That is why I let people go often. I know it is not a "healthy" solution but I adapt. I only go for 4k if people are toxic.
Sadly the only solution is not to play the game which shows from all the comments that everyone is suffering :/

Yep, due to this, I found my own way to play.
All you need is Insidious.
Choose any killer, but its funnier if you pick a killer that's usually highly aggressive. ie: Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Nurse, Oni
Find a corner in the map, or a spot in the main building where you won't be spotted right away. The survivors are expecting someone after them, as they brought all the perks, offerings, and items for such, but I'm not playing that game. It's fun to watch people walk right by me without suspecting anything. If they come up too close, I give them a smack, and return to my spot. It's even funnier if my NOED is still active, and even then I just leave them slugged. The guy can crawl away as much as they want, I don't attack anyone unless they're right in my face.
Honestly it's a win-win. I can have my own fun, and the survivors get a free win.
I mean these are fun ways to play the game some times but if you're goal is to reach rank 1 for the bloodpoint bonuses ect you won't gain any pip if you play that way.

His power is boring too I can't imagine how his mains can play him that much.

Mandy has said in the past they wouldn't because killswitch is reserved for perks that are bugged only.
But also, you know what would happen? Survivors will run sprint burst instead and killers are going to have an even rougher time. I sure don't want 4 sprint bursts, especially when I'm playing a m1 killer.
I'd rather play against basekit Sprint Burst every match than dead hard....
-
Day 1 was okay but day 2 was better for me as a killer and 3rd day was hell on earth.

@Phasmamain said:
Not until people stop tunnelling and camping while playing them (Seriously I wish both sides could just try to be more fair)
It's a cycle, a new killer gets bullied till he improves and then he takes revenge by tunneling camping and playing in a ######### way because survivors were mean to him and the cycle keeps repeating.
-
Basically grabbing a map that already exists in another video game and spreading gens / hooks across it won't make it great for dbd because of how the maps are usually made in dbd.

@DoritoHead said:
At least now it takes longer to bless a totem and self heal than it does to use self-care.
It takes 1 survivor to bless a totem that can be used by everyone for a long time unless you actively search for them wasting time = gens are done
-
Yeah especially killers that you're trying to learn you will get matched against god tier survivors that will take advantage of you learning a new killer to act toxic and make fun of you
-
The game doesn't have more graphic options so you can look for which one causes these issues you can only choose a preset either HIGH MEDIUM or LOW

Yeah performance can be super iffy. If you're on PC and have a Nvidia video card, I've found that disabling "Low Latency Mode" in the control panel improves my performance in DBD and I get less stuttering.
I'm using Nvidia GPU too :/

I have The COMPLETE OPPOSITE, I can play survivor fine. No freezing , no lag. But when I play killer ever since the ringu chapter my game freezes litterly every five-15 seconds. I haven't been able to play killer recently.
This is really weird so my theory that survivor field of view might be the problem is wrong like no killer gives me freezes but survivor is unplayable

PC or console?
On PC: just go into a corner to deny blinding points and tab out. Get a drink, watch something on YouTube or go take a leak.
On console: mute the tv and the rest the same as for PC.
If they want attention, actively deny them. Not passively by keeping playing the game.
Of course keep it in moderation since being afk the whole match could potentially get you into trouble as it is reportable to a certain degree (aka from the begin of the trial all the way through)
PC

I know that MM is a bit messed up at this point
And them knowing the game isn't toxic.... it shows that they have played this game longer then you have not abuse
You need to realize that the more Kills you get the higher your MMR goes up... So you need to grow up and deal with it... Instead of calling everyone you face Toxic... you need to learn your own mistakes so you don't repeat them
If someone Clicks their Flashlights... that means that they want you to chase them... So ignoring it might be the best thing (by thinking of their next movements and your own or moving on to another Survivor)
I ignored him but knowing that he's too good at chases and I don't want to chase him he basically kept running beside me taunting and clicking and his flashlight wasn't normal it didn't get consumed quickly so I already know that I should Ignire but he wasn't letting me play the game constant clicks with macro will cover your screen but they don't consume too much power.I was I a bad situation either I chase other survivors while these 2 jerks make it impossible to do so or I chase the Ace but I already tried he seemed like a speed cheater or just too good I managed to hit him but he escapes and heals at boons so yeah chase the guy till 5 gens are done or chase others but the duo won't let you down or Hook them among the constant bullying.

