivors would also see gens. See a downed or hooked survivor is a difference than the gens and hooks still. Since you can not see the survivors the whole time. You compare apples with pears
Haha dude the killer has no hook counter in normal as well. You always come with at least they got this or that, while the killer has not as if he had it before, what he never had. For the killer the only change is that he can not see scratchmarks anymore, while the survivors do not see anything, and you come and say "ohh yea but they can see hooked and downed survivors so why do you complain". So do you say with that that survivors also should been taken that too so that they did not see anything anymore? For real? Haha you say it feels much more immersive, but in reality it just favours the killer MUCH more than the survivors. The killer can come out of nowhere which makes it more fun yea, but you can see the location of every gen, that means you just can patrol them till you find one where a survivor is working at. So that is the first advantage. While survivors need to hear them, you just see them all around the map and also hear them as well. Who has here the advantage hm? The survivors who only can hear them nearby, or the killer who still can see them and also hear them too? I wonder who is having the advantage hmmmm XD
Next is that you also still can see the hooks, so you when you down a survivor you just get him up and bring him straight to the hook. That is also a big advantage, since survivors do not see their wigglebar anymore, not that that would make a big difference, because like I mentioned before, it is very unlikely to wiggle out of the killers grap till he reached a hook. It already is in normal games, so why do you think it would be a difference here? It would be a difference when the killer could not see the hooks, so he has to find them first what give the survivor a better chance for wiggleing. (My improvement here would be to give the hooks like a sound which can be heard from the killer so he knows he is nearby a hook). But here the killer also have a big advantage, since he also can see the hooks and just head to the nearest, and WE ALL KNOW IT WILL NOT WORK TO WIGGLE IN THAT TIME! You also know that.
Next advantage is, that killers may do not see scratchmarks anymore, but they still can see blood. Sure it disappears much faster, but he could follow it if he is skilled. And for killers like the Wraith I think the kinda still can see the scratchmarks cause of her ability. So the point that it will be harder may affects some killers but these who know what to be aware of it is no big deal. Since there are also abilities for survivors which hide scratchmarks Killers are more likely to have no trouble without scratchmarks. While Killers on the other hand are more or less undetectable till they are directly in you back and that I consider as funny and good at this mode, BUT that also invite the good old (Camper, Tunneler and Slugger) Killers to even go more into that especially the Campers. I played against the Ghost before, and he camped in that mode, and tunnelnd and slugged while he already can go invisible and stuff. It was impossible to do anything against that.
It is funny you say people who do not have fun perkless. Dude, that is not the problem with that mode. But if not now how should the mode not show that Killers have a huge advantage here? Also all the bars which are removed for survivors are not from perks, but still got removed. So why you come with that argument, when nobody made that up? That is so pointless really.
All in all you also said, it felt more immersive to you, that must be a joke. Since all what really changed for the killer is the scratchmarks and that he can not look in the distance, but therefore EVERY killer got undetectable till he is right in the back of the survivor, they still can see all hooks and gens, they just can use dirty tactics even more relentless and since the survivors can not really heal if not right on hook, because find others is pretty hard, they have it way more easy to down survivors.
Survivors on the other hand still can be chased very easily they got all bars removed and I mean ALL BARS, they can not see how much gens are yet to make anymore, they got no improvement for wiggleing, sure they got that the gens already run so they can find them better, but still not so easy, it is much harder to find other survivors to heal them. Since it seems like the killer does have a better view hiding or looping is much more difficult, even it should be the other way around.
Since killers and survivors both have no perks that point is irrelevant here.
So I do not get how you think it is much more immersive when just one side really got taken all what they really had before and the others just can not see scratchmarks anymore. How on earth is that anywhere near immersive? Since I never had seen a horror movie where the killer could see all the spots where the victims could be and where to hang them, for real, that is no immersion at all, it is just a bit darker and without scratchmarks for the killer, thats it, while the survivors are more or less out of everything.
But hey at least they can still see how often they hang, because THAT IS AN ADVANTAGE. Haha dude, you never play survivor I think? And you sure does not know what real immersion would be. When you as killer really had to find the gens and not get them shown the whole time and really had to look for you victims THAT WOULD BE IMMERSION, not these advantages which you already has in the normal game. When you as killer need to really find all of that, like the survivors do, than we can talk. But the mode at the moment is only favours one side and that by far. There is simply none advantage a survivor really has. They can not do gens secretly and have to keep care if maybe the killer finds them, cause he knows where all gens are and just need to patrol them, they can not really help each other, cause it is already not easy to find a hurt survivor in normal game mode if you did not see him or unhook him. They do not really can fool the killer by hiding behind something, cause the killer does see you most likely no matter what. And when you got downed the killer still see the hooks, so wiggleing still is useless like it is in normal mode, since there is ALWAYS are hook nearby so wiggleing does not help at all, what it would if the killer would not see the hooks in any form. And prove me wrong, but the killers still got notification when you jump through windows or pallets, when a gen explode and when it is finished right? SO AGAIN WHAT DOES CHANGE FOR THE KILLER? He only could not see scratchmarks anymore and he can not look in the far anymore, other than that he has only advantages. Also every killer still has their abilities, what give also a bit advantage too up to the killer you play. For instance Legion or Ghostface which get shown survivors through their abilities. And that is fine, but yet another advantage they still got, while survivors do not have any ability. (Again that is fine, but here also not really immersive.)
See I do not get why you say it is immersive, when in reality it just limits the survivors to almost blind and did not change anything really for the killers. That is nowhere near even, that is a huge advantage for killers and it simply is no fun like that.
It would be much more fun if the killer also do not get to see the gens and hooks as well. That would be fun, because than the killer really has to search and not just do the normal stuff on almost blind survivors, that is not immersive it is just hella boring and pain for survivors.
But I am pretty sure, you see it otherwise and all I wrote is like wasted time. But I just wanted to say where you are very wrong in saying that it is even or immersive, cause it is nothing of both. It is just not good and need a lot of improvment because now it is just a unfair disadvantage against the survivors for no reason at all. (And no you can not really escape the killer when he really chases you that is not possible even when he does not see that far, when he really want to get you he will and can, cause he has the bigger advantage here.)
All whats left to say is, that I hope that mode will been improved so that it is also fun for the survivors. That the survivors really have a chance and not just get patrolled to death. If you take all from the survivors than take all from the killer too. Only that makes it even. Maybe just make, what you had in the survey, that the killer got notified about the position of the survivors from time to time, so they get a clue where to look, but not like that. Cause now the killer just keep walk around the gens till he find a survivor. That is boring and makes it almost impossible for survivors, cause even when they manage to finish gens, when there are only 3 left they will die. And for the hooks make a sound which starts when the killer carry a survivor, which becomes louder the nearer the killer get to a hook. That would my improvments for that mode. Oh and turn the field of view even lower, for both. Because at the moment it is still way to easy to be seen. It really must be more difficult.

