I thought about the same thing but when you think about it, it won't help at all. BHVR doesn't have the player numbers to split the community in casual and tryhard this is why this MMR system is there in the first place. In my opinion BHVR should reward players for hitting rank one (or red rank idk) so they have a motivation to play in high ranks. The issue right now is you get nothing for being high rank. Sure in the future you'll get BPs for hitting a certain rank but lets be honest, how long does it take to grind 250.000 BPs? exactly.

I really disagree with a lot in your post. This would be my Tierlist.

I played around 20 games. I played Spirit, Pyramid Head, Leatherface, Doctor, Plague and Oni. Every single game was an absolute brawl. I versed red ranks with DS, Unbreakable, Prove Thyself every single game, even on killer I don't really have much experience on. I understand that high skilled killers should be matched with high skilled survivor but in my honest opinion, killers don't really have the power to compete constantely. The only times I won was when I hardcore tunneled the first survivor I saw and that is not really fun for both parties. It is interesting to see how the new SBMM differ from player to player but in my experience I didn't enjoy my time. It also has nothing to do that I'm used to steam roll bad players, I love people who offer a good fight and take me out of my comfort zone but I just think that SBMM has no place in DBD. This game is not competitive despite what people say...it is really not, deal with it. If this MMR gets live people will only see hardcore nurse and spirit mains so both parties won't enjoy their time. My solution would be to split the game into a Normal and Rank mode. As I said, if this goes live no one will have fun but that is just my opinion.

Even when I got a lobby, it was one person. Wait ninety seconds, a second survivor joins. Twenty seconds later one leaves.
Dead end. I thought MMR would give me more fair matches, not Purgatory.
This was my entire night...

Each killer has their own SBM score for you. So there's probably more players on with your Slinger skill level than your Billy skill level.
The real question is how accurate are these skill level scores overall.
Never played Nurse and I found a game in 20 seconds. Everytime there are people with over 2k hours.
I want to play Doctor and I have to wait 15min...and the lobbies are not filled. Two people join, one leaves and then dead end.
I don't understand this SBMM

Not like 99% of perks are getting used in the first place so I don't see how this one would be any different.
Might as well make the 10 people who want Remember Me for hatch happy.
Yeah because most perks in DBD aren't good.
-
Hag. In my 5000 hours of DBD I played against her I think 10 times because I always disconnect when I see her. I rather wait 5min instead of playing against her.
-
I mean I don't think it would be that bad to be honest but I'm pretty sure most killers wouldn't even pick it. Survivors have Left Behind and how often do you see it? I think it would be the same for killer. I don't care if the last person gets the hatch and I don't want to switch out a perk for it.
I wouldn't mind if a perk like this exists but I think it would be pointless.

Nice joke OP. What's next? nerf whispers?

Killers are as difficult as survs. Do you know how difficult is for a new surv run looking back?
Ehhm no. Survivor is way more easy and relaxing.

What makes them wrong? Your opinion? Or do you have stats that can disprove the stats?
Say to a Nurse player that you think Nurse is the worst killer in the game. Either he will laugh at you and think you are joking or tell you that you're bad at the game.

It's not even close to as good as Ruin. Sorry bud but it seems you have no idea what you are talking about.
If you play against good survivors, ruin will do nothing for you. Ruin or Ruin+Undying only hurts bad players and if you play against bad players in the first place and still think you need ruin then im sorry to tell you but you're probably not as good in DBD as you think.