Ok.... So here are a few things
Those things make you make more mistakes
So ending up with a kill no matter how you get it done means you did good
It also means you need to be aware of what might happen in the pre match lobby... you can see if they have Item or switch to them
Calling everyone Toxic is wrong... Some Survivors again do it to get you to make more mistakes... You need to realize that and not get upset when it does happen... as a matter of fact do it right back at them... Nod your head for every hit you get every down you get and every hook you get (if it is happening to you)
You ignored one important part tho that matchmaking matched me against higher skill players so there is literally nothing you can do against them you know everything is against me their skill is perfect in everyway and they abused that to show their toxicity like a player that uses a macro flashlight you think his intent is good ? Come on it's obvious.

I agree that MMR has a long way to go... They shouldn't stop tinkering with MMR
Also if you let this get to you then be prepared for all 4 Survivors doing it... and getting toxic messages for either letting them all go or Killing 1-2 (3-4) by Camping/ Tunneling
And for what it's worth Welcome To The Game
Everyone is toxic no matter what if 4 escape you're a noob and trash and you will get teabagged and flashlight clicked at exit gates and if you kill everyone you will get toxic post game chat but it's only survivors that do these mostly killers are usually nicer they give hatch and gate to last survivor ect but survivors will claim every opportunity to upset you but look the skill of a 100 hours player is no where near a 5000 hour player it's totally unfair the way that player moves in perfect 360 circles and dodges he predicted every attack and dead hards whenever you land a hit and uses the fact that you can't hit him to bully you at every action you miss .
You miss one m1 he tbags
You miss a window hit he tbags and spams flash light
You pick a survivor he blind you and as you're stuck In animations he comes nearby and tbags
You miss your ability he clicks and tbags
You want to hook someone he body blocks the hook
You want to hit someone he guards them
You chase someone he sticks to you lime your shadow while he clicks flashlight macro and his friend did the same exact things so what's my chance in winning this when I can't even land a hit? The matchmaking is ridiculous.

Nope, I'm not sure which part makes you think I meant that, because I basically said you were new and as with most games when you are new you aren't going to excel at everything.
So when I say that you are listing perks/plays the survivors made and call yourself new, I am taking that at face value and with the context where you should be able to understand that because you are new and they played certain perks and at a much higher skill level ( as you claim) does not make them bullies. It just makes you new.
There is always a learning curve, and I think sometimes people especially on these forums forget that.
Only half of my post is about perks what's the real issue is the act of bullying spamming macro flash light Into killer face , teabagging on top of it , body blocking , taunting, toxic post game chat and more.

Well never had situations like that but there must be some reason they got upset right? And report exist for that kind of behavior and should be punished are you blaming me for that or what haha and btw why you care when someone says something like that to you they are nobody to you.
The in-game report system doesn't punish such behaviors even hackers are not getting banned if you report them through game you need a video proof..

So you claim you are new, but proceed to complain about them being more skilled and "bullying" you, by presenting the perks they used, map offering.... basically things that are a part of the game, that even newer players will still see.
Just because you are bad at the game doesn't mean the survivor is bullying you nor do you know their MMR. In fact there is no way to pin point other people's MMR.
It's ok to be New at the game you know?

What's cringe is your lack of knowledge of the game when claiming every map has 23-24 god pallets. When EVERYONE (not just one or the other side) know this is simply not true, and for you to post that in a post made by a new person.... well that is pretty cringe.
Weren't you just claiming I'm not new?