What you describe is kinda how a killer feels when he carries a survivor. No progress bar for the killer. A wild guess if you make it to that hook or not.
I think its pretty even for both sides. There are no perks. No lobby dodges because of 4 flashlights/toolkits. No scratchmarks and you can use a survivor with a dark outfit to vanish in the shadows. Just like the good old ninja Claudette with darkest moonlight offering.
To me the game feels more immersive. More like a horror game. Jump scares, because a Oni comes out of the nothing.
I love it!
No it is not even. Since it is already in most cases that you can hook the survivor. It is not even whatsoever, because you as a killer still can see where the hooks at and of cause if they are near you the survivor hangs 100% of the time. Since there are no perks anymore which give the survivor any advantage for wiggles. So no that point is not valid. It make no difference if you can see the bar or not because in almost 99% of the cases you pick up a survivor no matter how far the hook is there will always be a hook nearby you can reach while survivors do not even hit 50% wiggleing.
This mode is absolutley favors the killer sry. If the only think you can not see the wiggle bar is which already kinda has no use at all since in the most cases you can hook the survivor anyways, than it is anything but not even at all. Sure survivors can escape much better but that is it. What is here the point of escapeing when you wont get healed till the killer is back at you again? Also I played much more matches now and I wonder why anyone say it is hard to catch up to survivors, most killers I had now just were right behind me even when I jumped a window. I can not agree that when you jump through a window you are gone, cause that is simply not true.
I will do some killer matches too soon to see how it is as a killer but I am pretty much sure it is WAY Easier. Since many killers now can just patroul the gens as they want or do three gening and you can not really react when the killer come to you and yea. Sry but this mode wont work that well.
Sure anyone who likes it likes it and that is okay, but still it is an unfinished and improvable mode.
-
If you ask me this mode benefits the killer much more than the survivors. Not only is all what survivors can see turned of, the do not even see how much gens are left to made, no all bars and stuff are turned of. While the killer still is able to see hooks and gens.
Also the Killer has a slightly bigger field of view I think, if not than spare out that one.
Still Killers are in a huge advantage here. Especially these killers who just camp, tunnel and slug the whole time, which is sadly the majority of the killers. If you feel free to say something to that point than I know you are one of these killers. (Camping, tunneling and slugging are ALWAYS bad there will never be an excuse to that at any point PERIOD)
So I made a few matches now and my conclusion is that the Killer here has the bigger advantages. Since the devs sure did not think about the (Slugger, Tunneler and Camper) when they did this mode, but for these killers this mode is like heaven. If you had struggle with such killer before, than do not play this mode, since it favors them extremly.
I also do just do the challenges and do not play it more than that. Because it is just not that good to play it more.
I also am pretty sure it was the mode nobody really wanted in the survey. I remember it was mentioned in there the lights out mode, but I, myself at least, never ever did choose it over the others. It is a test and it shows, this mode is just outright bad in the implementation