Funny enough I have tons of experience on both these servers as a south american currently residing in Asia. Thing is, and I can't say much about the remaining regions, swfs in Asia don't pay attention to secondary objectives such as totems and chests (heck, sometimes even rescues) at all. I remember when I got here I had to get used to people just rushing through my ruin (which was still old ruin) and escaping without even bothering to look for it or save their teammate who got hooked in the endgame. Maybe this craving for efficiency is a cultural thing, as an outsider I wouldn't really understand.
South America is a different story - people there, at least up until I left, actually felt like they were playing for fun, not to be efficient. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of extremely good players there but they're very casual about it. I didn't fear going against swfs because they were usually just a group of friends trying to have a good laugh, which is totally not the vibe I get from most Japanese/Korean (which are the most common nationalities in the servers I play in) groups, they feel like comp teams in terms of objective, although they often are mediocre at best when it comes to looping.
Honestly, and I know this is gonna sound very lazy, I just started checking profiles to see if the lobby has a 3-man or higher swf group. If it does and I'm not feeling like sweating too hard, I dodge the lobby. Shameless, yeah, but it helps me keep on enjoying the game.
There is nothing lazy about dodging lobbies. Fun should be priority in DBD and imo rarely are sweaty games fun. I play on the EU server and on the weekend every lobby is a tryhard swf lobby. Sure sometimes sweaty games are fun, nobody wants to play against new or bad players all the time but I don't want to play every game like a tournament either.

This 100% seems like a cheater; check their profile and see when their achievements were unlocked. If they're all at the same time, then that's a save file hacker and should be reported and banned accordingly
90% of his achievements were unlocked on february 18th at 6:38pm. Where can I report this person?

Take Karu's advice. Also there should be an option to report him in Steam (since its Steam achievements its also their jurisdiction) if you go to his profile.
I reported him on steam and made a ticket to dbd with his steamid64

To report on Steam:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0GT74IAQVXBD/image.png
Go to someone's profile and clock on the dropdown icon, then Report Player. Select "They are cheating in a game", and then "Submit this account for review". From there, fill in the necessary details.
Got it. I even submitted a ticket with his steamID64

Never reported someone. Can you tell me how I report him accordingly?

Incredibly suspicious, considering you got stuff like "Cleanse 100 Hex Totems", and spawning Hex Totems is completely out of a Survivor's control.
It doesn't confirm it though, but you should absolutely check out the dates of the achievements if you want to know.

They thought the new killer or survivor gonna be lgbtq so they jumped on the hate bandwagon, then they realised its none of this and hated it anyway then switched to I dont like it cuz k-pop lol.
I dont listen to k-pop either or care much about it,but that doesn't mean I hate the new killer,in fact I like both the new killer and survivor and cant wait to play it when its oficially released.
Also saying his power is nothing special? You could say the same thing about killers like legion, huntress, trapper, just because their power is nothing super complicated with magic powers doesn't mean is boring or not good.
His power is nothing new because he is a worse version of Huntress. Everything Trickster can, Huntress does it better. The only people who will "main" him are the ones who aren't able to play Huntress. His perks are nothing new and for the most part look very weak. I don't care much about his apperance and theme anymore but his kit and perks could have been way better. He is B tier max.
Even Scott Jund made a video where he says that Trickster is worse than Huntress and Plague in literally every way possible.
-
Its simple if you bring more than 2 toolboxes I dodge, if you bring two keys I dodge, If you play 4 medkits I play Plague, if you bring one key, I play Franklin's Demise and slug all game so no one will be able to pick up that key.
-
I highly doubt that. I played League of Legends for 7 years and once I had enough I just deleted the game. Sure I spend about 4.000,00$ on skins and stuff but money is just paper with numbers on it.

Nerfed for the fifth time. It shows the devs will do anything in a desperate attempt to satisfy killers at the cost of the substance of their characters and content. Apparently they've made enough money on the Halloween chapter and a middle finger to everyone that bought it. I was already playing a lot less survivor, I will definitely no longer play that role if I am punished for doing the objective. A killer can hide and tunnel when survivor does said actions with no repercussions, killers have perks that punish survivor side for doing the objective. And the perk was not even buffed to compensate, they can still stare at you at the ground while it deactivates. Unbelievable how spineless the devs are in this game.
To be honest the game is already way too survivor sided. If a killer really wants to tunnel you, DS won't stop him from it. More often than not, DS is used as an exploit for playing bad. I had countless of moments where someone gets unhooked and the only person I see is the previous hooked survivor, because their teammates decided to not take pressure from that person, they rather sneak their way to another generator and pretty much left their teamates exposed. Im not a killer who tunnels, because I know how it sucks to wait 10min for a game and then the game ends in less then 2-3min for that person but often times I have no choice.