Lmao I have around 100 hours with both killer and survivor, checking everyone profiles these survivors playtime is by the thousands you know what's a 5000 hour survivor is ? He can play the game blindfolded so when I just understood the game basics in 100 hours I'm bad right ? I can't tell unless I'm a 5000 hours killer Main then I'll blame myself but you're one of them toxic bully survivors 100% you want mmr to match you against new killers because you usually get destroyed by killers that played the game for years right?

Not throwing the game = boring playstyle. That's right killer, go for 12 equally distributed hooks in a game that lasts 4-5 minutes when the survivors can bring in ~16 extra lives and there can be 20+ safe pallets on some maps (wish I was joking!). Just play better, pressure gens.
Right lol 2 circles of healing , 2 dead hards، 3 iron will , map offering , higher mmr and skill swf bullies .. How entitled these survivor mains are ? Like literally 1 kill and they'd complain about it like #########? I chased everyone like a maniac and got bullied doing it.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
Hmm, interesting how 3 people got out and the one survivor got merely 6k BPs. Normally that happens when the survivor was taken out of the game quickly.
Not saying you camped and tunneled (even after seeing they accused you of it) but I would have clicked too if I had to play against a boring playstyle.
I chased everyone but they were much higher skill than me this 4th guy didn't do any gens or objectives basically was weaker when I chased him literally late game I had no gens left he was dead on hook so I'm supposed to let 4 of them escape ? If the killer gets 4k you complain. Oh no how dare you kill one survivor you should always let everyone escape.

this is silly. None of this is a problem, how can you get mad at clicking. I mainly play as killer and I still don't get it? I wish you could communicate ingame and the more shittalking the better, who cares. I miss the Friday the 13th proximity chat, it was hilarious.
The REAL problem that needs to be addressed is the hacker epidemic.
I couldn't see nothing he clicks the flashlight directly to my face at high speeds with how small the killer field of view is my while screen is flashing like crazy and he kept doing it for like an eternity, Imagine if I had a seziure from it ?

1v1 coal tower,I smell a 15yo toxic kiddo full of themselves lol,runs map offering and a purple beamer and a full meta build,kinda embarassing.
They're the kind of people that calls the killer a tunneler and camper if they cam someone after all gens are done 🤣 yeah playing killer in this game is such a fun experience.
You can literally see his name and map offering he brought us to coal tower map which is his best map looks like from the name he knows how to loop and how to play it perfectly with his other friend and basically they bully killers, I couldn't catch them
-
@Firellius said:
I think a .5 second cooldown to switching flashlight state wouldn't be too harmful to survivors in general play.
I also don't think flashlight removal would be too harmful for general play, but I know that that is a hot take.
But yeah, the best thing to do against characters like that is ignore them. They're confident in their chases and are trying to draw your attention to lure you into a chase they think they can win. I've had a Jake like that before. Fully ignored him and killed the rest of his team. Don't care how good you are, you're not winning 1v1.
I swear man once I couldn't down him I ignored him the whole match but then he didn't do any gens and decided to body block me and flash light click click to my face to distract me from chasing other survivors, even if you ignore them they still body block you , sabotage , take hits for others even when they're health since you're not trying to chase him. I agree we need a cooldown for flashlights so it's not worth clicking anymore.

And for people that are sensitive to strobing lights?
The game doesn't have an epilepsy warning, to my knowledge.
Yes thank you for reminding me I felt dizzy after the spammed flashlight it hurts eyes and I felt uncomfortable, I think someone with worst sensitivity to it would get a seizure for sure.

@eaebree said:
That is not being toxic just a good strategy by getting mad you start to play worse and that works for survivors its just a game
Are you serious ? the ace didn't even use his flashlight to save anyone he just followed me around and clicked the flashlight into my face and near me till it ran out . The amount of toxic moves these 2 players did is just too much for my mental health.
Being toxic is a choice just play the damn game if you escape good for you , you're a good survivor but don't bully killers every second.
What's funny is that * strategy * ends the moment you open that exit gate but they didn't want to leave so to avoid tea bagging I just moved away from the exit gates and waited them to leave but they chased me and forced me to chase them to the exit gate and every second of it they did toxic moves and what's even worst the post game chat..