I don't think you're overreacting. I think that kind of behavior is not good to see and your complaint is justified.
Survivor cooperating with killer, betraying the teammates for their own benefits is reportable offense as I know.
Yea it happens a lot nowadays

But these game modes could be fun here as well. ... But it just is natural that game developers go with the current stuff.
Could be, or could be bad copies. But you say its natural the game developer would go with current stuff, then they should go with 2vs8 because that is not only a current mode suggested, its literally their game but twice the input.
Yea I have to admit before start playing the game I thought it was already a game mode because I saw videos with two killers and 8 survivors haha. But to see that they did not really have another gamemode since the game was released was quiet disappointing. But I think they now want to give the players some good modes. I really hope that they not just do one mode and leave out all the rest. They should really add more modes.
Sure the first which really has to come is the 2v8 but since it is not really a big game changer, and maybe do frustrate more gamers, since nowadays the players are pretty much toxic to each other, it should be something, what make the players have more fun again.
Also even when it is double the input, it just is the same basic system. I think a little twist which do not put the players in some anger would be good. That is why I also recommend the Among Us Gamestyle. Since here it is more about fun than try hard. And it sure will be much fun when I think, how the killer try to get anyone while pretend to be a survivor. And for that I think they also should maybe change the angle of view from the survivors to first person too. Or change the view of the killer to third person too. Because when the survivors just can look around everywhere if someone got killed, they knew already who it was and just are too op
I think it would be fair if all have the first person view what make it hard to see anything around you more so the killer would have more opportunities. Also the killer can not see if anyone saw him when he do not check if it is safe

There were many new game modes suggested, but I think bHVR does not need to copy other games into their own.
Community have been asking for 2v8 for a very long time, this could introduce Killer Lobbys and Kill with friends in the main menu.
two survivor teams vs each other for generator control vs 2 Killers would also be a good idea. using 2v8 as base.
idd really hate to see that 2v8 which is the oldest suggestion for this game get side lined for bHVR to rip off prophunt or amongus.
But these game modes could be fun here as well. Even you do not really like to see it along with the one mode which is wished for so long time. I absolutley understand it. But it just is natural that game developers go with the current stuff. And Among Us and Prop Hunt just is very popular. And sure it is just a copy, that is why I do not set it above the 2v8 or 5v5 but it would be my next game mode I would like to see in this game. Since imagine an Among Us Mode with survivors and killers in it. Or a tag mode.
And maybe I repeat myself but I think if they just suggested the modes, they already work on some of them. So I am very curious which game mode comes first to the game.
The least likeable mode I saw in the survey was the lottery where all items and perks are random. That is not good.

I don't think DBD would fit best for an entity boss fight, that would have to be it's own entire game as i have a feeling doing it in this game would just come off as anti-climatic.
Although not like any of them could actually harm The Entity physically.
Maybe a Soul-type DBD game or some DBD fighting game with The Entity as the final boss that cannot be played as because it's too overpowered to be played as. (kinda like Master Hand and Crazy Hand boss fight in Smash Bros)
Yea that would be nice too, The master hand idea. But therefore any survivor need some special moves and the killers will be the stage bosses.

Thank you for this... it really helps with my depression...
I went down to the basement with Wesker today... to look at the majestic tree we have there. No survivors followed. In fact, the ones standing at the top of the stairs just shook their head. 😕
Yea some survivors just do not get that even a killer need some kindness too haha. You just have to choke it out of them from time to time so they can realise it.
But I just play some snowskull fights with most of them. Sure some do not get it but that is fine. At least the most I met have some fun now.
If I ever meet you with Wesker or anyone else you have, I sure would follow you down there for praising the tree. And have some good presents haha
And I hope you will be fine! Keep care of your mental health mate!

I usually kill with a chainsaw but maybe it can be a very gentle and kind chainsaw. Thank you, friend.
And when you sometimes be kind enough to be nice and have fun with the survivors it will good as well. Just have fun and gift it to others

There's room for all of the suggested modes, but personally i would rather have game modes that differs more than just slightly from the current mode we have, as i believe the game will benefit the most from those types of mode, since it would offer different ways for people to enjoy the game when they're bored with the current mode.
Maybe one day dbd can get a Survivor racing game mode like the one Identity V has.
Or Imagine a mode where the survivors can fight back haha. Or a mode where a group of killers play against a group of survivors in a mode of snowball fight or stuff? But not only in event than more all time. At least in winter.
But I am not sure if they should go all away from the base. I just have no idea what they could do. Maybe some kind of legendary missions for the killers and survivors where they have to play against the entity itself before it got them?
-
I am with you the VIP mode would be really bad. It was the mode where one is the obsession who only can open the gate right? And as soon as this person hang it is over right? Yea that sounded nowhere near fun.
I also would see how it would turn out. The killers just focus on that one survivors the most and the survivor who is chosen as obsession just hide as long as it is possible. That is no fun.
I really hope at least the 5v5 the double wedding and these among us version will come. And the normal tag version would be the best. And the hide and seek could be fun to, but not with these every few seconds aura reveal, because that would be a bit annoying so you have to change your position every few seconds. That is too much. But we will see.
I think when they just ask about all these modes in the survey they already working on them cause why would they ask if they do not already knew that the one and only mode in DBD is not enough anymore. And I for myself at least hope that will really help to get so much fun back in the game.

Can I still put survivors on meat hooks after this? I feel like I'm going through an existential crisis here. I always did the entity's bidding and though I did not enjoy it, I killed in her name. The entity forced me!
But maybe... Just maybe... Was it actually me? Was it really the entity who forced me, or was it just an excuse for me to kill without remorse? Have I enjoyed chainsawing all those 9k survivors?
Now I feel horrible. Just in time for christmas. Thanks.
As they said, you are more than a monster. So as long as you are sorry for that it is all fine. We all make mistakes. Just be one who is killing with kindness, especially in the christmas time and all will be fine.
The entity is with you I am sure.
